Halley's Comet

Had my daughter’s 40th birthday here, Hannah and Simon were amazing, couldn’t do enough for us. The food selection was great. The bar staff were great, no one waiting more than a few minutes to be served. I would recommend the pub for a great party with fantastic people helping and supporting you throughout your journey for booking and also suggesting ideas of what’s best. 5 stars all the way from me x thank you for making her birthday so special

Went to meet friends at Halleys Comet Pub for a catch up and while we were there we all really enjoyed the Festive Menu. The staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty. We weren't rushed and was able to enjoy our visit without any pressure to leave after a certain time. Highly recommended place to eat and drink in a friendly atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly too. Thank you very much, we will be back again soon. Merry Christmas to you all. Xx 🎅🎄❄️☃️

We had a Christmas party here last night what a fantastic night music excellent fabulous buffet and atmosphere. Hannah and her staff could not do enough for us. Would recommend we will definitely be booking again. Catered really well for our gluten intolerance person. Thanks Hannah

We booked our gender reveal at Halleys Comet and it was the most special and beautifully perfect afternoon organised by their sister company Ultra Events. The pub food was delicous and reasonable with choices for everyone and considering how many guests we had and how many orders were placed, they provided the best and most reliable service imaginable. Drinks were flowing and the atmosphere was just buzzing. Also love that dogs are allowed in the pub so our fluffy boy could join us with the celebrations! Such a perfect place to host a special event. Would 100% recommend! Hannah and Simon are amazing!

Rachel & her team were absolutely brilliant in saving the day on Saturday night for my 70th birthday party. Our original venue had “double booked” at 6pm & we had people travelling from all over the country for a 7:30pm start ! The team at Haley’s Comet fitted us in brilliantly…sorted the party accommodation and managed to get everything ready by 7:30 …absolutely brilliant The staff were brilliant all night ..nothing was too much for them. Everyone said they had a brilliant evening I cannot thank the team at Hayley’s Comet enough for not only saving the day …but for how brilliant all evening they were. The venue was brilliant for our party & I would highly recommend anyone planning a party to hold it here We had a fabulous evening

We had a 40th birthday party here and it was fantastic. Hannah was amazing so helpful and friendly when booking and planning everything. Although we were booked outside on the day it was raining so she moved us inside and was super reassuring. The staff were great there (Brooke in particular looked after us) she was wonderful and helpful. The food was really good aswell!!! I will absolutely be using halleys commet in future for any parties we do.

Popped in today for the first time, lively pub with the football on so pretty busy. Really nice friendly happy staff. The food was really good and decent portions, our only gripe was the time waiting for it (an hour and a quarter) but we were told that they was having trouble with one of the burners in the kitchen so fair enough. This would have been 5* rating otherwise. The lady did offer us free drinks & a dessert by way of apology which was good of her. If we was passing by again we'd definitely stop in again.

Me and my family have been coming in for about a year ,what a brilliant pub the staff are always smiling and helpful the events they put on for the children and adults are amazing, we even got to party with a world famous d.j had the best night ,thank you everyone at Halleys Comet 😃
