Strike two. My wife insisted we go back here because this is so popular with everyone, my past experience was completely wrong ...
I will begin with the only positive: the green picnic tables spread across the street to sit on. We did not have to wait long for one.
After ordering at the door we waited a long time for our food like the last time. It was not like orders were streaming out the door. Well, my coffee and our waters came out five minutes later. My coffee was hot but watery. Just meh.
Since I previously rated their egg sandwich the worst in the nation, a title they still hold, I went with the Eggs Benedict. They earned another crown: Worst Eggs Benedict in the US: both eggs were hard boiled, the meat thin, hard and tasteless, the bun rubbery ... and the entire thing cold.
The hashbrowns were browned on top and just standard, not good or bad, but actually, the hollandaise sauce from the sandwich made the hashbrowns much better.
No, I am not being mean. My daughters and wife were also served cold dishes: eggs, bacon, pastries, all of it cold and inedible. My daughter actually threw hers away half eaten, stating, "I hate bees and cold food." Yeah, there were also bees ... not the fault of the restaurant.
So, another one star because that is the lowest I can give. Absolutely nothing positive to comment on two years later. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. We will not be back.
