What a great place!!! We went here for our friend's birthday and had a blast! The servers and staff is real fun,quick and efficient. The drinks are good as well but were little on the weak side. That day they were out of quite a few food items as well BUT what they lacked in those areas was beyond made up by the Drag show!!! Bearded lady is beyond hilarious and the queens are just so talented. My goodness did we have a fantastic time and the Latina Queen even did a special Selena segment!! Absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.

The drag brunch is awesome. You'll definitely have a great time here. The entertainers will make you laugh and keep the excitement going throughout the show. The food, drinks, and service are also excellent. Make reservations and go.

I had such a great time here! Lady Shamu was hosting a charity event and she was so wonderful. The servers were very nice and attentive. The food was pretty darn good and nice portions, too. I dont drink, but heard the mimosas were really good and a great value for the amount of champagne in them. The restaurant was decked out for Halloween, and it looked fantastic. I had such a time and cant wait to go back! Would definitely recommend to others.

I used to frequent Hamburger Mary’s at its old location. This was my first experience at the new location, and it was mind blowing. The drag brunch was very entertaining. Each act was full of energy, had elegant wardrobe changes, and offered a variety of different tunes.

This was awesome and a super fun place to eat some really tasty burgers and be entertained at the same time! Awesome, energetic drag performers did their thing with a gusto. You'll be dancing and singing along with them (unless you're boring party poop). Blackberri, the host was so funny, engaging and entertaining! Loved it!

This place is highly overrated. The drag queens do not put on an actual show. They get dolled up in amazing outfits and walk around collecting money. I expected a performance from them. The food was ok and the drinks lacked alcohol. We sat at a table next to the wall and had to kill 2 roaches. Ewe...big ewe... The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because our server was terrific. She honestly deserves 5 stars but overall experience at Hamburger Mary's does not. Disappointing...

Where do i start? Lol, okay first of all the show was amazing no doubt, the drinks were delicious, so good that i got a bit tipsy, lol, okay a lot tipsy. But y'all let me tell you all about the food , goodness oh my it was finger licking delicious. I might have gained 15 pounds that night but it was very well deserved. If you all want a good show and good drinks with great food ,this is an amazing place to come to. The performances were Very well executed.

Went in for a great time with family and a great show. Mary’s never disappoints me. We all had a blast. They still give good food and drinks at a cost and show fee is $15 a person

I always have a good time at hamburger Mary's. The entertainment is wonderful and the food is delicious.

My niece, who is 18 and came out last year, asked me to bring her here since she and my brother and his wife would be in town. How could I say no to her?! We came for Saturday drag brunch, walked in and were told that the bar was open and that they would begin seating in about 10-15 minutes. Once we were seated, our server, Romeo, greeted us and told us to scan the QR code for our food. I ordered the avocado toast. It was great. Food came out quickly. But the show! We had such a good time and Lady Shamu was a riot! Since we were sitting at the front, she specifically called my brother out and said he is her new husband and that my sister in law would have to Uber back to Dallas. The queens were all amazing, so talented and their makeup ... you could see the work that they put into this! I highly recommend this for birthday celebrations, divorce celebrations, and brides to be, or just for some great laughs and entertainment ... or in the case of my niece, just coming out, celebrating and living her truth!

My girlfriend dragged me here for this bar's Barbie party. This is the old Prohibition bar/brunch burlesque shows. Not sure if it always looks this pink, but they went all out for the event. There was a long line at the door but our friend knows the owner so we skipped that and got right in. My girlfriend tried ordering 3 different simple drinks but was told they didn't have the ingredients. Pretty crazy as you can see from the photo I took of the bar they have tons of options. Regardless of that it was a fun vibe. Would recommend checking it out if you've never been.

If you're in the area and wanting a GREAT and fantastic time, then this place is for you! I absolutely loved this place - the energy, the vibe, the fun... it was incredible! I visited their old location and had a good time! And I was happy to visit their new location with my friends and family. We made reservations for brunch on a Saturday morning for the 11:00AM show. We checked in and when everything was set up, we were seated. You're free to order drinks at the bar before getting seated and that's exactly what we did. I ordered the fish bowl Tokyo iced tea and shared it with my sister and boyfriend, and boy.... I was feeling it. The show itself was incredible. A lot of beautiful girls dancing and just getting the audience hyped and ready to have fun! Everyone in my party was laughing, smiling, and just having the best time. The food was decent, but nothing compared to how awesome the show was and the drinks that really get you feeling good. I am absolutely coming back here again!

We had such an awesome time at Hamburger Mary's this past weekend. Came for their Sunday 7:30pm show, which was free admisson but with credit card required for reservation over the phone. They asked us to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance, but when you arrive, you just end up waiting in their bar area/lounge (which was fine because I got to admire the colorful and quirky posters and decor, while having a drink). The host, Sasha Frost, was so funny and entertaining, and honestly I don't think the show would be as good without her. It was like part comedy show, part drag show. Everyone put a lot of effort into making sure guests had a fabulous time. They take your orders for food/drinks at your table, and they have so many delicious cocktails to choose from. I had the straw-berri tini and it was sooo good, perfect sweetness and flavor. But honestly, there were so many tempting options. I also tried some of the fries and nachos (shared with my friends/coworkers), and both were very tasty. The fries were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. And the nachos were loaded with toppings and lots of melted cheese. These sides were better than expected. During the show the dancers were so energetic and fun as they lip-synched to a great range of music. I know some of them were newbies, but there was only one that wasn't that entertaining (and it was with a slower song too, so that didn't help). But my friend still tipped her because everyone has to start somewhere, so why not support her... Other than that, everyone did an extraordinary job, and really brought a high level of entertainment to please guests up close and personal as they made their way through the crowds during each performance. And if you forgot to bring change, no worries, the staff can make change for you before the show starts (they have a stack of dollar bills on hand, so you can tip all of the glamorous dancers). Part of the entertainment included calling out guests who were celebrating special occasions. The host cracked a few friendly jokes about a couple who was about to get married, and gave them a free wedding shot. They also had the people celebrating birthdays walk onto the stage and do a little dance, lol. It was hilarious! As a final performance, Sasha Frost danced to a Whitney Houston medley, and this was the perfect closer, which we absolutely loved! Plus they offered free photo ops with all of the queens. We had an amazing time, and I lost my voice from all of the screaming and cheering. Also, the drinks here are cheap, so you get good value for your money, whether you have dinner here, or just drinks and a show (which by the way, lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes).

I'm battling between 3 & 4 stars for this spot. I like Hamburger Mary's because it's a good time, but I really don't like the new location. It's good for pride, but besides that, it's just a tough area for parking. The entrance is a bit confusing because the doors aren't exactly explicitly labeled. I had to walk through the bar/ club into the performance space. As I've read in many reviews, they WAY overprice their regular, non-alcoholic drinks. I don't drink, so I ordered a sprite. My total (show & one soda) was I think $25. Over $20 for sure. The show cost $15. So you do the math. It's ridiculous pricing. The margarita (my friend got) tasted like there was absolutely no alcohol in it. (So it actually tasted good, but I don't know if it'd actually get you tipsy). The queens are beautiful!!! And nice! I mean, it was fun for what it was & a good start to Pride.

This was truly such a phenomenal and fun establishment! The people working there are not only understanding but insanely hilarious! The drinks are amazing, and the queers really do have a heavy hand (same), but more so the taste was sinful. Could barely taste the alcohol, but little did I know that two drinks were in and I was drunk for the remainder of the day and a little bit in the morning... The food is so darn good, I couldn't stop myself from stuffing my face with the food and the drinks. It's truly a wonderful place to celebrate with friends and loved ones! This is truly a loving and fun time, I would definitely recommend it and would definitely do it again! The people working are very considerate and respectful! Additionally, the surrounding community is supportive and loving, as everyone should be!

Let me start off by saying the performers were all great! Energetic and engaging. I few shining stars as well Food: ~meh at best. If we go back, we will definitely eat before we go. Prices: High $15 per person for the show. That was a surprise. Food & drink prices were about what you'd expect. Cleanliness: The front bar was filthy. But the bathroom were much cleaner than expected . Staff: Juju was our waiter, he was friendly, attentive, but not too much in our faces. Website: Horrible. The show times were wrong. The reservation system just throws you into a loop of nothing. The hours of operation were wrong as well. The Grant location is closed even though it still shows up as open. When we let the staff know... they already knew and didn't seems to give a hoot. We will probably go again for a special event: Birthday, Bachelor/Bachelorette party, Etc... but we would eat somewhere else 1st.

We had an amazing time! The location is beautiful, plenty of space to sit or walk around. The staff were all friendly even though they were busy. The performers, oh my gosh, they were fantastic! Lots of energy and audience interaction. They were also gorgeous by the way!! The brunch buffet was generously available. Plenty to pick from, but we're really here for the drinks & show The Take me Drunk, I'm home drink is highly recommended. The stage, music & lighting are top notch. We will definitely be returning! Bring some single dollar bills to tip the staff & performers!!

Sunday July 16th at 2pm. A much needed down-time to wake the hell up -time, with the most charming and speak-easy freaking ambience! These STUNING, talented, Intense, BROADWAY-ESQUE SHOW-STOPPING WOMEN, break it down reeeeeal gooood! This show & entertainers will definitely make your Sunday absolutely FABULOUS before another week of busting ass with life's responsibilities! I have not smiled and laughed so hard in such a long time, thanks to Lady Shamu for entertaining the crowd! The most stunning, entertaining and limber Ladies! I could not keep my eyes off each beautiful dancer! The Beautiful waitresses are ON-POINT ALSO!!! Also, the air conditioning is amazing, the drinks are yummy and cold! We are coming again on Sunday, August 27th! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Thank you, Hamburger Mary's!

Such a great place! There was confusion in the beginning before we could go sit in the back so maybe just better communication before the show on what we are doing in that bar area standing around.

The bouncer patted me down.. can you believe this???? I feel so violated. Will never be coming back to this establishment and I'm going to let all of my friends and followers know.

After a really rough couple of years for my friend and I we decided we needed a night out. And we wanted to hang with our people "Queens and Queers" We wanted to have fun let our hair down (me) and her fro out (and it's a glorious one too ) and not have to worry about watching what we say and just be able to be our gay selves. And Mary's was that place! We went for the Drag show and it was so far beyond my expectations and sooooo entertaining that if I didn't absolutely hate driving downtown, I would be there at least once a week! The performers that evening were just Devine! Sadly I cannot remember my favorites name (memory issues) but, one ebony goddess had me just enchanted as Madam Badu and yet another with her high energy show... she took a flying leap off the stage and landed on THE. FLOOR in a FULL ON SPLIT! OUCH! They do serve food although we did not eat anything, way too busy watching the show! They do have 2 full bars. One in the front where you enter and wait to be let in to the stage area. And another in the actual show area. I don't drink, but my friend does. She had a few Makers Marks and I a Coke the drink bill was right around $60. The only Con, and this is where the "I hate downtown" part comes in! It was a bit difficult to find as the store front is not the typical bright "Mary's" Store front, but very dark. And I did take me 3 rounds and a full on illegal park job to find it. I also need to add that I can't see worth well... You know Bottom line is.... Go! They have shows for whatever schedule you work so you don't have any excuse. Even Sunday brunch and who can say no to Dinner and Drag

Great service and fun atmosphere It was great time and we will definitely be back to see more of the performances! All the ladies are such fun performers and just so pretty!

The good... we showed early for our reservation but were offered a seat to eat a meal prior to the show. The hamburgers are actually very good. I would return just to eat a burger! The drinks were ok. I didn't have the frozen basic margarita, but the group liked them a lot. I had a long island, and it was good, not fishbowl good though. While the show was great, I do wish the establishment gave more guidance to first-timers. We had no clue to bring cash! In an almost cashless world, there should be some direction to bring cash for the performers. I felt terrible not having cash, and by the time I realized there was an ATM, it was too late. The bad... I will NEVER order anything off menu at this establishment. If it is not on the menu with a stated price, do not order it! We ordered 4 shots and a beer. I was told the total was $54 and some change. Steep? Yes. Did I pay? Yes. Why? Because by the time I got the total the shots were there. When I asked for a receipt and how much the shots/beer was, I was told she had to look because she didn't know. How do you not know when you ring it up? As for the receipt...none available. You enter you email or phone number to get one sent to you. Which I did because I really wanted to know what I was paying for. That never came. Nothing! I think they do this on purpose to "save the planet" yet also allow bartenders to over charge without you knowing. Then I check my credit card to find the amount was more than the total I was told when I paid! Another 10 bucks! What ticks me off about this is that there should be checks and balances to ensure this type of stuff doesn't happen at your establishment. Yet...here we are.

The menu has changed since I was going there in another city. It is scaled down considerably, but the food is actually good. They are very service oriented. I strongly recommend you call ahead for reservations because this place. Very fast on the night we were there the ambience was energetics And participatory. I would suggest coming with a lot of singles. A lot of the performers work by tips. The only problem I had is that my wife did not think it was an appropriate place for date night, but she enjoyed the show. I had to do a do-over for a date night, the show is very fun to watch and their drinks are pretty strong so be careful and make sure your Uber app is updated.

Went here in a Sunday for brunch and Aw man they never fail me! Drag brunch with live entertainment, music and dancing. I ordered egg rolls which were huge and a punch for 2 ppl which was very strong yet fruity. I go to this place often and I always have a great time. As soon as you walk inside the vibes are energetic. If it's your birthday this is a good place to go, they give you a free shot and you get to twerk on stage #lgbtq friendly. They have a new location which is MUCH smaller than the previous location.

Went to brunch for a girls day and had a blast. Giving it a 4 start because it's very pricy and some of the dancers didn't show up.

We had a great time ! Loved the entertainment, the show was phenomenal, albeit short. Looking forward to coming back

Good drinks, good service, great entertainment. We were surprised at how on-time the show was, because drag shows are not known to start on time. Our server was very attentive, kind of rare for Hamburger Mary's. We brought our 2-year old cousin for her first drag show and she enjoyed it more than anything. There are competing shows that tell you they don't allow children. And there are awful people who will tell you drag queens don't belong around children. In my entire life, I've never heard of a Drag Queen bringing any harm to a child, but you hear about priests and pastors all the time doing awful things to kids. Just be careful who you listen to and make your own decisions about your children.

Excellent customer service. The drinks are fantastic. The food is good also. The shoes are always entertaining.

I made a reservation for myself and two others for brunch on Saturday, July 8th. Unfortunately, my flight cancelled from Philly to Houston and I called to cancel the reservation. They charged me $45 ($15 per person) because the reservation was less than 24 hours away. It was never communicated to me that there was a 24 hour cancellation policy. The person I spoke to on the phone was Brandy, and while they were kind, they never told me about this policy. I will be disputing the charge, but just a heads up that they don't communicate clearly.

Some friends and I went in for Wigs & Wings Wednesday. We absolutely had a blast. The food, service, drinks and the show all outstanding. Everyone was super fridley the place was clean and inviting. Thank You for the show. One thing is play some music before the show.

I wasn't expecting much from an 11am Sunday drag show - so I'm not terribly disappointed. As far as performers, it was evident who were the newbies, and who the pros were. For the most part they were all enjoyable. As far as food and drinks, they're really over priced for what they are. We were charged $75 for two entries ($30), 2 cocktails ($20), and fries and 2 sodas ($25?!!!!) the menu provided onsite did not match the menu on the website, nor did the menu at brunch feature much food, compared to the online menu. Overall I would probably go back, but I'll be eating ahead of time and sticking with water.

Great food, great entertainment, the service was awesome!!!! We will e going back soon.

Made reservations Tuesday the 25th of April for my birthday party Sunday the 30th. We all pay $25 for parking but then once we get to the door it's closed. We call and get a message that it was closed for renovations. A SIMPLE CURTESY CALL WOULD'VE been appropriate. $75 down the drain and time wasted not to mention birthday mood ruined!

There is a link on their website to make a reservation online, but it takes you no where. How do you do this? Why is this place run so poorly. I wish the managers of this location would consult with the Long Beach, CA location. They allow reservations online and do not scam people into paying a $5 cover charge. Do better Houston.

I had the best experience at Hamburger Mary's. We went for my birthday. The show was so fun and entertaining the entire time. I didn't even mind that they called me on stage for my bday for a dance! My waitress was amazing as well. Super friendly and attentive the entire time. And we are a needy group. Worth every penny.

It was my first time at Hamburger Mary's new location and I have to say from the outside it appears small until you walk inside. It was the best time ever. My 84 yr old mother enjoyed every min of it especially getting on stage and dancing. I haven't seen her smile that much since my dad was alive. (He passed a few years ago after being married for over 60 Years.) Thank you so much for being the highlight of my mom & my birthday.

The show was good, but the brunch buffet did not live up to the $25 you had to pay for it. I would have a rather ordered à la cart, and possibly paid slightly more, because it wasn't great. The performers also end up completely out of view when they go upstairs, so you can't see. This is an a drag show I will be attending again. Sorry.

OMG!!! Let's get the food (brunch) thing out of the way, It' not that great and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars Otherwise....It was an absolute RIOT!!!! Went for my wife's birthday and it was Fabulous people!!! I know there are gonna be people - mainly guys that might be uncomfortable with the idea, get over yourself and let yourself have a great time! It will be a long time before I smile so big again!

We went Friday for the 10 pm seating and it was a blast! Nothing but good vibes and great fun. The buffet was Suitable, nothing spectacular but good. The entertainment was point and so fun to interact with. Bring a a stack of singles and a hunger for fun. You won't regret it!

I like the performance but food is not acceptable! My any chicken that I ordered was raw inside!

Came here for my birthday in December and had a blast at Drag Brunch! Brought a small group of friends and we all really enjoyed the drinks, food, and performances! If you are celebrating something and the queens know, be prepared to get brought on stage. Can't wait to come back again sometime soon! Ps: don't forget to bring $1's to tip the queens! There is an ATM and people able to make change for you though, just incase you forget.

The show was amazing!! Love how they interact with the crowd to keep everyone engaged in the show.

The Service Was Unbelievably Slow. It Took Forever For Food And Drinks To Come Back After Ordering. This Was My Second And Last Time There. I Love The Drag Performers, But I Cant Enjoy The Show While Waiting Through All Of The Performers' Numbers For Food And At The Least Drinks To Arrive.

Love it here, our first visit was my birthday and we're going again this weekend! Ekk! The staff is amazing, so sweet and funny. The drinks were perfect. The space it's self was clean and I felt the tables were appropriately spaced for the show.
