Hahdough German Bakery

I’ve never been a fan of pretzels but the moment I tried a pretzel croissant here, I was converted! Their croissants have just the right amount of butter and flakiness to them, the salt notes make them delicious. I also tried their cream and fresh strawberries Berliner, a very generous amount of cream, yet it’s light and airy, just the right amount of sugar powder on top. There is no sitting as literally it’s a little window in storefront to run the order. But you can enjoy your pastries at Patricia greens 🤗

Great baked goods. Got an Apple tart and a franzbrötchen. Both were excellent and tasted a lot like what I got at good bakeries in Germany and Austria. Apple tart had slightly tart apple compote counterbalanced by the powdered sugar on top. EXCELLENT

They’re open really weird hours. It’s effectively a hole in the wall and their store is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. None of this matters when you try their stuff, their berliners and pastries are absolutely next level. Will have to try one of their cakes soon.

The absolute best authentic artisan German cakes that you could possibly get anywhere in the Bay Area. Love them so much!!

Get a slice of the beesting cake. I’ve never tried this cake before, but this was just delightful. Not too sweet, perfect cake texture and the almond topping paired perfectly. And do not skip the pretzel croissant! The lamination is done well, the butter flavor really shines through and the pretzel wash they brush the croissant with adds a really nice punch of pretzel flavor. Berliner doughnut was so soft and light, tried both custard filled and strawberry jam filled. High marks to both, but the strawberry is perfectly tart and is my favorite.

January 2023: This location is a to go only. There's no seating, etc... Grabbed two donuts. A mixed berry filling and a vanilla cream filling. Both were really tasty. The mixed berry was a little light on the filling. The vanilla cream was excellent 👌👍. I'd get that again.

This hole in the wall is so good! There are so few shops in San Francisco that sell fresh and tasty pastries, most are hard lumps. I haven’t enjoyed pastries this delicious outside of Europe. Super happy to find this spot. It’s difficult to tell if they’re open early in the morning as the signage is small, so give a good look around so you don’t miss it.

Hole in the wall, order up counter only. Great Berliner donut, so fluffy and light. Pretzel croissant and sandwich were great savory options. Not too expensive, portions are good but not too much.

Tartine quality baked goods. The best donut I've ever had. Underrated, unique (for SF bay) and authentic German goodies. I tried a variety of cakes and pastries - every single thing I tried was five star perfect. No corners cut in the baking and everything crazy fresh. The store closes at 3pm and that is probably part of it - to expect fresh at 8pm or so just isn't a thing when bakers typically wake up a 2am and start their shift. Best donut I ever had. And calling it a donut is really a slap in the face to such a fine pastry. A donut is greasy with imitation berry filling that is colored with red #3. This was a very special dough and it had fresh strawberry jam in the middle. Somehow the donut wasn't soggy around the jam and the outside of the donut had a special delicate 'crust' to it. Came in a bag and the bag wasn't at all greasy. Raspberry mousse cake was equally special. The chocolate cake part of it reminded me a little of an authentic Sacher Torte I got from Hotel Sacher in Wien. Its hard to describe but its a great flavor and a little more dense than institutional cake at your local supermarket. My grandmother wouldn't touch anything that didn't come from a real bakery - and this would pass her high unrealistic (in the USA) expectations. Bear claw type pastry had a filling that was so tasty it really makes you wonder what you've been eating all along with those prepackaged full of preservatives 7hearts type junk. Flaky wonderful - a light crispy outside and soft tender layers on the inside. Sliced almonds on top just lightly toasted. I could go on and on about every specific thing I've tried from here - but I don't need to. The bakery is of a caliber where everything you get is perfect. The last thing I have to say is that it is underrated. You don't have to wait 30 minutes in line like at Tartine but it is every bit as delicious.

Got the donut and pretzel. MUST HAVE while you're in SF!! Never really had German pastries, but would definitely come back next time I'm in the Bay area. There's only a storefront window through which you order but it's pretty quick.

Black Forrest Cake is so delicious with the cherries. Not too sweet. Just perfect and fresh.

A great place that doesn't really need another 5-star review. I visited both locations and was impressed with both, I met the owner at the Hahdough Kitchen on Laguna, she waited on me personally. At Laguna you transact your business via a storefront window. Fell street is set up like a regular bakery where you go in and select from items in a glass case. Wife sampled both the Black Forest and Gentleman's cake, opted for the latter. I was more for the Black Forest myself. I also tried the Berliner and Cinnamon pastry because I deserved a reward for my efforts. All were great. One heads-up: they close at 3p which is a rude realization when they call you at 2:40pm while you are en route via Muni and 40 minutes away, the day before wife's birthday. A quick disembarkation and Lyft ride later, all good.

Delicious!!! I tried the pretzel, croissant pretzel and the cream filled donut. My favorite was the pretzel croissant! It was so chewy and such a unique way to mix the two. I would go back just for this. The pretzel was also yummy but normal and what you'd expect from a good pretzel. Definitely dip both into the honey mustard sauce. Drool...

german bakery actually run by germans! the vanilla cream berliner was fluffy and filled well, and the pretzel croissant had a pretty good honeycomb structure base (was interesting too, it can be likened to a saltier croissant)

My boyfriend was super into trying German food for months so I was excited when I found out that this place offers German cake and surprised him with one for his birthday. It was delicious~~~ we enjoyed it a lot.

I showed up at 9am today (Sat 5/18), waited around for 10 minutes, it was shuttered and they never did open. So if you're coming from a distance, you may want to either call or reconsider.

I ordered the cassis a l'orange cake inspired by "Lava lamps & shag carpet" for the Salted Rye cake picnic. It was delicious, BEAUTIFUL, & ready to pick up at the time I selected. It was a bit difficult to cut due to the cookie base (granted, this was at an event where you had 4 minutes to cut as many cake slices as you could, sooo that played a roll) but beyond that, would definitely purchase again. I spent a LOT of time searching for the perfect cake to bring to the event & was not disappointed!

I bought traditional German pretzels from here for our annual family Christmas party and everyone loved them and agreed that they were authentic. I ordered online and picked up and it was an easy process. I bought a stollen for my very German mother when I was picking up the pretzels and she was thrilled! It's great to have such an authentic place in town!

Hole in the wall yes. Best place for a berliner YES!! I was drawn to this place like a moth to the flame when I saw throngs of young college kids swarming the front. These kids know where the goods are. On the recommendation of one of the kids,I order two Berliners and was treated to a cream filled delite indeed!!

I guess the hype sailed because I 'tried' but was not a huge fan to return anytime soon...... Berliner: Fresh Strawberry - This was the best of the 3. Kiddo approved! Nutella Cream - Alright Seasonal Jam - It was strawberry and disappointingly sour. Even my kiddo didn't like it! Triple chocolate slice - I had better elsewhere; only the mousse most edible. Apple turnover - The filling inside was sour both the apples and raisins; Croissant ham & cheese - Edible but had better elsewhere. Pain Suisse - Not bad.

Holy smokes, y'all. This jam and cheese pretzel situation is BLOWING MY MIND. Buttery and a little salty, crunchy and soft?? We've passed this little window quite a bit since we often run errands in Hayes valley but this was our first time stopping. What fools are we!!!! I'm gonna dream about this delicious savory dream. Spouse said his Berliner was "great," whose significance no one can possibly understand. He said it's different from American donuts since the dough was lighter and fluffier than the donuts we typically consume. This is a real treat. Don't be like us and wait too long to try!

Love that there's a gluten-free flourless chocolate raspberry cake for us gluten challenged folks. My gluten sensitivity has developed over time, so I have also enjoyed the delicious pastries like the hazelnut cinnamon twist with orange flower, and the delightful Berliner donuts in every flavor, the savory pretzels, the chocolatey gentleman's cake and the outstanding Black Forest cake. My bias toward dark chocolate desserts has kept me from trying the beesting cake which I imagine is equally delicious. Since I'm trying to be better about avoiding gluten, the gluten-free treats are welcomed. More please! I haven't had delicious German treats like this in San Francisco and appreciate the hard work that Ha and her team do to make this sweet small business a success in the city! Thank you for the consistently delicious treats!!

I walked to Hahdough, 509 Laguna St, SF from Civic Center. During Covid-19 it's just a takeout window to order from w/ a written menu to look at. I got a slice of Beesting cake $7.50 and a pretzel $3.75. Walked to Patricia Green Park to eat it. I liked the Beesting cake the first few bites, then thought it was too bready instead of cakey. Pretzel is a good size, bready & soft. Ate the rest at home. Charged my order. I'll go back, maybe their other location to try other cakes.

My SO picked up a few sweets from Hahdough for our early Xmas gathering this year and they were all very nice.   He could not order next day pickup online so he called.  I overheard his conversation and communication regarding a same day pickup/in stock inquiry seemed oddly difficult but he was able to reserve a Gentleman's Cake (Herrentorte) for pickup later that day. I'm not certain which location he went to so I have posted this review in both locations.  When he arrived, he noted the herrentorte was the smaller version but that they also had a larger pre-sliced version available in stock. He inquired about purchasing the larger version instead but apparently they said no, which I don't really understand.   For him, this was frustrating. Instead he purchased the smaller cake as originally intended plus a few other slices to try.  Again, we were having several people over for a dinner party so we tried slices of the Bienenstich (vanilla creme, honey almond cake), Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake, and Prinzregententorte (like the gentleman's cake but without liquor).  Plus an Apfelstreuselkuchen (apple tart with struesel topping) and a small bag of cookies.   All were very good.  Light and not too sweet with clear, bright flavors and lovely, fresh fruit.  I think my favorite was the Apfelstreuselkuchen. They're quite pricey but their quality and artistry is wonderful.  Just be forewarned to order well in advance and possibly expect some difficulties if you don't.

My husband and I are expats in San Francisco from Austria. Getting Hadough is like a warm hug. So authentic. The cakes have that not too much just right sweetness that European pastries are so famous for. My husband surprised me today with a pre ordered gluten free hazelnut cake for my birthday. The cake base tasted exactly like my mother in law's walnut Gugelhupf. The hazelnut cream on top was perfection. So light and creamy with just the right blend of chocolate hazelnutty sweetness. Thank you for making my birthday special Hahdough! I'm looking forward to the birthdays of fellow Germans and Austrian friends so I can blow their minds with your offerings!

Uniquely beautiful and magically delicious birthday cake for a 90th birthday. Not too sweet, perfect amount of citrus to sugar.

Might not find this place if you're not actively looking for it. It's an indistinct window attached to what appears to be a big kitchen. It seemed like Hahdough branded cars were picking up goodies here and driving them elsewhere. But thankfully, you don't need to follow the cars, since this window sells a few tasty treats. Strawberry Berliner: Not the typical kind of fluorescent strawberry jelly you get from cheap doughnut places. This was legit strawberry sauce made from real strawberries and lightly sweetened for fidelity to the real strawberry flavor. It's a bit intense actually, but perfect when distributed across a fluffy fried doughnut covered a sugar. Vanilla Cream Berliner: Nicely flowing cream, which was more like custard. Would have been amazing in a Boston Cream doughnut, since chocolate ganache is a great pairing. However, was just ok in the Berliner with its no frills plain doughnut and light sugar topping. Pretzel: Looking at this, I was worried because I didn't see any salt. However, tasting it, it was just perfect. A strong malty coating over all the surface area that had such a nice chewy texture. And despite no large salt pieces, it did tasted a little salty, like salt was mixed secretly into the outer layer. Apple Turnover: Kind of a dry diced apple filing with some soaked golden raisins, so don't expect gooey apple pie filing. Puffed out dough that was flaky and buttery. Cherry Pie: Didn't seem like a pie at all. Was more like a cherry turnover. It was good for sure, probably better than the apple turnover. I like how the cherries were plump and full of sweet and tart flavor. Same nice flaky dough as the turnover. Kaesekuchen: Not like a dense New York (or Italian) cheesecake. Like a fluffy Japanese cheesecake. I enjoyed the dense buttery crust.

"As the only German bakery in San Francisco" (according to both @SFChronicle and @Eater_SF in 2020), Hahdough has extremely fluffy German donuts that you don't wanna miss out! Cute German donut alert. When I got it, I stared at this German donut for a good 30 seconds. "How can it look so perfect?" Different from other German doughnut, the ones @hahdough are not only really light but also very airy and satisfying to taste.

Cant really get more German bakery than this! I grew up in Germany (coincidentally, I think in the city the owner worked in for a while!) and this bakery is doing a better job at some of the bakeries in my old hometown. Attention to detail, great taste and a large selection of baked goods! The Berliner are always great and so is the Herrentorte and Bienenstich. My absolutely favorite is sadly not usually available as a slice, but when you see it, the Donauwelle is amazing and I wish people would ask for it more frequently!

I'm not the most educated on how the family who owns Hahdough has come to be, but they make show-stopping German baked goods that aren't too sweet. While I do enjoy a nice Chinatown-style sponge or the Western-inspired desserts from 85C and Tous Les Jours, a cake from Hahdough has made my family's events more special and memorable. My family really enjoys the Strawberry Mango Cake and the Cassis A L'Orange, and I've better remembered our past few birthdays and Mother's Days because I can remember the cakes that were there. Most recently, we sliced up the Cassis A L'Orange at a restaurant and it's perhaps one of the best cakes I've had. The bottom-layer crust is buttery and rich, the mousses are smooth and decadent, and the base adds a nice acidity that makes every bite pop in your mouth. But what is most surprising is the gelee, which you would expect to taste artificial and too sweet. In reality, it's delicate and imparts all the flavors of orange without being overwhelming, making its sparing use the star of the cake. Truly, it's my favorite. As a side note, if you're picking up from this location, coming earlier probably won't mean you won't get your cake earlier. I think their limited space and tight schedule means a 10am pickup time means 10am, not 9:30am or 9:45am. Totally understandable, so be ready to go walk around or get a beer at Suppenkuchë if you need.

Small window, not a shop. Quite literally, a hole in the wall. No beverages are available. Come early if you want a Berliner donut. The black forest cake was yummy with a nice light crust.

The location on Laguna St is order ahead only. I'm not sure why it's listed as a second location on Yelp and on their website. It's too bad as this is the location where they make everything. It would be great if they had a menu of "baking today" that people could walk up and order. I placed an order online. When I arrived it wasn't ready. Additionally, I emailed and left a voicemail to add items to my order. Both the email and voicemail were ignored. Delicious tasting items! But, based on my few visits they need a business manager to run the business (training staff, mangling the online business, focusing on driving profit, customer experience, etc). They will not survive unless this piece is figured out quickly.

Huge appreciation to Hahdough for adding such a special touch to our wedding. We wanted the German pretzels for our favor with an individual mustard. Ha Do, the owner, was incredibly responsive with emails, helpful with creating wonderful gift bags that we put at the table settings and even delivered them on the big day! People were RAVING about the pretzels, a definite hit. We even got requests for more. I've had other items at the bakery and all are amazing. If you haven't been, put on your list for a wonderful treat.

Ordered the Herrentorte cake online for my Birthday. The cake was there on time as promised. However, it was very dry and flavorless. Very disappointed overall and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I walked by this German bakery and was hoping to get a classic one to go. Sadly they had nothing left other than pretzels. I bought one and it was pretty good but nothing special. I was hoping to get the Bienenstich or Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. Pretty disappointing to have 90 percent of the menu unavailable.

Hahdough is a cute bakery with an array of different pastry options. I got the Berliner, and appreciated how there were multiple different options for the filling. I got the raspberry jam filling, but the Nutella sounded good too! The pastry itself had a nice texture and airiness. I thought that the jam was a bit sweet for my tastes, but the ratio of jam to donut was such that it didn't overwhelm the flavor. Covid Note: The bakery is operating with take-out only, and you are able to wait outside the store until it is your turn to order. I visited on a Sunday morning, and didn't think it was too crowded (there was only one person in front of me in line).

Our neighbor who is a very good amature Baker (a trial attorney during the day) heard about Hahdough Bakery and gave us a heads up! We immediately decided to check them out last Saturday and discovered they are open until they sell out. We were disappointed but vowed to return a few days later. Returned on Tuesday to discover they were opened until Wednesday at 8:30 am until they sell out of their daily offerings. Since Hahdough is located a few blocks from our son's high school on Fell Street in San Francisco. This morning I arrived at 8:25 am and was 2nd in line. Quickly the line grew to about 15 people. At 8:35 am a worked poked his head outside and apologized they were waiting on a delivery. The line grew with potential customers with babies, bicycles and boxers. The Hahdough worker offered complimentary coffee or cappuccino to the growing crowd. Nice gesture, no one accepted. Finally at 8:55 am after watching the deliveries without overpowering the numerous pastry loot the Bakery opened. The servers were very friendly and helpful explaining the various different kinds of pastries. Despite my 50% German heritage (Schmidt, Herken) I wasn't familiar with most of the delicious offerings---but after learning each ordered most! My photos include many of my selected choices but most important ly the traditional twisted pretzels. The Hahdough Bakery needs to work on their delivery schedule, however the over all product is worth the line & 30 minute wait! Enjoy!

Husband wanted something new/different for his birthday cake and have always wanted to try Hahdough. We were so pleased with the chocolate mousse cake and it is delicious! Three layers of mouse (white, milk, dark chocolates) and delicate chocolate raspberry cake at bottom. Got a dozen pretzels too and they were so incredibly fresh and delicious!

Came here on a weekend afternoon after reading multiple glowing recommendations for this bakery on Eater. We aimed to get a slice of the famed beesting cake but unfortunately they were all out! There was no line but the bakery does enforce 2 ppl within the bakery for social distancing. We ended up getting a slice of chocolate cake, some donuts, and a little pretzel. Everything was good but nothing stood out, but I would definitely come again to try more of their delicious looking cakes.

Such a cute small German bakery! I had passed by the location in Nopa before and was definitely intrigued. The other location seemed to be more of an actual bakery you walk into, whereas this location was just a small kitchen window that you can order from. I wanted to try a small variety of things and ended up getting a pretzel, a vanilla cream berliner, and a hazelnut twist (forgot the German name). The pretzel was INCREDIBLE and had such a good soft chewy texture and a great crust. The berliner was fluffy and the cream was light and not overly sweet which I really liked. The hazelnut twist was nice and flaky but definitely on the sweeter side, and had a lemony icing and almonds on top. They also serve a bunch of different german cakes that I was really tempted to try, but I'll have to leave that for next time!

A little pricey, but delicious! If you can only order one thing, get the pretzel croissant. It combines that delicious, buttery pretzel taste into light and flaky croissant form! It's just a takeout window, so grab your croissant and enjoy it as you wander around Hayes Valley. Go on a weekend for shutdown streets, live music and great vibes.

Hahdough offers a range of sweet and savory baked goods in a small takeout stand in Hayes. All of the options were authentic and not too sweet. The berliners are perfectly light and airy, with custard filling with just a touch of sweetness. The seasonal one with fresh strawberries is a perfect combination of the airy donut, lightly sweet custard, and fresh slices of juicy fruit. The strawberry jam one is packed with tart jam and really brings the flavor. The Black Forest cake is authentic in that it has that chocolate richness with the added flavor of cherry kirsch, but the texture is light and uplifting rather than heavy. All of the pastries that I've tried have a satisfying flake and distinct layers, and aren't too sweet. The pretzel sandwiches (both ham and mozzarella) options are small but delicious, with the pretzel roll itself so light and chewy, and with fresh and tasty fillings. Overall highly recommend if you're in the area! Just be prepared to take these to go since there's no seating

Cute little hole in the wall! I tripped right in front of them in the morning and asked for a bandaid and they were so so so nice and gave me not only a bandaid, but also Neosporin and alcohol wipes so I am ever so grateful. Other than that story, I got a pretzel croissant which was HUGE and flaky and delicious. I personally didn't really think it tasted like a pretzel but my bf thought it definitely did, so many my tastebuds were just off, but regardless, they were like 1.5 the size of a regular croissant and it was great! 4.5/5 We also got 2 of the German donuts, one with apricot and another with vanilla. The donuts were topped with lots of icing sugar, so please be ware that if you sit and eat them, you'll likely end up with some icing behind on your clothing. They were a little too sweet for me, but still solid 4/5 There are a couple of cool items to try out and the people there were so friendly so I'm giving them the extra star for service and saving my ankle.

Call first to be sure they're open. A little walk up window with a selection of German donuts (think light sugar dusted raises donuts filled with chocolate or vanilla custard or raspberry jam!) and cake slices - as well as a classic soft chewy pretzel among other items. You need to go early for the best selection. By the time my coworkers and I arrived only the donuts, pretzel and one slice of cake were left - all delicious!

Good sandwich selection, loved the pretzel sandwiches. Cakes were decent as well, I liked the Bienenstich a lot. Will have to go back for pretzels next.

Amazing Black Forest cake. Online ordering was super smooth. Cake was delicious. Could taste the rum soaked cherries and the frosting was not too sweet but so creamy. 6 inch was perfect size for at least 8 servings.

Discovered this place because they have a stand at the inner sunset farmers market. I absolutely LOVE their berliners. I am a huge donut fan, and this is like the German version of it. The dough is different from a typical donut. It's light and fluffy! They're also not too sweet and don't feel oily. The fruit fillings are a little tart to balance the sweetness of the powdered sugar. The vanilla cream is so light and also not too sweet. This place is one of those places I'd cheat on my diet for. The staff members are soooo nice! But please bring back the filled mini berliners. Super easy to share and really nice for a small treat when I'm not up for the bigger ones. Although let's be real, I could always eat the regular sized ones. I just don't think my body would like me very much if I did.

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Hahdough after walking by so many times! Unfortunately they were sold out of several items by the time we arrived around 11am but we still managed to sample a good number of items. We ordered a plum jam donut, apple turnover, beesting slice, and mandarin orange cheesecake. The lady at the front was super mice and also gave us a cinnamon croissant! The plum jam donut was so nice and fluffy! I loved the texture and the jam had a great flavor - the only thing I didn't like too much was that all of the jam was in one corner of the donut rather than the center so some bites were all donut and no jam. The apple turnover was PERFECT! That pastry was so nice and flaky and I just loved how the filling was not too sweet and actually had a slight bit of tartness to it. The beesting slice was so unique and different from any cakes I've ever had! I loved the layers and the fluffy cream. The brittle like topping was my favorite and I liked the different textures in this cake. The cheesecake was also not too sweet and I liked the touch from the mandarin orange, however, it was less creamy than most cheesecakes I usually enjoy so personally I would skip this one next time. Lastly was the cinnamon croissant which was actually my favorite! Nice and buttery with a good cinnamon flavor to it. Simple but so nice and comforting!! Overall, I'm really glad I tried it out and will definitely be stopping by a little bit earlier next time to try some of their other items!

A fine place for German cake and pastries. Everything is incredibly light and delicious in a quality you rarely find in Germany. A must stop for every visitor, a gem for the lucky of us living in the city. Cute ambiance and very friendly service. Thank you, Hahdough for everything you do.

Ordered a 6 inch cake online through their website for my husbands birthday. It was super delicious and my husband and I loved it. Would definitely recommend. Best part is its super reasonably priced.

Hahdough specializes in german pastries. didn't spend time trying to analyze the german words. meine deutsche sehr schlecht (my german very bad). went with the donuts. Ich liebe deutsche essen (i love german food). lst time seeing german pastries. very familiar with bier, wienerschnitzel, etc. locale: san mateo farmers market (8/3) eats: donuts (2/$6, vanilla creme, strawberry jam filled) -donut is melt in ur mouth yummy. -fillings tasted natural, home made, not commercially sourced. crumbs: -naturally not every german pastry will satisfy my taste. -still, i luv having them around. Wunderbar! 5 stars. -i may get diabetes from trying the whole pastry menu.

I've been looking for a long time for a bakery that does make a good funeral cake...say whaaaat? Let me explain: I grew up in Germany and whenever I attended a funeral, we'd be eating an assortment of what is known as funeral cakes: Bienenstich (bee sting cake), Butterkuchen (Streusel) and some version of seasonal fruit cake. But in fact, this trilogy of cakes would not only be served at funeral feast, but at any kind of festivals in my village...and so I have a lot of fond memories attached to those cakes; especially the bee sting cake! I've now lived in the Bay Area for quite some time and I've looked for German bakeries that do a good bee sting cake, but so far I've been let down. (Esther's Bakery does a decent one, but it's not quite right.) Then, I learned about Ha from Hahdough Bakery and after meeting up with her for a coffee, I knew that she'd be the person to make my childhood memories come alive again. Ha, by the way, grew up in Germany and moved to the Bay Area a few years ago. She's trained with various pastry chefs both in Europe and here in the Bay Area. When it came to organizing a work party for 200 people, I immediately thought of Ha and her bee sting cake. I asked her to make a selection of traditional German sheet cakes as well as Berliners, which are German doughnuts traditionally filled with jam. Ha's version of these doughnuts contain special fillings like strawberry mango, vanilla custard or black forest. The party was a huge success and there were a few other Germans amongst the crowd who shared with me that they'd been especially impressed by the quality of the cakes as well.

Cute bakery with takeout window during these times. Still a pretty good menu selection. Went with the Berliner which is a German donut with vanilla cream filling which was very good. Soft and fluffy with an almost like a Bavarian cream filling. The pretzel was good as well, with part of it being fluffy and soft bread and parts tasting really like a pretzel without the crunch. Would def stop by here and again for the Berliner and to try out their wide variety of German cakes.

Their Berliner with jam is so tasty!!! I love jelly donuts but these are on a whole other level. I would buy their jam if they sold it. Also tried their gentleman's cake... I'm definitely coming back to try more things on the menu!

Wonderful cakes for celebrations and tasty pretzels and Berliners for snacking. This location is just a takeout window so it's easy to overlook.
