I came to this place because I hear great things about this chef. In the beginning of our experience, everything was delightful. It felt like we were well looked after without having to turn our heads once. Elizabeth gave wonderful recommendations, and the table side steak tartare was a unique experience. With that said, it seemed that as our meals came closer towards the end, it felt the same happened with the service for our table. It took more than 25 minutes just to bring a dessert menu, and to top it off, a meal we ordered never arrived…When Elizabeth finally came to our table to take dessert order, I let her know of the forgotten order, and it seemed as if she were more nonchalant about the mistake, rather than wanting to rectify the situation. Maybe it’s because the restaurant was getting busy, and she was in the weeds? Either way, I think for a restaurant coming from a Michelin star chef, you’d think that whoever is hired can handle a busy restaurant. But anyway, the food was delicious, but the service made the experience less enjoyable, especially with it being my Birthday while visiting Valencia. It was a nice gesture that they brought a complimentary cake with a candle, but it kind of felt that that only happened because it took so long for them to come take a dessset ordered, so we didn’t want one any more.
But anyway…good food. Worth a try.
