Absolutely Disgusted – Unacceptable Halal Pastures Delivery
I am writing this review out of sheer frustration and disappointment regarding my recent order of halal pastures. What was supposed to be a delightful addition to my meals while I am trying to follow my new faith and only eat Halal food ; turned into an absolute nightmare.
Firstly, I was appalled to find that when my order arrived, the halal pastures were completely thawed and, quite frankly, looked far from fresh. The packaging was not only inadequate but appeared to have been tampered with from the inside, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the food I received. I expected premium quality when I ordered considering how pricy it is , and this experience was anything but that.
To make matters worse, there was a rancid smell emanating from the pastures when I opened the package. It was undeniable evidence that they had been improperly stored or transported. How is it possible in this day and age that a food business can be so careless? It is beyond me but as well dealing with their customer service was another nightmare of denying & arguing and ignorance.
I intend to file official complaints regarding this situation because it is completely unacceptable. Food safety and quality should be your top priority, and clearly, something has gone horribly wrong in this transaction. I am highly dissatisfied and will not hesitate to alert others to my experience. If you value your customers and the food industry regulations, it’s time to step up and take responsibility for your failures.
I would strongly advise anyone thinking about placing an order here to think twice!
My update for the business reply;
I must clarify the situation as I believe was communicated to your customer service right away on the same day of arrival and as a good gesture I kept everything in my freezer for you to return.
The focal point of my concern lies not with the shipping process itself, but rather the quality of the product that arrived. It’s crucial to understand that being “on time” and being in satisfactory condition are two distinctly separate issues.
The fact remains that the product did not meet the quality standards I expected and that were promised upon purchase. My intention was never to change the narrative, but to express my disappointment in a professional manner.
In regard to the box being intact, while I did indicate that the box itself showed no visible damage, this does not negate the potential for temperature-sensitive products to be compromised during transit — an issue that can arise regardless of the external condition of the packaging also considering that the package spent 3+ days in trucks which is too long for perishable items to arrive safe.
