"Hakata’s Quincy spot is a popular choice for its ramen, featuring a dozen options, most of which are made with a pork bone-based broth. Also on the menu: sushi burgers and sushi burritos. Sibling locations can be found in Boston’s Back Bay (under the name Berklee Noodles Factory) and in Waltham." - Erika Adams, Valerie Li Stack, Eater Staff

"Hakata Ramen already operates two restaurants — one in Quincy and one in Boston’s Back Bay, the latter of which is called Shin Hakata Ramen — and now it has tapped Waltham for its next expansion. The Japanese restaurant specializes in ramen and sushi, and husband-and-wife team Simon Su and Jing Zhang will be running the Waltham location, which takes over the space that was previously home to Sabatino’s Italian Kitchen at 895 Main St., according to Patch. (They also run the Back Bay location, and Su is a co-owner of the Quincy one, per a 2017 Boston Globe “cheap eats” review of the Boston location.)" - Dana Hatic

Google
Quick service, I was in and out in about 40. Good gyoza, great ramen. I was craving some good Ramen after my recent trip to Japan and this place fit the bill. Craving satisfied. I definitely recommend this place and will go again!!

Google
Ramen noodles are unique due to their ingredients and preparation. They are make from wheat flour, water, salt, and kansui, a type of alkaline mineral water that gives them their charaateristic chewy texture and yellow color. Unlike many other noodles, ramen is often served in a rich, flavorful broth and accompanied by various toppings like meats, vegetables, and eggs, enhancing its distinctiveness in noodle cuisine.

Google
The fastest ramen place, I have been to. I ordered miso Soup, Avocado sushi and kara age. Within few minutes, the miso Soup and sushi was on the table. We had ordered veggie ramen and that was served steaming hot pretty quick. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. The food was food. The only thing I would have loved to see is more chicken based ramen soups. The broth for most of them was pork. But the other than, it's place worth visiting. The prices are decent and place is nice.

Google
What a great experience! The staff was so nice, helpful, and friendly. The ramen is incredible and the most authentic I've ever had. Presentation was just as great, and fair warning, the ramen is hot!! A must go to when in the area.

Google
Best ramen Ive ever had, spicy beef ramen is a must have.

Google
Food here was delicious. Not pictured was the salmon sushi burrito. So worth it! Highly recommend. The ramen was spectacular. Very good. I got the katsu ramen and the chicken came separately, it was not in the broth. Service was friendly. Def will come back.

Google
This is a wonderful spot for high quality Japanese food. The inside is rather small, about 5-6 tables. The folks working there were all very attentive, kind, and polite. They accommodated our requests for our food and everything came out hot and fresh. This place is a gem with a HUGE menu of unique items. They have sushi burritos, sushi pizza, poke bowls, ma po tofu ramen, and a lot more. I will definitely be back. Yaki Gyoza - pan fried, well seasoned filling, and an unbeatable crust at the bottom. Served with a delicious sauce, highly recommended. 5/5 Karaage - Perfectly breaded and fried chicken. I only wish there was a sauce to dip them in or a lemon to cut the fried flavor. Still delicious and recommended though. 4/5 Hakata Gekikara Ramen - A delicious and spicy miso broth, beautifully charred chashu pork, and well cooked noodles. I can’t wait to try the others, but this was a great start. 4/5 Katsu Curry - There aren’t a lot of places to get katsu curry in the area and they didn’t disappoint. The curry complimented the potatoes and carrots. The pork cutlet was nicely breaded and fried to perfection. It was comforting and soothing. I will definitely be back for this. 5/5

Google
I got the shrimp & vegetable tempura and my sister got the Sushi burrito. The shrimp was fresh and lightly battered it was delicious the vegetables where lightly battered and it was not crispy on outside and moist inside. Sushi burrito was delicious, fresh and a large size in burrito!

Yelp
The ramen is consistently delicious and the service is always great. My husband and I frequent this spot when we are craving ramen but don't want to go too far. I usually get the katsu ramen (katsu comes on the side) and my husband gets the spicy one on the menu. Great place!

Yelp
My S.O. has an unsophisticated tongue said this place is good. I was reluctant to go but I was hungry and this place didn't have a line. So I budged. The place is underwhelming but the staff members were very hardworking and always checked on everybody. The photos didn't look appetizing but I thought it would still be okay. However, a picture is worth a thousand words and in it, the truth. It was very mediocre. The food reminded me of something you'd get at a fast food joint at a food court. To be fair, my S.O. is a value seeker so for its price, it matches perfectly for its quality. I'm a quality over quantity type of person so to be fair, a solid 3 stars for its superb service and value for its food.

Yelp
My cousins were telling me this is a place they like to get sushi from. So for our Christmas gathering, I decided to get a sushi platter from them. I placed an online order and called to confirm that I would be picking it up at my decided time. The staff at Hakata told me it would be ready. I got there and I had to wait at least 10 more minutes than I expected but what could I do? Let me tell you when that sushi platter hit the table and the cover was removed, my family were animals and devoured all that sushi. That was the first item to go. I guess my cousins were right the sushi at Hakata is good. Good thing, I got myself a sushi burrito. I only got to eat 4 pieces of sushi from the platter so I felt I didn't get enough. The burrito helped. I guess next time if we have another gathering I'll consider getting another sushi platter.

Yelp
We stopped by Hakata Ramen on Monday night since it's one of my mom's favorite places to go. We ordered their ramen and tuna rice bowl. The food was delicious. The restaurant is small and it seemed like a very popular takeout place vs. dine in. The door is right at the center so it gets a bit chilly with a breeze when people enter and exit the restaurant.

Yelp
The Hakata teriyaki Ramen Soup was just what I wanted and more. I started with an appetizer Ebi Shumai, one of my favorites. Tiny chopped pieces of shrimp deep fried with a little bit of a sweet taste and the soy sauce just compliments the shumai, which was at least 6 pieces of pure delight. I ordered the beef Ramen with bamboo slices, black mushrooms, egg, bean sprouts, and spinach. The Beef was so tender and tasted like it was cooked in sauce just the slightest teriyaki flavor. The noodles were plentiful and I couldn't eat the big Ramen bowl so now I have some for lunch tomorrow. Yum. Our waiter James was so pleasant and great at his job. My guest can't eat pork based broth so he substituted it for a meisu broth. We also tried Hakata Tempura Ramen and all the tempura was on the side so it wasn't soggy. Vegetables were so delicious. The Shrimp was fresh fried in tempura at least 2/3 shrimps, a large sweet potato, pumpkin, and 2 large pieces of taro and a large piece of broccoli. These were all lightly battered in tempura and not a bit greasy. Enough vegetables to share for two people. We ordered an extra egg to also share. Wonder little gem of a place. It's a pork based broth but you don't taste the pork. The place has about 7-8 tables and very busy, but you don't even notice this at all. The crew works together bringing out the food. They are a well oiled crew all working together to make your meal seamless. Definitely a place I'll be back to for soup.

Marcus W.

Yelp
I got the shrimp & vegetable tempura and my sister got the Sushi burrito. The shrimp was fresh and lightly battered it was delicious the vegetables where lightly battered and it was not crispy on outside and moist inside. Sushi burrito was delicious, fresh and a large size in burrito! The place was clean and the serve was good and seating was comfortable. Kid friendly also my sister got white rice for my 20 month old niece and she ate all of it!

Yi L.

Yelp
Love this spicy ramen. I have table for 4 people. We spent about $72 . The service was nice

John H.

Yelp
Hakata is an ok option when you are craving ramen for takeout. I got the Friday special which came with ramen, sushi, and katsu don. The ramen was a bit sparse with the toppings but came with a garlicky broth that I liked. If you don't like garlic, go with a different broth. There were 3 pieces of sushi. It tasted fine. Nothing memorable but get the job done. I wasn't a big fan of the katsu don though. The curry was a bland and the katsu was soggy (probably because it was takeout and been sitting there for awhile). Getting a chance to taste all 3 dishes for $19 was a decent deal though.

Adian S.

Yelp
The food is incredible! The service is unbelievably quick! The restaurant is over all a very chill and lowkey place. Plus the pricing cannot be beat. Especially in a place as expensive as Mass. There's plenty of street parking and a large free parking lot less than a block away. We went after attending a card show in Quincy & have already decided we're coming back here then next time we're in the area. The only down side is that the restaurant only has like 6 small tables (give or take) and a very small (maybe 2 or 3 seats) amount of bar space so there's not a lot of room & it can get decently loud when every table is full.

Mary R.

Yelp
Ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura entree. The shrimp had a very thick coat of panko on it and the veggies had a horrible tasting batter on them and were very over cooked. Couldn't even it eat -or send it back since I got take out. Very disappointed.

Julia T.

Yelp

Yelp
I recently dined at this ramen restaurant in Quincy, and my experience left me with mixed feelings. The broth, although served hot, was a bit bland for my taste. I appreciate the hot serving temperature, but I was hoping for a more flavorful broth. Another aspect that caught my attention was the verily limited toppings on the ramen. It left me wanting more variety and excitement in my bowl. On the positive side, the noodles were cooked to perfection, with a great texture. However, they lacked any discernible flavor, which was disappointing. In terms of value, I felt that this place fell a bit short. The price didn't quite match the overall dining experience. That said, considering the limited ramen options in Quincy, this might be the best choice for now. All in all, I'd rate this ramen restaurant a solid 3 out of 5. It has its strengths, especially in the noodle preparation, but there's room for improvement in terms of flavor and value.

Mikayla R.

Yelp
Ever since moving to Quincy this has become my #1 comfort food spot! The ramen here is so good that it's addicting. Small place so they have limited seating, but the service is still lovely!

Kimmy M.

Yelp
This is My favorite noodle soup place. The place is small, just has few tables, but The service was excellent. The price was reasonable! It worth to wait for a table!

Melanie W.

Yelp
Local friendly... ordered sushi for take out. Place my order through doordash and is ready within 20 mins... all specialty roll. All ingredients are fresh, high recommended

Shelly M.

Yelp
if I could I'd give this place 0 stars. just had the worst lunch there. I ordered a California maki and salmon maki with a R8 with chicken and let me tell you something. the chicken tasted very tuff but I still ate it. I thought that was all that was wrong with it. but the noodles started tasting horrible so I said "hey I'm sorry I can't eat this can I please send it back" and the bigger Asian lady gave me a attitude and said " you must eat or you can't leave" and all the staff started laughing about it. so I ended up having to pay for a meal I didn't even remotely enjoy especially with horrible service. if some recommendations this place DO NOT EAT HERE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY.

Radhika J.

Yelp
Small place with great tasting food. The Ramen was really delicious and made perfectly the way we asked for

Nan K.

Yelp
I stopped by for dinner after a long day of work and it was exactly what I needed! They have such an extensive menu but with really well thought out ramen flavors and combos for each day of the week. This ramen is my go to because of how comforting and rich the broth is. The toppings are also of decent quality and pretty delicious. It's sort of a well balanced dinner with greens, 3 slices of chashu pork, egg, and of course the noodles. The noodles were thick and wavy but not too heavy. Not the best ramen I've ever had but all of this for $12+ is so worth it!

Neo C.

Yelp
SOOO GOOD!! never had a bad meal here, its a little hole in the wall but god do i love it. their katsu ramen is so good but their like. plain chashu (?) (its r1 on the menu) is ALSO so good!! good food all around

Alex L.

Yelp
Came for lunch on 7/31, 2 bowls of ramen for $39 after tax+tip. Stopped in on a hot day after playing 2 hours of tennis outside, which was probably a good start to build some anticipation since anything liquid and salty would be amazing. First impression: it's kinda hot in here. I get that it's 85 and sunny outside, and you have a whole kitchen in the back, but... it's a little bit uncomfortably hot. Lots of different things on the menu (big appetizer section was intriguing), including many different sushi/sashimi/ramen options. I definitely felt a bit rushed to order, way too many options for the amount of time I was given, and ended up seeing a few neat things on the wall/at other tables after I'd ordered. Anyways, I went with the spicy miso pork bone ramen. The ramen soup base is actually quite good (very garlic-y!) but I only know that because my partner got the non-spicy version (it had a pork katsu on the side that was great). Mine was DOUSED in chili oil (and it's actually fairly spicy chili oil too). Not sure if this is the intention or how the ramen is traditionally presented, but I've certainly never had quite that much chili oil in my food - if you're one of the people who can't get enough chili oil you might have enjoyed it more, but it was too much for me. Char siu was average - had a good char on it but not nearly fatty enough of a piece, and it was cut really thinly, would have preferred 2 thicker pieces for the more satisfying bite instead of 3 thinner ones. At nearly $20 per bowl after tax and tip, not sure I'd be back even though my partner's bowl was better than mine, there is pretty stiff competition very near by for noodle soups and there's many better ramens closer to Cambridge/Boston.

Arianna D.

Yelp
My wife and I loved!!!! This no frills ramen place. While it is small with limited seating, the food was DELICIOUS and came out very quickly. We would definitely go back.

Bo T.

Yelp
Cute ramen place. I like their weekday lunch special. You get a bowl of ramen and 2 other mini side dishes. I love their chirashi bowl or sashimi bowl. Waitstaff's are friendly and professional. Food comes out pretty fast!

Lexi S.

Yelp
Great ramen bowl! I got the chicken teriyaki ramen bowl and I can't believe I finished it! It was huge! Dumplings were great too. Definitely recommend.

Joshua H.

Yelp
Of all the Ramen spots Boston and south, this is by far my favorite. Must get- Hakata Maki Fav bowl - r2 spicy chasu Hon mention - katsu-don I cannot recommend this place enough, quick, hot, tasty. My only gripe is it only sits 2 dozen people.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Menu has a diverse selection of ramen and is very accommodating to modifications. Excellent broth and quick service!

Monique M.

Yelp
I thought it was really good here I don't know why the ratings aren't higher. Parking is difficult but it's definitely worth the trip

Angela L.

Yelp
Not the best ramen I've had for sure. I ordered the Chashu ramen -- the chashu pieces were tough to the point it took effort to pull apart pieces and chew thoroughly and the egg was completely hard boiled. Based on the pictures on the menu, it's likely that all of their ramen has hard boiled eggs instead of the usual soft boiled. The broth was nice and the noodles had a good texture however. Otherwise, place is small but clean and has some scenic pictures along the walls. Also has a sushi bar that I didn't try out

Thomas A.

Yelp
really good. friendly staff. good quality sushi and ramen. just think this place has a cool vibe.

Hannah Z.

Yelp
One of the better ramen places in Quincy! I love getting the kimchi ramen. Amazing flavor and decently priced. Always my go to!

Eli F.

Yelp
Went here today and didn't have a great experience, servers were very friendly but the food I ordered was quite bad. I ordered the "Maze soba w.o soup" and it didn't taste very good, not horrible, not the worst, but not good. Only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because the server was really nice :) I personally would not go here again.

Mark T.

Yelp
Even though I've gotten food here twice, takeout both times. First time I got the Maki combo for lunch, and second time around the Spicy Maki Combo. No ramen yet, though I'm definitely not against it in the future. Overall the sushi is good, and better than supermarket quality. The rice was of high quality, and the roll was more or less balanced. No issues with the fish either. Now, out of what I'd ordered, even for spicy lovers, I would go for the Maki Combo as there is a nicer assortment of sushi there. In other words, you can actually taste a difference between the three kinds of rolls. The regular combo has a little heat, don't you worry. It's just not in every piece. This is where this place's weakness comes through. In the Spicy Maki Combo, the rolls looked the same and tasted the same. It wasn't until I look a few apart that I noticed the fish inside was different. The piece was a little towards the smaller side, perhaps if it was a tad bigger a difference would be more noticeable. Hakata works great as a workday lunch or dinner when you're too lazy to cook. I'll put it to you this way, if you want to treat yourself, this could work. If you want to "treat yo self" or otherwise celebrate something, there could be better options. Prices are reasonable and competitive for what you get and the area. Oh, and the small miso soup and green salad are unmemorable (other than the delightful dressing) but a nice touch nonetheless. I almost gave three stars, but trying to justify it all I could come up with is the homogeneity of the Spicy combo. Otherwise, this place meets expectations, which is a solid four stars.

Mia C.

Yelp
This little hole in the wall has top quality ramen and sushi--fresh comfort food. I enjoy eating at the unpretentious eatery off Hancock street versus takeout. Just a nice place to have a low key meal with friendly service.

Puika Y.

Yelp
There isn't much ramen options in Quincy. We like coming here from time to time. They have the best combo deal that is different every weekday (only Monday through Friday) Today is Monday, it comes with a mini unagi don, 3 pieces of California maki, and Hakata ramen (you can choose the spicy one if you like) it's pretty flavorful but definitely can't compare to the ramen places in the city.

Paola M.

Yelp
Food did not taste good, plus ramen did not come with seasoned egg or veggies - those items are an additional cost.

Jennie P.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite ramen places in Quincy and it's a cozy little place. Sometimes they do get a bit of a wait so we try to go on the weekdays. They have daily ramen specials with an extra side dish, and there are a wide array of ramen choices and sushi as well! I've tried their sashimi assortment and it always tastes fresh and the serves are always kind.

Judi G.

Yelp
I needed a soup fix. I was thinking about trying Ramen soup. American restaurants generally have soup that's adequate, but not excellent. I remember one night going into Hancock Tavern and saw a line of a dozen people waiting to get into Hakata Ramen, so it is popular. I walked in and was met with a friendly hello, I did not know what to order, so I picked their namesake , the Hakata Ramen. Quickly served my to go order and off I went home. I was so pleased , fresh, flavor was astonishing, and enough for 3 meals. My new favorite ....Hakata Ramen

Oanh P.

Yelp
I ordered take out here a few times throughout 2020-2021 and its on and off. The ramen broth here is much more bland than other places I've tried in Boston/Harvard Sq. Sometimes I enjoy the rich broth but other times I want it plain, so I go here. At times, I received more noodles than others and I always order the same Chashu ramen. That's the only complain I have here. I also tried the salmon bowl and that was pretty fresh/tasty. It's not the best ramen but it's the closest one available in the South Shore area. Give it a try.

B D.

Yelp
I had very bad experience at this restaurant. There were only two tables when I came in and while I was eating, a group of five white teenagers walked in asking for a table. The front girl really got a nurve asking me to move to smaller table so she could give my table to those kids. I said "No, I am already sitting here." So freaking rude. Maybe she picked on me because I did not speak Chinese even though I am Asian looking. I was pissed how I was treated as a customer but I still left 20% tip for my server because she did nothing wrong. Food is not that great and little pricey. I will not be coming back.

Nora W.

Yelp
Pure perfection, I didn't want my bowl to ever end. It was just blissful. Cannot wait to go back. I think I love this place more than my children.

Elaine C.

Yelp
I got take out the first time and sat inside for ramen the second time I've been here. Both experiences were great. This is a small ramen/sushi spot but was not disappointed at all. The food comes out relatively quick which who doesn't appreciate? Because I sure do! The sushi was nice and fresh as expected when I got take out. Their ramen was a pretty decent size. I got R9 which consisted of pork based broth soup topped pork katsu, black mushroom, egg, bean sprouts, bamboo shoot, and spinach for $13.95. I also added a side of corn for an additional cost. The broth was not bad. The chicken katsu was really juicy and crispy at the same time. The service here was great. Server was nice and friendly. The only down side is its located on a busy street so it's hard to find parking.

Kathy N.

Yelp
I went here for dinnertime on a weekday. My boyfriend and I were the only patrons there. We ordered the R2 and R10 ramen, which were alright. It wasn't bad but it isn't amazing either. For a couple dollars more, you could go to Santouka, which is better tasting, higher in quality, and they provide sides! Here, you'd have to pay a few dollars for each additional side, so not worth it IMO. Their eggs are also slightly overcooked to the point where part of the yolk begins to grey. Most ramen places I've gone to give you a soft boiled egg. I could've overlooked this but my boyfriend and I each only received half of an egg, which I thought was strange and honestly kind of cheap. The pork was alright. I received a generous portion of it in my R2, but the R10 only had two slices. The customer service was below average for me. After the server gave us our dishes, we were never checked up on again until we were finished. Even then, I think they only came over and saw us because their phone rang so they were getting up anyway. It's a bit pricey for what you get. I would probably only come back if I was craving ramen really bad and didn't want to drive into the city, but I would stick to take-out.

Yuka Y.

Yelp
Surprisingly this place has decent offerings for tonkotsu ramen as an independent restaurant in Quincy. Dare I say comparable to Santouka. Rec: (+) Hakata Gekikara Ramen- a must for spicy fans. Pork cha shu is excellent, good fat to meat ratio. Tonkotsu broth is milky and decently flavored. 2 visits here and it has not disappointed. They do take reservations for groups.

Emily C.

Yelp
I'm usually not the biggest fan of ramen, however, I've reconsidered. My sister and I ordered R2, R6, butter corn and a caterpillar maki which were all delicious! The service is great and very quick. It gets busy and customers end up standing by the door (even outside) making it uncomfortable to eat because they're glaring at your dishes haha!

Sandra G.

Yelp
Ordered lunch bento. Beef teriyaki bento. The beef was so good.. i will order again next time! Beef teriyaki over rice, california maki, salad, miso soup.

Keyser S.

Yelp
Fresh and delicious take-out experience. Definitely worth a try if you like Sushi. We will definitely oder again.

Eric D.

Yelp
They have a huge selection on the menu from bento boxes, ramen, sushi, and even sushi burritos. I was pretty overwhelmed with it--but of course in a good way. We had the spicy tuna salad appetizer which wasn't bad--portion was a bit small though. The spicy tuna salad was a mix of tuna and seaweed salad and other sauces combined. For lunch I had the Hakata yakinuku ramen (r6 in the menu) and I thought it was bit below average. The soup was on the saltier side. Also lacked the bamboo shoots which is one of my favorites. Either way, wasn't bad--especially with the frigid temps lately. It'll definitely warm you up. Overall, the ramen wouldn't stop me from visiting here--the service was great. Ii would probably try something else next time since they got tonzzz on the menu to feast on. Cheerzzzz and enjoy.

Kendall D.

Yelp
Pretty solid ramen for takeout, in an area without a lot of great ramen options. I tried two ramens, the Yakiniku and the Teriyaki chicken ramen, and while both were very tasty and satisfying meals I felt like both were just a few steps away from the authentic ramen I've had before on the West Coast. Maybe it's the broth, maybe it's how the noodles were cooked (granted this was takeout so they can't control how much you heat or reheat at home and maybe it was my own fault). The half eggs in the ramen are hard boiled, which just felt weird to me... Also was very curious about the potato wrapped shrimp--pretty good!! Overall I would try it again when I have a hankering for ramen but can't go all the way in to the city.

Abigail L.

Yelp
Not only is the food expensive (cost me $130) but it wasn't good and neither was the service. WOULD NOT SUGGEST. I am very disappointed with my experience today. I should have figured that I wouldn't have a good experience due to the 3.5 star rating but I trusted the good reviews that were left and brought my family there. The food was subpar, I ordered 3 things of sushi, fried gyoza, spring rolls, chicken wings, avocado salad, ramen, and 2 drinks. The food came out pretty fast which is helpful when your hungry but overall is not a good sign. I had to ask the waiter for my drinks because he forgot. The fried gyoza and spring rolls were okay, the sushi was gross in my opinion, and the ramen did not have flavor. You would expect this being a ramen spot they would do better with ramen. I took 2 bites of the avocado salad and was done with it. The chicken was gross and I ended up taking it home to feed to my dog. One sushi was fine, and the other two I left about half of each. In the end truthfully I did not want to tip because the waiter never came over and asked how we were doing, if we needed anything else, and again I had to remind him about my drinks. On top of that I didn't like the food. I thought I made it clear I did not want to tip when I signed the check and put the total on the line and nothing on the tip line. The waiter asked me if I was going to put something there or pay cash tip and I said no. He proceeded to bring me over a pen so I could write something in the tip section to where I put $0.00. He then said so cash and I said no again. He walks away for a second comes back and says so cash tip to where my family member felt pressured to tip because he would not stop asking. I would have gladly tipped him if I liked the food or the service but I didn't. To force someone to tip you is not good service. I know some would say not tipping isn't proper etiquette but when you watch other customers receive good service and not have to get up to ask for a single thing and you receive the bare minimum it doesn't feel too enticing to tip. Also if you're wondering about the ambiance it's a very small space. Luckily when I went there was only 2 other customers.

Eunice I.

Yelp
I've been ordering from Hakata Ramen for years ever since I moved to Quincy, and although I've seen a significant price increase from when I started ordering, I must say the food quality has remained the same. I really enjoy their sushi--especially the king crab maki and scallop maki. I could probably eat those everyday if I was being honest. They are quick with the order, and I really can't complain.

Kathryn M.

Yelp
Stopped in here today for a quick lunch during the work day. The restaurant was small and relatively quiet, but clean and the service was friendly. I am not super familiar with Ramen, but the menu had pictures; which was extremely helpful for the illiterate. Now to discuss the actual food. I ordered a teriyaki ramen with chicken. The bowl came out warm with noodles, the meat, sprouts, an egg, bamboo shoot and spinach. The meat definitely could have used a little more sauce, but the pork based broth was flavorful. Overall I'm still giving the place 4 stars because it is truly a gem in the otherwise barren area.
