Despite having an initial negative experience, I can honestly say that the staff at HairQueen has has addressed my needs and went above and beyond! First, the owner was gracious & acknowledged my concerns and explained that sometimes there is one wig that is bad due to many circumstances - shipping/handling, hair donor diet etc- and unfortunately for me that happened to be the original wig I purchased. Long story short, I received a replacement wig and it’s absolutely beautiful(picture at bottom) . Not only that but the hairstylist Nicole is absolutely amazing and I get compliments on all my installs with her. Overall, I am happy that I spoke up about my initial experience and I appreciate the HairQueen staff for addressing and fixing my concerns🩷

Upon entering HairQueen LA I was immediately mesmerized by the vast displays of hair but as the saying goes looks can be deceiving. I ended up purchasing a wig for $1600( the most I’ve ever spent) thinking I’ve found the hair Mecca but within a day after my install the hair was shedding excessively anytime I laid down/brushed it, the frontal was knotting and it wouldn’t hold curls after styling. It got so bad that on the fourth day, I called Yessica(front desk worker) and she assured me this was normal for “human hair” but as an owner of multiple lace units I knew it was not. She suggested I come in for maintenance(which costs $275) and I even asked Tristan(the hair stylist) if it’s normal for a wig of this quality to be shedding and tangling this much and he even replied no. As expected within a day after the 2nd install the wig was back to excessive shedding, tangling of the frontal and falling flat after styling.
Within 5 Days after my 2nd install ( roughly 2 weeks of having the wig) the unit had completely fallen apart due to the frontal knotting and tangling. I was completely heartbroken and couldn’t believe that I paid so much money for a wig that only lasted me 2 weeks. Given the price point one would expect the utmost quality of hair and customer service but that has not been my experience with this company. Additionally, I have sent 2 emails and left a voicemail- it has been 10 days and no one has gotten back to me.
