"Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, Hady’s is one of the Triangle’s premiere destinations for African cuisine. The menu is heavy on West African classics like jollof rice, egusi soup, and c’est bon snapper, but veers into international and Caribbean cuisine. Jamaican beef patties, jerk chicken, and even barbecue chicken wings are in conversation with their predecessors from the continent on this truly diasporic menu." - Matt Lardie

Ordered the curry goat with rice & beans and mac & cheese as the sides and lemonade to drink. My partner had the Egusi soup. It was all very good. I really enjoyed the curry flavor of the goat, and the Mac was very nice. The atmosphere was very good with smashing decor and impeccable service. (Mind you, I was here when it was less busy.) I noticed a bug issue while using the restroom, but that wouldn't stop me from returning. I'm definitely still coming here again and would recommend it to anyone interested.

A great place to vibe out at but the food has not been the same this year. I’ve had it 5 times and each time it has gotten worse. Curry chunky. Chicken dry and got a single bone but Yk that’s okay the meat be falling off the bone! Rice & beans dry ! Like ughh I just wanted some curry chicken. I’m sad gotta order food from else where.

Usually 5 stars, but whoever made the beef shawarma wraps tonight (11/22) really let us down. Stale wraps, no sauce, no flavor. Awful, unfortunately we got 3 of these hoping for their usually great shwarma wraps. Rice was good, plantains were good, jerk chicken was great, but I had complaints that the curry chicken was far too salty. Overall, we spent over $100 but were only happy with about half our food.

I ordered peanut butter soup with lamb side of fufu & jollof rice, gizards, & 2 different juices. (Yess all for myself) The food was packed with flavor fresh to order. It was so hot I couldn't eat my fufu with my hands... lol Very family oriented and full of culture. Everyone made sure they spoke to me which made me feel welcome. 10/10 recommend you won't be disappoint Oh & they have a lunch special

Atmosphere is authentic and a one of a kind. Captures west African charm and delivers on halal dishes that can’t be found elsewhere like oxtail, jerk chicken, and my favorite sides fried plantains and jollof rice. True delicacies.

I was visiting from Mississippi. This restaurant was recommended by a native of NC. I wish had her name and number, so that I could say THANK YOU! This place was amazing. The waitress was so sweet and patient with my choosing and changing my menu items. She was attentive, asking each time I tasted something to see if I enjoyed it. I ordered the ginger juice, but it's spicy; and I didn't like it. The sweet waitress suggested that I try mixing it with the hibiscus juice. Wonderful suggestion that you gotta try! You will love the sweet, spicy result. I finally settled on ordering the chicken stew, rice and beans and collard greens for my meal. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the most delicious food I've ever had. And finally the appearance of the restaurant was very clean. And I loved the African-themed murals. I wish I lived close enough to visit Hady's again.

We loved the atmosphere here. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The place smelled clean and looked very clean also. This was our first time visiting and it was definitely a positive experience. The area was different for me on the outside but the inside atmosphere really does make up for it. Great spot.

I ordered something normal some shrimp, collard greens, beans/rice it was the only thing I felt I could eat. My dinner guests had the oxtails and she loved it, the other one had the tomatoes pepper chicken I think. I tried the sauce and it was divine, wished I had ordered that. I one thing I was disappointed in was the choice pieces of chicken. I like white meat and they only had dark. Now I could’ve eaten drumsticks but was told the chicken is set up for customers to get thighs and drumsticks. Even tho I asked if I could get legs instead I was politely told that I couldn’t. I hope that when I visited again I’m able to get what I ask for.
