Google
My family and I always come to Hallyu Cosmetics for our Korean skincare! They have an amazing selection of products that we can’t find anywhere else, and the quality is always top notch. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the best skincare for our needs. This has become our go-to place, and we love supporting this business every time we visit!

Google
I’m so, so happy that I found this place. I’ve been doing my skincare with Korean products for years, and they had most of the brands I’ve been looking for here. We’ll definitely be coming back

Google
I had a great experience with Lindsey ! She is so knowledgeable and professional with an esthetician background. I came in not really knowing what to get and she showed me so many good options that are good for acne prone skin. I highly recommend the store it has lots of products all with good prices as well

Google
Amazing store! Lindsey was so caring and helped me find exactly what I needed for my skin and hair. Highly recommend!

Google
I love this place! My skin was reacting badly to active ingredients in drugstore products, but the gel moisturizers and toners here were gentle enough to tolerate and feel light and refreshing. Also love the lip tint and sunscreen I got here too. It's very easy to browse since there's a small selection, and everything is organized by type of product rather than brand so you can compare and pick the right items. Staff are super nice too.

Google
Love their products and prices. Mostly skincare, but thankfully their makeup inventory has slowly started to pick up and they have testers for the makeup! They also have a rewards system that I didn’t know about, so I’m excited to get some discounts on future shopping.

Google
The only k-beauty/skincare I could find in Austin, and it well exceeded my expectations. They carry more than just Korean products, but I was intrigued by their selection of skincare specifically. The store is spacious and prices are comparable to what you’d find on Yesstyle and often less than what you’d find on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised with how calming the environment in the store was, but this is a must visit if you enjoy skincare and makeup products! Can’t wait to go back

Anny

Google
Great selection and fairly priced! Love picking up my sunscreen here and other skincare products. The cashier is always friendly and helpful.

Yelp
This place is fantastic and has everything you absolutely need!?! Well organized, beautifully executed, products worth the wait. Somewhat expensive but worth it every time.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Sunday after lunch and it was pretty empty. I was excited to come bc of all the products I saw in pictures online but when I arrived there wasn't nearly as much on shelves. What they did have, however, were some of the popular brands. COSRX, Innisfree, Etude House, Pyungkang Yul, a couple Laneige items (not a lot), MIZON, SOME BY MI, Beauty of Joseon, Tony Moly, are the ones I remember off the top of my head. There were some sheet masks but again, not a lot. It also seemed like they carried more skincare products than actual makeup/cosmetics. In all fairness, central TX did get hit with a winter storm last week and everything was covered in ice. So perhaps their shipments got delayed? Giving 4 stars in spite of low inventory bc they did have testers so I was able to test some products (mostly the serums and ampoules) on my arm. Huge bonus! I'd like to come back again when they're fully stocked.

Yelp
They are located next to Nelda's Tailors. We arrived at 2 p.m., and the store wasn't ready. There were three associates running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They were too busy stocking to help my girlfriend, while there were only four customers total. My girlfriend and I arrived before two other customers. They were helped by the girl with the short brown hair, while my girlfriend was never approached. I had to keep pressuring Melody to help me, and she appeared unsure when I asked her questions. I did appreciate her suggestion of incorporating a foam cleanser following an oil cleanser, and her preference of color correctors over concealers. She was unable to ascertain if my skin was dry, normal, oily, or combination upon examination. They will not touch your face or apply for you. This is definitely not customer service you would receive at a Korean cosmetics boutique in L.A. At checkout, my girlfriend informed Melody that no one helped her the entire time. Melody didn't apologize and made excuses for the other two girls saying, "Oh, it's their first day. They didn't know. I'll let them know." You mean to say the sales associates didn't know they were supposed to be selling? My girlfriend said she could buy the exact Dr. Jart BB cream at Sephora, excluding the Hallyu sale, for the same price, plus better service. They gave us a few samples at checkout. They didn't carry the CosRx Low pH Gel Cleanser. Nordstrom also carries Korean cosmetics. Nordstrom carries Amore Pacific, IPKN, Too Cool for School, 107 ONE0SEVEN, and Huxley. At least Nordstrom sales associates will apply on your face. Target carries Make P:rem and Whamisa. Yepoon Beauty Marche, located inside H - Mart, carries Holika Holika, Hera, Sulwhasoo, Elizavecca, Absolute New York, Skin Food, Romand, Vely Vely, Syul draw, Missha, Celavi, Japanese, and Taiwanese skincare. There's a Face Shop located inside H - Mart which carries History of Whoo, Su:m 37, and O Hui. CVS on South Lamar carries Ariul, Elisha Coy, Holika Holika, Frudia, JJ Young, and the Saem. Asahi Imports carries Japanese cleansers and toners. Han Yang Market, located across Lamar Blvd., carries Nature Republic.

Yelp
I was excited to learn of the soft opening. I love skin care & I know Korean beauty products are the "it" thing now. My friend & I went Monday late afternoon. We had a lovely salesperson who endlessly answered our million questions with product expertise & a pleasant attitude. She wanted to understand our skin concerns & recommended various products. Many she had tried but there were also some she had not. I appreciated her authenticity. So far, I'm enjoying my purchases of both skincare & makeup. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Recently got into Kbeauty and this place is amazing! They even have products such as Cosrx and Huxley! My friend and I felt very welcome, especially with the kpop music playing. The space is very open and neat. They have a variety of face masks as well. This is the only kbeauty store that I know of In Austin, which is great because I don't have to go to Dallas, Houston or even LA! June and Melody were very knowledgeable and were super nice!! They both were able to answer our questions about products as well as give recommendations based on our skin types. Best shopping experience ever

Yelp
Really great service! The staff here was very knowledgeable about the products. They have a great selection of Korean skincare and a variety of brands. Sheet mask selection is pretty decent too. I'm so happy I was able to find this store, because K-beauty seems to be more limited in Austin than Houston! They had some $1 sheet masks on sale when I went! They also have a rewards program! If you buy a certain amount, they will also sometimes give you "gifts" or samples! I will definitely be back in a couple of months! Brands I bought/saw were Pyunkang Yul, Dr. Jart, Skinfood, Innisfree, Huxley, Etude House, COSRX, Neogen, and more!

Yelp
I love that Austin has a kbeauty store! The store is small and no-frills, but they carry some great products and face masks and the prices are comparable to major retailers. Staff seemed friendly, love the kpop playing, and happy to support a small business!

Yelp
I wasn't offered any help at this store, and I'm not hip enough to know all the brands. I would have bought much more if I felt like the woman at the store could have been friendlier. It's a small store, they have some great lines, if you've already done your research, and it's close to my fave--101 Teahaus.

Yelp
Only place of its kind in Austin! Forget going to the big box cosmetic stores. This place has great customer service and on point prices for all your asian skincare product needs, wish it was closer to me.

Rose B.

Yelp
This was the best place to find a great variety of face mask and skincare but also makeup, I bought makeup from there and I love the variety of things they have on there, I really don't know if the prices are ok but the can be quite expensive

Yelp
This store full of Korean beauty products. They mostly have Korean skin care products and some Korean make up items. I decided to go into the shop because I needed to stock up on some of my K-beauty stuff. They have a good assortment of the most popular brands. The two girls were really friendly and asked about the type of products I was looking for. One of the girls helped me find the products I came in for and suggested a couple of other products that I might like. The other girl rang up my items and even gave me a couple of samples of new products. TL;DR This shop is awesome! Friendly and helpful staff with a good selection of K-beauty products!

Yelp
Came in here with my gf, Anita. The store was empty of customers but there were 3 shop girls milling about, rearranging scented lotions and lip wands. While Anita browsed, a sales girl approached her and asked if she was looking for anything specific. She immediately launched into some rant regarding a Dr Dart cream... Meanwhile, I was over in the lone men's corner trying to decide if I needed the Hard, Harder or Soft styling wax for my hair... I looked about with pleading eyes hoping to make contact with one of the other shop girls. However, they all kept their eyes averted as they were busy putting tester labels on new bottles of Pikachu scented hand cream... Finally, I exasperatedly walked over to one dark haired girl and said I need help deciding on going either Hard, Harder or Soft. The girl said she wasn't sure because she doesn't like hard or soft herself, she likes when guys go semi-hard mostly... (She called it midi-hard) Then I get into saying I've been here 10 minutes, why hasn't anyone assisted me or even welcomed me to the store? She then said her sales girls are new and they don't know that they're supposed to interact or help as part of their job. I said, hmm that should be the first thing they are taught when they are hired or are in job training... This is a makeup store not 7-11. Anita huffily left the store, pushing past me, saying that she can get the same Dr Dart cream at Sephora for the same price but with better service. I couldn't help but agree with her so I followed her out the door, sans Hard cream. Sorry, Hallyu, you missed the mark this time. Try to improve the customer experience. Just because a customer may be a guy, or white, or even a white guy doesn't mean they don't want to be serviced. They probably do if they're in the store. A simple "hello" is enough to get things started in most cases.

Yelp
This place is great, they have awesome advise when it comes to skincare. Then have my favorite face masks and all the ladies are nice.

Yelp
This place is great! I had an amazing experience, the salesperson could easily recommend lots of products for me to try. You may be able to find cheaper online, but those are usually fakes or expired. So happy to have found a store like this one in my neighborhood! They have a huge variety of face masks, it'll take me a while to try them all!

Yelp
Great variety of products. The shop itself is organized and clean. The staff was friendly and made some good recommendations. If you are looking for high end korean skincare or japanese skincare I would try H mart or nieman and marcus. They do have a affordable and great selection of snail serums, sheet masques and mineral oil based oil cleansers as well as cosmetics and skincare.

Yelp
The two gals that helped me were amazing, especially with hair care products. They had a lot of great insight and were so fun and professional. They also recommended for me many other items in the store based on their vast cosmetics knowledge. I will definitely be back many times!

Floritzel L.

Yelp
I'm so happy I found this place! I usually buy my korean skincare products online but this place has a great selection. The girl that was working there was so friendly and we ended up having a really nice conversation.

Yelp
The only place I go to for my K-Beauty fix. I've been shopping here for 2 years now, not only do they have a great selection from some of my favorite brands, the store itself has great aesthetic and the staff are really friendly and helpful. In addition to that, one of the first things I noticed when I first stepped foot in this store is that they didn't follow me around and try to push products on me. I noticed a review or two on here where some people seemed upset that they weren't "catered to"... all you have to do is ask! It's strange to me that people expect staff in retail stores to read their minds if they aren't familiar with something... it's sort of a thing here in the west I've noticed... just ask, haha. The times I've been in, the girl behind the counter simply greeted me and let me know of any sales or promos, and waited politely if I had any questions - to which they are eager to help if you do, and quite knowledgeable! I HATE going into a store where sales associates have to keep bugging you in forced, "friendly" voices and try to sell you what you don't need so they can reach a quota. I'm the kind of person that likes to be left alone until I have questions. These girls are so pleasant! Great prices and selection here, and they always have great sale selection too. Also, you can use your rewards account online with their website!

Yelp
This store is AMAZING. It's so hard to find Kbeauty in Austin, normally you would have to travel far to get such great products, buy online and be stuck paying shipping or pay an excessive amount of money for such great finds. This store is convenient, neat, has a great variety and AMAZING employees (Melody and June are THE BEST!) they made my friend and I feel welcome quickly and we shared a few laughs, they definitely made the experience awesome. I had such a great time looking at products and talking to Melody and June that I have already been twice and spent more money than originally planned. You should definitely stop by and check out this stores amazing items, prices and cool employees! Also If you were there for the soft opening and didn't have a similar experience you can blame yourself for expecting so much from a place that is obviously going to be a little crazy because ITS A SOFT OPENING I'm just saying.

Yelp
My friend and I went into their store two days ago, and we bought the COSRX Good morning cleanser. She was really excited to try it out after seeing all the positive reviews, but after opening the bottle and trying it once, a strong, chemically smell became apparent. I think she got a bad bottle of the product, so we went today to return it. Sadly, management wouldn't let us have a refund, but only let us have half of our purchased price back. We smelled the product in-store, and it smelled fine, so it was likely that we got a defunctional product (on the website and on the sign at the store, it says that defunctional products get a full refund). However, they wouldn't give us a refund for the full price. I'm extremely disappointed because I've been a long-time customer of Hallyu ever since it opened at the Bellaire/Houston location. I hope the potential allergic reaction my friend could have received was worth keeping the $5.95.

Yelp
Super cute K Beauty shop! They have a lot of products you can test before you buy. Everyone was super helpful and I'm excited I don't have to drive to Houston or pay for shipping anymore!
