We had an awesome 24 hours in Dallas. Marissa was amazing before we even checked in and throughout our stay. She helped me get an in room couples massage set up. We stayed in a suite and the room was very nice and spacious. Had a great breakfast at Ellie’s. Love all the art at the property. The location was great. We’ll definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! The service was excellent throughout our stay. Ava was amazing before we even checked in, and every staff member we encountered delivered top-tier service. Another highlight was the gym. Since it’s a shared residential fitness center, the equipment is far above the standard hotel setup — high-quality cardio machines and equipment. It was perfect for us! We also really enjoyed the on-site restaurant that provides room service. Everything we ordered was delicious. We went to a Stars game and loved that we could walk there in about 25 minutes with zero issues or concerns. The location felt safe and incredibly convenient. This hotel truly elevated our celebration and made the trip special. We would absolutely recommend it and will stay again!

Beautiful, light and bright hotel. We go to Dallas every year for our anniversary in January. We switch hotels each year in hopes of finding the perfect place. We have stayed at some very nice hotels but the Hall Arts Hotel was a little extra nice. The concierges were so friendly. When Oz and Marissa found out it was our anniversary they upgraded our room and sent beverages and fruit to our room. That made our trip even more special. We ate breakfast both mornings at Ellies. WOW!! Everything about this hotel is incredible but the best part is the staff. They made our experience so wonderful! My mom, sister and I came to Hall Arts hotel to celebrate all three of our birthdays and the staff SPOILED us! I’m talking two bottles of champagne, macaroons, free gelato at Ellie’s (THANK YOU TANNER) and more! Ava, Alexis, Curtis, and Brandon are absolutely amazing. We had a fantastic weekend thanks to them. Our room was gorgeous and very clean, the beds were so comfy and the pool was heated and delightful. We felt safe and the location is awesome! I recommend Hall Arts Hotel 1,000%!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding—everything from the lobby to the rooms was spotless and well-maintained, which made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The housekeeping staff clearly take great pride in their work. Equally impressive was the service. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant, and any request was handled promptly and with a smile. Overall, the combination of a very clean environment and excellent service made for an exceptional experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both comfort and hospitality.

What an amazing weekend at the Hall Arts Hotel Dallas!! My daughters and I stayed there for the weekend to celebrate all three of our birthdays! We were greeted by amazing staff!! Alexis and Curtis made us feel welcome and special right away! With complimentary champagne and macaroons for our birthday to begin our stay! We enjoyed the heated rooftop pool each night. It was so peaceful and beautiful under the stars with Dallas City lit up! They lobby is so stunning with festive Christmas decor! Curtis helped facilitate a little photo shoot that we had. Ava and Brandon provided champagne for us at the pool on Saturday with a sweet birthday card! Tanner was our waiter and took such good care of us! He treated us to gelato with fruit to take to our room to have with our cupcakes! He also gave us a wonderful recommendation for something to do the following day. Our room was gorgeous and clean with a great view! I love the clean, modern aesthetic of the Hall Arts Hotel! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel special in a beautiful environment.

My family and I have stayed at Hall Arts many times and have always enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very nice and the staff are always wonderful. However, I do need to post this as I feel others need to know this is possible. On our last stay, the room next door to us was very loud around 10pm, which has never happened. So I called the front desk just to let them know. Then around 2am we were woken up to screaming and cussing in the hall from this group of people. It woke my kids up as well. The hotel staff did kick them out but needless to say, it happened and was quite alarming.

Great hotel. A lot of creative pieces of art and very clean rooms. Gym has apples, water and plenty of towels. Pool is outside. Front desk is great. Offered wine and water when I checked in. Thanks Breanna

Beautiful hotel. Amazing service. Highly accommodating. I stayed here during a recent work trip and was very impressed. The staff members that I interacted with were highly accommodating and very friendly. Particularly, I interacted with McKinley during the check in process and another individual when receiving room service. Both were so kind and made me feel so welcome. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. Art decor surrounds the walls within the rooms and on each floor. The lobby has some beautiful art pieces as well. Loved that unique aspect of this location. Daily room cleaning went above and beyond. I was pleasantly surprised to see my items on the bathroom counter organized, my shoes organized, my luggage placed on the table at the foot of the bed for me, etc. The fitness center was impressive. Plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, and stair masters were available. There was a full weight rack with machines throughout the room as well. Each station had a complimentary water bottle and hand towel. Just wow! My only wish is that grab and go breakfast was available. On a work trip, I didn't have time to sit down and eat at the restaurant, and didn't want to use room service as my only other option. Next time I'm in the Dallas area, I'll definitely consider staying here again!

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a high level of service, immediately setting the bar high. I had the pleasure of staying in the avant-garde suite, which was both clean and spacious, providing a perfect room for work and relaxing after exploration. One of the highlights of the Hall Arts Hotel is its art museum like exhibits throughout its spaces. It's a creative spin and allowed me to take breaks throughout the day to explore all the art. The hotel's location is top notch with a plethora of excellent restaurants just steps away. From fine dining to sampling local favorites, there is no shortage of food spots to explore. One of a kind hotel! Loved it!

Beautiful, modern, and clean hotel w/ attentive and professional staff. I stayed here on 02/12/2024 on a business trip. The room was modern, clean, bright, and spacious. Honestly, I guess it takes an upscale hotel to truly make me feel at home since I'm such a clean person. The employees - literally every single staff member - were phenomenal. They were warm, friendly, and so professional/polite. It really reflects how top notch everyone is. Special thanks to driver Dave, THE warmest guy there is! If you want to know little facts about Dallas, Dave is the guy! He can drive you up to 5 miles from the hotel, so I went to a gelato shop in Lower Greenville. Don't forget to tip the man or Zelle him! I'm a cashless gal, so the least I could do was buy a hardworking man GELATO! :) And we can't forget Vernon, the doorman! I'm so used to opening my own doors, that a doorman makes me feel extra special. It's these little things that I notice and appreciate. I didn't get the names of two other staff members, but I hope somehow they'll get recognized. One guy had the thick black square framed glasses, and he was working 02/13 at the check in desk. I loved his gentle demeanor and just gracefulness when I asked to have my luggage held. Same goes for the brunette, combed hair gentleman that returned my luggage to me in the late afternoon. He actually wrote Dave's name for me again on a card. If you're looking for a 5 star experience, like a true 5 star experience, Hall Arts Hotel does not disappoint.

Wow, just had an amazing stay at this hotel. Service was excellent and really accommodating from literally every employee you came across. We were checked in promptly and received a beautiful corner room which was spotless with such calming decor. Room service was great and we had a wonderful breakfast. Great location located in the Arts District with multiple museums and performance centers within walking distance. If you are staying in Dallas and want true luxury, I would definitely recommend!

Stayed a week ago, left my computer charger in the room. I called twice the first day home, never got a call back. I called the next day spoke to the front desk who was trying to get a hold of housekeeping with no luck she was going to call back, never heard from anyone. Bad customer service.

From the moment you arrive at valet, the service is exceptional! Proceeding into the hotel where an employee greeted us and lead us to the front desk. The lobby smells beautiful and is very clean. The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful pointing out where the gym, pool and restaurant are located. Even the housekeeper was fantastic! The room was comfortable and very clean. I was here for business and was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful hotel! A great, well stocked gym and beautiful artwork throughout! Would definitely stay here again!

BABBBBYYYYYYY this hotel is 100 out of 10!! I'm going to give you detail by detail so lets get into it! I have traveled all over and hands down this is the best property I have stayed at. The number one thing i pay attention to is customer service, & the customer service here puts Chick-fil-a to shame you hear me!! Upon arrival even though I had a private car service even the valet team was extremely welcoming and not once did I have to open a door or touch my luggage. When entering the hotel I was greeted with wine! so of course we are already starting off right lol. The check in team really went above and beyond and made me feel so welcome! I hadn't even given the lady my ID and Credit card yet and it was as if they knew me already because they addressed me by name and stated they gave me a complimentary upgrade. Mind you, I already had a suite reserved so to be upgraded to the Contemporary suite was just amazing! I have to shout out this gentlemen who I feel really made sure I felt welcome! I hope I get his name right but Mr. Devine or Divine! his customer service his personality and his professionalism really represented the overall brand of the hotel for me! He made sure I felt safe and comfortable since i was traveling solo. The staff really make sure you do not want for anything! I would suggest bringing decent amount of tip money because it is hard to not want to bless each person you encounter here. They don't even allow you to get your own ice so i did find myself calling down a few times for ice refills. The entire hotel is artistic so it makes you feel that you are at an art gallery even in your room. They really pay attention to detail! I appreciated the makeup wipes and makeup towel for ladies in the vanity! The bathrooms are stunning and the soaking tub alone was heaven sent! it faced the room and the tv rotates so it was nice having a bubble bath while watching tv and sipping a cocktail! The bed! was soooo comfortable and soft! being that I am a early riser no matter where in the world i am, waking up at 10am on this trip was late for me and i loved every minute of it! The location is great and there are great things surrounding the hotel but I DID NOT LEAVE! lol I ate the entire time at the Ellies restaurant and I am a sucker for live music so I love that no matter what time I came to the restaurant or bar they have a new artist performing! My breakfast omelet was just ok but the mimosa was great and my dinner was out of this world i got the rotisserie chicken dinner and every bite just melts in your mouth. The waitstaff at the restaurant were absolutely amazing! side note: ORDER THE LEMON DROPS and keep them coming :) I love how the staff overall at this hotel just pays attention. Whenever i went to dinner i would come back to my room to see they always left me a sweet note and chocolates on my pillow. In conclusion, I know I have seen many say it's pricey and sure it can be however I don't put a price on comfort and convenience. The customer service along with the room makes it worth every damn penny! I can't thank the team enough for such a great experience! I came for a self-care trip, to clear my mind and reset and game back with my heart smiling! I have been back a week now, and my team keeps telling me that I'm glowing! I owe all that to the experience here at the HALL ARTS if you are thinking twice...DON'T run do not walk to go book this hotel!! Thanks again team and i will be back VERY SOON!! - Shonte'

Omg! My bestie and I needed a refresh from life (taking care of our aging parents and all). We booked a night with a late checkout and it was amazing! Brianna could see that we gals needed some r & r and she upgraded us! And Frank happily carried our luggage to our room and said anything we needed he was our guy. Dave happily drove us to punch Bowl social in trickle out SUC and eagerly shared the ins and out of the vehicle. And then when we ordered champagne, Cristina brought it and was more than happy to not to lift a finger. And our second bottle and dinner, Cristina delivered again. The staff went above and beyond what we needed. If you need a respite from life this place is amazing. Comfy and beautiful. I wished we could've stayed longer.

At check in, front desk provided directions to parking that resulted in me being trapped in the adjacent KPMG building until a security guard found me and let me out. From the rooms, ice must be requested to the front desk causing an unnecessary delay. Room and property were clean. Elements overall intending to make this a fancy hotel only tended to complicate the stay and confuse the guest.

Hall Arts Hotel never disappoints. The rooms are very clean, modern, plus lots of space and amenities. The bar is top notch, you also have a lounge and restaurant which are equally as great. Over all if you want a great hotel for business travel this is it.

Modern chic with loads of art in this gorgeous downtown hotel. Service at this hotel was impeccable, from curbside opening doors of the SUV and entry doors to the brief check in process. Ashley was nice and very attentive during our check in. She was very knowledgeable of all the happenings going on around town. Samantha the night mgr was very kind and generous. I got the feel that both ladies were just great ladies of accommodating hospitality. Thank you for the room upgrade Samantha. My wife fell in love with our room layout. She loved the thoughtfulness put into pleasing the customer. From the black makeup removing towel and lighted glamor mirror to the steamer for ironing our wrinkles out. The nightstand reading lite was nice as well. Our stay was just comfortable and accommodating. Thank you Hall Arts management for outstanding hospitality.

Very welcoming hotel and the suite was phenomenal. Wonderful Christmas display upon entering. Can't wait to visit again and take in some of the shows in the area. Easy access to everything ARTS downtown Dallas.

This hotel is nice, staff are lovely, the bar is elegant, but...I'm allergic to pets and had a massive reaction which resulted in a respiratory infection. The hotel suggested that they clean throughly. I stayed 4 nights, but woke sick after the 1st night.

I truly enjoyed staying at Hall Arts, as did my co-traveler. It had a well designed concept, where I could feel the cleanliness, comfort, service, and modern aesthetic. The front desk was exceptionally helpful and I felt relaxed at all times while I was there. The most impressive part of this stay was actually the gym..... it was updated, clean, and I used it for the two days I was there. Exceptional stay. Only one downside is the bedroom size, but I didn't feel claustrophobic, squeezed, or minimized. Great place to stay and I'll definitely consider staying again.

I have stayed here once before and I was so happy to be here again. McKinley was a large help from booking to navigation during my stay and I even enjoyed seeing the staff culture was amazing as they interacted. I love to walk in to a good welcome from the hotel and that was exactly what was happening. Our standard room was comfortable and clean which can be hard to find and it was so great, I didn't want to leave the room. Fortunately the dining, Ellie's downstairs had an amazing wine down Wednesday deal and our host, Scott, was a 10/10. I would recommend this hotel to family, friends, colleagues and art lovers. Upon leaving I left some very important items upstairs and within 24 hours they were able to locate my items which left me relieved and grateful once again for the staff at Hall Arts Hotel. Please set yourself up for success and book your stay with them! Shoutout to McKinley and Angel at the front desk, everyone who encounters you is lucky to meet you. Thank you, see you next time!

Great hotel, good location, awesome staff!! I wish the bar was a little more inviting and had a TV. Solid fitness center too.

DO NOT USE VALET, not happy with the service and don't want to say what I experienced but avoid Valet if possible.

The good, the bad and my personal recommendation. So let's talk about the good. First off this place is amazing. The lobby is beautiful, the restaurant is beautiful, the roof top pool area is beautiful. Did I mention that this place is beautiful. Everything is clean, the valet parking attendants are polite, the staff is friendly, in fact for the record, ever person I talked to is very nice. The rooms are clean, the TV's, phones and even the light switches are very nice. The mattress, the shower and the curtains are top of the line. Windows from the floor to celling, everything about this hotel is very modern and very nice. If your looking for a really nice hotel downtown this is the place. Now what I did nit lot like about this hotel. The pool is not heated and when we checked in the person at the front desk did not tell us about this. Also, we requested a high floor with a nice view. At first we were on the 3rd foot and then we moved to the 9th floor again because we were hoping for a view. When we got to our room the view was not really what we wanted. Maybe the guy at the front counter was new or maybe he just didn't listen to anything we had to say. Keep in mind that all the rooms that face South look right at another building that is much taller so your view is of an office building. Now with all that said a was disappointed when I checked out because my final bill was not what I expected. I had a really good conversation with a very nice lady who actually really truly listened to everything we had to say, she looked in to what happen when we checked in and she went out of her way to contact me after we checked out and she made things right. I was really taken back to how she handled the situation and I hope this hotel realizes how much Atoosa the front desk team member contributed to the situation. Thank you Atoosa for helping us out!

Nice hotel with nice people. Location was pretty decent. The food is pretty awful so I suggest finding lots of good little spots around to eat.

This is probably one of the coolest hotels I've gotten the chance to stay at. Located right in the heart of the arts district in Downtown Dallas, you've got of course all of the performing arts theaters nearby and also some bars and restaurants. When I was here it was during the entire COVID-19 pandemic so most entrances are closed except for the main door on Leonard St. Parking is located underground the hotel, valet only, and it is $36 a day which is pretty damn high. Luckily there is a public 'paid' parking lot right in front of the hotel and I believe I paid $10 for all day parking. If you're traveling with a pet, dogs are allowed but there is a $200 non-refundable fee sooooo.. it ain't worth it. Leave your fur babies at home y'all. The entire vibe of the hotel is very chic, artsy, and modern. It reminds a lot of the 'the Arts' hotel in Denver, Colorado. Wouldn't be surprised if they are owned by the same company which is privately owned. No rewards programs here, unfortunately. The bedroom was more on the smaller side but not like NYC small. I think all the nice decorations and the amount of tech built into the room makes you forget how small the room is. The entire bedroom is 'smart-controlled'. There is an iPad-like device next to the bed which is actually the remote that controls everything.. from the bedroom lights to the curtains and tv. It even controls the temperature in room. It was by far one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The windows are floor to ceiling, giving you a great view of the arts district. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the bar and pool were closed but I'll be sure to come back and stay here again once that is all over and the world is back to normal. Oh, and ice machines? Those are temporarily not in service because of COVID-19 as well, call the front desk and someone will gladly bring you ice sealed in a bag at no cost! If you're looking into moving to Dallas, they're also building a 'residential' side of the hotel. Just a note.

Dear travelers are you headed to Dallas for business or pleasure? Either way this hotel is a great stay! From checking in with Scott to honestly having a great nights rest, this hotel was fabulous. Our room was so well lit, the bathroom was spacious, and the toiletries were by Natura Bisse' (smells divine). It's nestled in the theater district, during the holidays the Christmas lights are picture perfect. Around the corner there are some great restaurants to choose from. Now to the bed, when I say I hardly ever get a good nights rest the first night in any hotel, it's the truth...but here it was a different story...the bed is a cozy cloud from heaven, I wish I could take it back with me. The pillow selection is unreal...I slept like a baby. At checkout Marvin was the best, he was extremely hospitable, and made sure I had everything I needed for my journey home. I wish I was staying longer...until next time...

Luxury hotel that's basically also an art museum. Never stayed anywhere like this but what a wonderful way to support local artists while getting a good nights sleep in an immaculately clean room. There are artworks and large photographic art by local artists in each room and also the common areas. There's also a book you can buy that showcases a lot (or maybe all?) the art that's in the hotel and that also goes to support local artists. The room was excellent and very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I only wish I could have stayed more than just 1 night because this was an excellent and very unique experience. Plus as a musician it felt good to be supporting Dallas' vibrant arts scene by staying here.

Visually stunning hotel was everything I wanted and more. A last-minute online booking secured my room. Upon arrival around 11:30am, I intended to drop by bags at the front desk until check-in in time arrived. But the gentleman helping me handed me a key and said I could go on up. I asked if I had to pay extra... I was, after all, checking in before noon! No, it was simple. The room was ready and available, and he felt no need to make me wait just to stand on ceremony. What the hotel gained by doing this was immeasurable respect on my part, and a recognition that this hotel truly cares about those who stay there. With an outstanding restaurant, a tranquil environment, and rooms of such high thread count luxury and comfort, it is difficult to leave. And since I work from my room, it was ideal. While HALL Arts is populated with a stellar clientele full of artistic merit, and business executives here for meetings, it never seemed overly busy, noisy, or conference oriented. It is a boutique hotel that is just large enough not to feel small, and small enough not to feel too large. It is almost a vacation resort in its own way. And with a price range that more that merits its staff and surroundings, this gem amid downtown Dallas is my new home away from home.

Stayed here and it was terrible. House keeping is only available from 12pm to 3pm. You have to schedule an appointment. I tried scheduling an appointment and they stated, they are already booked and need to schedule for the next day. Don't feel like you're at a hotel when your room hasn't been serviced in 4 days. Also no food options. Restaurant is closed from 10:30am to 5pm. The valet is good. They are fast and professional. Hotel has artsy feel. Went to Ellie's for a drink and the Asian bartender took 17 minutes to make an old fashioned. Don't come to this hotel unless there are zombies on the street.

Hubs and I are thrilled with this hotel! It's in the downtown Dallas arts district. The art throughout the hotel and its grounds is fabulous. There are floor to ceiling windows...even in our room. I love the use of smart lines and muted colors in furnishings with splashes of color provided by the art. There is a lot to see! The best hotels are nothing without the staff, and the staff at this hotel doesn't disappoint. For example, Asiel was our waiter at dinner. He was quite friendly and very efficient. We enjoyed our time with him. He definitely added to the experience. We also met a manager named Jeff. He was interesting, professional, and engaging! We ran into him again the next morning with another manager named Joshua. They both remembered us from the night before. They are both hysterical and well worth meeting! All that said...this hotel is worth the visit for any one of the above reasons...put it all together and you can't go wrong. We will be back!!

We were in Dallas for a family wedding - hosted at the Hall Arts - so ours was the full immersive experience - a wedding and staying at the hotel. The headline - an extraordinary experience in all aspects. The architecture is stunning - clearly designed to create a comforting space for both humans and objects d'art. The guest rooms are 5-star - design, amenities (ah the mattress) are all great. Finally - the staff - was wonderfully attentive and responsive (@Olivia - you're the best!). This new-ish hotel is spotless and modern. During a quick trip to Dallas, I was told this hotel and the Omni are the best ones in the city. I truly enjoyed my stay and you will too!

I picked this hotel for my husband and I to stay at as my reward for me for going on a trip that was for his hobby. I loved our stay. The hotel is: Artistic. Eclectic. Comfy. Modern. Clean. Tasteful. Unique. The staff is very professional. The restaurant is also very good and was worth visiting several times. Very nice stay, I'd stay here again.

Never EVER again. Checked in with lack-luster service. Got to our "okay" room. Immediately knew it would be an issue with our neighbor who we could hear as though they were IN our room.. although they obviously weren't- and they were just talking normally. Went to pool upstairs, which is MICRO sized.... please don't even bother. The bartender was rude, and made an average drink for the price.... we couldn't even get him to stir that damn Bloody Mary, or the vodka tonic we ordered... the bar back had to do it for us after the bartender acted too good to help us. The "menu" of food upstairs? Why even bother. As we stood in the ittt bitty pool, we watched a couple standing by the ledge of the rooftop smoking a joint of marijuana (which i could care less) but it was very apparent where it was coming from, and who was smoking it. The whole area knew and could smell it. As this is happening, another couple in the pool came into the pool with their own drinks i guess (same thing- who cares) and the above rude bartender, walks over and asks them to hand over their drinks. The hotel guest says hold on and chugs his drink, and the bartender GRABS IT OIT OF HIS HAND, causing a huge scene..... as another dude is smoking a joint in clear view!! Clearly this place is not being managed properly. As we are sleeping- at 4am we are awoken by our lovely neighbors who finally decided to come to their room- drunk of course. LOUD LOUD LOUD. So much for our staycation.... as we got no sleep whatsoever. Check out, and get home... my husbands toiletry bag is missing. Clearly it was left in our room. I call to see if i can go by in the morning to pick it up. SCOTT, answers the phone and tells me no one is on duty to check that out for me. Mind you, this is a boutique hotel. 5 floors. Small. You're telling me that you can't look in a lost and found book to show if items are left in a room? A huge marriot or Hilton can do this.... I've had to call before- no issues! As I'm giving my phone number to Scott, he cuts me off and keeps telling me how he cant help me. I ask to speak to a manager. "There's no manager on duty" .... you're telling me there's NO ONE at this hotel that is above you, desk boy? Come on. Keep the toiletry bag, we'll never be back- nor, will we recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.... we will actually do the exact opposite.

Was a nice place to sleep. Great view but shower wouldn't drain properly and bathroom sinks didn't drain well. Air conditioner did not work well either..

I came here for business reception the week of the hotel opening, and was able to get a quick tour of the hotel and restaurant. This place is GORGEOUS! Centrally located, brand-spanking new, and just a sexy space. Staff were very courteous, and if the hors d'oeuvres we ate were made in the restaurant, then future diners will not be disappointed. I hope to visit this hotel and restaurant as a guest in the future, my brief time there was fantastic!

The desk staff have a distant relationship with the truth, and get self-righteous in denial when called on it. Competent and confidant hotel staff know better and can say "I made a mistake" rather than lie. People who know better call it gas lighting. I checked in and checked out an hour later. With so many choices, why patronize a business that doesnt appreciate brand loyalty and Hilton's highest level of honors guest. The general manager hasn't responded in 48 hours. Many other similarly priced hotels around town, where one is welcomed. The desk staff should take their cues from the valet staff, who are warm, pleasant, welcoming and helpful.

I'll start by saying that I'm not a fan of modern architecture and given the fact that this hotel has only been open for three weeks, I'm willing to agree there may be some growing pains going on. But..... My wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary at a different hotel each December and after 47 years, there aren't a lot of really good choices left (Motel 6 isn't on our list!), but when I read about this new luxury hotel in the Arts District, I decided this would be THE place and I would surprise my bride. I made the reservation (paid for in advance - no choice), which was "non-cancellable, non-refundable and 100 percent cancellation charges apply", by the way. That should have alerted me to be wary, but I forged ahead. It seemed as though there were about ten red-coated valets waiting for us when we drove up, all wanting to help us with our one bag and holding doors open for us. Fine. Check-in was also fine, although the desk clerk's hands were shaking. Whether it was her first day or we looked really scary, I don't know. We WERE offered water or a glass of wine, which was part of the website's room description, but we declined and were given the key to our room. By the way, the website spiel indicates "complimentary snacks and beverages", which were non-existent. There is no snack bar in the room, although there is a small locking refrigerator, which did contain two bottles of water. We were surprised at how small the room was, but it was nicely appointed with interesting wall coverings (the "toilet room" had wallpaper that looked like blue crinkled paper, but was actually smooth. Actually pretty cool!) But the commode in said toilet room was very dirty. At first, I thought it might be part of the "marble", but a quick swipe with a Kleenex confirmed that was not the case. I called housekeeping and was apologetically told someone would be "right up". An hour later, my wife and I were getting uneasy because we needed to change clothes for a night out, so I called again. Again, "Someone will be right up". Ten minutes later, the phone rang. "Is there a problem with your commode?" Uh, yes. "Someone will be right up", not so apologetically. Ten minutes later, a maintenance worker rang the doorbell (a nice touch!) and cleaned the commode, saying "It's from construction". I asked him if he could reset the bedside clock, which was set to military time and an hour fast (I tried, but it wouldn't work for me). He said he didn't have a clue but would send someone else up. That never happened, so we just put our phones on the nightstands. The king bed was actually quite comfortable, but in the morning, when my wife wanted coffee, she discovered only decaf and black tea - no regular coffee. The large shower, complete with hand-held nozzle, was gorgeous, but even though I turned the lever to the hottest setting, the water was only luke-warm at best and alternated between that and cooler. Quick shower. As I was dressing in front of the full-length mirror, I looked down at the carpet and there was "construction debris", for lack of a better term, against the wall. There was also a sizeable clump of what looked like dog hair in front of the closet. Check-out was easy, with our receipt sent to my email. Getting the car back was simplified with a simple text to the valet and a reply as to how long until the car arrived (four minutes). When we got in the car, we realized the sunroof had been closed (fine), but the temperature control had been readjusted to "Maximum Heat" and the right mirror had been repositioned. How far away did they park the car? At home, I checked out the receipt on email and discovered we had been charged $36.00 for "Valet Overnight Parking". This was not mentioned during checkout and I have no intention of sending them any more money. So, in summation, if you're determined to pay a visit to the Hall Arts Hotel because you really like modern architecture and throwing away a wad of money, I'd wait about a year until they get all their ducks in a row. Right now it's not worth it.

You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. When I walk into a business with my husband and the GM only greets him, I am instantly put off. It's even worse when the GM is a woman. We are here because I was considering holding conference here. Hubby was just here to keep me company. GM screwed up royally. Our lunch and our tour were lovely but, as I said above, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

Has to be one of the cleanest hotels I been in. Very modern and the nicest staff. Front desk personnel was so helpful. Scott in the front desk made sure we were satisfied with our stay.

Beautiful property but services are limited. Upon arrival to DFW I had to call 5 times before I could get anyone to pick up. I was looking for advice on airport transportation (and was basically told, good luck). No housekeeping during our stay at all. I figured that if I asked about having our bed made up at some point during the day, they could make that happen, but no dice. Disappointing when you are paying $250/ night for a room.

I travel A LOT for work and play and this hotel is by far the best - from the valet team to the front desk to housekeeping, hands down my favorite ever. I can't say enough about Scott, and the entire staff. Customer care at the highest level imaginable, above and beyond - I could go on and on. The rooms are beautifully decorated and amenities are ample. Even a garment steamer! Thank you for the best experience! If I could give it a 1,000 out of 10 I would! Oh, I forgot to mention the restaurant and Mario - deliciousness and attentive service. Lastly - David and Marvin - icing on the cake and memorable conversations!

From the DFW area, but wanted a little vacation, so stayed here after my parents loved it. Great choice! Fantastic hotel with an incredible staff that goes the extra mile for their guests. Andrew checked us in, and he was superb. He gave us the relevant information we needed, was welcoming and beyond hospitable. He has connections at some phenomenal restaurants and made a call to get us VIP treatment. It's not just him, but the entire staff sets an atmosphere of an above five-star experience at a cost the commoner can afford. The restaurant, Ellie's, is really good, and Matthew at the bar is also exceptional. If you're from out of town, stay here. If you're from in town, stay here. This hotel know how to cater to their guests and their staff exemplifies that.

I wanted to cancel my reservation due to the fact that the show we were going to see in Dallas was canceled because of the pandemic. They told me I could cancel but I would be penalized. I said "okay how much is the penalty?" They said the entire amount. I think during a pandemic this is irresponsible and criminal. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone since the do not seem to care about the guests safety or well-being.

I'm updating to 4-stars because Sony reached out and made this right. Followed through on my refund and noted that Kelsey, the front desk manager was no longer employed there since we had started conversing. All businesses have bad days and they finally made it right. I don't think I would stay there again as Dallas has LOTS of options, but wanted to note they did live up to the refund I was promised. Thank you Sony for the follow up.

This was hands down one of my worst experiences ever. The valet staff was irritated they were working (their words not mine) so they couldn't have a good attitude as a result. 1st rm the AC wasn't working- had staff come ck "all is working" come back 3 hrs later to an even hotter room! Call the desk get moved to another room - they didn't even send someone to help us move we had to do it all ourselves- huh $400 a night couldn't send someone to help or a luggage cart. Nothing drop off keys and FIGURE IT OUT DUMMY. Then can't get into the pool try try try again back to the front desk....ok we'll let you in "is 30 min enough time" like why do I feel like I'm a hostage in my own evening?? Maybe Liam Neeson will come find me! Get up SOOO EARLY...... 30min to get the car from valet - did you read that...30min!!! Scott the over night employee was the nicest- hats off Scott hats off!!! Thanks for saving what over all was a dump truck of an expensive experience!

I recently stayed at the Hall Arts for a second time. I cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel. First off, they treat their guests with kindness, efficiency and care. Secondly, they were so welcoming to my dog, Rosie. The area is great...there are many restaurants and parks in the surrounding area. This will definitely be my primary hotel on future trips to Dallas.

Lovely modern hotel walking distance to many cultural attractions in the Dallas Arts District. Really enjoyed the open, clean design, and art installations throughout the property. Room was beautiful: comfy beds, art in rooms, big picture window view of the city, cool lighting, in-room dining ordering via tablet. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Live music in lounge was really great, too. Highly recommend. One note: would be really great if the hotel could use refillable shampoo/conditioner/lotion dispensers.

Immaculate service & rooms. The room service was not only tasty, but it was Instagram worthy. My favorite Hilton in Texas.
