High quality vendors including multiple places to get bread and pastries. Great vegetables, plants, jewelry, and handmade crafts. Parking can be a challenge so get there early.

Wonderful Saturday Farmers Market in Haile Plantation usually from 8:30am to 12pm! Numerous Organic Farm Vendors selling Local, Seasonal, Organic Produce and Products! Homemade Baked goods, Raw Milk, Handmade Items:) Support the Local Economy and Interact with a Vibrant Community!

Ive heard wonderful things about this place but when I finally go it's. So. Overpriced. For low quality crap. And so many stands are just older people trying to heckle you to buy stuff they probably bought online. I thought it was so cute at first but actually looking at the stands was disappointing

Cozy, and I love the vibe and live music. I could get fresh lion mane mushrooms most of the times, which hard to find on local markets. And the local raw honey.

I sooooo recommend you put Haile Farmers Market on your Saturday morning calendar. It’s very eclectic, with vendors selling cheese, jewelry, eggs and produce of all kinds, woodwork, juices, ceramics and glass, meat - cooked and raw - beautiful flowers, mushrooms that don’t even look real they’re so pretty, gifts, coffee, pizza, arepas, rocks and shells, baked goods, art and more! The quality of just about everything is outstanding. You can’t get lettuces at the grocery store like the ones you’ll find here. I buy a bunch of mixed and often exotic flowers every single week and they usually last until the next Saturday or longer. You’d spend $50 at the local Joe’s create the kind of arrangements you get there for $12-15. The bread there is very fresh and not too expensive. Bottom line? Get up early and get to the Haile Farmers Market. You’ll be soooo glad you did.

Love this market! I come here quite often. Big shout out to Wyatt's Coffee and Vine Bakery for being there! Making my Saturday mornings feel like a holiday 😁

This place is only open on Saturday from 8:30-12. A wide variety of fresh meat, flowers, food, produce, and handcrafted goods. The vendors are very friendly and offered free samples of their food.

Yelp
We enjoyed the Farmers Market located on the charming tree-lined street of Haile Plantation Village in Gainesville. It is open once a week on Saturday from 8:30am to 12 noon. The market features local farmers with fruits and vegetables, local baked goods, artisan foods, prepared foods, meats and fish, cut flowers, plants, crafts and more. It was a nice stroll over a couple blocks purchasing several items along the way including sourdough bread, quiche, honey, fruit and desserts.

Yelp
The ambiance is nice... that's why you come. The items are way over priced for a farmer's market and there's an elitist attitude from many of the vendors. Great to visit and get out of the house, but rarely find anything worth the value. Would rather spend the same (if not less) and support a local business that employs local people, pays taxes, etc.

Yelp
I love this farmer's market! It's in a perfect spot where there's plenty of space for different booths but it's still easy to make sure you get around to all of them. There's a great variety of vendors and while things can be a little pricey, that's just the nature of a farmer's market and supporting small businesses. I would come here every week if I could and it's always the highlight of my Saturdays! I will say parking can be tough so I like to come early, but usually if you drive around enough you can eventually get a spot. The vendors are always super friendly and lots of them will give out samples as well. I definitely recommend coming here to start out your weekend with something pleasant.

Yelp
The summer heat was daunting, but worth it! Large variety of upscale venders. Super-delicious burgers! Lovely floral arrangements. Superior dried and marinated tomatoes. Nice Saturday morning outing. Kinda pricey, though.

Yelp
I love coming to this farmers market! It's smaller than what I'm used to but it's plenty of space and has parking. I love the variety of booths from coffee, pastries, vegetables, and crafts! It's from 8:30am-12pm on Saturday! I love coming here on Saturdays!

Yelp
Local vendors, a variety of items and friendly service, located in a very charming and idyllic town, make this farmer's market a worthy outing!

Yelp
A great market with a focus on handmade crafty goods and bakery items with a few local produce vendors scattered in. Parking can be difficult so getting there early is advantageous. Reducing one star because the market is placed on a small street so it can get cramped quickly with lots of foot traffic.

Yelp
We loved the farmers market experience. The ambiance is super cute and we had no trouble with parking. We purchased some delicious sourdough to take home-only $8 for fresh bread! And also had a sausage from the Good Life Eats and Treats. Super delicious. The vendors were all very nice. We will be back!

Yelp
It is the first time that I visit this farmer market. I loved it. We were my daughter, my son-in-law and I, we all liked it. And we plan to return again. All the vegetables looked fresh. We bought ourselves some out-of-league cupcakes.

Yelp
Easily the best farmers market in Gainesville. There were so many options for us to choose from, music in the background, and it was dog friendly. We got some grass fed meat, a fried chicken sandwich, sourdough, muffalata, and a cupcake. Excited to come back.

Yelp
A great way to spend a Saturday morning! If you are from Gainesville you are likely to run into many local friends. Bring home some fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods from the local hometown bakeries, farm raised eggs, cheese and meats. Honey, tempeh and so much more. Bring your kids and dogs and enjoy the day!

Yelp
Very cute market in a village-like atmosphere. Highlight was Germain's chicken sandwich. Got the classic which was amazing. The chicken was so tender and juicy inside, yet still had that crisp outside. Loved the sauce. The market itself does not have too many grocers, it's more heavy on vendors selling baked goods/foods, etc.. which were tasty! But the grocers who are there do tend to represent a farm (not people selling produce that they bought at a warehouse grocery story with the PLU tags still on them). I ended up with some okra and persimmon. We also tried Green Mango (palak paneer - good, but not very spicy), Vine (got their sourdough bread which was pretty decent, and a chocolate chip cookie which was okay), and Resident coffee (cold brew and their nitro latte). Our favorite was the latte, it was slightly sweet but not too much so. Of note, vendors seem to sell out early here. We got there at 10AM and one of the stalls selling farm fresh eggs was already sold out. At 10:45AM, the chicken sandwich stall was also sold out and the pizza vendor had also sold out of some of their pizzas.

Yelp
Definitely check out Ed W.'s 5-Star review. His review is great and pretty much sums it up: A local market that offers something for everyone from local vendors, organic farmers and innovative artists and businesses. It's a great way to spend your Saturday morning and pick up unique items to eat, cook, enjoy and take home. We picked up some fresh, living, green wheatgrass to take home for only $2 per unit and it's hard to find in Jax. Located in the quaint "downtown" of Haile Plantation with plenty of street parking for visitors, they have signs to get you there. It closes at 12pm so make sure you try to come as early as possible because the early bird gets the worm. They are open 8:30am to 12pm every Saturday. Some of the highlights for me: Visiting The Tempeh Shop's booth since I have a freezer full of this stuff. They offer samples of their Ready Tempeh [prepared tempeh] and the guy working the booth gave me good advice on how to prepare it at home. It's suppose to be really good for you as it is a fermented soybean product locally made and distributed. The variety of certified organic produce available at this market is a dream for those looking for local organic veggies and fruit that aren't tainted with pesticides and other poisons. The presentation is beautiful, but you will need to get there early because they do run out of the more popular produce in season. I missed out on the organic beets. Bummer. Here are some of the vendors available here: Strega Nona's Oven Wood Fired Pizzas, Price Creek Farm, The Tempeh Shop, Rosie's Organic Farm, Fehrenbacher's Artisan Sausages, Possum Hollow Farm, Archer Market Garden, & The Green Mango...just to name a few. Check 'em out.

Yelp
This is a nice consistent farmers' market. It's located in the Haile Village Center on Saturday mornings. Parking can be tricky if you aren't out there when it opens. Vendors are varied and local. Produce is dependent upon the season, but you can usually find baked items all year long.

Yelp
The Haile Farmers Market, held every Saturday morning, is outstanding! It is a bit unique in today's world of community Farmers Markets because it is truly a local Farmers Market. The vendors are local farmers that sell produce, baked goods, and a limited number or artisan works. All of the produce and dairy products that we saw for sale (and that we purchased!) were from local farms in north-central Florida. Whether the vendors were produce farmers, dairy farmers, or bakers, they were local and their products were not of the "commercialized" variety. Shoppers will find raw milk products (where you can choose the source cow from an array of photos!), farm fresh eggs, and a variety of baked goods that were made fresh that very morning. A fun experience on a sunny Florida morning in a delightful little village!

Yelp
If you're looking to go to a farmers market on a saturday morning, id recommend Haile! It's in a cute area and although the market itself is a little small, there are more shops around that you can visit. The farmers market itself is reliable, as it is open every saturday. There are businesses that are regulars and then there are others that come and go. The market includes things such as organic soap, jewelry, cheese, flowers, and MUFFINS. Each time I go to this market I never leave without buying the muffins that one business owner sells. They are probably THE best muffins i've ever had and will probably be THE best you will have had too. Thank goodness for willpower because if I didn't have any I would eat all four at a time. (1 for $3, 4 for $10)

Yelp
Everyone has their own recipe for a successful vacation and mine includes a visit to the local farmers market. If you're looking for a quaint and peaceful (music-less) market - this is your spot. Tucked away in a utopia-like village, Haile Farmers Market features a dozen to 20 local vendors offering coffee, pastries, Indian eats, pasta and produce. The highlight for me was the $10 bouquets and vegan beet pasta (amazing!!!!). If only I could have that pasta shipped to Indiana. Add some music and a few more vendors and this farmers market would be more my style.

Yelp
The farmers market itself was average. I would have liked to see more stalls with baked goods and fresh bread. I did not see anything that I was dying to go back for. The area that the farmers market is located is really quaint. I loved the atmosphere. If I go back it will be to walk through the shops. The biggest turn off for me was the space to walk between the tents/stalls. There is just not enough room to walk for the amount of people and dogs. It was very crowded and cramped. I will go back to give it a second chance. Side note: go early if you want to find parking.

Yelp
the place has some great vibes and is definitely a nice small town market with amazing food and people

Yelp
This is a nice Saturday morning activity if you want to find some local baked goods and vegetables.
