Hagen Espresso Bar (Hagen South Kensington)

I popped into Hagen Espresso Bar in South Kensington recently and was genuinely impressed. The young staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful — the kind of service that immediately puts you at ease. The coffee itself was absolutely outstanding; one of the best cups I’ve had in a long time, full of flavour and clearly made with real care. What also made the visit memorable was the atmosphere. It was lovely to chat with some of the other customers, which gave the whole place a warm, community feel. Hagen manages to strike that perfect balance between great coffee, great people, and a great vibe. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be returning. ☕️

My first cappuccino from Hagen was at this location and since then, I fell in love with the brand! I’m a regular customer and recommend their specialty coffee blends!

I came to this lovely cafe three days ago and sat at the beautifully appointed bevelled marble bar. Beyond the ambience and delicious coffee I was extremely impressed by the work ethic, professionalism, kindness and overall lovely demeanor of the two lady baristas - Heather and Abbey. They are so hard working and were keeping the place beautifully clean while making the coffee with perfect precision and attention while having smiles and sincere and present engagements with the customers. Every inch of the workspace is immaculately clean and beautifully looked after by this fabulous duo ! Very impressive indeed ! I frequent some of the best cafes all over the world but the staff at this cafe is one of the best I’ve seen !

love the coffee, and look I can’t fault it it’s much more delicious than the others on the high st. but I really struggle with the mystery pricing! In the past I have been charged £2.80, £3.30 but recently £3.80 for a decaf Americano? Perhaps the prices have gone up (again, like everywhere) but it feels like a real mystery on the occasions I treat myself and they seem to make it up as it suits them.

Ordered a cortado and it was very rich and its mixed taste can last a while in my mouth. Definitely will come back next time.
