My Son and Daughter-in-law were married here May 30, 2024. The entire 3 day event was magical. The Inn and grounds are quaint and beautiful. The friendly and competent staff were extremely attentive and cheerfully met our every request. We enjoyed delicious gourmet meals while interacting with Chef Carter and learning all about how this venue came to be. Lisa and the staff made this the most fun, stress free wedding I have ever been involved with. If you are looking for a classy rustic venue this is it! A well kept secret near Nashville.

The pictures on their website do NOT do it justice. It is a magical woodland fairy wonderland. When you pull in, it seems 'meh' but then as you go deeper and deeper into the property, it sweeps you away. At all the other wedding venue tours, it was clear that we had to hurry bc another couple was coming but at Hachland, Lisa made us feel like she was waiting only for us all day. She took her time and showed us the entire property including overnight rooms. We loved it and the inclusive package was everything we wanted.

Dream Venue - Peaceful, Unique, Beyond Gorgeous, Awesome We had our Winter Wedding here on 2/29/2024 - beyond blessed with our experience! We planned and booked this venue four years prior and we had the first winter wedding. We visited a few times over the years in all seasons and everytime the venue was so well maintained and a showpiece. The staff was awesome and understanding of adjustments (heaters...lol) Menu choices and actual food was YUMMY... we got the cookbook 'The Hachland Hill Cookbook: The Recipes & Legacy of Phila Hach' and it was so unique to see the stories and recipes alive in the venue. We rented the Spring Creek Inn and was happy to have that as an oasis from the planning and doings that goes into the wedding day. Yes the decor was dated, but that is exactly what I expected with a rustic venue with cabin/wood/historical features. The nature and scenic backdrop that is always surrounding you is magical. My groom/hubby is a hunter at heart... I jokingly said I put him in the middle of a deer stand with all the fixings of a wedding for me. I truly can't say enough about this venue... Hachland Hill made our wedding day perfect and memorable. 10/10 recommend **Note: when looking at pics remember that it was a February wedding... the place is even more stunning is Spring, Summer, and Fall**

I got married here in September and everything was more perfect than I could have dreamed. The team at Hachland was so accommodating and made sure that each and every detail was perfect for us. We stayed on property for 3 nights with our families and wedding party, and everyone raved about the scenery as well as the delicious food. We held our rehearsal dinner on the property, and could not have had a better time. Wedding guests reached out to us weeks after the reception to tell us that the food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. The team even prepared a special private meal for my husband and I to eat while our guests were enjoying cocktail hour and set up a beautiful table in the Spring Creek house. Absolutely worth a visit. Hachland cares about every detail of your event as if they were planning something for their own family. We will definitely be back! Cannot recommend this place enough.

I am a wedding photographer and travel frequently for work. I stayed here with the bridal party of one of my couples that was getting married on the property and I have to say this was probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed but yet one of the most uncomfortable places I have ever slept in. I stayed in room 4 at the Stone Creek Inn and you can tell that this Inn gets the least amount of love on property. The photos you'll find on their website are NOT of Stone Creek which feels a bit like false advertising. This room has a patio attached with the most beautiful views, however there were no curtains on these doors. I think even a nice cream sheer curtain would work well in there... it just needed something. The mattress had to have been at least 10-20years old, the pillows were old and flat, and it was overall so uncomfortable and I barely slept the entire weekend, I even contemplated going somewhere else and throwing away the money spent on this property. This could have been such a relaxing weekend but I went home feeling more exhausted than when I arrived. Also wanted to note that the sink in my bathroom would not drain (the lift rod for the drain was broken). AND before I settled on this room, (I had the choice between 2 and 4), I went into room 2 and there was a huge patch of mold on the ceiling. Beautiful property but for the price point, incredibly disappointed with the rooms. This property needs a refresh asap. You can still keep that cabin charm, while adding some modern or fresh touches.

We got married at Hachland in Sept 2023 and I honestly can’t even begin to express how incredible our wedding was. The property feels truly magical and as though you’re stepping into another world. The beauty of the property itself serves as so much of the decoration for the day. I loved that I felt like all we really needed to do was accent and highlight the natural beauty around us with lights and flowers. There are creeks flowing, old charming inns, hiking trails, suspension bridges over the creeks, owls in the trees at night, beautiful birds in the day. If all the beauty and charm of the place isn’t enough, the staff who owns and runs Hachland is truly next level. We immediately felt the care and comfort that comes from working with a family run establishment. The Hach family takes so much pride in this place, in the events they put on, and the food they serve. This care is so evident in all the staff who work there as well. We had our immediate family and wedding parties stay on site in the inns with us, which was so special as we got to see them so much more during the weekend than if we had all been staying apart at hotels etc. We all woke up each morning to an extraordinary home cooked breakfast at the main inn and got to talk, laugh and catch up in the dining room before getting ready and starting the wedding preparations. Having breakfast there with our families the day after the wedding was the perfect little goodbye and send off. The Hachland team worked flawlessly with our planners (who were recommended to us by Hachland) and all of our other vendors. The whole team did an outstanding job of letting me be a guest at, and enjoy my wedding weekend. I wanted a weekend that felt special, meaningful, and was as slow and as non-stressful as possible. Hachland and the whole team made that happen for us. We wanted a venue that we could have for the whole weekend, and a place where our friends and family could gather since this was a destination wedding, and Hachland was so perfect for just that. We did our rehearsal dinner there Friday night outdoors on the patio under the twinkle lights and the Hachland team knocked it out of the park regarding food, decor and planning. It was such a special memorable night. The food that was served at our wedding is still being raved about by our guests. I realize I’m a bit biased, but it was truly the best food I’ve had at a wedding. I felt like we all got to leave “the real world” for a weekend and bask in family, love, friendship, incredible food, and dancing the night away. The Hach family and all of the Hachland staff gave us the most amazing wedding weekend that was beyond our wildest dreams, thank you all!

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception here in April, and we and our wedding guests stayed at the inns onsite. This was the first venue we toured, we contracted the same day, and we are very happy that we did. Rachel, our venue coordinator, was incredible to work with and we enjoyed spending the weekend with her and the Hachland team. She helped us plan for exactly what we wanted, and was up front about making sure we understood any impacts to our cost. The wooded grounds with natural spring-fed creeks are beautiful and our guests enjoyed spending the weekend there with us. It was the perfect wedding weekend and exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend!

Not handicap accessible at all. The only way to access the downstairs back patio area where the event was is to either walk down a hill or a flight of stairs. Then you need to walk back upstairs to get to the dining room. Not conducive for someone who cannot get around well.

Area: We stayed here for a wedding and the area is beautiful. The wedding was held down by the creek and it was even more pretty down there. The creek runs along the house and the barn in the back. There are some trails but we did not have time go through them. Room: We stayed in the room called " the School House" the room was spacious and warm that was good due to having our dogs. The bed was a king size and it was very comfortable. There was good water pressure for the shower although I would change the shower head to a water saver with a hose. The room had a great picture window to see out. It was very clean and well kept. Really nice room. Food: The food was ok not terrific but the coffee was great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I don't know what the rooms cost due to it was paid by a family member so I cant say if it was worth the price or not.

Hachland Hill was the best most beautiful venue we could've ever hoped for. Our friends and family said it felt like we were in another world. Sally and Carter were so patient and communicative the entire 2 years of planning it took us. We had to postpone because of Covid once but they made the process as smooth as possible. Wedding planning is SO stressful but I really appreciated how responsive they were, always answering emails right away and on top of everything. It was so close to Nashville too so we got to have our pre wedding celebrations there (we live in VA) and then our wedding in the most dreamy place just minutes away. And the food!! OMG!!! DELICIOUS!!! I have been to alot of weddings and the food is typically average- ours was the BEST I have ever have. Our wedding was everything we could've hoped for and I would recommend Hachland Hill in a heartbeat.

This spot is incredible. It is secluded and romantic, and feels so whimsical. We loved every bit of it! We reached out to Carter a week or so ago needing a venue for a music video shoot. He was super responsive and very open to the idea. He opened the entire property to our crew and really helped make the video. The property is magical! And, his catering is out of this world!! Such an incredible place - we highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Hachland Hill two weeks ago, and I'm still glowing from the experience. We both love the outdoors, and wanted a venue that would be naturally beautiful, while still being convenient to Nashville and that would have the amenities to support the large crowd that would attend. Hachland Hill exceeded our expectations. We met with Joe Hach, owner/operator (along with Phila Hach), to check out the location, and immediately fell in love with it. Seeing it all decorated and set up on the day of the wedding was truly a sight to behold; everything was beautiful! There is an upper house with many rooms, as well as a lower Inn with five additional bedrooms. You follow a paved road down a hill behind the first house, and you'll cross a bridge into a beautiful, wide open meadow surrounded by forest. The ceremony itself took place near the lower Inn, in front of a steel arch above the creek bed. Hachland Hill provides all of the chairs, tables, linens, tent, and catering, so you don't have to worry about any of that. During the ceremony, I caught myself gazing up into the trees, listening to the woods, feeling so blessed and in awe of how beautiful my surroundings were. It was truly a magical place to get married! After the ceremony, the party moved to the old tobacco barn, which had been cleared out for a buffet inside, and behind the barn a covered walkway led to the tented area with tables set up for dinner. It was spectacular! We chose to put the bar in front of the barn, so that guests could get a drink and mingle outside without crowding the buffet or dinner area. I would say our wedding was "country chic", and with the beautiful creek running by, it was the most beautiful spot I could have imagined. The food, the food! Oh how delicious was the food! We chose the fried chicken (this was not your average fried chicken; it was so flavorful, crisp and heavenly!), the pork tenderloin with juniper berries (tender, juicy!), kale and sweet potato sautee, corn cakes, summer salad of mixed greens, strawberries, goat cheese and walnuts; so much food to choose from! Phila Hach, who has owned the venue for years, is a local food celebrity. She used to have a cooking show in Nashville, has published 19 cookbooks (with another on the way), and has taught at world-class culinary schools, including in Sonoma. She is in her 80's, but she hasn't slowed down! She is a lovely, sweet and friendly woman, and she can cook up a storm! So many people commented that they loved the food at our wedding. We were able to provide our own alcohol, which saved us a ton of money. We brought in two kegs, four cases of wine, and some liquor, and had plenty left over. After dinner, the buffet was cleared out, and we danced the night away inside of the barn. It was so much fun! After the majority of the guests left, the wedding party and immediate family spent the night at Hachland Hill, and we partied until the wee hours of the morning. No one minded, and we had a great time! Joe Hach was very easy to work with and friendly. He took care of us from the beginning of the process, and we are very appreciative of everything that he did to ensure that our wedding went smoothly. He worked hard the entire day of the wedding. We were very happy with the service that Hachland Hill provided. The prices Hachland Hill offers are extremely reasonable, we were able to have everything that we wanted as a result. We are so happy that we chose this venue! In short, I highly recommend Hachland Hill! We will always cherish our memories and hope to visit in the future. It is a very special venue!

If I could give Hachland Hill a better rating I would. This family goes above and beyond to accommodate their guests. My husband and I had our wedding 10/6/18, but the Hach's have been dealing with us for almost 2 years! We had the property for the weekend with 50+ guests staying on property with us. We had FIVE meals prepared for us. Everything tasted amazing (I am still dreaming of the hot fudge pie!). I wouldn't change anything about this venue and hope to come back and celebrate anniversaries there in the future.

There aren't enough positive words to describe this place! My family came up here to see my son run in the Tennessee high school state championships. The story behind this quite and homely place is absolutely amazing! Carter is an amazing host and a greatly gifted chef! We will definitely be back and always refer people to come stay! The scenery is as my mother describes it "like being in a Hallmark movie".

Mrs. Hach, or just Phila for short, is the greatest. Of all time. As if her infectious southern charm wasn't enough to make you swoon, her food will make you believe in heaven like no preacher ever could. Mrs. Hach is the real deal southern cook - she's traveled all over the world educating people about southern cuisine. A former American Airlines flight attendant, she collected recipes from all over and eventually turned them into the basis for an airline catering business. Ask her for stories and she'll talk to you for days. As for the food itself - every single dish is the best I've experienced of its kind. Fried chicken, pulled pork, green beans, pickled cucumbers, squash casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet corn. Not to mention a divine blackberry cobbler for dessert. The coffee leaves a bit to be desired, but I can hardly do any complaining after that meal. The waiting staff are unabashed professionals. Service is impeccable, and the charm of the entire house, often used as a corporate retreat spot nowadays, made me feel more at home than I've felt in a very long time. And I'm from Pennsylvania...
