"Koreatown— There is a new gopchang specialist in town for those who prefer innards when it comes to Korean barbecue. Hak San serves up a number of combinations showcasing large and small intestines, but also offers plain ol’ beef and pork for those less inclined toward offals." - Cathy Chaplin

Best daechang and gopchang in Ktown! Definitely underrated because of the location but it’s sooo good. Make sure to order fried rice at the end. They also gave us free squid game dalgona candy! So cute 🥰 The vibe is also great for drinking

Intestines were very sweet and greasy. Chewing them with Korean vegetable side dishes took care of the greasiness. Very Korean street style atmosphere and set up. Price was steep. Each person got $55 including tips.

Where to begin...the food was overpriced and chewy and lacked freshness and flavor. The interior was freezing and our server gave us attitude when we asked if we could turn the heat up. After that, our servers hardly came by our table to refill our water or give us the side dishes we asked for. Very long wait times. When we tried to give constructive feedback to the owner, he shut us down rudely. Now, looking at his response to other reviews that mention the same bad service, I can see that he always copies/pastes the same generic answer: "We apologize that our service did not satisfy your expectations. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with our business. Your happiness is our number one priority" What a load of BS. All in all, very disappointed in this place. Don't understand what the hype is about, as there are many better gopchang places in Ktown that have cheaper prices, tastier food, and nicer service. And to top it all off...If you have a nice car DO NOT VALET, they scratched and dented my car and denied any responsibility even though they clearly scratched it parking alongside the wall of the building in the small, narrow alley.

Google
Korean barbecued intestines... if you've never tried it, might not seem appetizing. But EVERY one I've taken there that says "ew!" says "yum!" afterwards. There are several of these types of restaurants but this one is my favorite. Best taste and value (not cheap tho). Other places cost more and doesn't taste as good.

One of the employees at the restaurant asked us to post this. The place was quite freezing as it was rainning outside and under 50 degrees. However the restaurant never turned the heater on. Asked one of the employees to turn the heater on but he told us the ceiling was not completed and cold air was keep coming through the roof due to the ceiling problem. The response was strange to us because we just asked to turn the heater on. We were offered to move our table to a corner table which was little warmer. We saw water dripping from the ceiling maybe due to the rain. Food was ok but the experience was quite bad. Not coming back to this place until the winter is over.

Google
Really good gop chang. They don't have full menu yet, but what I tried was really good. Can't wait foot them to have the rest of the menu available. Reasonable price for the amount of meat you get. Service was really good too. Will be back when other items are ready.

Google
Delicioso! Yum! If you like eating intestines, tripes and abomasum then you will like it here. The taste is good and very tasteful and not nasty. I love it. Haksan will be one of my go to now.

Google
Excellent food and service! I had an issue with the valet parking, but the owner himself went out of his way to fix the issue and make sure I was happy. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I genuinely think that this is one of the best Korean barbecue spots to visit, I love that. They have Mexican fusion Korean barbecue, if you ask for tortillas they offer it and their side sauces are like chimichurri and unique. The meat quality was also really good and they were really attentive a little bit too sweet for my liking but everything else was so delicious! There is a lot of seating and is open late night so good for big groups, there is parking across the street and even though it says valet they let us park for free.

Joann K.

Yelp
This place gets really busy, so come early. I went around 5:30 on a Saturday so I didn't have to wait, but it starts getting packed at around 6:30-7 ish. We weren't too hungry so we just got the pig skin, sausage and veg stir fry, and cold noodles. The meat was ok, but the sauce they give with is bomb! The sausage and veg stir fry was horrible. Don't order that. The cold noodle was delish! Overall this place is popping, the food is on the decent side, service is great. I would come back again, for sure.

Yelp
Me and my friends came to Dae Sung Ro KBBQ and it was such a lovely experience! We ordered the beef combo & I got sososo full. Everything was so yummy + the price point isn't bad. The only con is that this is in an area where parking is so hard to find. We drove around for at least twenty minutes before we found a parking spot -- I wish they had a parking lot. Overall, this place was pretty good but isn't my fav KBBQ spot in LA. I feel like there's better spots out here but it wasn't bad for what it was.

Kelly C.

Yelp
Food: 4 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 4.5 stars I visited on a Saturday night around 6 pm. I wasn't too busy but was packed about an hour later. The service was excellent, and I'd rate the BBQ 4 stars. What really stood out to me was their kimchi-jjigae (kimchi stew), which came with the combo menu. I don't usually order kimchi-jjigae, but I'd definitely get it again here. I even finished an entire bowl of rice with the soup. Definitely had the good energy to enjoy the Saturday night.

Yelp
We luckily arrived on a Friday @ 6:30P because 30 minutes later, this place was packed! Great energy, clean atmosphere, hospitable service, and really good bbq! The Beef Brisket Soybean soup is fantastic, full of richness, zucchini, onion, and bits of beef and firm tofu, I enjoyed each bite despite it being hotter to hades. We started with brisket, which is served with bean sprouts. The group decided it wasn't the best, but made up for it with a second round 86ing the vegetal filler. The sauces give a fun south-American twist, the chimchurri goes great with the short rib. The banchan of pickled veggies were sweet, tart, and crisp. Definitely a must for kbbq!

Julia Y.

Yelp
For three people, we ordered the beef combo, spicy boneless chicken feet, pig skin, and a couple of soju + beer. The total came to $211 before tip, and with a 25% tip, it was $262. Not bad! We put our name down after 6:30 PM and had to wait over 40 minutes, so be prepared for wait times. The meat was quite good, and I enjoyed the fusion of sauces. The usual Korean side dishes were served--radish, kimchi, raw garlic, and bean paste--but they also provided some unique options like pesto and a Mexican spicy sauce, which I really liked. They didn't include greens like lettuce or perilla leaves. I really liked the beef combo. I was excited to try the boneless chicken feet, which are hard to find, but they were too spicy for me. My friends enjoyed them, though, so they were happy to shteal my unclaimed chicken feet. I especially enjoyed the pig skin; it was super chewy, and dipping it in bean powder made it a real treat. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with servers frequently coming by to take care of the grill. I'd definitely return for the great deal and the pig skin.

Yelp
I was introduced to this location by my coworkers. I brought my boyfriend and his brother here. The steamed egg is sooo good we ordered 2 of them both times I came. The tables are small but nothing to complain about. The ambience is fun. They normally have sports on the tv's. This place gets crowded. We ordered the tasting and it was a lot of food. We really liked the cheese corn and the wagyu cut. This places I worth the price point. Parking is good if you get valet. The staff is friendly

Jessica Y.

Yelp
Solid new spot in ktown. Walked in on a Friday night looking for kbbq without a long line. Was seated promptly. We ordered the beef combo set for 2 and it was the perfect amount of food. The banchan was so good. Came with so many dipping sauces as well. There was a pesto like sauce that blew my mind along with whole chunks of garlic and jalapeños. I can never have too much garlic. The pork belly was my favorite. It was so fatty and crispy. At the end they give you the bone as well which iv never seen in ktown. I do wish the banchan came with fish cake or potato salad but either way still great. The server wasn't the best at cooking our food and seemed to forget a lot so we did it ourselves half the time. Fine by me though since I like my meat on the crispier side and usually the waiters take it off too early for me. Food: 4.7/5 Service: 3/5 Ambience: 4.5/5

Sam C.

Yelp
pretty busy for a weekday but not absurdly loud which is good to still be able to have conversations. seating isnt very comfy either. The food was pretty fab.. i think good value for what you get. i came with 4 guys and bill was about 200 before tip so it was decent. I wanted to try to chicken feet but no one else wanted it. whos down to try it with me? "dont yuck my yum" !!!

Jamie Heewon L.

Yelp
I was curious why this place is so popular these days, and now I totally get it. It's the ultimate Korean BBQ spot with fantastic value. The prices are unbelievably good, and the meat quality is solid. A must-try here is definitely the pork belly and marinated short ribs. Make sure to wrap the ribs in tortillas, add onions and hot sauce, and make your own taco - highly recommended. Absolutely delicious! Tips: Strongly recommend arriving around 5 PM when they open. It gets super busy after 7 PM and is even hard to do valet parking.

Melody C.

Yelp
LOVE this BBQ joint! Went with my husband and mom to meet up with family who lives in Ktown and cousin and her husband from Korea. My husband and I HATE going to LA because of all the traffic but this place is worth it. Amazing service from the guys working there. Really good quality meat! Haven't had good quality meat at Korean bbq places in a while. Their stews, fried rice, and noodles dishes are all good too. They have unique yet really delicious sauces. Their hot sauce is very similar to El Taurino! Has really good heat to it. You can ask for tortilla to make tacos using their marinated meat with their hot sauce. They give you cilantro and onion mix too. It is a bit loud but most k-bbq places are. It's good to go as soon as they open because it gets really crowded. And I can see why. Already recommending to friends. Can't wait to go back with friends soon!

Karen B.

Yelp
Food was fresh, delicious, service was phenomenal! The vibe definitely hit there was a good amount of space.

Bryan S.

Yelp
Absolutely BECAME MY FAVORITE INSTANTLY Omg great service, the vibe itself feels like Korean Style Bar, but their main is meat. Now the best part starts here, their quality of the meat is AMAZING. Stew is like something I never had anywhere. Their sauce is on point!!! Please do me a favor and try their hot sauce. I am in LOVE with it. They even cook the meat for you, and also try their fried rice. It is a ONE OF A KIND. There's nothing bad to point out. Their parking is with Valet. Love the vibe of this place also. I wonder why this place was not known already. I am definitely coming back here. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE KNOWN!!!! Thank you guys so much for an amazing place!!!!

Stephanie T.

Yelp
First time arriving at the place at first, I was very surprised when I walked in wasn't what I expected. I came here with my husband we ordered the pork combo And it was so good. at first I was used to those all you can eat Korean barbecue and wasn't thinking that I was going to get full with this but to my surprise! must give this place a try. Now onto the service 10 out of 10, they cook the meal for you.

Jane L.

Yelp
What a great new Korean BBQ place! I came here on a random weekday and it was not busy, so I got seated right away. I have heard it gets hot in here (temperature wise, LOL) and with the current heat wave in LA, I was apprehensive. But, our friends (who has been here) recommended that we ask for a table near the AC, which we got and it was cool throughout the dinner. The service was prompt and once we got seated the banchan came out. As for the food, they have combos (beef and pork) and a la carte items. Since I had never been here before, our group of 4 opted for both the beef and pork combo. The meats were super good and tender. My favorites were the short rib and pork jowl. Both were super tender. The servers would come by and cook for you, which was great so I can eat more (LOL). I would definitely also recommend getting a taco kit, which provides some tortilla and onion/cilantro to make your own tacos. I didn't know I needed this in my life, but once it was ordered, I definitely did. Aside from that, the service was amazing and the prices were reasonable. I am definitely going to come back here. One note though is that parking is pretty bad around here. Very little street parking. There is a valet but they stack the cars, so I imagine when it gets busy, you might be waiting a little for your car. If possible, definitely would recommend Uber to come here.

Robin K.

Yelp
Had Dae Sung Ro couple weeks ago and forgot to add my review. I definitely found this place to have some good BBQ and never got the chance to try it. I like their service as if you buy drinks here, they always add one on the house. Very good and quick service and food is good! You will have to valet

Kyle N.

Yelp
HOT AND NEW would be an understatement. In an area where there are so many choices for kbbq, this place stood out for a number of reasons. First of all, service was incredible. We were immediately sat, and servers came by often to cook our meat and change our grill. One server in particular, Sol, was especially helpful so ask for him. Second, the quality of the meat was good. We ordered their beef combo, which was more than enough food for 2 ppl. And lastly, they had unique sauces. They had this pesto-looking sauce which was actually ground up perilla leaf and another one was a korean spicy version of tikka masala. majority of the customers were korean, so thats how you know this place was legit. all in all -- we came here because the wait at other nearby kbbq spots were too long. food and service were really good, and our server Sol said their pork combo set was fire so we'll def come back for that. parking was tough but they do have valet!

Jacky C.

Yelp
The best bbq place in k town Very good price and good quality of meets You guys should try their chicken feet and also pig skin~!~!

Eugenia L.

Yelp
Quality of food and service was excellent! Got the beef combo and ordered the pork jowl and it was plenty of food for two people but we managed to finish! It was delicious. The beef quality was really good. The beef combo comes with soup, brisket, short rib and marinated short rib. The color of the meat looked really fresh and marbling on the short rib was perfection. They also use kurobuta pork which is exciting! The sauces are great too - a unique sauce they have is their chimichurri since other kbbqs don't have that. They are very attentive in helping you cook and they made sure we had enough garlic and banchans! They don't currently have flavored soju but we were ok with the original sojus. The restaurant is clean and cute! They have valet but not when it gets later into the night. They open late which is great! Excited to come back for more.

Young Kyung K.

Yelp
New KBBQ spot in Koreatown! I had to edit the review because I was in a hurry and wrote a couple sentences as a "bookmark" for the next review. I understand that there are a million Kbbq places in Koreatown but a new bbq spot always sparks my interest and especially because this was close to what it used to be about 10-years ago hahahaha The decor inside is very cute/ hip/ modern, I'm sure the grime will start to collect soon but for now it has a very clean feel and the tables and chairs aren't sticky yet hahaha Their menu is concise and they offer 2 different combo sets; one beef and one pork-- both combos give you a sampler of almost all the meats so I'd say order the combo and figure out which cuts you enjoy the most! For 3 people we ordered the beef combo but felt a little small so we added another a la carte pork cut and fried rice (WOW, do not skip the fried rice tho) You can also order the taco kit! I was so full but that taco was DELICIOUS! Their sauces, AMAZING! I had to ask for another side of their chimichurri sauce; almost drank it HAHA I'm definitely coming back with a better game plan next HAHA

Angella B.

Yelp
Favorite kbbq spot feels authentic and the food is amazing. And the service is 10/10 everyone's so friendly and on everything.

Sue P.

Yelp
Very good quality meat for an affordable price. We came here with no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant has a cute theme, throwback Korean pocha style. The tables were slightly small for 4 but no biggie. The chairs have storage under the seat for your purse or jacket. We got the meat combo and it was enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. We added an order of pork jowl and we couldn't finish it. Get the tortillas to make tacos! It was out of this world. The chadol soybean soup was spectacular and my kids ate 2 bowls of rice each! We were too full to have the fried rice or the cold noodles which I was excited to try. Service was slightly inattentive and we were forced to cook our own meat while I saw other tables get better service. I'm not sure if it's bc they saw me cooking and figured I had it under control or I was forced to cook bc we were underattended to. Also the ceilings are high and some of the tables were super loud and it echoed. They were playing the dodgers game on the big screens though

Sangwook H.

Yelp
Dae Sung Ro has everything you want in a great Korean BBQ restaurant. Great quality of meat, good service and sides and fun ambiance. We had the beef combo but will be trying the pork combo next time, it seems like a great value. Everything was delicious but my favorite was the brisket and the short rib. Brisket wasn't too fatty so it had a nice bite to it which I enjoyed. The short rib was juicy and meaty. The brisket soy-bean stew has surprising amount of brisket in there and is a good break in between all the meats you'll be eating. The staff will cook the meat for you so you don't really have to worry. If it gets busy though, you might wanna keep your eye on them just in case. They do have valet parking but it's a pretty small lot so you may have to find street parking..but that's the only downside to this place. There are lots of Kbbq restaurants in ktown and this is definitely one of the good ones!

Gerico S.

Yelp
Currently daydreaming about this place. We've tried several, and I mean SEVERAL, different KBBQ spots in LA. Out of all the spots we've tried, DSR has consistently been our favorite! From their fresh banchan to their great cuts of meat, DSR never disappoints. The owners/servers are always super attentive, friendly, and quick.

Cindy C.

Yelp
Ordered the beef set menu with a side of bokkeumbap and added cheese. Beef quality is great and the bokkeumbap is huge! The special thing about this place is the perilla leaf chimichurri sauce. Something new yet so familiar as it blends well with the rest of the banchans. Service was great. Waiters were very attentive to everything we needed, and even informed us on the recommended order of meat to eat.

L C.

Yelp
Absolutely my current favorite place even though they used to not take reservations so the wait was intolerable. Meat quality is great and the drinks keep flowing...such a good time here. This is not a fancy place but does Kbbq just right for when you just want to chill and eat with friends. This place takes all cards. There is a tiny lot behind the building but better to take ride share here since you'll be circling the block for days to find street parking.

Sophie K.

Yelp
Dinner here was sooo good! We ordered the pork neck (목살) pork belly (삼겹살) bone in short rib and pig skin (돼지 껍데기) our favorite here was all the pork offerings however the skin was the best. Each bite was delicious chewy goodness. The skin was marinated in a sweet, salty combo and you get a powder dipping (인절미 가루) which enhances the salty sweet. Sides included fermented soy bean soup (된장찌개) a variety of banchan which included white pickled radish, soy pickled radish and jalapeños, green onion head kimchi and cucumber kimchi, fresh jalapeño and garlic+samjang., salad and green onion mix. The dipping sauces were my favorite a garlicky chimichurri, hot sauce which reminded me of the king taco hot sauce and coarse salt. All the meats were cooked with a side of kimchi and bean sprouts The service was excellent, our server cooked all the meats for us. Whenever we needed something it was brought right out and he even gave us service beer :) dinner for four with seven beers and soju was approx $200 not including tip. The ambience is Korean at best with round tables and pocha bar feel. Definitely going back and now one of my favorites.

Ruben L.

Yelp
Best Korean BBQ in L.A. The food was super delicious, their service was 100% and the vibe was great. I recommend this establishment whenever you're in Koreatown, L.A. If you want a Mexican twist, please ask for a tortilla. You will love it. FYI, the servers cook for you.

Amber L.

Yelp
This place is worth braving Friday night Ktown traffic for :') The combos here are a STEAL...my lady and I got the beef combo for $88 and my lady had to tap out early because she was too full. Even though it's on the cheaper side, they do not skimp on the meat quality. The marbling on the beef belly was to die for and ending on the marinated galbi made my tastebuds sing! Adding bean sprouts on top of the beef belly was a genius move, helping me feel a bit healthier. The actual restaurant looked pretty cool. I love the pocha setting. Also, big tip, the chairs have a storage space in them if you lift up the seat!!! Perfect for storing anything that you don't want to smell like kbbq. The service was also nice. The servers cook for you and they're very attentive. The only cons are: no rice paper and it can get real loud and rowdy. If you're looking to catch up with a friend, maybe come earlier or choose a different spot. Besides that, I think I found my go-to kbbq spot in Ktown!

Xavi D.

Yelp
Very good recommendation, also they have TORTILLAS , the tacos we made were actually delicious

Enya L.

Yelp
We were super excited to try this new KBBQ place due to the ease of reservations and decent prices. The quality was good but the food was okay and the portions were small. The beef set was much better than the pork set. The pork belly pieces were quite small. They were definitely understaffed and getting banchan was hectic. There are so many places in LA that you would enjoy more! FYI- Parking is bad so plan time for that!

Rickey M.

Yelp
Yo, what? Came thru with some of my boys for sat night dinner. They took over the old location of Hak San. Showed around 8 and was able to get a table in about 15 min. The area is a bit tight to find parking, so I cant imagine this spot getting super crazy, but I got a feeling as word gets out about this spot that wait is gonna go a little crazy. Lets get to the goods: First off we grabbed the beef combo which comes stacked and is only like$80. I know the menu says thinly sliced wagyu brisket, but theirs is def a bit thicCker than most, but thats welcome. The brisket here is so damn juicy. Follow that up with the boneless short rib, and we got another beefy juicy bomb. Next was the House Special Beef, we were all confused cause the meat got even better with this. Juicy AF, Tender AF, all the AFs. Kalbi/Marinated Short Rib: Fire. I normally skip the marinated cuts, but even if this wasnt part of the combo I would order it. All the meat was so good that we ended up ordering a 2nd round of the house special beef (i forgot to ask but im gonna assume its jummeleok) and the Brisket. This place is a vibe, but the beef quality easily tops 95% of all kbbq in ktown. I've gotta go back and try the pork selections, but I'm sure those will be just as good. For those searching for Zero Sugar Soju they have Saero, and trying it for the first time its crisp and smooth AF. Its a small spot, with challenging parking, but once you get inside and start trying to meat they have it'll all just become noise. Shout out to Sam our server he showed us the way. Top 3 for me in Ktown. Straight fire. Come here.

Emma K.

Yelp
Friendly & fast service, lively atmosphere and very tasty food. I would recommend the thin cut pork belly bbq (ssamgyopsal) - it's not fatty as you would expect pork would be as it's thinly sliced. They have great alcohol selection and their banchan is very good as well. Great for groups and casual dining.

Daniel F.

Yelp
I absolutely love this kbbq spot!! The beef combo set is absolutely delicious, seasoned so good, and the perfect portion for 2-3 ppl. I went here three times already and the service has always been so friendly and top notch. Banchan is absolutely fire (the green onion ends are my favorite). The ambiance is so chill and lively with a range of old to new korean songs playing on the speakers. Can't recommend this place enough - 10/10

Nicole V.

Yelp
Came here with my family a group of 11, we called ahead and they were able to accommodate. They warned us about how bad parking could be and they were not lying, definitely consider taking an Uber unless you want to circle for 30 minutes. We ordered 2 beef and 1 pork combos. Everything was delicious and l appreciated them not pushing us to order more which has been my experience at other restaurants when you have a large group. My favorite part is they have offer lettuce and shiso which is way better than rice paper. Fun fact - the chairs lift up for storage. We will definitely be back.

JJ C.

Yelp
Best Korean BBQ Pork place ever. I have tried many KBBQ spots in K-Town, DSR has the best pork menus by far. And their cha-dol brisket is another level. Highly recommended!!

Federico L.

Yelp
Decent Kbbq spot! I used to come to this spot years ago back when it was an AYCE spot. The interior is much different now after the numerous re-brandings. They have multiple TVs around so you can probably catch whatever big sporting event is going on. Music is a bit loud which is typical by now. I went on a Friday at around 7 for dinner and the place was packed, even for a table for two. We had to wait about 20 minutes. I think the wait would be much shorter here if it weren't for the fact that people constantly come out to take a smoke break. We went for the beef combo which was the perfect amount for two guys. My favorite was their house special beef while my friend liked the marinated short rib. The meat was pretty good quality and decently priced. Good side dish options as well!

Judy J.

Yelp
Great service and good food, pork quality is good and their noodles and fried rice was also great! I would highly recommend this place for casual Sunday dinner.

Aleyna L.

Yelp
Best kkq place I've visited in a while! I came here with my coworkers and besties and left very happy and full The service was superb and menu quality was very reasonable and great. I will definitely will be back! Love the new atmosphere and i could see the owner took real good care for the details

Camille L.

Yelp
service, food, and ambience were 10/10 the meat is good quality, the banchan was great, everything was perfectly spicy and salty. only bad thing about this place was parking, but that's ktown for ya. not the restaurants fault!

Jahnny L.

Yelp
For anyone and everyone who has and will eat here: they will adjust your tips after you leave. Be very cautious of the total amount that shows on your bank statement. The drunk servers running a sh*t show do nothing but the bare minimum expecting a good tip. haha what a joke. They added over $10 in tips on their own. This place is so shady and that is a act of fraud. And the food was meh. This place is all for show. The food and service was a joke. HOW PETTY CAN YOU BE TO STEAL $10+? GO THINK ABOUT YOUR MORALITIES. YA'LL SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Alex A.

Yelp
This place seems to be the hot place in Ktown thesedays. Friendly service, decent price compared to other places. The food quality was great with a true Korean ambiance. Highly recommended!

Travis C.

Yelp
Came here in a group of 8 after seeing a BAPROSS review from Tik Tok and I've gotta say the food here is GREAT. This place could easily be a 5 stars if they just took care of a couple small issues. They have no brisket sauce here which isn't a deal breaker (its salt, this weird vinegary hot sauce, and a DELICIOUS perilla leaf chimichurri) and NO KIMCHI which seems pretty weird to me. We ordered 2 portions of the large beef with the soybean soup which was spicy and delicious. The brisket and short plate here are EXCEPTIONAL, some of the best brisket I've had in a long while and the short plate is extremely tender and juicy. The marinated short rib and rib fingers were good but nothing special. This all pairs nicely with their green onion salad which may be my favorite of all time considering I'm typically not a fan of green onion salad. Another plus is the refreshing corn water. The service was average, the only complaints were that the servers didn't really sear the meats that well and that the chairs suck. They're way too small and uncomfy for even your average sized dude. On another note, the pricing here is incredible. For the 8 of us it turned out to be $35 each and we all left full with valet ONLY being $3 (cheapest maybe anywhere)!

Yelp
This place is crazy good. We ordered the beef combo, kimchi fried rice and steamed egg and we totally enjoyed everything. Meats are tender and great quality. The service is exceptional. Definitely coming back again.

Yelp
This is an absolute must try in LA. They have the best pork belly & jowl in town. The staff is amazing and so attentive. The vibe is fun and feels authentic. 10/10 must try.

Yelp
Great food. OMG everything was so delicious I can't get over it and the service was exceptional. We showed up at 11pm and had the best meal of our lives. My favorite was the pork stew. I couldn't get enough. I will definitely be back so glad we ran into this place.

Yelp
I came here with a group of 4 on a Saturday night and was prepared to wait since we got there around 7pm. We were 10th on the waitlist. What I didn't expect was to wait 1.5 hours because people kept cutting us who weren't on the waitlist (so we were really 15th on the list). I guess if you know the employees there or can speak Korean, they'll let you bypass the waitlist. That was frustrating especially since waiting outside was already sketch with the homeless people harassing people outside. The food itself was pretty good but service was confusing. They were understaffed (about 3-4 workers) doing everything (wait list management, clearing tables, taking orders, cooking, etc). It was confusing because our waiter would help us cook one item and disappear so we were confused if we should do it ourselves. After not coming back when we were done with the first round, we just cooked the rest of the meat ourselves. TL;DR: Good food but service is really lacking unless you're friends with the workers and drink with them. Be warned that the area is sketch and parking is really bad. Do not go on busy nights like the weekend, the wait list is not accurate because people will cut you if they know the workers.

Yelp
I am so happy we came here! Just moved down the street and was looking for something that would be a hole in the wall. I assumed they were a smaller venue but later realized they are just new. The food was amazing very clean meat, the service was even better and later learned all the owners are server's, which makes me give this place a 10/10. Being in the service industry myself you understand what makes a place long lasting and they have it. I have to give a special shout out to SOL, he made us feel right at home and welcomed us as family. I can't wait to come back!!! Thanks again, a must try

Yelp
Here because Dap Ross sent me. The pork combo is perfect for two people. The porky pieces are perfect texture and taste. (11/10). Banchan (10/10). The vibe was perfect too. They have an older vibe to it like serving the barley water from an old school del Monte orange juice jug. The employees are running back and forth like most kbbq spots so it would be good to know what you will order ahead of time.
