25 Manhattan Restaurants With Heated Outdoor Dining - Eater NY

"Following a winter ramen pop-up, longstanding UWS staple Good Enough to Eat has built out a permanent restaurant next door called Hachi Maki. The sushi and ramen spot is taking over the same space where the pop-up was housed, and will also offer heated outdoor seating in a covered roadside setup. The menu features a wide range of temaki sets and a handful of ramen options carried over from the pop-up." - Tanay Warerkar, Eater Staff

New establishment. Good deal for tuna sushi bomb during happy hour. Classic hand roll set is good too.

Amazing new UWS restaurant!! Highly recommend the spicy set of hand rolls and the Tokyo drift cocktail!

Lovely new addition to the neighborhood. We had the Agedashi Tofu, Shoyu and Miso Ramen. Everything was very tasty. Looking forward to trying their drinks next time!

I've only been here for the happy hour (a few times...), but if you're in the area between 4-6PM, it's worth stopping by. The $1 sushi bombs (I'm sure that this deal won't last indefinitely) are a real treat, as are most items on the tapas menu.

The food is a little overpriced for what it is, even considering the neighborhood. Agree with the other review that the taco sushi seems just like a quick way to prepare sushi ingredients without actually having to roll it up. It’s unique, but really just makes for a messier experience. Very friendly staff though!

Went on a Tuesday night with my kids under the age of 6 (both LOVE sushi and ramen). The happy hour specials are great: sushikins, karaage, furikake chips were a hit. The ramen was balanced, had good broth, and the noodles had a good bite. We had the tuna temaki-very tasty. For those eating temaki for the first time- try rolling into the classical cone shape. This helps to keep all the bits inside. We all shared the yuzu cream puff for dessert and it was very refreshing and tasty. We will be back for sure.

We found the food to be overall sub standard. The noodles in the Ramen were spaghetti noodles. The taco sushi is just a quick way to prepare a taco shaped piece of seaweed with raw fish in it the only thing we really liked we the home made potato were excellent but not very Japanese

Friendly service, nice outdoor seating area. Lots of fun cocktail options, which are $9 during Happy Hour! All the other HH snacks are really tasty - the sushi bombs, karage, and furikake fries. Great addition to the neighborhood!
