Hair of the Dog

I have been taking my pups to Hair of the Dog since 2005. Peggy and her loyal staff members love & treat my boys like their own. They are professional, dependable & do an amazing job! I drop my pups off with the comfort of knowing they’re in the best hands and well taken care of. Highly recommend the ladies at Hair of the Dog a thousand times over!!

Loved Hair of the Dog! First: they do great work. Our dog looked and smelled great! Second: they are easy to work with. They have a phone number that can accept texts so things like records of his shots were really easy. They also wanted pictures of how we wanted him to look. Third: he has difficult nails to trim, and they got that right, too. They did not get the quick on any of his nails. Fourth: he did not sit in a kennel all day. When we got our dog back he did not seem traumatized at all. They called us fairly soon after he was finished so we could come get him right away. Fifth: the cost is very competitive. Its about the same as a big-box-store nearby. All the individual attention made me expect much higher prices. Sixth: easy in / easy out. This is a small thing, but since I'm on the subject of how much my wife and I like Hair of the Dog, even their location is spot on. It is super easy to get to the strip mall, the parking lot is easy (not cramped or over-crowded). I really cannot say enough about Hair of the Dog. We have been looking for the right groomer for three years. They finally were accepting new clients and we could not be happier. If you can get in, give them a try. You will not regret it.

I love Hair of the Dog! Peggy has been grooming my dog for many years and she does a fabulous job. She is so gentle with my dog since she is older now and has arthritis. When I ask her if she wants to go and see Aunt Peggy my dog is ready to go.

Peggy and her team have taken excellent care of my 2 Scotties. Scotties, are usually not very cooperative, but Peggy could calm them and they came home clean and happy. She also groomed them to my specifications.

Best groomer to which we’ve ever taken our goldendoodle! They have done an amazing job every time and our dog has been coming home looking perfectly trimmed and even.

Peggy and her team are the best! We have been clients for almost 16 years and sadly we are relocating to a new state and saying goodbye! We always knew our Yorkie-Poo was in great hands. They are caring and always do a great job!

Peggy and her staff are wonderfully skilled and experienced groomers. They take amazing care with every one of their fur clients (and human ones too). They know each dog by name and treat them as their own. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert care. They know their breeds and the grooming care each one needs. Each staff member is courteous and experienced and goes above what is required every time. Appointments need to be made weeks ahead of time.

Excellent service and Peggy and staff are loving with the animals. They know exactly how to groom the different breeds. They are skillful in handling the more nervous breeds. Highly recommend!

Peggy and her staff as I have always given exceptional care to both of my furry animals. The love and care that all of the groomers there provide is unbelievable! Every morning when I drop off they truly are excited to see the dogs. I feel like they have become part of our family!

What a bunch of damn thieves. Informed me that it would be $40 to groom my husky. When I returned to pick her up, they wanted to charge me $75! Never called to discuss. Don't waste your time or money.

I've taken my dog here for years, and wouldn't take him anywhere else. Always reliable and consistent service, good communication, and all the staff is friendly. I highly recommend!
