Delicious food and fresh ingredients! Got the mix over rice. Some of the best I've ever had. Every part is very flavorful. Huge portions and you get lots of everything not just a big pile of rice. Easily enough for 2 people. Made very quickly too.

So before you start saying oh just another Halal Spot, this place has over 1600 Google reviews with the 4.8 average definitely stands out from the rest of them. The food quality and customer here is just different! They’re open daily till 4 AM. 🚨 They’ve got pound 4 pound the best chai in New York. Customer service is the beginning of any sale, and so it's good when a customer comes to a business and they're greeted nicely. Halal Eats, has this down and I was happy to spend money with them. I ordered the chicken platter with rice french fries white sauce with salad. It looks good tastes good, and there was enough for two meals. I ate some them and saved the rest for later. Since 1990 I haven't eaten pork, beef or any other red meat. It wasn't until around 1998 when I started eating poultry and fish again. Being a person who is sort of a naturopathic practitioner I'm concerned about eating clean. I've always been interested in trying out a Halal eatery, and so I decided to try Halal Eats in Elmhurst (Queens) NY. These days I'm striving to eat more fruits and vegetables than anything but now I know a go to spot when I'm in the area. On top of this the platter was under $15. In NYC to get a healthy meal, poultry, grains and salad This Was a Big Deal. I appreciated the hospitality and the good food. Just walking in the place looks like any other NYC fast food spot with a little area to eat. But the customer service and food is top notch. FOOD IS AMAZING!!!! Halal eats is the best! They got my order done quick, it was beautifully packed and they stuffed it too! It’s worth the price. Staff is kind and respectful and the food was delicious!!!! I am definitely going back. I wish I had eaten the food as soon as I got it, but I had to wait 2 hours and then I took the picture and it was still delicious! Portion size is more than enough for 1 person. I had leftovers and when I re-heated it was still good!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! 10/10!!!

We get food here every week and it never disappoints! The food is so flavorful and the portions are extremely generous. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone around the area, especially for those looking for a quick bite!

Ordered online and this is what came. It was supposed to be mix over rice but this is all. Barely any meat paid $14 for this. Also selected double fries and they just threw in 4-5 soggy fries. I ordered 2 platters 1 chicken that one had a bit more meat so they definitely did it wrong. Also asked for light rice on one both had the same amount of rice. They don’t even read instructions before they gave me same amount of meat on both when I paid extra $3 to get one extra meat.

Impressed with the flavor!!! Better than most halal carts on the streets. The hot sauce and white sauce stands out in my taste buds. Delicious!

First time here today and ordered chicken platter and lamb chicken platter and it was ok. In the beginning the food tasted good until I got to the bottom of my rice and it had a sour taste to it, maybe because they had salad in the same tray. So when I eat my halal I like it with white sauce, bbq sauce and a tad bit spicy. Hence their spicy sauce is SPICY! Be sure to get a drink prepared and ready to take down the spicy. So this platter all comes with salad, rice, and seasoned fries. The portions are pretty big! Place was pretty small so it's like playing musical chairs trying to find a seat. Wait is a bit longer because they seem to be pretty busy. Overall food was good. I recommend trying it with white sauce and bbq sauce!

It's a busy spot. People were coming in and out. We got the mixed platter and the honey garlic wings. The wings were fried well and were meaty. The sauce was good but too sweet. We got the mixed platter and it was disappointing. The lamb was cold. I think they were hoping the rice and chicken would heat it up. It was also heavily spiced. They don't clean the tables. We told them the table was dirty and they didn't care. They also don't have wet wipes, a sink or bathroom so you can't clean your hands after. The least they can do is give wet wipes for your hands even though they are a quick pick up place. I also tried the chai. It was okay. It's on the mill side so if you like a stronger tea taste then you can pass on it. Mera's Tip: try the wings

Got delivery. The platter came with white sauce mixed in and several sauces on the side: more white sauce, standard hot sauce, a green hot sauce, and barbecue sauce. Gyro was a bit messy and hard to eat with just my hands. Plenty of napkins. Portions are fine. Halal carts are cheaper of course.

Update: Came back here, same food. Totally inconsistent- the gyro was had about half the amount of filling; ordered falafel as well. Really fresh yet bland, sadly. And very dark. See photos. Not sure if it's worth it.

Let me tell you they don't play around!! Their spicy chicken sandwich combo is by far the best in my opinion! They LOAD up on the fries tooo! The box was heavy!! Love them so much. My forever go to Halal Spot!

I came here to get a quick bite to eat. I ordered a chicken platter and a cup of tea (I later read a Yelp post that the tea is free; I was charged $2). The chicken is sold- good flavor, cooked perfectly, and a good serving. The rice was average, as were the salad and the french fries. If you're looking for a sit down halal spot, this is a convenient spot. The halal trucks have a better price for the same thing.

They gave us a large portion of food. Chicken has a lot of flavors. Falafel is crispy. But it's a bit overdone. .

Reliable Halal food. They do manage to clear up any long lines. Make sure you ask everything about charges BEFORE paying and ordering. Also, ASK IF THE TEA IS FREE. I came here many times before in months at least 2 times in the past, the person at the register said take the tea it's free! Recently, I come in and the lady at the cashier said "no, it's 2$" ...at least remain consistent with your staff! Overall good portions, fast and open late. A little stingy with pricing and a little tricky tbh. I remember one time I saw the buy 1 get 1 with gyro's and platters on a sign outside, but they didn't specify upon ordering that the deal was ONLY for two gyros. I get they need to get paid too as a "small business" (as it says on their tip jar) but at least be a little upfront and clear with the deals and extras

They have free chai hot tea! I ordered the combo platter and it lasted me 2 whole meals! It came with salad fried and of course rice lamb and chicken. You can also ask for other toppings which they will ask you. You have the option to choose white sauce, green sauce and hot sauce. Supposedly the green sauce is spicy (friend mentioned since I didn't get). This place does get busy, although getting a table and seats was not too bad. When we left, the line went all the way to the door! Would come again!

This is a small fast food restaurant that specializes in halal food (lamb and chicken platters) and sandwiches. It is a little more expensive than the typical street carts, at $9.99 for chicken or lamb, or $10.99 for a mix platter with chicken and lamb. However, the large size of the platter justifies the price. The food is almost much fresher. The platter comes with rice, salad (mostly cucumber) and their own fries. The french fries are really good and have their own seasoning that gives them an orange color. My only criticism is that the chicken and lamb meats are a bit too salty. I still finished everything, but the saltiness was very noticeable.

We got mix rice platter and buffalo chicken. I like how the platter comes with salad and fries. It is pricier than the street food vendor and shah's halal. I have tried this place atleast 4 times and i still don't like their rice. I will stick to the street vendors. Their rice has a funky smell to it. Service is quick. They do deliveries and have uber eats and other delivery platforms. Not a fan of their buffalo chicken because it is frozen.

The food is not that good. Don't fall for the instagram reel what they show is not how I get it at the restaurant I went in for the first time and not coming back the food is nothing different from street cart food we get for $8 dollars

One of my favorite places to eat. Especially as a late night person. The chicken and lamb platter over rice is absolutely great as I frequently order UberEats for them. This is my GOTO lunch when I work over night and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend coming here.

I would argue better than Halal guys and great value. Lamb platter was excellent and quick service as well. The dining area was a bit cramped with a few tables available but otherwise fine.

We did you a favor?! I have no complaints about the food, however, the big poster by the cash register advertising " pay cash 3% discount " is a complete lie. When I asked the cashier why I didn't receive the 3% discount by paying cash, the cashier told me it's applied already because they helped me save the credit card transaction fee! I felt cheated. If you prefer cash payment, at least being honest and tell the customer there will be credit card transaction fee and let the customer decide the form of payment. I felt disgusted for them to glorify themselves and make themselves sound like they are actually doing us a favor while most merchants absorb the credit card transaction fee as part of their operating expense. I will not buy from them again.

This place really be working like they don't care because first off the person who takes your order is rude and impatient and the workers in the back making your food puts no type of effort. I ordered a chicken gyro and a chicken platter and they both came out messed up. The chicken platter had a whole piece of seasoning cube that didn't melt and I bit into thinking it was a piece of lamb or beef but it was so salty I almost had a cardiac arrest. Next up my chicken gyro was literally white sauce wrapped in a pita bread. I'm getting my money back.

Forgive me for the picture for I drank my chai halfway before I decided to review this place. I didn't even order food here yet. I only ordered chai. It is extremely buttery and fragrant. Good product. The service here is courteous and the mood here is relaxed. Would recommend.

Excelente fast clean n friendly. Jimmy is the nice guy who serves you n his uncle owns it. Good portion. I got chicken over rice. Good price. Try the red velvet cake. Fresh from bakery. I will be coming back. So nice n cozy eating in here. Lovely atmosphere

Ordered food on UberEats , chicken and rice !!!! When I say OMG so good ! Food was in time , hot and well packed , I had salad and some fries too . Love it , literally delicious !!!! To whoever hasn't tried it yet ........ GO ! You won't regret it

‼‼If you're in the area and can't decide what to eat I highly recommend this spot. They consist of a high variety of options on the menu, so what every you're in the mood for they most likely have. It's thee best halal spot in the area. The food is well portioned and very flavorful. Everything on the menu is good, hence I only tried a few items but based off that I can tell they're phenomenal. If I may add service was quick. Well mannered staff just 100% all around‼‼

Went during lunch time were very friendly and quick. Najma was very nice at the front, but forgot to give me hot sauce for my gyro. Lamb meat was good and not overly cooked like other spots, sandwich had a great amount of meat and salad and white sauce. The wings were not saucey although the guy asked if i wanted it saucey or not and i said yes, but they were good in size and flavorful not spicy as i would like it to be. Overall will be coming back for sure Just sucks to not have any parking lot so good luck with that. A.B

This place seems to be super new and super clean. Was intrigued by the sign outside, also been a while since I've had halal, so why not? Menu was super clear and easy to understand. Nothing worse than a confusing menu. Reasonable prices with great portions. Special emphasis on the guy in the front!! He was super nice, amazing customer service. Platters somehow tasted superior than food stands halal. You can also customize your salad, which was unique. I wish there was one closer to where I live, id go more often. Looking for halal in the area? Consider this as your first choice, won't be disappointed.

If you ever had street food in NYC for 5 to 7 dollars then your lucky. This food is so bland for the price is unacceptable. Mind you I am comparing to street vendors in NYC and Greek restaurants in NYC as well. The food is so bland for 12 50. Never again!!!!!

I ordered cheese burger burger UberEats. They sent me cold left over burger that looked like was sitting in a fridge for a while. When I called them to report it, the manager lied to me sayign it was U er's fault because they picked up late. The burger they delivered was like dried inside a fried. The cheese on the top got dry and cracked on top. They assumed I am a muslim guy looking for halal food and I won't know how to report about this. They are taking muslim immigrant customers for granted and cheating with them

I had their cheeseburger and found it to be okay. The bun to meat ratio was quite high. If they toasted the bun more i think it would have been much better. Overall its a new restaurant and pretty clean. Their wings and gyros looked really tasty and I would go back for those. They do get good points for being well priced and having favorable portions.

Food service was great and employees were respectful (Kareem). Definitely recommend this spot. By far my favorite spot at the moment.

I just came here for the first time and ordered a chicken gyro. It was really good, chicken is fresh, everything is fresh. I like their white gyro sauce here, tastes different from the ones at the truck. Portion is good, prices are reasonable for the quality. Will definitely come back!

I definitely recommend this place! I ordered the spicy crispy chicken sandwich combo and spicy hot wings. The sandwich was so good, chicken was tender and crispy and fries were seasoned very well. The wings were pretty good..weren't as crispy as I would've liked but the flavor and spice level made up for it. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back to try to their platters.

I love halal food and I've been to pretty much every single halal spot in the surrounding area. This is a good spot to try out i come here alot with my gf and we always get combo platters with white and bbq sauce. I do remember the meat being tastier before when they just opened but still its good

Last night finally got to try something different !!! I had the seasoned fries which were cooked to perfection . Crispy outside soft inside ! Also had the fried fish sandwich which was made to order ! That also was cooked to perfection ! Took home an order of honey bbq wings which were another winner ! Friendly staff. Clean and well organized! Will definitely recommend to friends & family and will definitely be ordering again ! This place is definitely a winner

Phenomenal. We stopped by at random but well worth it. Some of the best halal I've had. Service was great too. There was a small mix up and they fixed it immediately and were so gracious about it. We will definitely be back

I got the chicken and lamb platter and my wife ordered the quesadilla. Everything tasted great and would definitely go back to try their other items. Place was clean, and service was fast and friendly.

I am committed to Halal Eats for my almost daily salad choice and fish. (1) it is CLEAN (2) Friendly, attentive; (3) food is made with care. I am not a foodie and very pickie about eating from restaurant because I enjoy cooking my own food - and I am not easy to please; and OCD about cleanness.

Went in to get a menu and ended up getting a chicken platter. The menu is the usual halal menu but the food was very fresh. The hot and white sauce was very tasty, the seasoned fries were good. The chicken had good flavor and this is so much better than the local street carts near the subway entrance. I definitely will recommend this place. The staff also are very friendly and when I walked in it looked busy with people eating in the table area. People also looked very happy with the food and their containers were empty. Always a good sign. Highly recommend as this place is clean, well lit and very reasonable.

One of friends recommended this place. Went in tonight and asked if the lamb was mixed with beef owner was unsure so he looked it up and gave me the brand "Kronos" which the company who supplies the lamb and found it to be mix with beef and lamb. Loved their honest at the first go since I do not eat beef. Jaheim the owner was very friendly and super helpful. Now the food. I order two chicken with rice platter and honey bbq with lemon pepper wings. Chicken and rice platter was pretty good compared to the most of the halal places I go to, the rice was different and very tasteful as well as the chicken with portion size which was generous for $9.99 platter. I loved their wings, they were perfect size not too much bread and more meat, sauce was amazing as well. I will definitely be a return customer.

I had a couple chicken over rice from different stores. The taste for this one is a little off for me. I bought 2 chicken over rice and a chicken salad, ate one for each day and had diarrhea those 3 days. The basmati rice that comes with it is wet?? Idk its just weird

Honestly not even worth trying. Cold, dry and light on the flavor and portions. Heavy on the price. Sauce was like thick af. Gotta do better I had high expectations and was excited to finally try it. Disappointed. Sorry

New business in town, got a chicken platter and a chicken gyro. It was delicious ! Fries and white sauce were tasty.

Ordered lamb over rice on Sunday and it was above average. Their salad needs to be washed better because it was sandy, I had to throw them out. Portion is okay but not as big as others have claimed. I would eat them over the halal truck outside the mall but It is really nothing special.

I went with my coworker yesterday and the customer service was excellent very friendly staff that caters to you attentively they just don't take your order and rush you out. I ordered the lamb over rice it was excellent . My coworker suggested it again today and it was excellent . I had a lamb gyro with avacado I would definitely recommend the place is clean and a beautiful ambiance .
