The 15 Best Vegan Restaurants in Tokyo, Japan | Eater

"Tucked away in a little side street of snazzy Hiroo, this tiny takeout-only shop is the experimental laboratory of patissier Haruo Okada, who is the force behind the vegan desserts at cafes like Wired Bonbon and Futaba Fruits Parlor. Okada grasps the full potential of plant-based ingredients in baking, and his expertise shines through in the lineup of classic Japanese favorites: iconic strawberry shortcake, rich Mont Blanc, smooth custard pudding, impressive cheesecake, and seasonal tarts. Buy a couple slices to enjoy in nearby Arisugawa Park. Note that the shop accepts only cashless payments on-site." - Chiara Terzuolo

Stopped by this place in accident as we were at Hyozaemon shopping for chopsticks. Saw this as we were exiting so had to stop by. We were not disappointed. The food is well manicured and the counter person took great care to make sure it traveled well, packing it with ice and all. Everything is vegan and can be by the slice or whole pie. Slices are about 800 yen each. For vegan food, that is competitive. Very tasty and no hint of coconut so am not sure what they use for the oil base. It is well worth a visit.

This small, cute vegan patisserie was on my Japan vegan bucket list for a while, and I’m glad I was finally able to check it out, well I got there 5 minutes before they closed, but I was still able to buy two delicious choco cakes options. They were delicious, not too sweet and not dry, which is quite normal for vegan cakes. The shop is a bit pricey, but worthy.

This tiny vegan sweet store has delicious looking Vegan desserts. While there's a couple seats outside, it's mostly for pre ordering cakes. You're better off going to hiroo park which is 3 minutes walk away We had the royal chocolate cake, strawberry soy rare cheese tart and mont blanc. They were soft, sweet, and light. I'd highly recommend the latter two! They were so good that we actually went back and had the cheesecake. I think it's probably the best baked classic style vegan cheesecake I've had!

Beautiful little vegan dessert bar. Everything is presented so perfectly you almost wouldn’t want to eat it. It was a really hot day and they kindly gave me two ice blocks to keep the cake I bought from overheating after I left. The cake itself was delicious, a nice mix between a strawberry sponge and a fruit sandwich. There’s a good selection to choose from as well.

A nice little vegan cakes shop. The cakes was tasty, the staff was nice and friendly, and the store has a nice sweet smell. I think it's only take away,as i didn't see a place where you can seat.

Incredible vegan cakes! No cash, only credit cards. Very small shop, mostly pre-ordered cakes but some individual slices are available for takeaway each day.
