I got Halftime Pizza for takeout and while it was extremely filling, it wasn't as good as some other places in the city. Still, it wasn't bad, and the cheese was at least very tasty. I had both the BBQ Chicken and Margherita pizzas:
BBQ Chicken: This honestly wasn't terrible, but the dough was really doughy if that makes sense. There was a nice amount of cheese, chicken, and red onions on the slice, but the BBQ sauce was a bit strong and distributed unevenly. Some pieces were really sweet while the others didn't have much sauce coverage at all. And the crust was really doughy and chewy which was good for filling up my stomach, but difficult to chew and enjoy. I think the slice could have been okay even with the doughy crust if the sauce was a little less sweet or of it were distributed differently though. Still, not a bad slice!
Margherita: The cheese on this was actually really really delicious. There are CHUNKS of mozzarella on this, and it was so creamy and tasty. This pizza is really LOADED with sauce, chunks of tomato, and a nice basil blend, but it was almost too heavy. As a logistics thing, it was very hard to pick up a slice and I had to slide it over to the edge of my plate and slurp it up to eat. A knife and fork probably would have worked as well, but I do tend to like to pick my slices up. Because there was so much sauce, the dough was also a bit soggy and doughy, but the cheese on this really made up for it.
Overall, I give this a 3/5 - I'd try some of the other more traditional slices (cheese, pepperoni) and the Margherita really had some nice mozzarella on it, but it didn't blow my mind.
