"Chef Brian Howard will open Half Bird Chicken and Beer on Monday in Las Vegas’s Chinatown. The restaurant, which will be more casual than his nearby Sparrow and Wolf, will focus on rotisserie chickens, marinated for 12 hours with lemon, garlic, thyme, sea salt, and oil. In addition to chicken, the menu will include togarashi rolls, mac and cheese, and smothered fries. While rotisserie chicken is the star, Half Bird will also serve a vegan chicken sandwich, a fried chicken sandwich, and nuggets for late-night dining. Half Bird Chicken and Beer at 3500 Wynn Road will be open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m." - Janna Karel

As I took my first bite, I was struck by the harmonious blend of flavors. The skin was delightfully crisp, providing an excellent contrast to the tender, juicy meat beneath. Each mouthful was an explosion of taste, with a balanced mix of savory and aromatic notes. The seasoning was just right, enhancing the chicken's natural taste rather than overpowering it. This rotisserie chicken was a testament to the power of simplicity in cooking, where quality ingredients and expert technique create culinary marvels. A great rotisserie chicken is often complemented by equally delicious sides. In this case, the meal was served with roasted broccoli in a scallion ginger sauce, perfectly crispy smashed potatoes, and a flavorful dipping sauce that added an extra layer of complexity to the dining experience. The entire dining experience was elevated by the warm and attentive service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to ensure my dining experience was exceptional. The fun, corky atmosphere of the restaurant added to the local charm, we especially liked the rubber chicken chandeliers! In conclusion, this rotisserie chicken set the bar impossibly high for any future contenders. The golden, crispy skin, succulent meat, and well-balanced flavors combined to create a culinary masterpiece that left an indelible mark on my taste buds. If you're in search of the best rotisserie chicken in town, make the move to this restaurant – it's so cluckin' good!

This place is so good I have gone twice in a week and the food just gets better the burger is so good the soft surf ice cream was so delicious and the bathroom is like a little rave. the atmosphere is Awesome! The staff is great and super friendly My daughter said her nuggets were a little spicy for her but she said she didn't care and kept eating them because the chicken was so good

My son and I came here during noon. The cashier we had was super friendly and explained the menu items to us. We ordered from the combo menu. Half chicken, one sauce, seasoned potatoes & a lemonade. My son loved the chicken and lemonade but didn’t want to try the seasoned potatoes cause they aren’t actual fries, lol. The totaled came up to around $21. Definitely give this please a try. :)

First time here and I won't be eager to come back. The food is a bit pricey. My friend got a burger combo with fries. The fried are just...mini squashed potatoes with some gravy on them. They are okay. He really liked his burger and I felt it reminded me of Fatburger. His Pepsi had an improper ratio of syrup to carbonated water and thus tasted really flat, sweet, and terrible. I got the half chicken with Mac & cheese and their milk toast rolls. The rolls were really good, the Mac & cheese was better than the "fries" but not amazing, and the chicken was the star of the show despite still being a bit salty. I also really liked the green curry ranch sauce. Overall, I think the place is worth trying as others might like it more than I did. However, it wasn't for me and I prefer other chicken restaurants in Vegas or other Asian restaurants on spring mountain.

Google
Mmmm... Fried chicken!!! Let me begin. First time here. Rosa was exceptional!!! She gave me recommendations on what's popular and her favorites. She called me by my first name multiple times while I was there (exceptional customer service, in my opinion), and she made sure I was good with every while I was there. And it's not like a restaurant that is a sit down and order, type of restaurant, if you know what I mean. I ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich with the hot sauce on the side, the gravy fries, mac-n-cheese, a delicious chocolate chip cookie, and a soda in a bottle. The fried chicken was battered to perfection and was a great proportion. Came in a bun with cheese, lettuce, and yummy sweet pickles. The mac-n-cheese was great. Not your normal elbow macaroni. These were swirly pasta pieces, and it came with spam. Yummy!! The gravy fries were sooooooo good. I ordered a 2nd serving. Mixed in with different (small Idaho and purple) potatoes. They were soft and crunchy. Beautifully done. The gravy added the perfect balance between the potatoes. Now for the cookie. It's prepackaged, but there were these huge soft and chewy chocolate pieces inside. Was amazing! And there was salt on them to give it that sweet and salty flavor. Perfect. All I needed was for it to be warmed up with 2 scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream on top, and I would have been in heaven!!! On a different subject, their bathroom is pretty cool. All in all, it's a great place!! They have a late night menu as well. Come check it out!

Google
I was lucky enough to have Half Bird when they were at the Las Vegas test kitchen. My schedule is kind of busy and I cannot wait to get to the newly open location. The chicken is expertly flavored and the sides are phenomenal. Hey huge highlight is the unique dipping sauces. Homemade chili crunch and use you honey are my 2 favorite so far. I can't wait to come back to try the additional sauces along with the rotisserie chicken and sides.

Google
So first to start the people are amazing!! Had no problem answering questions about the menu. So nice and friendly!! The food came out hot/fast and oh so delicious we ordered a little of everything just to try and well worth it. And you have to try the sauces!! A must try!!

Google
Food was good and came out pretty quick. Mostly fried chicken on the menu. Wings, sandwiches, and small hen type option. The gravy fries were interesting. Dining area was small but there was an option to sit outside. Not recommended though during hot summer days 😄

Yelp
I wandered down here with a girlfriend who was treating me to a night out. We started at Golden Tiki, which is a few steps away, then came here to get something to eat and my friend recommended it. I enjoyed the half chicken and the sauces. Of the two sauces I tried, I liked the sweet miso bbq better than the green curry ranch. The smashed rotisserie potatoes were good. My friend ordered a small bottle of champagne because, well I was celebrating my birthday. We both had the cinnamon sugar donuts with miso caramel which were delicious! I took one of their cookies home and it was yummy. Overall, a fun experience. Our order taker was a fun, young gal who was a recent transplant from another state. The music added to the atmosphere and the bathrooms and hallway are a must-see! Open late on weekends.

Yelp
I watched as this end of the plaza underwent a refurbishment and saw that Half Bird was opening there. Since I'm at the Las Vegas Little Theatre often, I decided one night I'd go early and have dinne there. That night was last night. Of all the fried chicken sandwich places I've tried, this was hands down the best! I found parking easy at that earlier time. There are two entrances--one from the patio and one from the right front. On the front of the building (Spring Mountain side), there is an After Dark pick up window. There are a couple of ways to order. You can use the Toast app and order take out ahead of time. You can walk in and order at the counter. Or, the option I chose was to take a seat at a table. There is a QR code for each table and for every counter seat. Scan the QR, pick what you want from the menu adding the items to your cart, and pay then. They'll deliver to your table It's so easy! I ordered the Spring Mountain "Hot Chicken" which has pickled cucumber, green curry ranch, shredded lettuce, and a potato roll. My drink was brought to me ahead of time. There is a wait for the chicken. The good sized chicken sandwich is battered and fried while you wait so it's not a fast food, pre-made chicken sandwich. The wait is a few minutes and it's worth it. A server broguth a tray with my sandwich in a closed bag with a "hot" sticker on the top. There were also napkins and a handy nap for cleaning your fingers after enjoying. I ripped the bag and couldn't wait to try it out. It was excellent. Heat--both cooking heat and some of the green curry ranch--greeted me. It wasn't terribly spicy hot although I did get one red pepper flake caught in my throat that I felt for a while. I skipped their cookie as I wanted something more substantial for dessert. Service was top notch. Before I left, I was asked if I wanted a refill of my drink to take with me. I'll be back and enjoy a combo which is what I should have ordered in the beginning. It is cluckin' good!

Yelp
LUV everything about this place! The roasted chicken was great and so was everything else! I just wasn't fond of the root beer so will just get a regular beer next time! The space hilarious and the bathrooms are fun! Staff super friendly & helpful. Grab your chicken soon!

Priscilla Y.

Yelp
They recently lowered their prices! $9 for a pretty big chicken sandwich is a good deal these days. If you aren't a big eater just the sandwich will fill you up, but do yourself a favor and get one of their sides as well. I love the mac and cheese with spam. The spicy garlic cheese fries are very rich and stay crispy somehow. My mates said the corn on the cob was bomb as well. Everything is great and flavorful. The chicken is well seasoned but most importantly it's tender and juicy!! The spicy had a nice kick but it's not super hot. The staff is really nice and patient. If there's a line to order you can always use the kiosk or scan the qr codes on the tables to place your order. A secret menu item suggested by a staff member is to mix the lemonade with the canned Moscow mule. I don't drink alcohol but my friend said it was great. Their lemonade by itself is really good as well. Plenty of tables even for a small space. There's seating outside too and a walk up window to order takeaway too. This place is a great choice in a plaza with lots of other great choices. Give them a try. They are in the same plaza as Pho Kim Long but go all the way to the right. If parking is full go around to the back "alley" and you can park there as well.

Yelp
Great concept. Cool decor. So, you come here for the rotisserie chicken. Ours was maybe just a touch dry, however remedied by all their amazing sauces. Don't sleep on the potato wedges/ fries. Both are delectable. Togarashi rolls are sweet and fluffy. My kids couldn't get enough of the nuggets. Keeping with the cool restroom trend in Chinatown, theirs includes a disco.

Yelp
Pro-tip: The soft serve description is vague - what I interpreted as the soft serve flavor was actually just toppings. For example, the soft serve itself is just chocolate and they add a miso caramel drizzle with cinnamon toast crunch cereal on top. Highlights: I went in with average expectations, but the rotisserie chicken did hold up. I thought the chicken was very juicy and well seasoned even after eating half the next day. I think the biggest highlight though was the customer service. I ordered chicken and dessert for take-out and they were considerate to ask me if I wanted to have the ice cream while waiting for the chicken and they also gave me one of all the sauces so that I could try them out. Absolutely incredible because I got to try a ton of flavors I wouldn't have ordered otherwise. Lowlights: I was disappointed with the soft serve only because I thought the description meant there were three different soft serve flavors, but it's just one flavor and the rest are actually just toppings. I don't understand the hype with the rolls.

Yelp
We've been wanting to check this place out since it opened a short while ago. It's the newest creation from Chef Brian Howard of Sparrow & Wolf. The interior design is great and will keep your eyes busy for awhile. The woman at the counter was welcoming, helpful and friendly; we placed our order and grabbed a seat and the food arrived in a timely manner. The Brix Mac-N-Cheese has a great pasta that holds the cheese sauce well, the spam needed to be fried more to add a nice crispy texture component. The bread crumbs and furikake on top were a nice complement. The Spring Mountain Hot Chicken Sandwich was amazing! Fried up fresh and with the perfect amount of spice, complemented with a green curry ranch, shredded lettuce and pickles. The gravy fries were a bit of a disappointment, I originally wanted the cheesy fries with the garlic chili crunch but they ran out of fries. The gravy "fries" are actually not fries but small potatoes that are cooked, smashed and then fried. While the gravy was good, the potatoes were all different sizes.. some smashed, some not.. some fried well and crispy and some not. All in all a fantastic food and service experience and we'll be back again. Oh and definitely check out the disco bathrooms

Yelp
I had never heard of this place but I am so happy I found it. I had looked at the menu online and had an idea of what I wanted to eat. When I arrived, it was pretty simple. If you are going to dine in, you sit down at a table and scan the QR code to place your order. We ended up ordering a few items from the menu including the chicken sandwich which was huge with the spicy cheese fries which were more like smashed potatoes but really good. The butcher chicken wings were so tasty and the nugs were pretty large in size but tasted great. Ordered 7 sauces. I only liked a few of them but glad I tried them all. Place wasn't very busy and it was pretty quiet. There were tvs on both sides of the walls all showing different things. I would definitely dine here again.

Yelp
Ordered the spicy chili oil sandwich, chili oil potatoes, rolls, chicken nuggets, wings and lemonade. Every chicken item was so juicy. The nuggets coating were a bit on the saltier side, but dipping it in the curry ranch made it milder. The chili oil items are made with mala sauce so expect to have a numbing sensation in your mouth/on your tongue. The rolls were good with the seasoning on top. The lemonade was super sour, but we ended up diluting it with water. The wings were probably the best out of all the items we ordered, juicy and flavorful. The customer service was immaculate. The server/order taker was super nice and had such great customer service skills. He was just such a friendly person. I recommend giving this place a try!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
The staff was friendly and went out of their way to serve us. Food was fresh and hot. Loved the smashed potato fries. Hot chicken sandwich I had was spicy with just a touch of sweet. Great combo. Would return. We were there on a Friday night during major rain and flooding so there weren't many customers but the restaurant was clean and I liked the fun decor.

Yelp
CLUCKIN' GOOD CHICKEN!! A pleasant surprise! I've been seeing posts from Instagram and I will admit that the hype is real! Chef Brian Howard has opened another successful restaurant (owner of Sparrow & Wolf) Located on the corner of Spring Mountain & Wynn in the same plaza as 7 leaves & hot n juicy, next to the new Babystacks. There are plenty of seats inside - tables, a couple of booths, & bar table a long the wall with seats. They expanded the space even more with patio seating in the front & on the side! The moment you walk in, you can immediately smell all the flavor. You are also greeted by the kindest employees who are so helpful. It was my first time & I was directed to a table with a QR code of the menu In LOVE with the Asian inspired flavors! Chicken: - This place is called Halfbird, so I HAD to get the rotisserie chicken - half bird ($14) - served with scallion ginger sauce and a chili garlic sauce (reminds me of Sichuan mala). This has to be the the JUICIEST CHICKEN ever. These pictures took me forever to take & for this chicken to still stay warm & juicy says something. By far the best rotisserie chicken in town. You won't go wrong if you just get this. If paired with the scallion ginger sauce, it reminds of Hainanese chicken! The 12 hour marination process is perfection - The hot sandwich chicken ($11) was doused in chili garlic sauce. Again... JUICY, tender, mouth watering. - Nugget & sauce ($8 - 10pk + 1 sauce. Sauces 0.75¢/each) ordered all 7 flavors. Each bite of chicken w/ sauce was a flavor bomb Sides (all $5): - Togarashi rolls (4 total) - delicious & sweet Japanese milk buns - Chili & garlic fries - drizzled with melted gooey cheese & chili garlic crunch - Brix's Mac & cheese - we were told this is a collab with the chef & his son's recipe! So cheesy w/ fried spam! - Broccoli - roasted & covered in scallion ginger sauce They had an open window in the front that stated "chicken after dark". I'll definitely be ordering late night eats from here! Thank you, Halfbird, for an awesome time!

Yelp
Got some delivery and this was pretty good. I got a half bird and the buns with the seasoning that I can't spell. . I got the garlic chili sauce and the ranch that's green. Overall very good not great but worth a try for sure.

Alex P.

Yelp
This place is awesome! The sandwiches are massive, and the chicken so tender and juicy with a breading packed full of flavor and spice. Service is wonderful - everyone is nice and helpful, and they go out of their way to see if you need anything. They even provided some complimentary smashed potatoes with all the fixins (a special gravy and green onion mix). We tried the donuts this time, too. They were glorious, especially after dipping in the special caramel sauce. The space is fun as well - featuring silly fowl art and playing awesome music (yasss Broken Bells!). This is my second time here, and I'll be urging my friends to try it next time.

Yelp
We dropped by on a Friday evening for dinner. It was empty when we got there around 6:30, but the modest space filled up 30 to 45 minutes later. You sit yourself down, scan a QR code and order/pay on your phone, and a little while later your food is brought out to you. The joint itself is very nicely designed. It's a fun and comfortable place to have a meal. Contact with the staff behind the counter is minimal, but they are friendly. This place has some nice tasting grub at a reasonable price. Definitely a few notches above your average rotisserie crunchy chicken sandwich place. We had a very pleasant dining experience here. It's certainly worth giving a try if you're interested in a slight twist and upgrade to your next chicken meal.

Nang L.

Yelp
This place is pretty good. I got the hot chicken sandwich. The taste was good but nowhere near hot. It was more like a mild chicken sandwich. It orders it with a side of Spam Mac and cheese. The spam Mac and cheese was good as well. It was made with a unique pasta shape that made it more fun to eat. I wish the spicy level was more intense but I would still come back for a good chicken sandwich and to try out their other menu items.

Marc L.

Yelp
I decided to stop in and try the chicken. 12:15 and I was the only one there. I thought that was odd, but now I know why. The chicken while good, is outrageously priced. $14 for a very small 1/2 chicken which doesn't include any sides. Costco's rotisserie chicken is $5 for a whole one, and it tastes as good. I hate to say this, but one and done!

Ashriel T.

Yelp
THIS PLACE DESERVES ALL THE HYPE. Food is INSANELY GOOD & Customer service is TOP NOTCH. Also if it matters to some (like it does to me), the tables are CLEAN. Other "hot chicken" places would have unwiped, sticky ones. Man can't stress it enough, HALF BIRD IS

Richard N.

Yelp
A chicken spot like none other! For chicken in different ways in a fast casual space, swing by this spot for some good flavors. You can order and at the walk-up cashier or find yourself a seat and scan the QR code that's available at every seating area. Have yourself a fried chicken sandwich, nuggets, or whole/half rotisserie chickens. This is the first time I've been to a restaurant where I ordered chicken that was generally still all together and honestly, was a bit confused about where to start. The Half-Bird ($14) I ordered arrived to the table and the kind employee goes, "just dig in!", and so I did. The wing/leg just so easily broke off with juices just flowing out. This slow cooked bird was so delicious. Also had an order of nuggets (10pc. $8) which were lightly breaded and still with perfectly cooked meat. There's no star knocked down, but if I had, it'd be in regards to the entrance. The outdoor patio space is a cool idea, but it hid any real welcoming. Not sure if this was intentional, but after a quick search, there's a door off to the side that worked.

Rolly T.

Yelp
Great new addition at Vegas Chinatown!! That chicken is so darn good. They gave us extra sauce and I would say the green curry ranch, scallion ginger, and yuzu hot honey are our favorites. Make sure to make room for dessert- mango soft serve ice cream with crispy rice balls and fresh Mochi; the chocolate chip cookies is soft and has hint of SALT. By the way, this comes from same owner of Sparrow and Wolf!!! I was about to write a bad review but the chef totally made up for it - a delay on our meal due to computer malfunction!! Definitely coming back and try the other entree in the menu.

Regina B.

Yelp
Decided to finally try this place this afternoon after I saw a post about it. Me and my husband just shared a 10pcs chicken nuggets meal since we saw online the size of the nuggets ate pretty big it comes w some smashed potatoes and we got a side order of the rolls. I ordered it a head of time so it was ready for pick up when we got in there but we decided to just eat in there since there was only 2 people eating in there. Place is nice and clean. The rolls are delicious soft and warm, the nuggets it self is nice decent size it was hot and freshly cooked but it's too salty for both me and my husband we got the siratcha mayo dip and chili garlic crunch dip which was just ok, my pineapple cream soda was really good. Even though it was only a 10pcs meal we still had left over and when we got home my 16yr old ate the rest of the potatoes and nuggets and she also said it's too salty both the potatoes and nuggets. I think it's just ok not sure if we will be back, maybe for the rolls and the drink I will.

Yelp
Since I find myself out in Spring Mountain pretty regularly for 85C Bakery and 99 Ranch, I've seen Half Bird Chicken & Beer going up in construction for a few weeks and I was pretty interested in trying it out. Half Bird is located in the strip mall that also has a ton of other businesses and not enough parking. Fortunately we went in the mid afternoon on a Saturday before the dinner rush and after the lunch rush. The staff was pretty friendly and the interior was thoroughly chickened themed. They also have outdoor seating which I don't think many people will use when the sun is out in the middle of the Vegas summer, but maybe a nice hangout in the evening. The menu is pretty straightforward and you can actually order from the table with your phone off their QR code which is great if you want to minimize human interaction. Here's what we ordered and what we thought: -Half Bird Combo - Half a rotisserie chicken, gravy fries, and ginger ale. We selected the Green Curry Ranch dipping sauce. The chicken was pretty tasty. Most places that do rotisserie chicken have all the flavor on the surface and if you bite off the skin you're left with cooked chicken meat with not much flavor. Half Bird does a good job marinating the chicken so the meaty goodness has flavor. The meat was tender and moist, the skin was flavorful and overall the chicken wasn't super greasy. The green curry ranch dipping sauce was tangy but I didn't really enjoy it too much and preferred the chicken on its own. The gravy fries were fine. The fries themselves were thick cut and reminiscent of steak fries. The brown gravy was standard issue. Overall I would recommend trying a different side. Ginger ale was a-okay. -Butcher wings - You get 3 whole wings (winglet, wing flat, wing drumstick) and we selected the chili garlic crunch sauce. The wings were crispy (not fried) and were seasoned with a salt. The meat was tender and tasty. The chili garlic crunch sauce tasted like generic spicy oil hot sauce you get at dim sum or Chinese restaurants, but also had garlic in it. I actually preferred the wings minus the sauce as I didn't feel like the chili garlic crunch added much. Half Bird Chicken and Beer also has a few beers available, unfortunately I didn't try any of them. Overall I would say the food was 3.5 stars but I round up to 4, maybe worth a visit if you're in the area. https://youtu.be/I6tlm_WXFyE

Yelp
If you are looking for someone different from just regular fried chicken then come check this place out. They put a cool spin on Rotisserie Chicken with variety of different sauces to choose from. I opted for the Half chicken with a side of Mac n cheese. I also paired it with cockfight pils beer, the can was pretty cool! Inside was nice and they offer seatings outside as well. The order taking was a self kiosks touch screen. Check this spot out!

Shannon R.

Yelp
Must try!!!! This place blows away other chicken competitors!!! Coworkers and I decided to try this restaurant (based on Yelp reviews). It was so good that we will be putting it in our rotation! I ordered half a bird. This chicken was cooked perfectly. Super juicy and extremely flavorful. They offer many different dips, but honestly the chicken was so good, I didnt use any! The side of *fries* were amazingly delish!!!! I also ordered their black tea which which had a subtle fruit taste, again, delish!!!

N M.

Yelp
This is a great casual eating experience. Decor is hilarious, bright and clean! Bathroom is hilarious! Easy to order from your table on the app. Or, you can order on the screen when you come in. Welcome to modern tech dining. The food we ordered was great! Lots of TVs to watch sports! Chicken was seasoned and fried beautifully. The cheese fries were bomb! I could see late night drinking leading one here! Gotta love China Town! There are tables inside and seating outside. Parking is also in the back and a few steps to walk down to get to the side door. For the price, I felt the quality was there and we got enough to feel satisfied! So many things I wanted to try, so I'll be back!

Genel S.

Yelp
My first time here! Came here for lunch and first off Rosa greeted us at the front counter and she was smiley and upbeat. I ordered the Classic Chicken Sandwich Combo and it was so flavorful! We shared Togarashi Rolls and they tasted like they had honey butter with furikake on top. Again, delicious! This is a place where you order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you when it's ready. You can tell that everything was freshly made to order. It was a nice Spring day so we are outside. It was a relaxed, casual place to have lunch. I'm definitely going to be back!

Nai L.

Yelp
Finally tried out this place near my office and so glad I did. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The rolls were soft and warm and loved the sprinkle of flavoring on top. The mac and cheese had good flavor and enjoyed the pieces of spam in it. The broccoli was good but wish it had more florets vs the stems. The gravy fries were also delicious and I loved dipping them in the sauces. All the sauces were tasty but the standout was def the curry ranch, loved, loved, loved the flavor. Also how fun was our champagne bucket with solo cups lol Will def be back to try the nuggets, sandwiches and desserts The owners happened to be there and they were very friendly and welcoming

Angel K.

Yelp
I love Half Bird! They literally thought of everything when branding this place. From the bathrooms, their catch phrases, the wall paper, the menu, the staff. It's all top notch. It's in the corner of a China town plaza so parking can be eh. There's plenty of seating. Okay back to half bird: they specialize in rotisserie chicken meals with different sauces. They also have nuggets and chicken sandwiches. Their side dishes are all great. I love their gravy fries and add their chili oil crisp. They have broccolini, mac and cheese with spam, potato wedges, chicken salad, dinner rolls. Their chicken is really good. Tender, juicy. I like being able to pick my own sauce and mix and find what suits me best. It's my fave chicken spot at the moment. I went to their grand opening and then a group of us just went a few days ago and tried everything on the menu basically. Always get lemonade and always get dessert. Their nuggets with hot honey are next level.

Amber Z.

Yelp
Food was good but not a fan of the ordering. I ordered the chicken sandwich which came with pickles and shredded lettuce. I am not a fan of shredded lettuce on my sandwiches. The flavor of the sandwich was good but between the bun, shredded lettuce, and sauce it was difficult to eat. The fries came with optional gravy on the side. Not traditional fries either but smashed petite potatoes fried. My dining companion ordered the nuggets and buns. The nuggets were large and spicy compared to the sandwich. To order you have to use the QR code and have to use a credit/ debit card. No cash accepted.

Sommer S.

Yelp
Super fun spot. The service was awesome. We came in kinda late. We didn't realize they closed in like 15 min. But the waitress was so nice and knew it was our first time in. She recommended items and even asked the cooks to turn back on the deep fry cookers to make us one of their desserts. Must try.

Kris K.

Yelp
What a nice spot! Cool decor inside. Love the illuminated Chicken feet on the ceiling. Some seating inside but, more seating outside. We had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was perfectly crisp on the outside & chicken was moist. It was the perfect amount spice & sweetness. The gravy fries weren't bad but, I could do without. Although, it's cashless & you order on your phone, service was great. Everyone was friendly & we were asked if we were enjoying our food by multiple employees. I would recommend & I hope this place pops off.

This place is a danger to my weight and wallet. The chicken sandwiches are so fuckin delicious, and they're (forgive me) moist. The waitstaff was super nice too and they messed up some cookies (they looked a Lil funny but they tasted delicious). Considering most places really cheap you on meat it's really a pleasant surprise when you bite into your sandwich with a generous slab of meat. Lol I dined in, seeing the Chicken man art was really enjoyable

Yelp
Walked in at 6pm on a Wednesday night and the service was outstanding. Let the gentleman at the front know that we had never been here and we were in LV from Nashville. He explained menu and how items were all made in house except the buns for the sandwiches. We had questions on some of the sauces and he let us try all the sauces. I then asked him what the TOGARASHI ROLLS were bc I had read other reviews on these. Added those to our order. So, the rotisserie chicken is absolutely fabulous. Great taste and juicy! No sauce is needed. BUT I had to try the sauces. I sampled each one and none of them really stood out on their own UNTIL you taste them on the chicken and that's where the magic comes in! Each sauce really made the flavor pop of both the chicken and the sauce. Soooo darn good! The honey one was my favorite but I also really enjoyed the curry ranch as a close runner up for first place. And holy cow! The Brussel spouts are delicious!! I would order just these! Ha! The lemonade they have once again- DELICIOUS! These rolls- another praise be! After eating our meal the staff came out and asked us how it was and we let him know how great it was and he then explained that the owners also have a more upscale version called Sparrow and Wolfe. We will be going there next! He then brought out a chocolate chip cookie for us to try. I'll be saving that for my coffee in the morning. Thank you for the amazing service and the outstanding quick dinner! We need one of these in Nashville ASAP!! I mean, it is referred to as NashVegas!

Yelp
1st timer...lunch time. This place is hecka cute. That bathroom and mirror in the hallway was giving me life. LOLLLL! Anywhooo...the food was good, not da.bomb, but good. I rate the food overall 3.8. The chicken sandwiches were HUGE, yet flavorful. I ordered the HOT chicken because that's why we came, but there was noooooo heat. Like seriously I think they forgot the hot part. I had the oil part, but definitely no heat. Like frfr. Moving on to those "fries"..."lies"...that smashed fried baby potatoes with gravy and onion. Now the gravy was actually good and flavorful but that was not fries. Save the best for last....THAT LEMONADE WAS DA.BOMB.COM!!!! . I'LL GO BACK JUST FOR THE LEMONADE. With that said the customer service was good and the outside area is hecka cute. I probably won't go back on my own, however if someone wants to visit or a suggestion I'll advise.

Yelp
The chicken and bread is good. The sauces are to die for. The service is great and the staff are friendly

Yelp
Owners of Sparrow + Wolf, I had high expectations... and it HIT!!! Amazing beer chicken, smoke flavor with incredible sides. Fun, energetic themed corner in the heart of Chinatown!! I couldn't get enough! All chicken was cooked at the perfect temp, slight crispy outside, beautiful juicy tender meat on the inside. Told that 90% of menu was made in house, and the items that weren't were made by their chefs at Sparrow:) Classic chicken sandwich- honestly put every chicken out there to shame! Incredible! A must! Gravy fries- more like smashed potatoes but I ain't mad! At least twice fried, crispy outside, soft inside... great execution and accompaniment. Brix Mac-(not macaroni lol) but solid! Not overly creamy or moldy... sharp, clean and textured. Togarashi milk rolls- mmmmMMmmmm! Great seasoning, salty and savory! Baked by S+W pasty chef!!! Sleeper on the menu. Half bird- awesome beer chicken if you're a fan of true beer chicken. Smoky flavored, buttery saltiness! Cooked perfectly!!! A definite must for great chicken!! Awesome sides!!! At first I thought looking that it was overpriced for a "chicken" spot... but we'll worth it! Promise!

Yelp
My very first time trying this place and I'm impressed. It was a slow afternoon so I didn't have to wait long at all. Food was cooked to order and was very flavorful. I'm local and I've driven by this place multiple times and just decided to try it. Will be going back. Oh and just an fyi this is a cashless business.

Yelp
I'm back again with a seasonal change in the menu! When I say this place is soooooo goood please believe me. Every item individually has an extensive taste factor . I can't stop dancing after every bite. Please get into the details of the decor the ambiance is amazing. Good vibes only ! Self service to order but staff provides helpful service with assisting.

Yelp
We were wanting Korean fried chicken, but this place over exceeded our expectations!! The customer service was TOP KNOTCH! They are knowledgeable, super friendly, and attentive. Got the chicken wings and goodness the seasoning and juiciness was . I had the scallion ginger sauce with it. It was a great dipping sauce, but I needed some spiciness to it. One of the superb employees in the back gave me some of their "special dry pepper spice" and can I say it elevated the dip to a different universe. I definitely can say I would never need lip injections after eating this. My lips were on fire, in a good way. Of course, we ordered more than just chicken wings. We got the ramen, chicken pot bao, Brig's Mac and cheese, togarashi rolls, and chicken nuggets. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly! I definitely am coming back here next time I'm in Vegas.

Yelp
PROS- chicken is on point...damn! I thought it stands alone by itself. The sauces we tried were all dope. My favorite was the ginger scallion... something so different but it took it to another level. The miso bbq was lip smacking....curry ranch was odd at first then you get that lil kick..mmm The smashed potatoes were addicting as heck! Couldn't believe how well seasoned and flavorful they were. We opted for our Mac n Cheese without the spam...good flavor just more sauce on the noodles, still didn't stop us for fighting for last one... Customer service was great...the staff were really nice and made us feel like family/friends...hard to get that type of feeling these days... Kudos! CONS- the portion size of the SIDES was a tad small for a family meal....so get 2 of each cause you will eat em all...yum! Only reason I didn't give it a 5star. Side Note Said they were opening a location in Henderson soon. Hopefully a summerlin location one as well. We drove from Cheyenne n 215...so worth the drive for some good @ss chicken!!

Yelp
Located in one of the longest, busiest, and best plazas Las Vegas has to offer, Half Bird Chicken & Beer is a new semi fast food chicken place that has a menu to satisfy pretty much any chicken lover. I stopped here a few weeks back for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised with just how cool the inside of this place is (I'm a true sucker for neon lights). We sat at our table and scanned the QR code witch lets you not both order and pay for the food right from your cell phone. The menu here covers some different chicken types like chicken sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, and chicken nuggets while also offering a number of sides like cool types of macaroni and cheese, gravy fries, rice, and even some decked out rolls. For me, I knew I needed to give the half bird a go with a side order of the gravy fries....which might of changed who I am. The half bird itself was juicy and had some solid flavour, but didn't blow my mind away or anything like that, don't get me wrong, It checked all the right boxes and tasted great, but that's not what knocked it out of the park for me. Now let's talk about the gravy fries....these thick french fries covered in umami gravy sauce were quite possibly some of the best fry/sauce combo I remember having in recent years. The sauce was absolutely delicious while the french fries were the perfect level of crisp, soft, and crunch, top notch fries in every way! Overall, Half Bird Chicken & Beer was a great place to grab some dinner and could even be a great place to grab desert. On top of the food, this place has ice cream (even though it was sold out when we were there) and even offers a late night ordering window outside to feed you deep into the sin city night. Will I be back? Yes, I desperately need to know what this places breaded chicken brings to the table, but in the mean time, come check this place out for yourself, you will not regret it!

Yelp
Described as a "love letter" to Chicken Half Bird is the newest culinary concept from Chef Brian Howard, the man whose Sparrow + Wolf helped elevate Spring Mountain now focusing on a more casual Restaurant without sacrificing in terms of technique or complexity. Opened in August to raves from (their words) "Cool Food Kids," though the location at the end of a constantly-crowded plaza has thus far delayed an on-site visit by this writer, it was via catering that Chef Howard chose to send a smattering of menu offerings on Friday with delivery both professional and timely. Offering "whatever Chicken you're craving," in this case omitting Rotisserie Birds in favor of fried "Nuggs" and Sandwiches, Half Bird immediately shows good branding in terms of packaging and nomenclature - the bite-sized Poultry moist with good spicing even before being plunged into one of seven housemade Sauces. Comparable to Big Chicken in scope and price, though the source of Half Bird's Birds is not promoted, Sandwiches see Howard and team coat Breasts delicately before placing them on housemade Potato Rolls, "Spring Mountain Hot Chicken" tingling thanks to Sichuan Peppercorn while "Classic" polarized audiences via Cheese and sweet Mayo. Beta-testing Pot Pie Bao on the group, texture on point but the interior in need of seasoning, Sides feature big flavors but may not be for everyone as Broccoli eats akin to Garlic confit and Brix's Mac 'n Cheese has a soupy consistency outside of crispy bits of Canned Meat. Better off with Fries, slow-cooked Rotisserie Potatoes roasted in Chicken Fat as crispy as one can hope (and even better ladled with "Umami Gravy,") Dessert is singular but mighty in the form of crispy-rimmed, soft-centered Chocolate Chunk Cookies flecked with Sea Salt. ***Based on catering alone Half Bird checks all the boxes in terms of customer service plus branding, but across this order seems best when focusing on simplicity rather than more creative flavors where "a Level Up from the Rest!" seems to obscure rather than enhance otherwise skilled cooking. An in-person visit to try the Rotisserie will need to occur for further comment.

Yelp
I had seen Half Bird come through my social media feed since I'm a fan of the local brewery that supplies many of their beers (HUDL). The fact that this is on one of my very favorite parts of town made this a must-try! I brought my brother with me, and as we approached the entrance we saw a game of cornhole (or bags) set up nearby. We tossed a couple before heading inside. The restaurant has a cozy seating area with table, booth or bar-style seats, along with outdoor patio seating with misters (essential in the Vegas heat). I ordered the Spring Mountain Hot Chicken. The chicken was perfectly tender with a spicy sesame flavor. The portion size was just right. My brother ordered the Smash Burger, which he really enjoyed. We also had the Togarashi Rolls (Japanese milk bread with honey butter and sea salt). They were incredible. I paired that with the Cockfight Pils, which they had on tap. It was light, refreshing, and went perfectly with the spicy sando. The staff were patient, professional, and prompt with everything. I'd highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the dishes Half Bird has to offer. Located in the heart of Chinatown, it's perfect for a day of exploring the central Vegas Valley.

Yelp
After seeing an influencer rave about this spot yesterday, I took the bait.... I went yesterday for lunch and the setup of the place is really nice, especially the out door patio vibe-esque with full shade covering from the sun. I got the half bird combo with Mac & Cheese. The chicken had NO other season on it that I could taste other than sea salt and the skin wasn't crispy. If you look at the pic, you can tell the skin has no type of crisp to it AT ALL. Definitely nothing special, other than organic/fee range/etc. I was more disappointed about the Mac & cheese. As good as it looked, it was some of the blandest Mac & cheese Ive had. The lemonade was top notch. I'm going to give it another try next week and try the chicken sandwiches or something but this did not hit like I though it was going to hit. The service was great.

Yelp
From the chef of Sparrow and Wolf comes a "fast food" chicken eatery that really is clucking good! First, 1/2 of a rotisserie chicken is $14. If you just said to yourself "but Costco chicken is just $5", you're missing the point. Stop reading and go to Costco. The bird is brined giving it the telltale juiciness. The mild chicken flavor is punched up with garlic, thyme and lemon zest. The flavors are amped up even further with one of their sauces that come with. The sweet miso bbq adds a nice fermented funk but the yuzu hot honey, a real winner. Do grab some nuggets. Brined, breaded, beautifully fried. Somewhat crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Once again, sauces really add. This time a green curry ranch did the trick perfectly. Be sure to add some sides. The roasted broccolini tossed with a ginger and scallion dressing and deep fried garlic and the rotisserie rice, they say lime, cilantro, butter but I say there's rotisserie chicken drippings in there too, make for a perfect pairing. Finally, do get the togarashi rolls. Pillowy milk bread brushed with a mildly spicy togarashi butter. Tear it open, spread the green curry ranch and pop in a chicken nugget, oh yeah! Order at the counter or take a seat, scan the QR code and order and pay with your phone. A great take on a chicken eatery. Looking forward to trying more.

Yelp
This place is soooooo good! It's a small place with indoor and outdoor seating. The lady that took our order was very helpful and all the staff were incredibly nice. We ordered the Halfbird, smashed rotisserie potatoes, 10 pack nuggs, and four sauces. Everything was great. Every sauce we tried was delicious. The rotisserie chicken was juicy and had nice seasoned, crispy skin. And the nuggets were flavorful. They were all out of champagne when we came, but we had beer and a Moscow mule. They also had liquid death water, which was a plus. Based on the price point, the food far exceeds expectations. The prices are great and the food was awesome, we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
This is the hottest new spot in Chinatown! The food and vibe is top-notch. I stopped in for lunch today and couldn't wait to write this review. The restaurant is located on the corner of Spring Mountain and Wynn with outdoor and indoor dining options plus a walk-up window. Ordering is simple and fast either through a tablet at the counter or using their platform on your phone. The vibe of this spot is clean, hip, modern, and inviting. The menu is small but mighty! Standouts include: - The Butcher Wings with any of their signature sauces (my personal favorite is the green curry ranch) - The Spring Mountain Hot Chicken (blew my socks off it was so good) - Chilli Garlic Fries - Brix's Mac'n Cheese (a must if you order the Hot Chicken) - The Half Bird "Cockfight" Pils (a match made in heaven with the wings) I will be back and soon because I just found out they have a "secret" late-night menu on Fridays & Saturdays from 11 pm - 2 am. The late-night menu includes ramen and chicken pot pie bao. Also when you stop in ask for Richard. He is one groovy guy and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. Two enthusiastic chicken wings up!

Yelp
This place is 11/10 for everything! The customer service is the best. The food is super yummy and unique! They even have their own lemonade. I love this place it was our first time coming. Definitely coming back here when I come to Vegas again. Something that caught my attention was how clean they are you can tell the owner or the manager is on top of it! Keep up the good work.

Yelp
Awesome ambiance, friendly staff, great decor, multi gender restrooms and very tasty chicken sandwiches. Cold beer is a total bonus. Skip the fast food and go here instead!

Yelp
Finally get to try this place out, is new. When I first walk up, I wasn't sure where is the entrance at, seem like the front, but have to walk through the outdoor tables, and the door seem hidden at the end. Got inside, the guys inside the kitchen just look at you, no hi, no welcome, no nothing. Menu located on the top. There is a computer screen at the counter, you place your order and pay by credit card only, no one help me, I guess cash is not an option at this place. 3 chicken wings, gravy fries and a beer looking bottle water, $19+ tax After, I have to go home and cook me some Instant noodle. 3* going for the chicken, because it is good, but is too expensive for me, to fill me up, I probably have to spend $30-$40, maybe even $50. Sushi place few shops over, $28.95 all you can eat, not chicken, but it will fill me up. Over all, won't be back, sorry Chicken's Peeps in the Kitchen, say hi or welcome when people walking in.

Kelsey P.

Yelp
The best chicken place hands down. The quality and flavor of the food here is crazy and so worth the money. I love that they cut and marinate the chicken in house. I also love the idea of being able to order from your table. The overall aesthetic of this place is 1000/10. Every detail of Half Bird was so well thought out. I can't wait to come back!!!
