Unsatisfied service and food quality!!! I ordered the Caesar salad, and while the lettuce on top looked fresh at first, as I started eating, the quality noticeably declined—the lettuce underneath was old and wilted. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, they admitted it shouldn’t be like that and even mentioned the lettuce was from the day before. That was it—no effort to make things right or offer any kind of apology or solution. The service was disappointing, and to make matters worse, the music was so loud and distracting that it completely ruined the atmosphere. Overall, I was not happy with the food or the service. I definitely won’t be coming back.

I came here for a quick lunch but apparently it was a bad idea. Extra charge for cheese, ranch ends up 16+ dollars for a small cheeseburger, fries and drink. The taste was so so nothing stands out. I would recommend you go to in n out with better quality and quantity of food.

First things first: if you're planning on going during meal hours, be prepared to play a little game called "find a parking spot." It's like musical chairs, but with cars. But trust me, the trouble is worth it. Because this place has got the best burger for the best price. And don't even get me started on the onion rings. They're so good, they're practically criminal. The Santa Barbara style is what really sets this place apart, with grilled onions that perfectly complement the fresh meat and produce. And don't worry if you're not a big eater, because even Wimpy would love these burgers. They're that good. In fact, I'm pretty sure they beat McDonald's burgers in a taste test. So if you're looking for a delicious meal that won't break the bank, head on over to the Habit Burger Grill in Irvine. Just don't forget to bring your appetite (and maybe a good parking karma).

The Habit Burger Grill is a nice way to eat lunch unless you're on Weight Watcher or any diets. These fries are amazing, and Charburgers are spectacular. I consider this place good, except that they forgot to put grilled onions in my grilled chicken sandwich.

This is for sure one of those classic mainstays if you want good burgers. They got quality, service, and variety. The food is amazing like always. The burgers are steps above your standard fast food chain. They offer sweet potato fries which are solid af. And the veggie burger smacks!! I would recommend their meat alternative to anything I’ve tried at other chains. Also they’re open later than most spots in Irvine so it’s a solid later evening move.

Ordered onion rings, Santa Barbara Char, and tempera green beans and fries with a total price of $15.38. The patties were charred, which gives a rich flavor to the sandwich. The price and the serving size are also very good. However, the onion rings and green beans were too oily.

I have never been told “we charge for condiments” at a restaurant as big as habit. the audacity as a business baffles me. as a business include in your price of the burger to cover your cost since you can’t afford to supply your customers with condiments . don’t charge clients where NO WHERE else chargers. it makes you look absolute ridiculous and terrible service. i came here craving a burger specifically from habit but i will never come here again because this is how they treat customers. fyi i can buy a bottle of ranch for the price of 2 little cups of ranch, terrible business integrity.

Habit Burguer is always good. This one was not different!

Their onions rings and burger are both really good. I like that I can customize my burger and I like their condiment bar with 3 types of peppers. Price has increased over the years but it's pretty much on par with other restaurants nowadays due to the price of labor, rent, and quality ingredients. Overall friendly service, easy parking, and plenty of seating indoors and out.

Still one of the best burger chain around. Love the way they grill the insides of the buns to give it a slight crunch. Onion rings have excellent crispy batter. We get that every time.

Good tasting burger but not as big as it was before. Onion rings were well made and tasted good. I particularly enjoy their condiments selection with an assortment of peppers. That is a plus

I go to this habit randomly. It's always fine. Exactly what I expect. I'm now at a loss of words for what happened. I bit into a ball of hair. Literally a ball of hair was inside of my burger. This is so so disappointing and disgusting. Never coming back. Obviously

My co-workers raved about hamburgers here so therefore, here I am writing this review. 50/50 coming back. I'd rather eat at Apollo Burger in Garden Grove. 2/5 stars for Charburger. It was small, no flavor with lettuces and 1 slice of tomato First time trying and probably last. 2/5 stars for French Fries. It felt like old fries and did not taste fresh at all. The inside is very spacious and clean. Staff was cordial. I LOVE the peppers/jalepenos bar. That's probably the best part of the Habit experience. : ) Parking - it's inside the big Culver shopping plaza so plenty of parking, especially at night.

"Tuesday evenings at this establishment are a masterclass in operational incompetence. To call the arrival process 'bad' is akin to describing a nuclear detonation as a 'slight disturbance.' It's an apocalyptic level of disorganization. Clearly, the staff are either woefully undertrained or actively sabotaging the customer experience. One suspects a bizarre performance art piece designed to test the limits of human patience. 'Multi-tasking' is apparently a foreign concept, a mythical skill lost to the ages within these walls. An hour. A full, agonizing hour, was squandered waiting for a simple order. An hour that could have been spent engaging in literally any other activity - staring at paint drying, listening to a dial-up modem connect, contemplating the existential dread of sentient dust bunnies - would have been a more fulfilling use of time. Avoid this place on Tuesdays, or any day, unless you have a masochistic desire to witness the absolute nadir of customer service."

I went in person on 2/21 at 6:30pm and ordered burgers, onion rings and salad to go. When I opened the salad box at home, a cockroach was moving around in it and ran out on top of the kitchen counter (pic attached). I've been to this location before but now I am not going to go back anymore. More effort needs to be put into keeping the kitchen and food clean.

Good cheeseburger and Santa Barbara burger and grilled cheese. Fast, friendly service.

I've been to only two, but what I found was a clean, well operated, pleasant staff place. I always get the hamburger with avocado on sourdough bread. Great price for a well stacked burger and ambiance. Spent a little more than a fast burger chain, but well worth it.

tl,dr: overpriced commodity. I came here just to buy a bottled drink. Unfortunately their only option was a water bottle which cost around $3.50. I'm disappointed in the lack of options and the exorbitance of their only option of the one thing I needed. I believe other fast food chains would at least have an apple juice or OJ as an alternative. Likes: + Straightforward, informative service. + Numerous parking lot entrances/exits. Makes for very smooth traffic flow.

Had to wait 20 minutes for just 2 burgers and they were over cooked like charcoal. No taste at all and no reaction when we said they were no good. Don't recommend and will never go again.

The atmosphere is excellent. The place is fast food but doesn't feel like fast food. They do this with a very warm and friendly dining area. Their choices are simple. The food is excellent. The service is good. You order and sit down. They will call you to come up and get your food. My only wish is for more low calorie items. I just love the Santa Barbara Char, but it is huge. Perfect to share with someone. I wish they had a light menu. The Habit is one of the best places around.

Waited over twenty minutes in the drive thru even though I was the only car there and didn't see anyone inside and then rushed home to feed my kid. We got 2 burgers and two fries and they forgot one of the burgers but I was still charged for it

When we got there, there was easy, accessible parking, and the restaurant was pretty empty but still very welcoming. The server that we ordered from was very nice, funny, and understanding, so very good service in general. There was some nice overhead lighting and comfy booths that really added to the overall ambience. We ordered a charburger w/ cheese, a beyond burger w/ cheese, fries, the tempura green beans, and a vanilla shake. Unfortunately, our order got messed up a bit and even though I ordered no grilled onions I still got them in my burger. Besides that little mishap, the food was really good. We recommend the tempura green beans, which are a very creative (and delicious!) addition to the menu. We also got ranch instead of ketchup, and though it's not for some, the ranch-fries combination was chef's kiss. The mikshake was a disappointment, though. It was much too thick and tasted like solid ice cream in a cup. Not very smooth at all! (By the time we got home, though, about 10 minutes later, it was a little better) All in all, going to Habit was a very enjoyable experience!

The habit has been a spot i've been going to for years - here is what you need to know about this location: 1. The food is pretty much the same as most corporate burger chains. The habit markets itself as quality however it's all made with low quality oils. 2. The service is quite slow or at least it was for us at this location. (20+minutes for 2 burgers is a crazy wait) It was so slow we had to check TWICE to ask if our to-go order was ready. Completely unacceptable as we were getting ready to leave for a flight. 3. The location is clean and well taken care of in a nice location. This is nice and appealing. Price is king and the prices are HORRENDOUS. For two burgers with cheese and ONE fry order it was $21.00 -- that is CRAZY. Still the same old burger - it's good I just can't justify it being $10.00/burger good tho. Staff was nice - no complaints there. However, once again no communication when an order was taking 20-30 mins to get out.

This is the worst Habit burger experience ever, never again. The boar manger oversees this spectacle should consider a new place of employment. This is the second time this happened to me at this location. Good bye franchising

A few months ago I saw that the habit was ranked #1 over in n out. I've always wanted to try the habit ...but for some reason never tried until last week. The Habit is my new favorite restaurant. I've already been there 4 times in a week. The double char is better than the double double... The patty is thicker and you can't beat the smoky taste of the chargrill. The ahi tuna was also really good. By far the best sandwich...the Santa Barbara char is to die for. The habit does cost a little more than in n out but its well worth.

I ordered the chicken club sandwich from my phone, chose the curbside pickup option. The order was delivered on time. The chicken club sandwich is perfect with toasted bread and just the right amount of bacon and avocado. It tastes so much better and fresher than the one from Chick-fil-A. Will order it again!!

Very underwhelmed with the burger and the french fries served cold. The people at the drive-through were unfriendly so check all your food. Make sure it's hot when you get it.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Habit Burger. Both of our burgers were undercooked and pink inside. also, the burgers were soggy and overall just bad. Definitely not worth the money.

Just can't go wrong with this place. From the burgers, specialty sandwiches, the salads and ooh those sweet potato fries. Special mention for the tempura green beans. This place is the perfect go to for quick good elevated fast food. Not to mention the prices are just right. This location has great friendly service.. even though close to a high school they keep the place clean and it's always a pleasant ambiance. Dont know anyone who hasn't had it. But if you haven't I highly recommend it!

I ordered drive through and the fries were raw! The pineapple tastes funny! The clerk did not know the ingredients of their drink!

I ordered Chicken club for to-go. We took out Tomato and add extra lettuce. They only put ONE lettuce. And Can you see that tiny avocado? I am very serious!!! They didn't put sliced avocado but 3 tiny cube avocado. Hahaha~~~ i think they need to train how to cut avocado for the sandwich. Or maybe they make money for not putting avocado a lot. This is $12+tax. My child stopped eating and said, "I can't understand how this was made," and showed it to me. So, I took a picture of the messy sandwich they had left half-eaten.She said that only 1 lettuce, 3 cube size avocado. This is worse than $7 sandwiches.

I like the food here but I'm really upset after my experience tonight. I'm 39 weeks pregnant, starving, and decided to order delivery. I wanted a charburger with cheese and mayo ONLY. My order arrives...and the charburger has EVERYTHING on it EXCEPT cheese and mayo. I am absolutely repulsed by pickles, and even taking them off the bun, I can still taste them! The receipt clearly says in caps: NO PICKLES, NO LETTUCE, NO ONIONS... this business specializes in making burgers. A mistake like this should not happen ?! I am sooo disappointed and this experience makes me never want to order food to go from here again.

The burgers are delicious. I also recommend the green beans. The salads are great, too. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered there. The prices are reasonable as well.

Good food and customer service Every time I walk in to the one on Culver. The young man is so polite.

Bomb burgers all day, my favorite one is the Teriyaki Char, the pineapple brings it all together. The best part of this chain is that they offer different bun options at no extra cost. Love their lemonade mixes and the option to get jalapeños and peppercioni at your preference.

Burgers ok, but old unsalted limp fries are a disappointment considering their prices. Order the fried green beans, never order their horrible fries.

Great food, quick service, store is well-kept and very nice workers! They do the promos too through the app which was great!!

I tried their veggie burger for the first time today, and I'll be getting it again. It is stacked with tomatoes, green leaf lettuce, cucumbers, onions, and a creamy green sauce. I felt much better eating this versus a meat patty. I've been reducing my meat intake, and I feel better all-around. Their mango shake is blissful. They top it with whip cream and mango purée!!!

My friends and I just love the Habit burgers! Why go to fast food when the price here is probably comparable while the taste excels and employees are welcoming and service is quick!

The food does not disappoint at all, always top notch. One thing that itches me is the workers sometimes giving me an attitude. However, most of the workers are very generous and kind.

I can't help but think the manager has some issues . The person who took my order was very courteous and detailed. Once my pager beeped I went to pick up my order and the manager lady set the tray down just as I arrived at the counter so were basically face to face . She didn't ask me if there was anything else I needed. She didn't go through my order pointing out everything as they typically do she just walked away. I had to stop her and ask if I could get a ranch for my onion rings , she grabbed a ranch and threw it on the tray and walked away. I don't understand the 3 stars. I really think the burgers here so delicious. I love In N Out but personally, I prefer coming here to indulge myself with the BBQ bacon (so crispy) burger. I just love their chili pepper bars that feature three different types. And the onion rings. I love it! In N Out has great burgers and fries, but they don't have the BBQ bacon burgers so to me, there's no comparison. They both serve my taste buds, depending on the day. I would definitely come back here if I'm on the Passive Phase of Thinsulin since the foods I like are all red light.

Went in for a double cheeseburger and was happy to see there was no one in line. Burger took almost 20 minutes regardless of the short wait to order. I approached the expediter, a man with a hair bun, to get the food and he quickly began to rewrap my burger as it had fallen apart. He also wasn't the most pleasant and didn't even smile, looked almost angry. I started to eat my burger which was delicious and realized I had ordered it on wheat but had received white bread. After waiting that long I just decided to eat and leave. Really a big fan of the HB location, hopefully next time will be better.

Today my friend and I took our 5 year olds to the Habit on Culver in Irvine. The cashier was very rude and unfriendly. We ordered 4 meals. As we were leaving my son asked for the gummy bears that come with the kids meal. I asked the cashier if we could have 2 for the kids. He again replied in a rude tone and said "the gummies here are limited and are just for the kids meals! Ok." I'm sure giving us a couple of gummy bears wouldn't have caused any financial distress to a restaurant such as The Habit. Even if he was just following protocol, he could have told us in a much more respectful tone. We'll never go back there again.

The hamburgers are always spot on, and the service (in regards to time waited for food) has improved tremendously. Years ago when I used to come here, the wait time would stretch on. The food was so good that I would wait, but it was difficult when I was strapped for time. These days, the food is prepared so quickly with the same caliber of quality that I'm blown away. The burgers are juicy and great paired with crisp fries or tempura green beans. Every employee that I've encountered at this location has greeted me with kindness and respect. I haven't eaten at the restaurant in some time because I'm usually in a bit of a rush, but from what I've observed, the tables and seats are well maintained and cleaned.

This place has a limited menu, which they do very very well. One of a few drive-through impossible burgers available. My kids love it! The shakes are fantastic.

I used to like Habit Burger. Never going to these establishments again. Don't ever use the app, a waste of time. Don't even bother trying to call the restaurant because they won't connect you and if they do they'll just hang up. It's highly rude and inconsiderate because you can't even call them back if it happened to be a mistake. It's okay though they won't even care because "They're too busy" for one person's order.

In n out has long been called the best fast food burger, but I beg to differ! The Habit always has the best burgers ever, even better than many high end restaurants that overcomplicate flavors. The teriyaki char is my favorite, with white American cheese. The onions and pineapple are a delicious combination. I've gone to many habit burgers but this location always has friendly employees and plenty of seating. You can order half and half onion rings and fries even though it's not listed on the menu.

After two weeks abroad, we were craving a good ole American burger. Ordered two teriyaki burgers. One didn't have sauce on it. Overall the one with sauce I'd give it a 3.5. Just a normal tasting burger. The one without sauce. Maybe 2.5. Craving burgers again and this place is really close and convenient so thought we'd try again. We ordered for curbside pick up. It said it was ready so we parked and clicked on the link to notify them. 20 minutes later they didn't come so we called them. They picked up and hung up the phone without talking and then wouldn't pick up the phone again. We still can't seem to reach anyone to cancel the order

Multiple employees ignored us when we asked for the extra ranch which we paid 60c for. Horrible customer service. As a long time Habit customer, I am shocked by this experience. Will not be returning to this location

You should not wait so long to get your awesome burger , also consider to try BBQ chicken salad!

Placed a phone order. Double checked prior to pick-up, discovered order was not correct. Phoned back, informed to contact local manger, who subsequently informed me to contact corporate. I had ordered three items, was charged for 7. Using Habit Burger contact form, tried twice. No answer. Phoned once, never returned call. No problem with local franchise, but corporate entirely different matter. We will not return.

Love every bit. Practically grew up eating here. Burgers are so juicy, fries have perfect amount of salt, the strawberry limemade is addicting. Service is relatively quick, always super clean, and always a great place to go to. 10/10.

Ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich and it was not even close to the picture. Picture shows a whole piece of chicken with full slices of bacon. What I actually got was diced chicken and some cut up pieces of bacon and a thin layer of guacamole. It kind of looked like they ran out of chicken and bacon so they had to cut it up in pieces to fulfill the order. Waste of money and false advertisement. $12 for this sandwich? Ripoff!!!!!

Food is always good here. I attend at irvine high which is a close walk from campus, i come in a lot during my lunch with my friends. theyre always rude and giving me dirty looks so i avoid them and order at the kiosk. they never give cups for water, and i know people normally get soda but i just want a water, and everyone cant spend 3.50 for a fountain drink. i have to resort asking an adult to get me a cup for watee because they always tell the students they dont have any, but to the adults they do. completely outrageous how other individuals get treated differently. dont base your poor judgement on everyone just because were all in high school.
