"Low-calorie ice cream option Halo Top Creamery certainly seems serious about expanding into the brick-and-mortar realm, with official word coming down about a second Los Angeles-area opening at the Westfield Century City mall later this month." - Farley Elliott

Great service and my favorite guilt-free ice cream of all time! Easy to find location in the mall. It isn’t cheap, but the quality of the ice cream is worth it. The seasonal pumpkin flavored ice cream was GREAT!

It was my first time trying halo top ice cream and I ended up liking their peach soft serve. The soft serve was good but I wish it had a stronger peach flavor.

I had never heard of Halo Top before I stopped by on Saturday morning for a quick scoop. The girl with the glasses really helped me narrow my options because I am vegan and kosher and didn’t know what to buy. She made my experience so simple and easy and I really recommend this awesome ice cream joint!

This place is so great! I'm a vegan with Celiac disease, and these very friendly and professional guys knew exactly what to do. They got fresh batches of dairy-free chocolate and toasted coconut from the back and let me sample both (I ended up going for the toasted coconut). The scoop was way bigger than I expected, and it was absolutely delicious! My friend got the red velvet with brownies and said it was heavenly. I wish I could go here every day!

I've heard good and bad things about halo top. Some good things like they're low calorie and bad things like it's not technically ice cream since they dont use full cream milk. My opinion would be that I do notice that the ice cream is not as creamy as Salt & Straw or Jeni's but it's good in it's own right. It's good if you wanted something sweet but didnt want all the calories that go along with it. I've only ever seen Halo Top at places like Whole Foods, so a brick and mortar store intrigued me. I ordered a caramel macchiato ice cream with the puffle cone which took a bit of time to make but totally worth it. Only issue is that the puffle was still really warm and the ice cream melted a lot faster and was a soggy mess by the end of it. The ice cream itself was pretty good, and I might have to try a pint next time I'm at Whole Foods

One of only 2 locations in the world. If you like halo top you have to check it out. They also have soft serve.

I love Halo Top. We were out of town from DC. When I saw that they had a shop opened in LA, I was excited. Customer service was excellent. Staff allowed us to try flavors we've never tried before. I love the caramel macchiato. They also give you options to add toppings. I hope they open more shops. Maybe in DC? :)

I'm not entirely convinced they're doing enough to make the experience more remarkable than getting a pint at the grocery store. It's such a marvelous opportunity for newbs to get to know halo top, but the experience is more like going to a normal ice cream shop. This can't be a cheap exercise - perhaps street carts with personal sized halo top cups (with little wooden spoons in the caps) would be better marketing. They don't after all ACTUALLY want to be another frozen yogurt and ice cream shop. The goal here is to get people hooked on healthier ice cream. This doesn't do it.
