So, they tout "bottomless Mimosas" until 3pm; But when we went for brunch this passed weekend, we had two mimosas and they ran out! The staff informed us, (after we inquired, rather than sharing the info freely) that they had someone running to the store. About an hour later (when there is a store less than 5min from the restaurant) they brought back mimosas. They skipped filling ours and we waited another 20min, finally we had another round. This unfortunately was only for them to tell us that they ran out again, so it was "last call". Last call implies that you can get another, but this was sadly not the case. Additionally, "last call" was called an hour before bottomless mimosas were scheduled to end. There was four of us and we all ordered food, we had intended to order more food, but the fact that they ran out of mimosas detoured us from ordering more.
The food was okay, above mediocre, but nothing to write home about. I had the chicken and waffles, and my waffle was very thin and dense.
Overall it was a pretty disappointing experience, especially because I really enjoyed the downtown location the last time I went. The idea of trying the new San Marcos was exciting, only to be pretty dissatisfying. Maybe they'll get it together, but only time will tell, and I am unlikely to return anytime soon.
