Arrived at hospital an hour and a half early with plenty of time for lunch! This wonderful and authentic Indian restaurant was just the solution I needed! I asked for medium heat on my chicken curry and it was quite spicy! 🌶️ very delicious! This is more of a takeaway place but they have a few tables. Super nice staff! Curry 🍛 was great! Trays and plastic cutlery. My only complaint is I needed more napkins. Super happy with my impromptu luncheon!

Google
Delicious and super filling. Will definitely go again. My partner loved the tikki masala burrito a lot! I just wish it was a little less pricey, or they gave a bit more food.

Google
My saag paneer and roti bread were surprisingly delicious. I think they are baking on-premise because my bread did have a couple of burnt spots. My boyfriend’s aloo mutter was very good but he said the mango lassi left a bit to be desired. Both entrées kicked up the spiciness level and came out of the kitchen piping hot. There doesn’t appear to be a bathroom available for guests (at least not without going through the kitchen). Setting that aside, we’ll definitely be back.

Google
Great Indian place. Distinctly geared towards the college crowd, so the food is plentiful for the price, but most importantly, it tastes great. The Chicken Jhalfrezi has the perfect amount of spice, and the vegetable samosa was piping hot and fresh.

Sandip Bhattarai

Google
Halal Cuisine’s Samosa Chaat is a must-try. Absolutely delicious!

Google
Food quantity & quality was good. Ordered Goat Rogan Josh & Garlic Naan (well done). Some of the Goat pieces was little chewy but other wise it was tasty & spicy as per my need. Mostly I don’t eat rice but when opened that brown box it was so fresh couldn’t resist to stop eating. I was expecting complementary dishes on side like pickle, papad or sweet which I had seen other restaurant do provide. Overall it was good experience.

Google
Food stale, cold and inedible- probably worse than dog food. No raita with biriyani. Cold and overcooked chicken. Worst Indian restaurant in Boston

Jill Van Biervliet

Google
Not authentic, looked and smelled burnt. Definitely do not recommend and I'm overall disappointed with this establishment and will not be back, roll was burnt and soggy while garlic Naan was burnt and crispy in parts and tough and difficult to bite through in others.

Yelp
Knockout punch by the vindaloo. Asked for spicy. It was perfection all around. Momos!

Yelp
I had the channa masala and aloo gobi from catering. The food was very mediocre- the channa masala was flavorful but there was so much sauce compared to the chickpeas. The aloo gobi also tasted okay but there most prevalent thing in it was this crunchy green vegetable (you can see in the photo) which I'm pretty sure is not usually found in aloo gobi. Nice that they have vegan options on the menu.

Yelp
Me and the love of my life Talia Ginsberg went and had a fantastic experience! Great food and even better hospitality!

Yelp
I ordered food online for pickup but got to the place before my food was ready. As a result, I got to observe the staff while I waited. I saw one kitchen staff with his mask around his chin. That didn't really feel great to see. Also one of the employees working the front/cash register didn't completely cover her nose with her mask. Yikes! As for other COVID precautions, this place seems to not be offering dine-in despite indoor dining being allowed by the state. All the chairs were tilted forward so people couldn't sit and eat there. I ordered the chicken tikka masala (which comes with basmati rice), garlic naan, and mango lassi. The chicken tikka masala wasn't the best I've had, but it wasn't bad. The naan seemed freshly made (at least I'm assuming it is, because when I was waiting for my food to be ready they said they were just waiting for the naan to finish baking). The mango lassi wasn't bad either but I've had better. Overall, this place is fine I guess but there are better Indian food restaurants in Boston. I was also a little disappointed to witness the incorrectly worn masks by the staff there, although I'm sure this happens inside a lot of other kitchens and I just don't see it with my own eyes.

Yelp
I placed a large order online yesterday for a scheduled delivery and it got delivered a couple hours early. I called the restaurant and they offered to replace the whole thing -- it was such a kind gesture and saved the evening! Their customer service is truly top notch, and I'd go back just for that but it sure doesn't hurt that the food is delicious! I got the Chicken Saagwala, which was amazing, and my friends got some of the wraps which they said were phenomenal. 10/10 all around -- I can't recommend this place enough, and we'll all be back!

Mashaim A.

Yelp
Literally such a horrible customer experience. I ordered their chicken tikka roll and it came filled with rice and 0 chicken like hello? I didn't realize I ordered a rice roll??? Wth. Not only that but when I complained about the rice to chicken ratio, the sever went back and made fun of me in their native language which thanks to God i understood. i literally have never left a review on anything before let alone a negative one so for me to write them a NEGATIVE ONE just shows how I disappointed I am. Never coming back here again. Was very excited but nvm!

Yelp
i ordered this after a long shift at work and wow. hit the spot. i got momos & the paneer tikka nan roll up. i thought it would be more like roti but it's actually like an indian burrito (which they also sell). i got the spiciest level and it is not spicy at all which is too bad but it's still amazing. will return!! yummy!!!

Shlomo S.

Yelp
Ball of hair in the food (see image) so I unfortunately had to dock a couple stars. Tastes good though with friendly service. Usually I can eat around a hair but this was too much.

Yelp
I've been a customer since I started college around that area in 2013. My favorite go to items are chicken tikka burritos and lamb vindaloo. Their burritos are huge and it is so flavorful. I'm the type of gurl who loves spicy food and gets really sad if the food I ordered is not spicy. Here, I always get extra spicy and they always make it the way I like it to be. I graduated and I live far away now but the chef still remembers me when I went in today for a takeout. All their food are very flavorful. The chef offered me a free masala tea when I was in college cuz I was a regular. When I feel like treating myself, I always get masala tea, it is very comforting drink a bit similar to like thai/chai milk tea. Notes: They give free papadum if you pay with cash! This is a small place with 1-2 chefs. So the wait maybe a bit longer but the food is worth it. This place is usually not crowded.

Yelp
When I need my Indian food fix, I order from here. Their lamb curry is so good especially when you ask for it extra spicy. But the real star here is their coconut naan. Life changing and so good that I must order it every time. Just order it and thank me later, oh and pray that you don't get a burnt batch .

Yelp
Ordered for delivery from this place because my cousin highly recommended it. Should have listened to the reviews. Called 3 times to get everything right because the person answering the phone was apparently in training. Not an issue if everything is fine. Was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes and the place was only a 5 minute drive away. Cool. 90 minutes later, our food finally arrived. How was the food? Could have been better if it wasn't already at room temperature. Samosa chaat (medium spice): was not spicy at all, had big potato chunks which was a first for me, and overall just ok Lamb vindaloo (medium spice): heat was great, very tomato-y (almost like a ketchup taste), huge chunks of potato, scarce pieces of lamb Garlic naan: tasted good but it hardened almost immediately after we took it out the bag because it was cold already. I would try them again but will not be calling in my order. Only did so because I wanted to pay cash and not let the apps take their profits. Now we know better!

Yelp
Halal Indian Cuisine is my solid go-to Indian place in Mission Hill. My favorite dish is lamb biryani which is practically equivalent to ordering two meals with about 17 dollars because of its large portion. I often ask for an extra raita (white sauce) which they provide for free. Their chicken tikka masala and mango lassi are great too considering their price point. I don't recommend their nans as they are mediocre. Be aware of their long wait time so order ahead.

rawan a.

Yelp
The chicken tikkka masala was soooo good. Big quantities and will give you extra food

Rylee M.

Yelp
2 years ago this was the spot! But now I'd never come back, nothing is vegan anymore and the service is terrible because they are unwilling to make any accommodations. But hopefully the owner can whip the place into shape because as of now I'm never coming back.

Sarah P.

Yelp
I only got take-out from here through door dash, but I liked the lamb rogan josh I got. Good flavor, the heat level at medium was nice, and I thought Halal Indian gave a pretty good portion of actual meat in the dish - some places can be a little stingy, so it was a nice surprise.

Yelp
Halal Indial Cuisine is perfect for broke college students like me who wants Indian food but cannot afford to go to a fancy Indian restaurants! But just because it's afforadable, doesn't mean the quality is bad. It's definitely one of the best chicken curries I've had in my life for sure! They prepare their meals quickly and their portions are quite generous! I always end up being really full and have food coma or have leftovers for my next meal. Halal Indian Cuisine is definitely my go-to Uber Eats restaurant! Hoping the best for them :) Thank you for being near the college and hospital areas!

Yelp
The food provided at this place has been always amazing. Apart from this, I like Mutter paneer the most along with a garlic naan.
google avatar

Sumedh S.

Yelp
The food is fine but they are pretty slow.So never ever visit that place if you don't have enough time. I had to wait for 30 min to get what I ordered at this place. The place to sit has 5 tables and they are busy serving the orders that they get from online. Wouldnt really recommend this place.

Isra S.

Yelp
Delicious food and great portion sizes!

Yelp
Not bad. Got delivery from here. It's priced a little bit lower another Indian places and they definitely have a lower delivery minimum. The food itself tasted good, though a bit different from all other Indian places. For example: the naan had a different consistency and didn't have the soft and flakey texture of most naan. Perhaps prepackaged. Also, the aloo ghobi was in a tomato sauce versus a light oil and tomato base. And they didn't send onion chutney which I'm used to getting with my meal. But still tasty and I'd order again.

Yelp
I am a bit puzzled for why this place has such poor ratings. While it might not be the ideal location for a first date, it is so darn authentic and delicious. It gets a perfect 5 in my eyes for amazing food, non-fussy, almost hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, friendly service, and online ordering system. I admit that there might be some bias as Halal Indian is among the on-call stables for the poor souls who are not, or could not leave Longwood, and thus might have earned an extra star in my book for a non-hospital-cafeteria option which could be acquired within the 10 minutes a lowly resident could afford to be away. And yes, its clarified butter content makes me feels ashamed walking past the Shapiro cardiovascular building, but I can't help it! I crave their lamb korma wherever I go. Anyhow, here is the break down. -- Food: sinfully good curry! Our fav are lamb (or beef) korma (creamy ground cashew sauce) and dal makhani (lentil in creamy tomato sauce). The vindaloo and masala are also reliably delicious. But boy, the korma and dal makhani are JUST. SO. GOOD!!! The meat cuts they use are of good quality, relatively lean and without stringy fascia. Food are definitely prepared fresh per order, which you can see/hear/smell from the counter. Level of spiciness is authentic, as in the medium spicy is actually spicy! There are also little things suggesting of a well done execution, like how their vegetable pakora has bell peppers in it and yet it is perfectly crispy, most likely because someone took the extra step to salt out the extra fluid in the vegetables. -- Service: this is a place where you order at the counter and pick up the food, either to eat inside the store or take it home. So no table service, but the people behind the counter have always been attentive and friendly for any issue. We love being able to order online to save time waiting. Have never gotten our order mixed up. Apparently they also deliver. The to go packaging is awesome! Super efficient, stable, and never any spill. This is a must for a place like this -- Pricing: pretty typical for Indian food, between $10 and $15 for most entrees, plus appetizer, drinks etc, looking at about $20 a person. Portions are quite large though, and can be easily divided into multiple meals. Therefore excellent value. Plus you don't need to tip as much as there is no table service. They take credit cards. -- Location: at the Brigham circle. Easy to find, but street parking in this area is terrible. However it is convenient to walk here if you are already on Longwood campus -- Ambience: decently clean, basic and simple, but that is about it. Not a place for a romantic first date, unless he or she is also on call, then it is a total win-win!

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews! Everything I've tried has been very good and very reasonably priced. The things I ordered as spicy were actually spicy and the mild were actually mild, which is a problem I've had with other Indian food places, so overall very pleased.

Yelp
As a college student who ate here during my six years of schooling, I only went here when I was desperate and too lazy to walk somewhere else for real food. As a vegetarian, their dishes are terrible, and I have even noticed rotten vegetables in the corner of their kitchen that haven't been thrown away alongside the ten year old mango lassi that sits in a cup above the fridge. It blows my mind that the Boston Food and Health department allows this "restaurant" to remain open. The owner is a complete scumbag, who has no sense of customer service or morals. He overcharges food when you are not looking, and gets extremely offended when you call him out for overcharging you and serving you poor quality food. The only people who leave 5 star reviews for this restaurant are in the two following categories: 1. Poor college students who have no other option for Indian food in the area 2. White people, or other non-indians who have never had real quality Indian food in their life. (If you want quality Indian food, visit Maharaja in Cambridge, it will change your life) If you want low quality, non nutritional, watered down food, and are desperate and don't want to pay for delivery from a REAL Indian restaurant, then by all means, enjoy your 2-day old reheated joke of an excuse of "Indian" food. Little tip: make sure you double check your credit/debit card statement to make sure the scumbag owner didn't overcharge you or charge you twice (true story)

Yelp
This place a was great! It was not very crowded and we went at lunch time. It's small but had plenty of clean tables. The girl at the counter was very nice and put in our order quickly. We got our food relatively fast and it was very good -nice and spicy too! I got the chicken curry with basmati rice. It was mostly sauce with five pieces of chicken, but with the rice mixed it it was enough to fill me up. I would go here again for a quick bite to eat.

Yelp
This is my go to Indian cuisine in Boston! I love the garlic naan and so far this Chana masala is my favorite! Very original and everyone's friendly!

Yelp
I love Indian. I've had some really good Indian. This place, it's not the greatest, but they're doing the best they can. They serve their meals on plastic plates. It's great. It's quick and easy. If you want more food, order it in to-go containers--they give more. When I came here with a friend, I had the butter chicken and she had the tikka masala. I normally love butter chicken because of the way they cook the chicken, but my plate was a little too peppery, a bit too runny, and lacked the depth of flavor like the chicken tikka masala. That's just my opinion. Just a few tips: -Their mixed chutney has olives as much as they say it's a mixture of pickles and onions -Their naan is good, but it's pricey -When they say spicy--they use pepper for their spice. Too much pepper just tastes peppery, not spicy -The cleanliness is not the greatest -They have chutney on their menu (huge serving size), but you can ask for small dipping sizes
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
One of the few Indian restaurant's I've eaten at lately where the "hot" option is actually a great level of spice. Been ordering here a few times a week with quarantine, highly recommended.

Yelp
I'm not expert in Indian food, mind you, but I just really like this place. As a poverty stricken college student finding cheap and yummy food in the city. Thankfully being so close to my school, it's the perfect place for lunch! I usually just get the lunch special because you're going to get a giant heavy box of food that's hearty and can last you the whole day. The choices - depend on what you want (like 2 veggies + 1 meat, all veggies, or 2 meat + 1 veggies will change the price slightly). I usually get the Chicken Tikka Masala as my meat, and just pick at random whatever veggies they have available. I know the veggies choices changes everyday, but the usual meat choice will be Chicken masala or Chicken curry. Safe to say they're both quite nice, however there might be time when the seasoning isn't quite there and it can be a bit bland. I actually prefer their veggies choices. The Bhindi Bhaji (Okra) is my favorite, okra itself is rare and expensive so to find it anywhere is a nice bonus. pretty good pakora and samosa. lovely nan, I prefer the nan to the rice that they give since it's really just rice... I wish they would let me substitute the nan for the rice but I haven't been to a place that let me do that :( Always get the mango lassi, couldn't resist and drank it all before I could even eat my meal

Yelp
Just walked out with the most horrible experience. Waited 25 minutes for an order of a chicken Tikka curry and a couple of naans. Reminded the person at the counter person..he asks me to wait a couple of minutes. About 7-8 minutes later I realize he has kept a bag of food at the counter. So I go up to him and ask is that mine and he is like yes. Does not bother to tell me it's my order..nothing. I ask him why he didn't bother to tell me and he is like sorry I was busy. Quite a horrible experience.Saw him go and serve takeaway to atleast a couple of customers before that (incidentally, all of them were White of course). Enough Indian food places in the vicinity to avoid a horrible experience like this. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place for me So we ordered chicken biryani and I loved it Intense flavors, Moderately spiced, and the herbal aroma was good It was A BIG plate, we split one order and both of us were so full The chicken was well done, infused with flavors I was puzzled this place had bad ratings They have decent Golabi btw, I may have pronounced this wrong I would definitely try it again
google avatar

Hibah O.

Yelp
Terrible. We ordered for the first and last time. Naan was dry and old. Chicken tikka was 5-8 small slivers of chicken swimming in a tub of sauce. I've never had such poor quality Indian food anywhere. And the portions are shamefully!
google avatar

A P.

Yelp
Usually something gets screwed up in the order and overall this place is pretty hit or miss. The descriptions aren't exactly accurate so ask questions before ordering.

Emily K.

Yelp
The service here is pretty slow and I've even had to wait after placing an order online. The food is average and the seating area is not very nice. If you're craving Indian food this is good for grab and go place to satisfy, but not necessarily worth going out of your way to get. They do offer naan roll ups which have curry and rice inside. A condensed way to consume curry on the fly!
google avatar

Clark R.

Yelp
Solid take-out Indian food. I've been grabbing lunch from them several times a week and have been consistently satisfied by the quality, taste, and value. I almost always get the Chicken Tikka over onions and love it. Also love their naan. As a heads up, on the first day I underestimated their "medium" spice level. I've been ordering mild since then. Nice folks at the counter too.
google avatar

Chandrasekar G.

Yelp
Most improved restaurant in the mission hill area and very polite staff. My go-to is the palak paneer, medium spicy, with minimal oil (yes they do that for you) and naan or lacha paratha. Always delicious!
google avatar

Gautham D.

Yelp
Don't eat here. Rat infested place with food beyond disgusting. This place is so disgusting cockroaches are scared to eat here! Stay away at all costs unless you are in the mood to get diarrhea and lose weight. As this place is close to work, I stopped by for some take out and was I for a rude awakening. First I see the chef standing outside the restaurant scratching his crotch. My mind immediately said run but my hunger prevented me from leaving and I was hoping that someone else had cooked the food! The food was packed and left on the counter, the place is run down and looked like no one had cleaned the place for a long time. I have never seen grimy places like this is rural India or even desolate places in Africa and this place is in Boston. Holy Cow and I am serious holy cow this place is bad. The food I ordered was like a six year old had cooked the food. Chicken Biryani was bland with uncooked meat overrun with strange spices. It tasted more like rice with mud in it. Lamb curry was like a bowl of puke with dried cardboard. Holy cow how is this place still open. Avoid at all costs

Sree P.

Yelp
Fast food quality at obscene prices for watery food. I unfortunately have been eating at this place on and off for 6 years now and it has gone down hill ever since 2010. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The owner is rude and unfriendly. As an indian college student without a car living in the mission hill area i was forced to go here for "indian" food. Their chicken tikka is legit water and chicken. Fortunately there have been other indian restaurants that have been opened since and thanks online websites such as Grubhub and Eat24,i was able to order from other restaurants that are not walkable distance. Once the other employee,Dennis, got fired the customer service went down the hill too with the remaining owner's brother there. So the food quality went down and so did the customer service. Joke of a place. I would NOT get food from here. I once took my family here when they visited me in Boston and they all got upset with how low the quality of the food is and my mom said never to eat their again,in fear of me getting sick/lacking nutritional value. I only went there when the prices were cheap but now the prices have gone up to match other real restaurants prices, places with quality food, which is a joke. This place is such low quality and only go there if you want low quality food to save $1 from other indian restaurants or if you have no other choice. They dont even offer naan with your food anymore and they say if you pay with cash you get a free $0.10 papdam lmao what a joke I have been waiting to write this honest review for years since i didnt want them spitting in my food. Knowing how sleezy the Pakistani owner is,that definitely wouldnt have been a surprise. Once i had a water bottle in my hand that i brought that was half empty and he charged me for it until i questioned the total. The owner has no morals and a lot of my friends had issues with him and skeeming prices. Now that i no longer live in Boston,i can be honest and save others the trouble, money, and stomach ache by chosing other quality restaurants. Only naive desperate indian college students go there but if you have a smartphone or a car,go elsewhere. Spend the extra dollar or two and eat real food. And FYI DONT NOT ORDER THE MANGO LASSI, you WILL vomit! It sits in a milk jug for weeks in the fridge next the register. I dont usually leave negative reviews but for this dirty place i had to. Indian restaurant my ass lmao i cant wait until the food service inspection department shuts this place down. You're welcome!

Yelp
So I was really hungry one night and needed something quick. Stopped in and got a paneer tikka masala naan roll up, which was a) delicious and b) more food than I could eat (those who know me know this is saying something) for about 8 bucks. Bargain! I've been back a few times and had consistently friendly service and good food. It's definitely a takeout place and not a nice sit-down restaurant, so eat in elsewhere, but if you're eating at home anyway, you can get really tasty food for about 2/3 the price of what a nice sit-down place will charge.

Yelp
I have been living in Boston for more than 2 years. I go to this place often because of the proximity to my home. Sadly the taste hasn't improved so far. They have added few new dishes like the burritos- I hope they at-least taste good.Compared with other indian eateries in the same price category I've been to, the quality of the food battles to meet the benchmark. I have tired the majority of the dishes here. The appetizers are doable..But the the chicken fitter was too dry, but could be improved. Samosas are ok. Now about the biryani- it is only made edible because of the meat chunks, otherwise it is clearly devoid of flavors and spices. Unless I am truly deprived of Biryani, I wouldn't go for it. The Keema Paratha- sheer disappointment. I ordered the dish for togo. When I came back home started eating, I found minced meat of chicken stuffing instead of goat. To all my non-indian folks, keema is ground meat of goat/lamb generally fried with onions and condiments. So I walked back to the restaurant to ask about this. The chefs were arguing with me for 5 minutes to convince me keema is made with chicken. I even pointed out at their menu where it clearly said "goat". Even after all this, they had so much of hesitation to offer a replacement. I strongly recommend to ask about the dish before you place the order. Bottomline: The food is pricey for its quality. I wish the food was better.

Sayali G.

Yelp
Felt like I was eating at school canteen/cafe for the price. Hope they improve the quality and freshness of the food. My order was chicken biryani and I found some pieces of chicken as dark in color. Not good sign!

Sam S.

Yelp
I ordered the chicken tikka masala with plain naan and soup. I liked it a lot. It was filling and I will order again in the future. I was expecting over an hour for delivery as this is the custom with home made food places in the area in my experience and my estimate was correct, but worth the wait. The amount of chicken was small, but I am really in love with the masala sauce so I didn't mind since I like to soak my rice and naan with it. This was one of the best I've had.

Yelp
I have had so much better Indian food. This place was unclean and it was so hot when I walked in. there was a fan but it was still muggy and humid. The food was old and not fresh. Never coming back.

Cheyenne A.

Yelp
Their naan wraps are heavenly! The perfect amount of spice and they give such a big serving
google avatar

Angie F.

Yelp
This place was great! Very accommodating and helpful! Their meals are served on plastic plates, for some reason. You're able to see the chefs preparing the food behind the counter, so it's greatness makes up for the lack of real plates. Their garlic nan is fantastic. If you're gonna try any appetizer, get the vegetable pakora! Our Indian friends approved, too. Will be back soon!

Yelp
love them. ever since moving to mission hill, this restaurant has genuinely enveloped me with love. constant smiles and a good rapport--they even learned my order (chana masala, spicy) very quickly. their aloo ghobi is delicious as well. i'll always support this business. amazing quality and quantity for the prices, and run by good people with kind hearts

Yelp
Yeah! Im very excited this place has finally opened! I just went and got some fried rice with mixed vegetable curry and it is very yummy! Mission hill needed something other than pizza! The inside is small but has a couple of tables and they deliver! It def. has some spice to it which is good. I really am so happy I will most certainly return!

Yelp
Worst customer service I've received in my life. I placed a very small order, and despite living steps away from them it took more than an hour for them to delivered it to me. I placed my order for delivery at 9:03pm. At 9:55pm food wasn't there so I gave them a call only to be told that the delivery guy just left and that he would arrive in the next 5-10 minutes AND when I tried to ask why it was taking so long when my apartment is less than a TWO MINUTE walk away, homegirl hung up the phone. At 10:05pm the food was still not there so I called demanding a refund, and they tell me to not worry and wait for my food, hang up x2. At 10:09pm I go outside of my apartment not because he ran the bell, but because Delivery Douche was being obnoxiously loud on his cellphone saying that he had been outside of my apartment with my food for two minutes and that no one had come to the door. Lies and fairytales. Delivery Douche then proceeded to give me all of the attitude in the world, and even appeared offended and annoyed when I told him I no longer wanted the food. I said that it was absurd that it took more than an hour for my food to be delivered given my proximity to their restaurant. He offered an itinerary of all the places he had to go to and gave a gazzilion excuses for being late, but not a single apology nor offer to remediate the situation. He then proceeded to leave my doorstep mad as hell. I called the restaurant back to get my refund going and more excuses followed from the lady who answered. I continued telling them very politely that I didn't care about why the food was so late and to just process my refund. And surprise, surprise! not one minute after he left my doorstep I hear Delivery Douche complaining in the background about me. Bad mouthing customers when they can hear you is not the best business practice Halal. And to make things more fantastic, the girl decides to tell me then that after all she cannot process the refund, only a manager can and the manager will be there the next morning. So in order to get my hard earned money back, I had to continue to inconvenience myself, disrupt my schedule and go to Halal the next day. All I wanted was a quick bite of the cheap and mediocre indian food that Halal has to offer, instead I received all the bad Karma in the world. If you want awful customer service and old tasting basmati rice, generic masala and rough chicken, Halal is certainly the spot! My hommie Delivery Douche will hook you up with a side of unwelcome rudeness, and all the hostility you can handle for free .99 .....And I just remember, they also got the order that I never ate, wrong. Never again.

Yelp
As far as Indian cuisine goes, this city is severely lacking. I mean, it's downright embarrassing what people try to pass off as Indian, and this coming from people who were born in our Motherland! Fortunately, we have a few options that do not fit into this category. Halal Indian, I love you! I love you because you're relatively inexpensive, you're tasty, and you deliver! You may not be Indian, but you can cook Indian. And if that arrives at my doorstep in less than an hour you are well on your way to winning my heart. Who knew Brigham Circle could feature a Punjabi joint that would rival the Back Bay, JP, Allston and surpass any of the craptacular take-out places in Cambridge? Truly, a Shiva-sent.

Yelp
I have been here a million times now. Ok probably like 50. I usually get the same thing, however, this place is great for vegetarians. Portions are generous and if you can find a place to sit there and eat it's even great. I have liked almost everything I have tried, with the exception of Okra, they still need to get their bhindi fixed. It's good, it's cheap, it's spicy. I love it.
