Where to start. Well first I'm a little disappointed with my experience coming in here. This is a very small intimate shop, and for the space being so little, you'd expect the workers/owners to do a little more to make you feel more welcome; at the end of it all once I received my drink, I felt very rushed out as I started to sip my drink and the workers are already telling me to have a nice day. I still wanted to peruse the store while I drank my coffee, but it felt very awkward to stay after that.
It's very tight with cute little Halloween themed trinkets and items scattered. And although it's extremely cute and I love the overall vibe and variety of items, it feels very cluttered with not too much thought put into inventory and set up. However, the main reason I came In here was for tea and or coffee and I feel like that as a selling point is barley advertised, even though it's in the name of the company. When you look at the menu it's cute and handwritten and seems very promising . Until you see that it's all made with a keurig. I understand that it's a fairly new spot that's just opened up, but many cafes and tea rooms start up on their grand opening with at least a spot to sit and enjoy your tea while you breathe in the atmosphere. Here, there's none of that, not even outdoor seating in front of the shop, we had to use the next door cafes seating. Would I come back? Probably not right now at all. Would I come back in a year? Sure, I want to see where this cute little shop ends up and what else they have to offer. But all of it seems as if the owner was not prepared right off the bat for the type of business that they wanted to open up. There's nothing wrong with having ideas and what direction you'd love to go in terms of your business. But there should be a solid foundation to work off of, and unfortunately it did not feel like that at all.
In short, I love the aesthetic and idea, but the bare bones left me disappointed.
