Stopped in for lunch one Saturday afternoon. We were immediately seated. Our server was patient as we took a moment deciding what we wanted. I ordered the shrimp bowl and asked for no sour cream or cheese dip. When my food arrived it had sour cream. Not wanting to make a fuss, I took it off and started eating my meal. As I got the rice underneath the beans, corn, and guac, I noticed something creamy that tasted like milk. I asked the server what it was and she said, cheese dip. It didn't taste like it nor look like it. She asked did I like it. I told her that I asked for it to not be served on my food. She said yeah, she wrote it down but they didn't listen. I asked for rice without the cheese dip and she wanted to charge me for a side. I told her I was not going to pay for a side since my order was wrong to begin with. I had no way of knowing the cheese dip was on the rice until I ate what was on top. She went to check with a manager. Some young girl, I am assuming a manager, came over to the table to ask what was going on.
I explained the story and she had the nerve to ask if I ate it? In other words she would not give me the rice. By this time, my server arrived with a side of rice. It's not like I was asking for a new meal, although I would have been right to do so since it was not prepared the way I ordered it. My mom ordered a combo plate- enchilada, burrito, and tamale. The sauce was too salty so my mom got a taco salad instead. It was ok; nothing special. We enjoyed the chips and the salsa. The chips were super light.
