Hamburger Mary's Dallas

I have been wanting to go to a Hamburger Mary’s forever! I had friends coming in town and it seemed like the perfect place for dinner to start our night out on the strip…….well the drag queens WORKED! They were amazing! The best part. The food could’ve been better but not the worst part. The service was horrendous. It took 20 minutes to get shots, even though there was 4 people behind the bar and only 20 people in the restaurant drinking. Two of the larger parties were a 19th birthday and a 90 day sober party. The server kept telling me that the bar was backed up, however none of them did anything with any sort of urgency. It was so annoying. After that we checked our cards and they double charged both of us. I will never go back to this location and beware for those that do. Get a receipt.

Hamburger Mary’s is always a blast! The food is delicious, but let me tell you — the chicken strips are on another level. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. But what really makes Mary’s unforgettable is the entertainment. The drag shows are fun, fierce, and full of energy. The performers are incredibly talented and keep the whole place laughing, cheering, and dancing along. Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, the vibe is always welcoming and electric. Great food, amazing service, and some of the best live shows in town — what more could you want? Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends! 🏳️‍🌈✨

So let me start I know how do I give a overall 1 of 4 give other categories 2 star. So me and my husband went today with three other friends and all me and him had was 2 breakfast burritos and a coke and a sprite and I left a 5 dollar tip. Now that I am on my way back to Tulsa Oklahoma and across the state line I was like let me look at my charges for the weekend and low and behold Hamburger Mary posted 71.68. the burritos were 13 a piece and I can't image the sodas being more then 4 bucks max. So that math after tip maybe 42 bucks. But charged 71.68.. I will never come back and I will urge everyone else not to go or if you do check ur bill and ask for a receipt. If they contact me and fix this I will update my review for sure. So I said if they contact me I would edit the review I called them and the extra charges were for the drag show that I didn't not know or was told that you are charged 10 a person for the show so that was 20 bucks then the other 10 was because we had a large group of 5. No where on the menu does it tell you of this charge either. I will tell you I feel this is shady and no right for a business to change you things and not tell you why.. then when you check out they did not even tell you then they just tell you what you ordered. WILL NOT BE BACK

Okayyyyy now I just visit Hamburger Mary’s in Denver now I’m home in Dallas and didn’t know a Hamburger Mary’s was right under my nose. I had a great time food was awesome Mac cheese valls were 🔥🔥sweet potato fries with ranch and the wings were winginnnnn 😋😋😋 and they had great drag show

Baby, when u tell you I had a blast, it’s an understatement. The drinks were doing me right. The food is always delicious. The staff was cute and welcoming. And drag host today was hilarious. Highly recommend from someone who travels all over the states.

Came for drag brunch and it was so much fun! Great atmosphere and the food and drinks were SO GOOD! We got the mimosa tower. Great deal! The loaded Ta-tas were PHENOMENAL. Highly recommend.

Food was ok, think quick bite, nothing fancy. Brunch burger and fries were good. Chocolate pie didn't impress. My 1st time experience Saturday 2pm walk in; tables were all reserved, bar was available. The drag show was in full swing. MC did a good job keeping the crowd engaged. Great drag shows throughout my eating time and beyond me leaving. This could be interesting if you are looking for a high energy entertainment with some food.

They just had a drag brunch Saturday July 5. The food was great! The Mary Ana sticks melt in your mouth!!! The show was absolutely awesome! All the queens were beautiful and such a blast! Service again was great! We went for 1 show and stayed for both!

We had such a blast!!! The show was amazing, interactive, and the food was great! They celebrated all the events people were visiting for and made us all feel special, and gave us all birthday shots. We will definitely be back!

Food was not good, but the atmosphere and comedy made up for more than that. I took my girlfriend and her son over here for brunch and it was so much fun. Only recommendation is probably eat before you get here or just have lower expectations for the food. The people here are so nice and the comedy is amazing.

A few weeks ago, I was visiting a friend in the Dallas area and we went to drag brunch at hamburger Mary's. It was my first time ever. As a fan of Camp Waikiki, I was extremely excited! I ordered a bloody Mary and a cheeseburger. I had to, it's Hamburger Mary's! The drink and the food were delicious. The queens were great, and it was nice to see some local talent killing it! I hope to be able to go back to a Hamburger Mary's soon.

**Brunch review** We had a reservation, so we were sat promptly, but inefficiently. There were only 2 of us sat at a 8 top, although there were nearby 4 tops we could have occupied. The beer battered fish came out fried with corn meal. The French toast was enjoyable. The home fries came out unseasoned. Bacon and French fries came out perfect, but they should always Had to ask for silverware and salt and pepper for the table. The mimosa tower was 60% ice, would have rather have just been given the bottle at that point. They had a white tea shot special for $3 that was great though!

I think we stopped by in the middle of the restaurant into club transition, there was a lot of hustle and bustle. Even with all the business we had a dope server and the food was pretty good. I had a burger and my friend had the fish and chips. We can't complain and will I go back...probably but maybe a little earlier in the evening.

We stopped by on a Sunday night after a business trip. The vibes were there. Dom took care of us, we ordered a few martinis, burgers and enjoyed the doll haus show. A table sent over some free shots. So thankful. My friend loves dirty martinis and angel went above & beyond. She loved. Was such a fun way to end the day!

This restaurant is part of a legendary chain of hamburger restaurants that always have a fantastic drag show. They have a great bar and super cocktails. Highly recommended, especially for brunch. Amazing margaritas, tacos, wings and...of course...hamburgers.

I had been to Hamburger Mary's in Florida and was warmly greeted and felt like family. I asked my friends to celebrate my birthday at the Dallas location. Staff did not want to seat a group of 60 year old ladies. We had a reservation for 8:30 show. Several employees walked by us. One said he just needed to clean table, which we watched him do, but he never came back. Other people were seated and their drink orders were taken while we waited. As women living through the 20th century we know how it feels not to be wanted in a venue. We left. If you don't look like me you might have a better experience.

Should have been -0 Stars Terrible terrible terrible. I went in to try the burgers but had to use the restroom first OMG they where despicable if I wasn't in a tight I would've ran off. Not sure how this place is 4 plus stars. Try to eat dinner on a Tuesday night on the patio and they start an inside sound check Helen Keller could hear. Waitstaff is clueless about the menu but the Tuesday night special has reasonable prices, obviously desperate for business. Margaritas show up after the food. I'm just confused since they had all of 4 customers. All that said , their tacos are good so maybe I will order takeout

Food was cooked in week old burnt grease (you tasted it) One sever for the whole dining room Service was slow we left after we trued to eat the apps And drinks got ordered but got them myself from the bar I have been to many hamburger Mary's this one I will not return And there were children there so the show was shorted

A really fun time! Even on a Sunday night, we caught a fantastic drag show with talented queens, half price drinks, and a fun time. The vibe is super positive all around, definitely recommend for something to do in Dallas.

Fun place with a cool energetic vibe! Visited Mary's while in town from Oklahoma, hearing about it from a friend. Cool spot! Inside is so colorful. Our server was wonderful! Not a huge menu definitely good food. Good prices.

Burger was great, service also. However the performers, other than the emcee, were disappointing-especially the blonde.

Everything we ordered was BOMB. - Mary's Mac balls - Mozzarella Sticks - Jalapeño Cheese Burger - Breakfast Platter Drinks were DRANKS! The service was great! Sad they were out of the Mary's Heel novelty tumbler but I WILL be back for mine! Went during Pride and the drag brunch show was PHENOMENAL. The cast was incredible, the host was engaging, hilarious, and electric! The whole place was having such a great time and it was such a great environment. Will defo be back!

Ever since Mary's changed ownership there have been massive improvements. The food is way better, the drinks don't seem weak, and the staff aren't a collection of prostitutes. The new owners are a local committed gay couple, who are working really hard to improve everything about the Mary's experience. So far, they're doing great, and I hope the community will give the new owners a chance and their support.

First time at Hamburger Mary's and it was so fun for Galentines day. The show and food were so good and I can't wait to go back again. As the "token gay" with my two straights that the drag queens called us, it was so much fun and the time of my life.

This was the absolute best experience I've ever had anywhere!! The ENTIRE staff was so very warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly! The show was the best drag show I've ever seen! It was a blast! The food was good. The drinks great! The establishment was clean and in order. I will be back asap!

Recently came here for a drag brunch show on the weekend. I was a bit worried that the food wouldn't be that good, but I was impressed. I got the Big D Omelette and it was well cooked, had just the right amount of ingredients inside, and the portions were good for me. I also tried the Monte Cristo - my sister didn't like it bc it was too sweet, but I liked the flavor. I feel it's a good choice if you're between a sweeter vs. savory dish on the menu. I also got a raspberry bellini - I intended to get a glass and was charged for it correctly, but for some reason the waiter made fishbowls. I didn't finish for obvious reasons lol. I think the size would be great to share among a party of 3-4. Of course, the real main course here are the drag shows. The queens put on an amazing show! Very interactive with the attendees. They do give out $1 bills in exchange for larger amount bills in case you come short handed. It also seems like the establishments hosts quite a bit of shows that benefit charities/local community, which I love.

The performers were fantastic. Drinks were pretty good too. Food was nothing crazy special just your run of the mill bar food. Id definitely recommend getting reservations if you're coming for an event. Staff was friendly. The inside was cute and clean very fun.

Had an amazing night ringing in the New Year! Great margaritas for $5 and burgers were great also. Second time here and have enjoyed. New Year's Eve was my first drag show and it was a lot of fun with great humor throughout the night.

Great food! Awesome staff! Talented Drag Queens! We will definitely be back. We went after a bad night. It brought so much joy back to our lives.

We were invited to a campaign event this past Sunday at Hamburger Mary's, so we went to support Lupe Valdez who is running for sheriff of Dallas. Part of this campaign included a drag show which is always entertaining to watch, so why not come by and enjoy some food while we're here? The ambiance is very reminiscent of a gay bar with lots of pink and a stage for drag queens ready to perform! For the food, I ordered some tater tots with queso, jalapeños, and shredded cheese. For $8, I was expecting not too many but was pleasantly surprised with the portion size when it came! The tots were delicious, and I love the queso they put on top! They come with taco meat, but I opted out. I also got a BBQ burger with a black bean patty and added Mary's sauce, which is like a spicy or chipotle mayo. The burger was amazing!!! The patty was one of the best I've ever had, and it was definitely enough food. The fries were not as good, so I will get tater tots next time I go. I didn't get pictures, but the drinks and drag show itself were both amazing! Service was amazing as we had a great and attentive waiter. Overall, I want to come back to Hamburger Mary's very soon and will ensure I do so! Their food alone is worth the price, but the drag shows are just an added bonus to their value!

I am rating on experience. We had such a wonderful time! The performers were top-notch! Like I walked away with a girlfriend in my head and my heart. The energy! Yas to the energy!!!! Liyah Aliza is fire!!! That woman so darn fine! Sissy Pop the Hostest yas Baby! Oh, the show director Liquor Mini or Danny Cabrera love them love them! The MC we could hang outside of the show! The food was fine. As the name suggests, the menu is mostly burgers with some other pub type items (loaded tots, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, etc.). Of course, people come for the show rather than the food. The show itself was also fine. The chair I was seated in had my back toward the restaurant, so that wasn't ideal. I wish they spent more time near the front and had people to help them pick up tips. The bar service was also very slow - not sure if they were understaffed. One member of our party never got the second drink (vodka soda) she ordered but our waiter took it off the tab without issue.

Visited here for the first time tonight. Food is 3 stars, ambiance/entertainment is 4 stars. Very fun place to check out with shows and all. Had my first drag experience and it was wonderful. They will help you break all the bills so you have plenty of 1s for tipping. I will say that the food was mid. My cheeseburger was $17 and wasnt good. The fries were under as well. There were a bunch of folks in our group and i heard that the chicken tenders were really good. The mozz sticks were great, excellent cheese pull, too! The mac n cheese balls were decent, but for apps, go for the mozz sticks. It seemed like the servers kept bringing us a bunch of food and drinks we didnt order so not sure what the confusion was there other than the noise level. Sounds like maybe they should do an electronic order system with vibrators so people can grab their food when ready. It was so loud in here, no wonder they were getting all sorts of stuff wrong. I didnt have any alcohol but my dad said the drinks were pretty weak. ‍ the queens and show are amazing, the rest is eh. Definitely a place to go for a fun time.

It pains me to make this review. I've been coming to Hamburger Mary's since it officially opened under the name. Quickly became a regular, however, tonight. It really made me think twice about coming back. I've noticed the change in dynamics and demographics. Hey, love it. We should be able to grow and change as we succeed. But...when a fight/altercation happens at the entrance and spills outside right infront of the door....you probably don't want to go in. Even with a reservation. When one of the performers has to be involved to help deescalate the situation with one of the managers...you know it's not going to be a good time. I hope things improve, in the meantime. I think I'll let Mary have a break.

I have loved hamburger Mary's since living in Florida. The Orlando location was always amazing. When I heard they were coming to Dallas i was super excited. My mother and I went on a Saturday and it was not packed at all. We got to sit and watch the brunch drag show which was so much fun. I can't wait to come back to see another one. The food was okay not really the reason you come here. The drinks however were amazing!

Ricky the bartender was awesome. Everyone was so nice. Sad that we couldn't stay for the show. I know it was great.

Decided to check this place out for Sunday brunch and did their early drag show. We were promptly seated at our table and our server was quick to take our drink order. They have a great drink selection and only serve from their brunch menu. I didn't get their famous chicken and waffles this time but did get their breakfast burger and it was good. The show was amazing! All the performers were great and the host really made it a fun environment. The server always checked on our table so we never went without drinks and our food came out quickly. Definitely recommend as a place to start your Sunday Funday!

Leaving 4 stars until I come back for food! Bloody Mary was solid, but was surprised they didn't have menu for bloodies - I didn't even see one on the menu at all. However, they've done a super job of redoing the decor here from run down but beloved sports bar to 80s glam but not too glam. Much clubbier feel. Servers and bartenders were super sweet and moved around chairs for us. Excited to go back for food!

Food: Hamburger excellent. Fries cold and soggy. Cocktails: Okay Service: Pretty standard. Ambiance: Poorly renovated previous sports bar - Not the Hamburger Mary's vibe of the Ft. Lauderdale location, so not up to the standard expected. Entertainment: MC/Head Drag excellent keeping the flow of the show, quite the entertainer and the personality of the event. The length of show was too long, too many rounds for each drag queen. I found it hard to can't eat while they're zooming around your table for tips - thought it would be rude not to give them our undivided attention regardless of their skill. Needles to say, no one in our party got to eat while their food was hot.

I took my Lez Be Friends LGBT+ group on a Thursday! Twenty seven of my group members attended, and we all had a great time! Our server Richie Meade gave us amazing service!

We made a reservation for this place for the Sunday morning drag brunch while visiting Dallas for the first time. We have been to several Hamburger Mary's around the country in the past. The menu doesn't seem as good as the one in Denver. The food was really greasy and the breakfast burrito had way too much cheese dumped on the top of it. The staff was great, and the drag show was amazing! The one thing I hate about most gay bars and gay establishments is the restrooms suck and this place was no different. The restrooms were not very clean and when I went to wash my hands, the faucet came flying up from the sink about 2 inches when I went to lift the handle up. Apparently, this place has only been open less than a year and it's already falling apart!!

This is a great Sunday Brunch and great Drag performers. The food and servers were great. Love's the performances. We'll be back!

Absolutely love this place! Great drinks, food, atmosphere, and people. The staff makes everyone feel welcome and safe! The queens make sure that everyone is having fun and feels welcomed! You all are absolutely amazing and I can't wait to come back again soon!

Great burgers. Fun atmosphere. (Parking can be a challenge on weekends but it's worth a visit anytime.)
