"Most people who live on or visit St. Simons regularly consider Halyards Restaurant beach fancy. There’s no need for a coat and tie, but do prepare for more upscale dishes during dinner such as seared ahi tuna, filet mignon, and blue crab bisque paired with a glass of champagne or a big, bold cabernet." - Eater Staff

Our entire evening at Halyard’s was phenomenal! We were welcomed with true southern hospitality, amazing customer service, absolutely delicious food. We started out with Brussels sprouts and wedge salad which were fabulous. The main course of lamb chops w/ seared tomatoes and scallions and shrimp & grits. Both were out of this world! We wrapped up the experience with banana pudding and cappuccino. Thank you to the entire Halyard’s team for delivering with excellence once again. Halyard’s is a must every time we visit St. Simons.

We celebrated two birthdays at Halyards, and it was perfect. Friendly greeting as soon as we walked in the door. Seated promptly. It was a busy Saturday night, but the staff didn't miss a beat. Blue Crab Bisque is a must, Delicious!! We had the salmon, shrimp and grits and NY Strip (cut of the day). Everything was cooked perfectly and good sized portions. We even had room to share a kiddie sundae 🍨 which was huge for being a 'kiddie' sundae. Thomas was our server, we didn't want for anything. He took great care of us. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back.

Halyards is a great place to eat whenever you're in St. Simon's Island. The atmosphere is very romantic, and the menu covers all the bases. You will not be disappointed.

Google
Extremely wonderful experience! Service was fabulous. Food was even better. Tied for my favorite meal while visiting St. Simons. We brought our freshly caught flounder and they cooked to perfection! Appetizers, soup, entree, dessert and wine were fabulous! Highly recommend!

Google
Beautiful presentation, unfortunately the entire party complained that the food was warm not hot. We decided to eat it warm because we had five in our party and we did not want to wait any longer. The food was tasty. The Brussels Sprouts and the calamari, definitely a hit. Our server Gina was amazing. So, shout out to Gina. Next time we are in the area we will return to this restaurant. We will definitely mention to make sure our food is hot

Google
Everything about our visit was fantastic. We sat at the bar and Chris took great care of us. The ambience was totally our vibe. It was our first visit, but won’t be our last!

Google
Great ambiance, friendly service, but the food missed the mark just slightly. The shrimp & grits were very tasty but was served lukewarm. The burger was extremely salty. The potstickers had great flavor and sear but were undercooked in the center. It was very busy, so it’s likely these were just oversights on a busy evening. I’ll return to try other items on the menu.

I’ve been a loyal fan of Halyard’s for years and have always had great meals and service — until our most recent visit. Sadly, it felt like something had changed, whether in the kitchen or ownership. The strawberry salad was very good, but the rest of the meal missed the mark. My Mahi Mahi (catch of the day) was overcooked and served cold. My wife ordered a ribeye medium rare, but it was overdone and tasted more like a sirloin. We also ordered the Blood Orange Margaritas, which didn’t taste anything like they usually do. I even declined a second round when asked, but one was brought out anyway. Service was off all night — our entrées were served to the wrong people, which only added to the frustration. I called a friend who’s also a longtime fan, and even he couldn’t believe the drop in quality. I truly hope this was just an off night, but if this continues, we’ll sadly have to stop coming back.

Yelp
Terrific dinner! Tuna tartare was on point, with a little kick. Crab bisque was phenomenal. Creamy, chunky, flavorful. Fried chicken was excellent too. Crispy and juicy. I don't know if you'll find a better dinner spot in SSI.

Yelp
I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so I was eager to try it. First the inside is quite nice and while upscale doesn't overdo it. Tables are close and hearing other people's conversations was a bit annoying. Service was excellent. I ordered the crab soup and it was delicious- you could also tell that there was crab in it ( at some places you wonder). My husband had the wedge salad and according to him it was delicious and he loved the deviled egg on top. It was also very filling which is why I went with the soup. I ordered the flounder on a bed of couscous and veggies with a Peruvian pepper sauce. Fish was perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed it however I did wish there was more of the sauce as it needed it. The yellow fin tuna my husband ordered was perfectly seared and served with diced avocado and yucca fries?- not exactly positive if they were fries or not-but he said they were good. Tuna - he let me have a bite- was cooked perfectly and I loved the diced avocado and the sauce. My husband wanted a bit more sauce and while he thoroughly enjoyed it- he thought it was overpriced compared to other places. It is not my favorite place in Saint Simon's but it is very good and I know I will be returning.

Yelp
Halyards is conveniently located across the street from the St. Simmons cinema making it a perfect location for a date night. The dining area offers an upscale atmosphere with a spacious dining room and separate bar area. Because of its size, the restaurant can get a bit noisy. The menu changes frequently and offers an array of seafood and meat options although no main dish options for vegetarian guests. Online menu may not be representative of actual offerings at the time of your visit. Our biggest disappointment with Halyards was the level of service and inaccuracy of dish description. With respect to the wait staff, despite their assertion of being well-versed in the menu, we found our waiter to lack familiarity with dish ingredients, which can be problematic for individuals, such as I, with food allergies. Additionally, the descriptions noted on the menu were not representative of what was actually served to us. With that being said, our dishes were both prepared to our liking. For this visit, we opted for the flounder, blakes mushrooms, and the arugula salad. The chèvre was missing from the arugula salad and the mushrooms were served without the egg and bacon as noted on the menu. The flounder was perfectly cooked and the lemon sauce was perfectly balanced to brighten the dish. With that being said, we enjoyed our meal and would return. Be sure to make reservations as the dining room fills up most weekends

Yelp
Halyards made for a wonderful date night dinner during our April visit for a local wedding. The ambience and atmosphere is a bit upscale, and the service certainly reflects so. We found our server Gina to be extremely respectful, helpful, and courteous. We indulged quite a bit, enjoying espresso martinis, margaritas, and whiskey sours. The espresso martinis were delicious and strong, while the other beverages offered a nice twist so we didn't over caffeinate. The other beverages didn't stand out quite as much as the espresso martinis, but were still really good. The roasted oysters were delightful, and weren't too big in size in the batch/season we received. There was loads of flavor with the garlic and butter. We also ordered the crab bisque without hesitation which was creamy and full of flavor. We split the teriyaki glazed salmon belly which was a special. Don't miss out on this if it is offered! The salmon just absolutely melts away in your mouth with a nice touch of teriyaki. Finally, how we could not get creme brulee to wrap things up. It's my wife's favorite and did not let us down! If you're looking for a date night in the local St. Simons area, Halyards is your spot.

Yelp
"Simply the Best" Went for dinner with my wife on October 16th, 2023. Our dinner reservation was at 6:15PM we walked in at 6:00 PM and were immediately led to our table. Our waitress Kristen L (big shout out) walked up to our table and took our adult beverage order. She had the bar make up two drinks that were not on their menu. Both of our drinks were perfect. Our appetizers consisted of: Bread service and pork potstickers. Both were delicious. Our main entrées: where Seared Atlantic Flounder & Seared Blacken Grouper. Both were cooked to perfection!!! Our desserts were one Affogato and Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding. A great way to end our meal. Halyards is now on at the top of our list!!!

Amanda L.

Yelp
Dined here for Valentine's Day and had a wonderful night. Our server was super sweet and all the food was delicious! The carbonara mushroom side was phenomenal! I normally am not a big mushroom fan but these were great, I highly recommend.

Davis S.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant and classic bar experience on the whole island. We got to meet Chief Dave and what a wonderful and inspiring man! My entire family loved the dining experience. The staff is so professional and polished which made our experience even better. We loved everything on the menu.

Angel H.

Yelp
#goodfood #goodfun #spoilyourself #appetizers yummy @halyards is always consistently good food ambiance service you make it it's #happy Surprisingly could get in at the bar earlier on a busy holiday weekend Enjoy time with friends and ideal just a little early that we were able to treat ourselves to fun last minute #thanks #davesnyder for all your effort in the #goldenisles on #stsimonsisland

Yelp
We ate at the bar because we did not have a reservation and seats were available, but this did not change the experience. The bartender was really nice, helpful with the menu and made a great cocktail. I ordered a salad with grilled shrimp added and unfortunately he brought the wrong salad. it took a bit to get his attention but once we did he offered to bring the right salad. the next salad came and still not what I ordered. it was good but not what I ordered. I will go back but I'll make sure they are clear on my order.

Yelp
Was visiting Jekyll Island with another couple and we wanted to have dinner at a nice restaurant and Halyards restaurant met and exceeding all our expectations. 1- We made a reservation on-line via Opendoor and fortunately got a table for 4 at 6PM on the day of the reservation. Be sure to book a reservation in advance. We were seated immediately upon arrival even though we arrived 10 minutes early. 2- The service was outstanding, our server was very attentive, explained the specials, and answered all our questions about different options. They kept our water glasses full and checked in regularly with us to make sure we had everything we needed. 3- We bought a nice bottle of red wine from the wine list and found it very smooth, and paired well with the meals we ordered. 4- We ordered the Pork Potstickers as an appetizer and they were perfectly cooked and the chili soy sauce and spicy mustard enhanced the flavor. The wedge salad was ordered and shared by two and they both stated how fresh and tasty it was. 5- Two of the group ordered the grilled salmon, and two ordered the flounder which I believe was the catch of the day. Everyone commented on how delicious the main entre was. 6- To complete the meal we shared the flourless chocolate mouse which was the perfect sweet to end a perfect and completely satisfying meal. We had asked someone we met earlier in the day who lives in Saint Simons, GA for a dinner recommendation, and we were so glad we received this recommendation. Everyone in our group of four had nothing but good things to say about the meal and our entire dining experience. 7- The ambiance of this restaurant was upscale and all the guests were dressed accordingly for the occasion. I highly recommend Halyards restaurant for anyone looking for an especially nice meal, for any special occasion, or simply to enjoy a great meal with friends.

Yelp
We had a five star, excellent dinner here. Reservations are a must. We started with a shared appetizer of roasted oysters. A half dozen with an anchovy garlic butter with bread crumbs. I got their shrimp and grits. This was the best version I've ever had. There were a lot of sizable local shrimp along with andouille sausage on top of perfectly cooked grits. The very creamy sauce over it all was delicious. Mmmm mmm good. My husband had the southern fried chicken. The portion was large enough for three people! The chicken was cooked through and was lightly seasoned and coated in a light batter. It was served over pimento cheese grits, fried green tomatoes and spinach. He absolutely loved it. Service was commensurate with the upscale locale. The food sublime. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
A great find on sea Island. We were taking my mother out to celebrate our family get together. The Halyards was recommended by the boat captain of our earlier fishing trip. Great service with wonderful recommendations. I had the Cioppino. One of my favorite dishes and they do a great job of it here. My GF had the filet, which was cooked perfectly and was an excellent cut, very tender. Of the six of us that ate, all were very happy with the service and meals. Great wine selection, Great food & even better service.

Jody R.

Yelp
First class all the way. I enjoyed the calamari app and catfish dinner. The green tomato tartar sauce was amazing. Apple crisp for dessert. Lovely service, lovely atmosphere.

Vicki A.

Yelp
Everything was lovely. Still thinking about my entree! We are sure to go back when in SSI.

Anat S.

Yelp
Great serve, delicious food. We highly recommend this restaurant with friendly stuff and overall good food. They have good selection of wines and cocktails to choose from. We had the crab bisque 5/5, fried green tomatoes 5/5, the stir fry veggies, noodles and shrimp 5/5, roasted oysters 4/5, the daily special fish 3/5 ( the only thing I would change is, I did tell the server that we didn't like the fish because it was lacking flavor, and he left it on our table and billed us for the dish), we had cream cheese cake for dessert.

Tom T.

Yelp
Recommended. This restaurant stands among a trio of eateries -- Tramici -- La Plancha -- Halyards, all the creation of the same owner on St. Simons Island. The price point for brunch was in line with other breakfast/brunch eateries in the area. We stopped as a group of three for Sunday brunch. All among us enjoyed each dish as cited below. McIntosh Shrimp and Grits: A tasty combination covered with a chili cheddar sauce, peppers, with two fried eggs, prepared to your liking, on top: $16 French toast with fruit on the side: $9 The three egg veggie omelette: $13 The smoke salmon scramble: $16 Consider this place for dinner. It's sister eateries are also top shelf places to eat along the Georgia coast. If you follow our reviews here and on TripAdvisor you'll note we think the prices for what you get at restaurants along the Georgia Coast are too high. Many owners have diluded themselves they're offering New York quality with New York prices. Most don't. Usually it's just the New York price. But we make an exception with these restaurants. The quality is there.

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Excellent food, stellar service. Wonderful setting for a special night out. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
This was a flawless dining masterpiece. The elegant atmosphere set the mood for a very nice evening meal. We ordered the Tuna Tartar appetizer along with the Special Cevice as appetizers. Both were remarkable, and the use of fresh plantain chips with the ceviche added some new flavoring. Our dinners were Shrimp & Grits and Grilled Flounder over almond wild rice. This was my 3rd South Georgia Shrimp & Grits entree that I've eaten in the past week and a half, and I like this one the best. A lighter cream sauce made it more enjoyable to taste all the other flavors. My wife's grilled flounder helped show her how much better good, grilled fish can be versus fried. And she added a nice side order of grilled asparagus. We finished with pecan pie a la mode and Chocolate mousse. They were perfect. Al did a great job as our server, and we will be back.

Dorene T.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and wonderful service! Great experience! It will become a regular treat for us:)

Yelp
I searched restaurants in SSI over Labor Day. This restaurant was highly rated and one that I hadn't heard of before. I made a reservation for 4. The food was delicious, the wine selection was phenomenal, and the service was superb. It is now my favorite restaurant on the island. If you haven't been to Halyard's yet, you're missing out!

Steffani F.

Yelp
As a visitor, we had a mildly acceptable dining experience at Haylards Restaurant. I have a hard time writing reviews for restaurants such as Haylards. In a nutshell- the food was amazing and the staff was attentive , but there is no vibe here. Like, none. Like, zero. Atmosphere is important. St. Simon's is a day trip from my house so I'm here often but I will not eat at Haylards next time I'm in town.

Scott R.

Yelp
Great service. Great atmosphere. The bone in pork chop that was a special and not a regular menu item should absolutely become a menu item. It, along with the sides was superb.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Al was a great waiter Our table ordered Appetizers: Shrimp Tacos, Tuna Poke and Fried Calamari Literally the best Tuna Poke on the Island!!! Calamari was tender and cooked to perfection, Shrimp Taco was so tasty! Entrees: Fried Chicken, Hamburger, Korean Salmon and Noodle StirFry Everyone agreed that this meal was one of the best! The manager stopped by the table and he was so kind and friendly ..... we most definitely will be back!

Brian N Catie M.

Yelp
The service was excellent, the new basil grapefruit vodka was very fresh and quite tasty. The oysters were succulent and the grouper was fork tender and flavorful. The pork medallions cut as if they were a filet mignon.

Robert H.

Yelp
Visiting a friend in town and made a reservation for this place for breakfast on open table. We didn't need a reservation when we got there, but always good to make one just in case. This place was fantastic! Great service with a friendly waiter. Food was amazing! I got the chicken biscuit that had pimento cheese and bacon on it along with the home fries as my side. Very generous portions and I was unable to finish my food. I would happily come eat here again the next time I'm in the area. #bhamfoodguy

Yelp
Food and service are great. Recommend reservations. Blue Crab BisqueRamen Noodle Stirfry

Yelp
An amazing evening at Halyards. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. This was our first time visiting and we will most definitely come back. The suggestions from Charles were great, and our entrees were incredible. We finished with one of the best desserts... chocolate chip bread pudding with bourbon fudge. Wow. One of the best meals and experiences we've had in St. Simmons. Thank you to the team for a wonderful job!

Shannon D.

Yelp
My husband and I went for our anniversary. Our waiter was great! I got the fillet and added a side of the pimento grits. Everything was delicious! My husband got the grouper and really enjoyed it. We got the crab cake and bread appetizer. We ended with the cheesecake parfait and crème brûlée, both were yummy.

Carol P.

Yelp
Great spot for a nicer dinner or lunch. Always a fresh catch which is well prepared and sumptuous. A wide variety of good food, not all fish. Great service and wine list. Worth making a reservation.

Mahalie D.

Yelp
Great food! Environment is quiet and intimate. Service was fast and accommodating to any needs. 5/5!

Tammy J.

Yelp
Very nice fine dining restaurant. Nice farm to table options with great service. Will Definitely return.

Katie N.

Yelp
I would consider this restaurant more of a fancy dining experience in St. Simons Island. Our table tried about one of each dish on the menu and were pleasantly pleased with everything!! We started with appetizers of bread and calamari. Bread is always nice to start with but I don't know I would recommend the calamari. It was more fried and not as much meat as I would have hoped for. Other than that, the entrees were amazing. The ramen noodle dish was surprisingly delicious and very flavorful! Steak was perfectly cooked and tender. The salmon was very good and comes with a delicious lime sauce. I wouldn't recommend the risotto unless you are a really big fan of mushrooms. The pork chop was also good, very big portion! The shrimp and grits may have been my favorite entree! Perfectly cooked and delicious side of grits. As for dessert, you really can't go wrong. The pecan pie is good, chocolate mousse was to die for and the vanilla creme brûlée was also perfect!! The wait for the food to come out did seem abnormally long, but understandable during COVID times.

Oscar L.

Yelp
I've had the pleasure to dine here a few times, and each time was a delight from the server thru the meal. A solid 5 star for SSI, not to mention that is sailors enjoy the name and it's relevance.

Maridmd D.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting St Simons and we picked Halyards based off the good reviews online. We ordered a crab bisque and pasta with shrimp from the kids menu for our daughter. The bisque was fantastic, and she devoured her pasta. Cocktails were great. For apps we had tuna tartare and roasted oysters, both great. My husband ordered the salmon with Mexican style corn and I had the fresh catch (grouper). Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Our server Aaron was very attentive and provided great recommendations including a fabulous Sauvignon Blanc. Our daughter loved the Sunday as well. We sat outside and were pleased to see all servers wearing masks even outside. Amazing experience from beginning to end!

Katy C.

Yelp
Another must Island go to - we love grabbing a bar seat to enjoy one another and meet new friends. The menu changes based on the season & fresh ingredients which we appreciate it. Plus, they have blue cheese stuffed olives so you know they make a good Martini. We suggest making a reservation but the bar is first come first serve!

Elsa L.

Yelp
Last evening, we celebrated my cousin's birthday at a restaurant on St. Simons Island that had been at the top of various lists. Reservations were made ahead! Well, Halyards didn't disappoint. It was fabulous! Everything we ordered was top notch. We couldn't decide so we ordered a million items and all were great...the blue crab soup, the mussels, the fried oysters over chicken pate crostini, the mushroom risotto, brussel sprouts, filet mignon and the trigger fish. We closed the evening with a tart creme brûlée that was on point. Kudos to Chef Francisco Jimenez and our server.

Jeanie W.

Yelp
Thank you Carol for all of your excellent recommendations and wonderful service! I completely recommend dining here and can't wait to come back for a visit!

Linda H.

Yelp
I'm always impressed when a bartender remembers what I drink and how I like it. Never had a bad meal. Nice restaurant and many love to eat at the bar , either way it's great. Dave and his team always keep the menu fresh and seasonal. It's not a huge menu but something for everyone and they do everything perfect.

Lauren W.

Yelp
Came into town for the Southern C and the store manager, Lauren at Tibi Outlet, told us to check out this place for delicious specials, Brussels sprouts and a popping bar. I'm so glad we trusted her and went! From the lovely hostess, to the bartender/server, to the manager stopping by....and did I mention the amazing menu. My friend enjoyed the filet, while I had the fried chicken like the true Southern girl that I am! It was some of the best fried chicken I've had in my life. It will be a true treat and enough for two people to share. We had the escargot and a salad to start! We enjoyed a side of the Brussels which were plenty to share. THE SERVING SIZES ARE HUGE so bring a friend to share! Great pricing for what you get. The dessert was delicious as well! Thanks so much to everyone for the amazing service, amazing food and I will definitely be back! Signed with Love and Calories, @TheOriginalCharlestonian @CSLEW_IS

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant on St. Simon's Island (or perhaps anywhere we travel!)! Amazing menu, chef-tailored (and easily adjusted, as necessary or desired) menus. White-glove style personable service in a relaxed yet upscale space and environment. My husband and I MUST eat gluten-free, and there's never a shortage of standard menu items that are delicious! There's even my ONLY opportunity to ever have naturally prepared gluten-free blue-crab soup with sherry! The chef and/or the manager ALWAYS visit our table on each visit. We NEVER miss going at least twice per week on our week-long trips to the Island. Of course, we'd go every night if possible (but reservations are essential to just get a table!). Do go -- but not during our vacation week at the end of June; we cannot have you crowding out our multiple reservation options! /grin/!

Rick V.

Yelp
It's very good; don't get me wrong. I'm just not "overjoyed" with it. First of all I don't love the atmosphere. It's a little noisy/busy and the lights are too bright. It's not relaxing is what I mean. The food portions are definitely on the smaller side and the prices are on the higher side. So, I can't really say there was anything "bad" about the place; it's just not my bag if that makes sense. The food and service were both excellent but despite this, I don't think I will be back. I will try other places first.

Lee D.

Yelp
My wife and I were very excited about eating here, when we arrived the place was very busy and with reservations made in advance which I recommend for all restaurants on the island. We were seated very quickly. The table was not what I would have like but it was acceptable. There was a large party of 14 right behind where we were seated so let's just say the noise level was irritating and loud. Every time there server took an order he yelled to get everyone's attention. This included every table within a few feet of the party. We sat for some time before our waiter came and we ordered wine from a very existence list. Sad part was the wine we ordered from the list was unavailable. We ordered a different bottle and ordered appetisers as well as our meals. If I were to return I would recommend sticking to appetisers and not ordering from the main menu. I ordered chicken and I would say it was over cooked, dry and smothered in a spiced hot sauce which made it almost unbearable . My wife ordered a fish dish with risotto and the fish was cooked fine but the risotto was dry and tasted funny to her so it was left uneaten. I believe the kitchen was overwhelmed by the extremely large party so our meals were rushed or ignored to an extent that our satisfaction of this restaurant isn't very good . Our server seemed to be over whelmed by the number of tables he was responsible for. As previous restaurant owners we know what to expect from a restaurant that deals in a higher clientele market place such as St Simons and to be at a higher price point than so many other restaurants our expectations were not met. We might try again on another night. To recommend this restaurant I would probably advise not to come on a weekend night if so stick to the appetisers and you will be fine. Lee &Lesley

Yelp
Upscale atmosphere and food without a lit of attitude. The calamari include fried green onions which were amazing. Lovely fresh salads with homemade dressings. Will be back.

Susan S.

Yelp
Food was ok. Nice atmosphere. Had to ask for bread and said we don't offer it. You have to order and pay. Oh well not that big of a deal. Would go back.

Brooke E.

Yelp
We went for breakfast and our waiter was JJ. (Excellent service). We ordered the veggie omelette and added crab meat and the "Benedict style" The food was phenomenal!! We sat outside on the patio which was beautiful!! Everything on the menu is locally sourced which is another added bonus! This restaurant is a MUST TRY!!!

david l.

Yelp
I came here for the first about 10 years ago on vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service! I just went again for the first time since then this past weekend and the food and service was as good or better than I can remember. In fact, we went for dinner there 2 out of the 3 nights I was in St Simons. Over the course of 2 evenings we had the bread service, grouper with Risotto, seared scallops, wedge salad, and the pork chop. All excellent choices! Not sure which was my favorite but I would I highly recommend all of them! I have tried quite a few restaurants in St Simons and I will have to say it's my favorite restaurant but lots of good choices in town. Highly recommended!

Trey C.

Yelp
I had a great experience here. The food was amazing! But the best part was the staff. The waiters were the best I've had in awhile and everyone was super friendly!

Leigh Anne E.

Yelp
The best place on the island to dine if you aren't looking for a fried shrimp basket! This is a casual, upscale, chef driven and Great menu type of restaurant that has fantastic wait staff and a great bar.

Lavinna K.

Yelp
This place was the best. So friendly and welcoming. Treated us so well for our anniversary. We got the Halibut, which was soft like butter, and the crunchy grouper taco. Both were chef specials. Sean was our server. He was awesome. Total bill was around $70 but that included 2 drinks. Would definitely return!

Preeti H.

Yelp
We sat outside as the restaurant did a fantastic job of spacing tables and customers. Hands down the best service a restaurant has to offer. Jamie, our waitress, recommended we speak to the sommelier regarding our wine preferences which was a great call. Thomas is not only the sommelier but also the GM. He spent 15 minutes explaining the nuances and subtlety's of the wines we chose, red and white. He was personable, knowledgeable and courteous. After we tasted our wines Jamie ensured we were comfortable by checking on us appropriately. We both ordered the pecan crusted flounder which had fried oysters included with the fish. It was amazing. We then decided to be gluttonous and ordered a blackberry cobbler which was a great size (not to big) with a great crust and of course one can't go wrong with a la mode. We were full but not stuffed! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The staff are wonderful and the food is beyond delish!
