The chicken teriyaki is very good. I have been here for many years. But the thai ice tea is very bad. Doesn’t taste like thai tea. So milky and too sweet even I order less sweet. It’s 8 dollars thai ice tea. Crazy experience. I had to throw it away. They use to have the best thai tea many years ago but they changed it to the tea powder 🤢

I got the breakfast spam egg rice plate. Hard to mess up the taste, this wasn’t good or bad. Also got two side orders of white rice for $3.25 each and that’s why I’m writing this review. Not sure if this was a fluke, but each side was around 3.5 big scoops of rice (roughly one quart)! I’m always hungry and kinda cheap. I don’t want to pay a lot and I want something that keeps me full but won’t upset my stomach. So I’m happy with the ton of white rice I got. If Hachi-Ko staff read this, you gotta figure out your customer flow because it’s terrible. Waiting after ordering, then picking up and leaving was one of my worst food-line experiences ever. There’s no space and you’d have to push/squeeze past the diners. I didn’t subtract stars because it wasn’t crowded when I went, but come on gang, do better.

Google
If flavors what you're looking for this is not it,... Canned dog food would have improved this, I was so craving Curry in the picture delicious highly extremely disappointed. The rice was mushy, meat was flavorless, it was thinly shaved but microwaved and stuck together in a chuck

Google
Decent Teriyaki place down towards the end of the C Gates in SeaTac Airport. I have had a quick bite here multiple times when flying through. Convenient for most Alaska Airlines layovers. My wife is gluten-free and has never had a problem eating the Teriyaki. Seating is limited, as in most of the dining options in that area of SeaTac.

Google
I guess I should have read the reviews first. I have never eaten here, just happen to be at the airport (obviously). The pictures look much better than the food, I'll tell you that much. I got the teriyaki beef with noodles. Probably the worst teriyaki beef I've ever had. Not exactly sure what this is, but definitely from the bottom of the barrel.

Google
Very delicious chicken Katsu, good size and comes with yummy salad. I ordered a matcha milk tea with tapioca boba and only after I had paid told me they didn’t have tapioca so they gave me an alternative to it. The drink was delicious, I have sensory issues so the alternative crystal boba wasn’t as enjoyable as it could be. Overall a delicious place and wonderful service they were very apologetic and kind. Also a fun fact: Hachiko was an Akita Inu, not a husky. Beautiful and heart wrenching story if you ever (and you should) look him up. Cheers!

Google
I ordered the curry with chicken katsu. The food came out hot and quick. Thr curry was okay, but thr katsu was very crispy and fresh. Also gave me plenty of rice. Definitely recommend this place if you're hungry.

Cole & Sami Parker

Google
Not sure how the food is, but do not recommend the boba from Hachiko. I love boba, but their boba itself was not cooked or flavored well. The milk tea was bland and tasted watered down. Skip this one next time you’re in SeaTac

Yelp
For airport food, I thought the curry that I ordered was delicious. It's a given that airport food is generally expensive but if you're hungry, you'll just have to pick whatever that's worth the price and possibly the line. I've only stopped by the Seattle-Tacoma airport a few times but it was a first for me to run into Hachi-ko since I've never been near this gate. I feel like most of the options I pass by in airports offer American food like sandwiches or coffee which is convenient but when I'm starving, I want something more appetizing and reminds me of home so when I see Asian food, I gravitate towards it. The curry is nothing like restaurant quality and actually reminds me of the Golden Curry brand that you can buy from Asian grocery stores. But when you're in an unfamiliar place far from home, there's just something about eating nostalgic Asian food that is comforting. I devoured this immediately as soon as I found a table to sit at. If you happen to want some Asian food and you're around this area at the airport, I would say this is a good place to stop by to get your Asian food fix before you hop on a plane.

Yelp
It's located around gate c. I went on a Tuesday night around 6:30pm. The airport was relatively quiet. The service was quick and the menu is extensive. They have a grab and go which looks very similar to other grab and go around the airport. They seems to specialize in teriyaki. Expect to spend $20+. Has a large assortment of drinks. The wait was short, and they pack the box. I ended up with a yakitori and they pack it. I had to pay extra for chicken, you pay less for no meat. Personally I could share this or make two meals out of it. Quality is decent, isn't a high end restaurant quality. Kind of Costco frozen noodles quality. The chicken is great. I'm definitely this my go to when I'm around gate c

Yelp
Terrible food I ordered the beef fried rice and here is what I got: steamed rice, mixed with frozen peas chopped carrots, and green onions doused in teriyaki sauce and then topped with beef lunch meat and more teriyaki sauce. It was HORRIBLE and cost me $17 plus tax and tip! Insane! Yuck! Service was great. Workers were very nice.

Wina G.

Yelp
Came off the plane starving at C concourse and this was one one the first I saw. Never let your stomach make decisions for you. There's a small area for bar seating and I wanted to sit down. They serve Hawaiian style plate lunch as well as udon and musubi. I got the teri beef and chicken combo and requested the sauce on the side. Good thing because the food was SALTY! I have a bit of headache and drinking water like a horse. Not good because I have another flight to catch and I tend to swell. It's a big at first glance. There was no way I could finish it. There was rice underneath the large portion of beef and chicken. Also came with green salad. It was okay. I liked the chicken better. And the rice was mushy. Coming from Hawaii, I have standards for plate lunch and this didn't make it. I paid $20 with tax and tip.

Don G.

Yelp
Fast, hot, food with that classic sweet teriyaki sauce that pleases the palate. Friendly greeting with a 10% discount for airline employees. There's nothing quite like seeing a smiling husky to put you in that happy place. Served up with a smile! Mahalo!

Linda H.

Yelp
Not many options to sit but food is good for a quick bite. The udon was good for something quick and simple. Its a cold day so it hit the spot. A little pricey but we are in the airport.

Jordan B.

Yelp
Wow. I really really wanted to like this place it's fun and cute. But the prices are disgusting. I just got back from Japan, and am waiting for my next flight to go home, and I can get the chicken katsu there in a larger portion for $4.00, to charge 19.00 for that it's absolutely criminal. Not to mention the katsu was way overcooked. The salad was slimy as well. The katsu sauce was SO strong, almost couldn't use it. My boba tea tasted like straight chemicals or cleaner.... The staff were friendly, they were great. That's the only reason it has one star. So disappointed on so many levels. Let's be realistic about food prices and quality. Come on.

Hokuloa B.

Yelp
The taro milk tea really tasted of taro and the 50% was perfect!:) The staff were really quick with taking my order and were adorable singing. If I hadn't just eaten at Beechers I would have ordered the spam, eggs, and rice!

Connie C.

Yelp
Definitely not a fan of bait and switch tactics. Ordered and paid for beef teriyaki but 10 minutes later said they were out and had a 30 min wait.... our I could have chicken teriyaki now. I'm in an airport so of course I don't have 30 minutes. I took the chicken. The menu said it's $2.50 cheaper so asked for the refund. They wouldn't give it to me and said it was "the same price". Also paid $1.25 more for brown rice and got white instead. Again, I'm not a fan of dishonest businesses.... the menu price is clearly different.

Tawny V.

Yelp
Late post Sept 23' Hachi Ko offers reasonably priced Japanese/ Hawaiian food such as; katsu, spam musubi, Udon, teriyaki, sushi, goyza, Portuguese sausage breakfast and so much more. Located at Sea-Tac in the Alaska Airlines terminal. The customer service was great! Ordered the Sushi, which was fresh and the Katsu also delicious and thankfully hot! Katsu sauce needs work, yes it was that bad (missing a star)

X G.

Yelp
Hey Hachiko! You are an Asian café located in metro SEATTLE! For god's sake, why don't you offer vegetarian teriyaki (ya know, with tofu and veggies). Add it to your menu, please! It will sell lots of you include nice veggies. Seattle is one of the country's biggest vegetarian-forward cities. Wake up! Also, stop running out of boba. Vegheads and anti-dead-flesh-eaters, you CAN get tofu yakisoba, but that is it. Lame, lame, lame. Nice staff, fun taro smoothies. Hachi-ko, want me to spend money at your resto? Then act like you care and offer a veg teriyaki. Anything else is lazy, stupid and offensive. PS- meat is murder and terrible for our environment. Let's give the non-human animals a little slaughter brake ;-)

Constructive C.

Yelp
Picked up my sushi and enjoyed it. Then I used the restroom and the person next to me used the bathroom didn't wash their hands and then proceeded to pick their nose while walking back to work. When you wear branded uniforms and perform disgusting acts, you should be mindful of that while preparing food for others.

Dan H.

Yelp
This is a grab to go place in the airport. Service was fast. Ordered a Thai iced tea with boba, the tea was extremely sweet despite asking for 50% sweetness. The tapioca was brittle and soft, lacking flavor. The whole thing was very artificial. Do not recommend.

Katherine S.

Yelp
I've worked out of Seatac for over 7 years as well as this has been my home airport my whole life, so I'm very familiar with the restaurants. Hachiko is tasty, but so expensive for what you get. This is the chicken teriyaki. Much smaller portion than a standard teriyaki restaurant and more expensive. It is tasty, but I only can give 3 stars because the value is so poor.

Jane M.

Yelp
We are talking about an airport restaurant here, don't forget. I was so delighted to see I could get Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice at the airport that I walked to a distant gate to eat there. Worth it. The sausage is very good. Eggs okay, good for airport standards. Rice wasn't garlicky enough, but it wasn't cooked horribly which is miraculous for an airport. In short, a yum Filipino breakfast that easily outshines usual airport fare in both choice and quality.

Kyle C.

Yelp
This joint was great! The chicken teriyaki was on par and the rice was fresh and sticky. The -2 stars is due to their lack of customer service. The lady behind the register must've had peepee cheerios for breakfast because she was mean as hail! I'd come back tho just cause the line was non-existent and the food came out within 5 minutes. Still sour about her meaniebobeanieness tho :(

Marcus O.

Yelp
It's so good! I really like the chicken katsu. And their boba drinks are fantastic. So thankful they are in SeaTac for layovers.

Susan C.

Yelp
Came in here to pick up lunch before boarding my flight. It's 12:30 on a Tuesday. There was a line of people waiting for their food and a line of people waiting to order. I was mildly concerned that they were too busy to get my hot food order ready but it was ready in less than 10 mins. It was hot, super hot. My order was cooked to order and it was delicious! My chicken yakisoba noodles had plenty of chicken, noodles and veggies. It was exactly what was on the picture on their menu. I used both packets of hot sauce. I wanted lots of veggies and this had loads! Will be back the next time I'm at SEA.

Aimee L.

Yelp
Hachi-ko is back with a full kitchen. Seatac is one of the few airports I've visited that are extremely eco-sensitive to what people take their food out in. This SEA favorite was one of the last holdouts so it's no real surprise that all their takeout containers are now unprinted paper with compostable utensils. There's a price associated with it, of course, but who visits an airport looking for bargains? More important to me was whether the recipes changed and I'm happy to say they're pretty much the same. Generous amounts of their signature grilled teriyaki chicken dot the fried rice or the yakisoba. The noodles feature a touch of cumin which I don't remember but may have very well been there before. A decent amount of vegetables, too. I ordered rice on my way to my final destination and noodles on the way home. I wasn't at all disappointed and now my eco-conscience is clean too!

Michael A.

Yelp
An OK place to eat at. Prices can be high for the amount of food you get. Service is alright. Taste-wise and quality is so-so. Tried this a couple of times, so nothing too special to rave about inside the Sea-Tac Airport. You'll have some Hawaiian and Japanese food choices to choose from.

Rohan D.

Yelp
Better than other choices around here, but kind of typical of airport food in that it's overpriced and the workers are disinterested at best. I did like having spam musubi as a choice but it's nowhere near as good as any 7-11's in Hawai'i. The Yakisoba is about at the level you'd make for yourself at home from an instant package.

Wendi K.

Yelp
Love that this spot exists in Seatac :) They have fresh, healthy, affordable options in the grab-n-go like poke, sushi, wraps. They also have a electronic checkout for a quick checkout! The Chicken Teriyaki wrap ($10.95) was great! Wish it came with sauce or something.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Hachi-ko is located in the C terminal after gate 8, across from Starbucks. The menu looked great, and I ordered the Hachi-ko bento combination with beef and chicken teriyaki along with salad and 3 potstickers. It took about 3 minutes to serve the combo, but the young lady behind the counter ended up giving me the wrong order. She had to chase me down and retrieve the meal. The combo was pretty good for airport kiosk food. Portions were generous, and I liked the potsticker sauce that was included with the meal. I also would note I am partial to Akita movies.

Christopher S.

Yelp
SEA INT'L AIRPORT TERMINAL C / ASIAN / 10-14-22 / DINNER +The food portions are bigger than the other eating options within the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. -The dumplings are pre-fried and flash fried again to warm it up, so expect a crispy dark brown shell with a string grease flavor. -There was a little foreign, old white piece of chicken in the greens salad; see my attached pics. -The restaurant is not well-kept, which explains the random crap in my entree. -The side salad veggies were wilted and definitely going bad. -The bags of chips and other snacks in front of the register were covered in grease. If you have time, just walk around and explore the end terminals (N or A), or just pick a spot in the main food court area (right after security) for your airport meal. I only came here because the Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen (N gates) line was extraordinarily long at 8:00 P.M. and a lot of the other places were closed; i.e., Beecher's.

Christine N.

Yelp
3.5 Service or lady taking order was kind of rude. But as long as she gets the job done and doesn't mess up - works for me as a lot of us are probably just grabbing a quick bite to eat in the airport. Udon with chicken was decent! Soup had flavor with the chili flakes. Chicken is a little stringy texture. Would stop here for quick eat. They have a fridge with cold foods to that is grab and go.

Emily C.

Yelp
Airport food is never my preference with the expensive prices and subpar food. As I was walking through the area near my gate, I found that Hachi-ko looked like one of the better options. They offer Japanese food, including some Hawaiian items but since it was night time and they were closing soon, the only option left was chicken teriyaki, which I didn't mind. I ended up getting the chicken teriyaki combo with extra chicken. The combo came with rice, a side salad, and 3 gyozas. The rice was on the soft side, which is actually how I prefer it. The gyoza was done nicely but the chicken teriyaki was surprisingly good for airport food. It was tender pieces of dark meat that had a nice grill flavor and covered in teriyaki sauce. Not a bad option for an airport meal! Will keep you nice and full too.

Robert M.

Yelp
I see the mixed reviews here, and I am more on the "this is fine" side of the curve. First, I really appreciate that in the Sea-Tac airport, there are Japanese food options, like this location. You'll find some Hawaiian classics here also. I enjoyed the portion sizes here. You'll get plenty of rice with your teriyaki bowls. The food didn't feel very "teriyaki", more like "stewed", but it was tasty enough. The salad here was amazing. The Bento boxes looked great. The pricing was great for an airport location, especially given the portions. Service was very prompt/disinterested, but they do have kiosks here so that you can order with low interaction. Sometimes the kiosks do not work. There is a small area for seating inside the restaurant, which is clean, but I think it is likely that most people here get their food to go.

Lea m.

Yelp
Great find at the airport, portugeuse sausage rtice and eggs hit! I hope this place never leaves the airport! A must! So thankful for all day breakfast!

Ashley W.

Yelp
Absolutely DISGUSTING excuse for food. Not well organized at all. We were desperate and decided to give this airport kiosk a chance. Wrong decision. We would have been better off to stay desperate. My "food" went into the trash.

Frank L.

Yelp
First time traveling since Covid 2.5 years later and its the good ole familiar Alaska terminal and discover the formerly Waji's to now be Hachi-Ko! 7am flight, which means 5am wake up. Hungry, thirsty, I see the Podagee Sausage Eggs n Rice and say perfect! Was totally expecting the same type or pre-cooked style that Uwajimaya has at its stores but this was cooked fresh on the spot! Rice, eggs, sausage all hot off the stove like at home! Rice was tooooo sticky (appreciate the effort to be Hawaii style rice tho). Sausage were big and plump, eggs were plentiful. Make sure to get shoyu and you're good to go! The whole meal was way bigger then it looks! Could almost feed two people! $10.95 super fair price for usually expensive bland airport food. For the price, quality of eggs and sausage, the quantity, and the TEMPERATURE, easy 5 stars and much appreciated at 6am!!! I didn't see if it was only served during "breakfast hours" but if not, this is the perfect meal coming off a flight also!

Robert A.

Yelp
They served me half cooked teriyaki beef. One side hot, and one the other cold. Like WTH? I had the same experience two years ago from this terminal restaurant. They deserve the two stars. The kitchen staff needs to stop cutting corners.

Devin F.

Yelp
For airport food Hacki-ko was phenomenal. They were quick, affordable, and delicious. Ordering was easy and the portion size matches the price you pay.

Sophia S.

Yelp
I was glad to have this option at the airport for breakfast. It was filling and the price was fair for it. The eggs were a bit too salty for me though. Honestly their water price was good too. Sad to say most times I feel the bottled water price at the airport is around $4 but here it was just $2. Anyway if I have to kill time again before a flight and am hungry i would try this place again.

Ruth W.

Yelp
I will be your Hachi-Ko! Every time I am in the C terminal of the Sea-Tac airport, I will be coming for your chicken teriyaki entree. The chicken was moist and the teriyaki glaze was fabulous. True, this is a mostly to-go, on-the-go eatery but this chicken teriyaki is really good. The white rice was a little over-cooked but I usually don't eat much rice so its ok. The greens and salad dressing were good too. There was plenty of food so the price didn't frustrate me. For a fast food type place, 4-stars. I will truly come back again next time my travels take me through Sea-Tac.

Debbie P.

Yelp
Re-post from my Waji's Review, since it's basically the same... This is my go-to food place at Sea-Tac when I don't have access to the airline lounges.  Plus it's one of the only places that serves food I grew up with.  Spam musubi?!  Yes, please!  Portuguese Sausage?!  Yes, please?!  Chicken or pork adobo?!  Yes, yes yes!   I usually fly out the A or South Satellite gates, but once I clear TSA, I bee-line my way to the end of the C gates straight to Hachi-ko to get my rice fix.  Sometimes I'll just pick up a bunch of Spam musubi to take on my trips with me, it's a great portable snack and when I'm going to destinations where I know I won't find decent meals, it fits the bill.   It's not the best island/Filipino food I've had, but it's consistent and I appreciate that.  Plus it's affordable for airport prices and I walk away satisfied and full.

Melissa R.

Yelp
The food was delicious and fresh, I had a teriyaki beef & chicken combo. It came with rice, salad & gyoza. It was all extremely yummy! The gyoza was crisp & made well & came with 2 different sauces. The beef was super tender & the chicken lean. Even the rice was cooked well. The portions were great too. I also had a milk tea with boba. It was ok but the boba was a bit mushy. The service was just ok. I didn't hear the server tell me they were out of Thai tea & when I ordered it she gave me the most sour look. Customer service could use a little help but overall it was a decent experience and the food was worth it. If I have the opportunity again in the future I will eat there again.

Ellie D.

Yelp
I went in with low expectations and left with even lower ones. I thought Udon would be a hard dish to do poorly, being mostly broth, but this one lacked flavor. The chicken was also pretty bad with occasional chunks that just didn't taste good at all. Maybe this place does better with their other dishes but I don't think I'll try them again next time I'm in this airport.

Heidi H.

Yelp
I cannot recommend the garden roll or veggie spring rolls I just purchased. The carrots were drying out in both and looked like they'd been pulled out of a bag of half dried shredded carrots. The rice in the garden rolls did not seem to have any seasoning and the cucumber was just a chunk in each roll. The spring rolls were coming apart and pieces of them were dried and crunchy.

H A.

Yelp
Months waiting for the hot food kitchen to open after the remodel, and today I finally had the opportunity to try their Beef Yokisoba, one of my favorite dishes from them, again. Unfortunately, seems either they changed the recipe or the kitchen staff, as it's nothing compared to what it used to be. Noodles dont have the flavor they used to. Are actually pretty much tasteless. Portion is smaller. And they no longer offer the fried egg on top option (a true Japanese classic). I had come over and over for this great dish before their remodel, but with the new version, despite the prettier location, I dont think will come back. Very unfortunate.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Just got off a early morning flight and was looking for some Asian food to eat. I ordered the chicken fried rice on a whim. They actually give a huge portion. Probably enough to feed two medium appetites. The first few bites were very pleasing, but as I continued eating the flavors were drowned out and had to add soy sauce to keep it interesting. Also, the amount of vegetables in here is more than I would like and probably contributes to the drowning of flavors. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I will probably try other places first the next time I fly through here.

Adrienne D.

Yelp
My heart was simply over joyed to see a Filipino dish on the menu. I got lucky that our gate was near this spot. I ordered the Chicken Adobo and some shrimp spring rolls. As a Filipino, the Chicken Adobo was pretty much perfect.. I come from York city where there isn't any Filipino restaurants so yea. Lol. The spring roll wraps were not super fresh (wrapper was stiff) but it was still ok. Big portions. Loved it

Christopher H.

Yelp
I needed a quick food option so I grabbed some California rolls for the flight. Like most airport food it was mediocre - the rice was a bit stale from the pre-packaging but otherwise it was fine. Very convenient in-flight meal since it isn't very messy or smelly.

Kim N.

Yelp
I wanted something soupy after the flight and this was my choice. It was what I was looking for. The flavor was rich. They gave us a lot of broth. I was caught off guard with the spiciness though. There was no indication on the menu that it's spicy. I think they should give us a warning for non-spicy eaters.

Michael M.

Yelp
Hachi-ko changed my expectations of airport food. Asian comfort foods galore, with teriyaki beef or chicken, katsu, shrimp tempura, udon, salmon, Portuguese sausage or Spam and eggs, gotta, egg rolls, sushi, and poke all in one place?! I'd come to SeaTac more often knowing this place is in the Alaska Airlines terminal. I didn't bother considering the poke, as I mention in all of my Hawaiian food reviews, poke outside of Hawai'i is usually/actually a salad. The workers come across as brusque, but they really want to make sure that you get your food in a timely manner, as everything is made fresh and to order. I had the teriyaki salmon combo, which is grilled slowly (they warn you) and comes with either egg rolls or gyoza (take these!) and a drink.

David S.

Yelp
if I could pick zero stars I would. absolutely horrible food. I tried the shrimp spring roll and it was insulting to call it edible. 10 cents of lettuce to bulk it out, a spoon full of tasteless rice/noodles and the three strips of mystery fish with pink coloring that unsuccessfully tried to imitate a shrimp. These folks need to be out of business, waste of retail space. Location next to gate C10F Several shoes less that 30 seconds away with real food offerings.

Angel A.

Yelp
Don't do it! Waste of money and time! Grabbed what I thought would be a quick bite to eat from this airport location before catching a flight and they disappointed me. Not only did the food not look good or desirable but it was terrible. I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Combo which was a special that was advertised near the register. The rice was a mushy mess, the garden salad was hot and the salmon was undercooked, pink, and lacked flavor. I was very disappointed with the food. Customer service was good however the wait time of 7-10 minutes was more like 15.

Alex B.

Yelp
Food was okay but service was non existent. Workers don't smile. Si Ate ay hindi magkakaasawa. Sungit. Needs to have a friendlier atmosphere.

Jayson W.

Yelp
I ordered a meal before my flight with my Wife to San Diego, since the flight is too short for in flight meals, I decided to look for somewhere to eat, and found Hachi-Ko! I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice! The texture of the Chicken was flawless, had a little char on it as well, just how I like it! The vegetables and the rice were cooked to perfection as well. They have onions, green onions, celery, broccoli, carrots, egg, and bok choy included in the dish! All of the tastes meshed extremely well, I highly recommend this location in the C Gate area, through Alaska Airlines.

Michael J.

Yelp
For a plan E to eat in an Airport, I was impressed. I ordered the beef Yakisoba and it was awesome! For $15 I had a great meal. If you are looking for something tasty and different, give this place a try. I will make sure I grab a bite the next time I'm here.
