Where to Feast During SF Pride 2018

"If what you want is a boisterous, tourist-friendly Castro dining experience, complete with drag queen hosts and pop-up performances, Hamburger Mary’s should be on your list. No, the food isn’t perfect, but the fried pickles are divine and the burgers will more than satisfy with the right balance of salt and fat. And for the sheer gay-tourist joy of it, you can spring for one of their $20 tall cocktails served in a high-heeled leg glass. This is also where to catch a drag brunch on Saturday or Sunday, with the show starting at noon." - Jay C. Barmann

Finally got to came and enjoy dinner and a show. I had a great time and enjoy every minute of it. I ordered Kobe Burger with tater tots with a classic margarita. Very good and worth every bite! Make sure to break change to tip your performers. Will come back again ❤️

I really love this spot! Let's just say though, you don't really come for the food. You come for the entertainment. Food - the burgers were alright and the appetizers aren't really anything to scoff over (and they're all fried). They are helpful when you want something to snack on during a show Service - AMAZING! I really love the people working here. From the servers, the staff, performers, all are really great! Ambiance - A no-nonsense, no-judging space. Good vibes only. I brought my mom in for her first drag show and we did the Mother's Day lunch. The performers were awesome and my mom said she definitely wanted to come back again. Tipping for the performers is cash only, but no fret. If you didn't bring any cash bills, they have staff members with plenty and you can pay them for exchange. Although we did make a reservation, we still waited outside for about 30 min or so to start entering the venue. They were probably still clearing and setting up from the previous show, but all good. It was just really, really hot.

It was a vibe. I loved the performances, especially Selenas with an S! The appetizer platter was delicious. The drinks were good. Should've paid attention to the prices of the drinks. The waiter offered mexican candy shots, our dumb selves fell for it.😁 Overall a cool experience but not somewhere I would want to visit again.

I love Hamburger Marys! It is always a fantastic experience. I have been to several Hamburger Marys shows and locations over the years, but this one is my favorite by far. Be prepared to spend a lot of money however if you come here, because of the reputation it is not cheap. Most prices are not listed on the menu (at least for drinks). I did find our server to be very kind, but I also felt rushed to decide on my order each time I said I needed more time. (The menu is pretty large and there are a lot of great choices). Our table was pretty wobbly, and the surroundings slightly dirty, but it's a bar so honestly I decided not to say anything although we did consider being asked to be moved to a different table which im sure they would have obliged. Everyone was very kind, like I said I've always had a positive experience when coming here, and of course the queens were incredible! They interacted well with everyone on the floor, and even thanked us for coming as we were leaving. Lots of humor and fun to be had. Humor is definitely 18+ They do exchange money for $1 bills if you need it for tips which is great. They also have an ATM and a gender neutral restroom inside. Parking is easy as it's downtown and in the parking structure the first 2 hours are free. I highly recommend ordering a burger and drinks if you come here. It is worth the extra few dollars for the American Wagyu burger, but the regular one is great as well. They have a large variety of toppings to choose from and will cook it exactly to you specification. The sides are great as well, I always order a salad or the sweet potato fries with mine. As for drinks I ordered the berry Martini, which was my second time ordering it and it's amazing. I also recommend the appletini. Their margaritas are also amazing and served with a great portion. If you live nearby and want to frequent, or just want it as a souvenier I highly recommend ordering your drink in the Mary Leg. It is pretty cool, and I belive they give you a discount if you bring it back at future visits. Overall, I would definitely recommend supporting Hamburger Marys it is a historic and iconic spot in the LGBTQ+ bar scene. I would especially recommend it for celebrations, and maybe as an introduction to Drag, because it is a little milder than some other bars. They host a variety of events which I've never been to, but the drag brunch with bottomless mimosas sounds fun. I love Hamburger Marys and the only thing I wish is that it was a little more affordable, especially since our community is so underprivileged. Still a wonderful time if you want to come out just for some drag, and maybe deals on cheap shots. I would recommend coming here expecting to spend $100-200+ if you are having a date, or a celebration.

The performance was great and the queens were amazing!! However, the food was not good. We ended up finding a hair in the sampler and got a new one but we’ were missing Mac and cheese balls and the waiter failed To inform us they had ran out. Idk I would go just for the performance but def not worthy it for food or drinks

The queens are amazing always! Wether it's a first Wednesday risque cabaret, or a deelicious Thursday you will have a fantastic time. They do have an ATM and they do have someone with dollar bills going around that you can exchange your big bills for. TIP THOSE QUEENS!! the downfall to this fine fine establishment can be the service. I'm not sure if it's common to be short-staffed almost everyday or if that's how they run business, but you may have to wait up to 30mins for just drinks (it was a small crowd, with hardly anyone at the bar so for drinks to take 30 mins was ridiculous) Regardless of the day of the week the queens will ensure you have a great experience

My GF and I took her daughter to the 3:30 pm NON Drag show . It was her 1st time there and our first time at the afternoon show. We reserved VIP , still had to wait in the line . After waiting for over an hour to be seated, we were literally crammed in between two tables. EVERY Time the waiter came, we had to stand up and adjust our seats so he could take other customers orders. We ordered food, it took 45 minutes to an hour for a few burgers. They serve drinks in dingy plastic cups. I had bourbon but woke up with a headache. It wasn't bourbon I can guarantee that. There were 4 performers that did not perform. They literally walked in circles, lip singing and collecting dollar bills! No show whatsoever. A total waste of time, energy and money. They use to entertain the crowd. Now, it's NOTHING!!! Don't believe the hype on their website. The worst "show" ever. I want a refund. 😂

We went to the Sunday Brunch showing and it was such a fun time. This was for a friend's birthday, and the hostess did a fun little bit by bringing all the birthday girls up front for everyone to wish them a Happy Birthday. We had 4 Queens putting in work and they all did a great job. Definitely packed in tight. The menu is plentiful and if you get the bottomless mimosas, they definitely make sure to keep your glass full (or in their case your boot). The inside is so fun decorated with shoes all over the walls, loud music, and a great show. The entrance fee was low but the food cost was high, so be prepared to easily spend $50+ on one person if you're planning on eating. The food being pretty expensive was good, I got one of their cheeseburgers which was $25+ for the burger and fries. They aren't able to split checks, but they can charge up to 2 cards for one bill. If you forgot to get one's, they have someone walking around with change if you wanted to exchange a twenty or more for tips. Before or After the show you can relax on their patio space out front and get some cute photos with your friends. They did mention they bring in special guests, so keep an eye out for any of your favorite Queens from some popular drag shows as they might just be performing here. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely will come back for another show.

Yelp
I love going to see the Drag Brunch. It's so much fun and the Queens really give it their all when they perform! I'm glad there's such an open and welcoming space to celebrate the LGBTQ community here in LB. Drag is art, it's a show, it's a laugh, all around an amazing time for straights, gays, and everyone else whose open minded. Also the food is way better than I expected tbh. I went for the drag queens, but fell in love with the sampler? Not what I expected. Service can be chaotic because it's a big place. But the staff is always polite and helps out when you bring it to their attention.

Yelp
this review is not for the amazing performers, it's mainly towards the service + the food. my group ordered a hamburger and a couple apps. the server with a ton of tats took our order and brought out the wrong hamburger along with another appetizer we did not order. after getting the miscommunication settled, my friend found tomato in her hamburger which she specifically said not to put! the server NEVER came back to check on us or get us more drinks. no tip was left for them for the terrible service. food was okay, the mac and cheese balls were the star of the show. the chicken tenders were the worst, i'd come back to see the queens and just eat before the show

Yelp
This review is not for the queens as they were amazing. This review is for the rude staff running this place. I don't like writing negative reviews, but the way we were treated this past Saturday just isn't right. We made a reservation for our group of five this past Saturday, so I called to make sure they received it, and someone tells me "Hamburger Mary's, hold on." She sets the phone down and for the next 10 minutes as I wait on hold, I listen to her chat with her coworkers and with various customers. I understand if you're busy, but part of your job is to take incoming calls, not set the phone down and have customers listen to you do other things for 10 minutes. I called back a few times and they kept sending the call to voicemail. So when we arrive in person, my boyfriend goes inside to ask them in person if they have our reservation. Me and the rest of my party waited outside, off to the side. As we're literally minding our own business and are out of anyone's way, a server walks over, rolls her eyes at us and says, "Are you guys eating or drinking, what're you doing??" And my friend explains we're just waiting on someone in our party to make sure our reservation is set for tonight. This server doesn't even let my friend finish his sentence before scoffing, rolling her eyes, and storming off. Then, when it was time for our reservation, we came back and had no idea they made you wait in a line outside even if you have a reservation, so we're about to walk inside and a worker tells us "Uhhh BACK of the line" with a nasty look. We still kindly oblige and then things are going fine until we meet our server. This guy was constantly forgetting things such as certain drinks, plates, our water, etc. At one point, we wanted to order more stuff, so my boyfriend waves him down as he couldn't hear us due to all the loud music. He leans over into our table and starts yelling at my boyfriend, saying "DONT SNAP YOUR FINGERS AT ME, DONT YOU DARE SNAP YOUR FINGERS" and then storms off. Our whole table was confused as we're all very kind and calm people who have worked in customer service ourselves for years and would never disrespect a worker. All my boyfriend did was wave his hand as the server couldn't hear us trying to get his attention. Oh, and I almost forgot! We asked for water, just regular water from the fountain. Our waiter denied us this and said they don't serve that, that we'd have to pay for water bottles. Mind you, it was my friend's "time of the month", so she really needed water and was forced to pay for it. According to California Civil Code Section 114376, restaurants in California are required to offer free, fresh drinking water to their patrons. So on top of the rudeness, they're also breaking an essential law in California food service... nice. It's clear that while this place is fun due to the queens and the DJ, the workers here have a very big attitude problem. Of course it isn't everyone, but for us to have not one but three instances of major attitude coming our way in the same night is just ridiculous. Again, we're all millennials who have worked tirelessly in customer service ourselves, dealing with terrible customers and all that. We are not *those* kinds of entitled customers by any means, which is why it's uncomfortable for me to even have to leave a review like this. If Hamburger Mary's can get their staff to act like decent human beings, then I'd definitely come back to regularly. For now... idk as I have a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Yelp
Wow! This was a really mixed bag experience. The great: the performers were 5 stars! Personality plus and gorgeous gowns and makeup. Double D was the best!!! The good: the food was just mediocre. The nacho cheese wasn't melted! The bad: we had reservations at 3:30. We were forced to wait 30 min. in the rain outside!!! The price was extremely high! Over 100 dollars each for only 2 drinks and appetizers. A shot of Jameson was 18 bucks!!!!

Yelp

Yelp
Why you should go: bottomless mimosas, brunch/dinner with a show, and supporting the local drag community!! Our party of 6 made reservations for brunch on a Saturday and we had a blast celebrating my friend's birthday. Be sure to read through the website and you'll have all your questions answered about the menu, showtimes, and making a reservation.  We felt that the talent for our show had some performances that were great, some lacked a little bit of energy, and overall the song choices were a little out dated. We were there to make the most of it and played along, so it was really a fun time! *Pro tip: be sure to bring cash, and if you need one dollar bills they will come by and exchange them for you. As far as the food goes, it is expensive but remember - you are paying for a dinner and a show... an experience, not too mention keeping businesses like this running. The burgers are great but DO NOT order the breakfast burrito. I'm serious, don't be tempted... it is not good.  I personally would love to see the decor even more glammed up and cleaner, but it was cute. The waiting music was great and there were definitely some hit songs mixed into the performances and we would've loved even more of that.  All and all, please go and have fun!! Hoping this place is around for a long time!

Yelp
What an experience for my first time here. It was so entertaining. The food wasn't too bad either. We had a sampler platter and chicken wings. I ordered a cocktail which pretty much tasted like sprite but nonetheless, I had a great time. The crowd was fun and I'm already thinking of suggesting that we celebrate a family member's bday here for brunch. What a great way to spend a Saturday night!
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Was expecting more from the experience- perhaps I just watched too many episodes of RuPauls Drag Race and was hoping to see a higher level of performance and entertainment. The drinks I had were good, and food was mediocre. Bottomless mimosas are available for $35/person. They no longer require cash payment at the door, contrary to what their website says. Most of performances were the drag queens walking around collecting tips. So as long as that's all you expect out of the show, this is the place for you. If you're wanting a full on comedy/lip sync/dance/fashion show- this is not the show for you. I do not plan on coming back again for the brunch show based on my past experience.

Yelp
I'm new to the Long Beach area and I was hesitant about coming here after reading some of the reviews but I'm glad they didn't keep me away! We came for a Sunday brunch and it a solid experience! We got bumped to vip seating, but otherwise our view would have been terrible. I think vip seating is definitely worth it or else you won't be able to see or participate that much. The food is very expensive, but it's decent food. They refill the endless mimosas as fast as they can (I saw them sprinting). The performers and audience were amazing and I would definitely come here again!

Yelp
Wild Wednesdays with Jewels and the Starlette Revue are always a hit. With decades of entertainment experience these are the BEST run and attended drag shows in the country. When there's amazing talent in town, they call Jewels!

Yelp
A blast! This is as much fun as you are going to have on a Friday night in Long Beach. I will 100% return. The highs were high, but there were some drawbacks worth noting. Cost: Tonight (Friday) it was $7 cover, cash only. I felt that was reasonable. Food: Stick with the wings and fries and you'll be happy. Everything else was mediocre at best, and the prices are strip club prices--think $20 for wings, $16 for a cocktail etc. Definitely avoid the pizza. Service: It's a busy place. Service takes a while. Unfortunately, there was a technical issue at the end and we spent 45 minutes after the show waiting for a bill that never came. We ended up telling the bartender what we ordered and paying what he believed the prices to be. It was a sour note on an otherwise fun night. The show: Fantastic. The host was amazing, but had a broken toe so should probably stick to hosting rather than performing while it gets better. The performance felt phoned in, which is to be expected when you're injured. The other performers brought it in their fun heels.

C C.

Yelp
Went to Hamburger Mary's for the first time and IT WAS SO FUN! The occasion was a bachelorette party and they did not disappoint. The service is a little slow but that's just because it's busy, so it is understandable. It took almost 30 minutes for our server to come see us for our first order. The drinks and food are worth the price, in my opinion. I got the chicken tenders and I thought it would only be like 4 strips, but it was like 10-12 pieces which was a nice surprise. The ambiance is FUN and even better when you're with the right company. The bride to be had fun, we all had fun. We will definitely be back!! And bring cash for your 1s! But they do have an ATM.

Yelp
I was really hoping to give them 5/5 but they lost a star for the food and prices. We ordered Mary macho nachos turf $16.25 and they were not good at all. Maybe it was the beans and it was missing salsa or that it was cold but for that prices it was not worth it. The chicken fingers were ok too, just meh. The service was great, our server was super sweet and we really liked her a lot. Made us feel very accepted in This queer friendly establishment. The ambiance of the facility is beautiful and very spacious with really nice lighting. The variety show was really good too, I enjoyed it. I would recommend coming to this place for a show and good drinks. I wouldn't come here for the food sadly.

Yelp
Not gonna lie, I felt the need of a little prayer and a couple of Hail Mary's, however we had a blast. The performances we excellent all the way to thee end. Such a great mix of music and genres. We got the appetizer platter since the reviews on food is sketchy. Drinks were watery, stick to shots, beer and maybe even a little pregame action. It was good and held us over to the next spot. Service was slow but there's a lot of moving parts so I get it. Don't forget the money for tips. Every performer made eye contact as they passed by and interaction was fun each time they passed.

Yelp
My girl, Adriana and I went for a night out and it was that and the shots on special...blew thru them! All the entertainment was fab and the bar cocktails were yummy. Food higher end meats for hamburgers tad pricey but okay...needs a lil more flavor to match the stage! Great energy and good times...lasting memories

Yelp
Hamburger Mary's is a great place to take in a drag show while enjoying classic American food and drinks. While the food is on the more expensive side, I didn't mind it because you don't have to buy a "ticket." Rather, you pay a $7 entrance fee and tip the queens with dollar bills as they perform. Additionally, the food overall tasted pretty good. Usually, when I get food at a place better known for their shows, I expect the food to be bad and the portions to be tiny. However, everything I tried here was good, especially the fried pickles which were crisp and juicy at the same time. One fun part about this location is they do themed performances so when I went in mid-October, it was Halloween themed. And then alter in the month, they had an it's Britney brunch to celebrate the release of Britney Spears' memoir. What also makes this place great is the location next to several large parking structures, so you and your friends shouldn't have trouble with parking.

Yelp
I'm so sad about our experience here, because I really wanted to love it. The drinks honestly made my friend group and I so sick (we only ordered two drinks each)--which is strange because they tasted like they barely had any alcohol in them and they were clearly very much watered down. They were also so expensive for what we had ordered. Way beyond typical LA drink prices. The food took a really long time to come out as well, to the point where my friend assumed they had forgotten about her order. I would recommend maybe going to a different Hamburger Mary's location in WeHo? Maybe that spot is better? This place is a no-go.
google avatar

Erin H.

Yelp
Firstly, the food pricing on the menu is shady-- as well as the way the waiter markets it. I split a Kobe Burger Queen Mary style with my friend and the waiter asked me what kind of fries I would like: regular, sweet potato, or steak. We got the steak fries. When the bill came back we found out not only had we ordered a $23 dollar burger, but on top of it was $5 for the Queen Mary style and another $5 for the fries. We asked our waiter after we got the bill who THEN told us the fries don't come with the meal. To me it's pretty shady to imply that they do and ask without sharing any of the extra fees. I was excited to see my first drag show, however most of the time there wasn't much more to the show than the Queens walking around collecting tips. I wished more of them could've done dance or singing, instead I was handing my cash out to someone just walking around. If you want to get drunk on a budget, don't order any food and just take their $4 shots plus a drink, they're both pretty big.
google avatar

Christine A.

Yelp
Hamburger Marys is awesome! Food is great (we loved the fried pickles), service is superb, and the live entertainment is fantastic and unpredictable. We actually saw a drag queen from RuPaul's Drag Race perform and seeing her was such a treat!! Parking is tricky and you will be likely to do metered parking, but it's manageable. If it's your first time, you tip drag queens as they perform so I'd recommend bringing about $20 in cash. They have a staff member who comes around and can exchange your money for $1 bills.
google avatar

Uyen L.

Yelp
I have been to other Hamburger Marys locations, and I'd gotta say, this is probably one of my least favorite. We showed up on a Saturday night, and it was empty outside. There are no lines. It wasn't extremely crowded inside, but it was a decent amount of people. They were late to start the show, and when it started, it was a little underwhelming. Three performers, and they were all just okay. The vibes weren't there, and I felt the energy could have been better. They were still great, though. The food was mediocre, and the drinks were decent. Our waitress was very friendly and made some recommendations when we asked for them. However, it took quite some time for our drinks/food to come out. The person bringing out the food had no idea what she was doing and had a terrible attitude when we tried to tell her who ordered what. Still had a great time, but I definitely expected more.

Yelp
Came here as a group of 3 girls in spirit of pride month back in June & for a belated birthday celebration! Definitely a unique experience (found off Tik Tok) but we felt it didn't fully live up to the hype... Perhaps an off day, but we were disappointed when most ladies came out and went straight to collect $$ :/ We were hoping for a lil more dance performance at the stage before dropping into the net. HOWEVER, I was head over... HEELS for Dolly!!! She really got into character as Wednesday and Lady Gaga, and her dance really brought the excitement overall and saved the show for us! Brunch food was mediocre, no prices listed on menu but expect it to be overpriced. Upon arriving, we saw everyone holding this BIG pink heel drink from the previous show. Definitely caught our attention! It's about $37 for those bottomless mimosas. Our server advised that most have about 2 refills and you get to keep the boot for next visit, which makes your money's worth rather than getting individual. He was right... you'd be surprise by the VOLUME in that heel.. I barely managed to do 3 refills!! However, I would say the likelihood of reusing that heel is slim. I walked around LB with it afterward and the heel fell apart the same afternoon :'( BRING CASH. $7 cover charge in front. Tip - from your servers, you can exchange larger bills for dolla dollas to tip the queens. Service was friendly and super quick to bring drinks and food. Performance starts about an hour in, after you've had some booze & brunch. We were seated on the side of the stage, so we got a clear view with no obstructions. They started the show by having everyone celebrating an occasion (such as birthdays and bachelorettes) go up, and everyone sang! Of course, no touchie touchies. 3.5 stars rounded up. Stars redeemed from Dolly & good service!

Yelp
My wife and I decided to hit this spot for her birthday and she was a bit disappointed. The DQ's were great but she wished they would have performed, actual singing and performance. It was not what she expected but maybe we chose a "not so good date". 3 star rating. Food was ok, American as expected. Service was good and everyone was very friendly.

Yelp
My friends and I had a really great time. The show was amazing and all the performers slayed!! Will be back with more friends! Parking is behind the building; the first 2 hours are free 320 Pine Ave Unit 405 Long Beach, CA 90802 Food: I got the Mary's burger and it was delicious. They do charge a few dollars extra for cheese. Restroom: all gender mutual restroom is available with 4 stalls. Please see my picture for the door design. I was reading some reviews stating the doors were really see through but I didn't think so. Drinks: amazing! We got the bottomless mimosas and the staff came around refilling our "leg" with a pitcher. Money: bring cash so the staff can give you singles for tips Performers: They were all amazing and beautiful! So energetic and talented! I enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you!

Yelp
The venue, the fried food (do not come here if you are committed to a nutrition plan), the service and the fabulous shows are the reasons why I cannot wait to visit Hamburger Mary's. The drinks? Not so much. Goodness, they were awful. That aside... This is a great spot for good, quick entertainment. The ladies are committed to the craft, and I appreciate the balance. In the same show, you will see a fashionista dancing to the high energy music of the day, a traditional queen with all the razzle dazzle, and a throw-back queen who provides hilarious reenactments of pop culture of the past (recent case: the rendition of the nameless Martian Girl from Mars Attacks was one of my favorite draft performances ever). Caters to a range of audiences. As for the food, I was pleasantly surprised. I love nachos, but hate "nacho cheese" and chili on my nachos. I decided to be open to what Mary was offering. These were some good nachos! And the chili was very tasty. Impressed all around. The only thing I tried that should be stripped from the menu absolutely immediately were the fried pickles. Those, along with the drinks (which we either too watery or tasted like nothing at all) were terrible. Tips: The Thursday night show is a treat. But, goodness, where was everyone. Parking situation can be difficult -- Uber recommended (always a good choice when you don't have a DD anyway). Get the reservation online, as I hear this place can get packed. The dance floor doesn't automatically have a draw after the shows during the week days, so it may be come and go if you are looking for that post-show energy.

Yelp
Everything about this place is 50/50, giving it a 4 star because the good outweighs the meh. First, we came on a very crowded day: brunch on a Sunday. It took awhile to get in and it seemed as if they were running late: let's say they ran on diva time. ‍ Service was better than expected for such a high capacity crowd. Our server was wonderful, though I didn't catch her name. Pro tip: have one person pay and have everyone else Venmo them. Your server will thank you and you will be able to leave even faster. Everything in the interior screams deaf queens, from the wall of shoes to the shoe chairs. This is not modern and sleek, but rather gritty, unapologetic, and true to self. I got the massive burrito which was not massive in length but massive in girth. This was a well balanced burrito with a great distribution of ingredients. This is a hangover burrito (or I've got my buzz on burrito) if I ever met one. It doesn't stand out but it is incredibly solid! I also got the Cesar salad, which was fine...but the burrito was the star. Spicy Margarita was amazing, just pricey (~$20). Another tip: pregame before and don't get the bottomless mimosas. It is difficult to drink from. Or bring your own large bendy straw. Finally, the performers were hit and miss. 2 were beyond fabulous and 1 was decent, and 1 was meh. Final tip: bring cash for the cover and to tip the dancers. They will make change for you inside. The other time I went here, it was on a week night and I loved it more. My brain was in shock when I walked outside after being in the dark club. This really is a fun place and it is authentically itself. Be prepared to spend money and have a good time!

Yelp
Don't bother making any reservations. They mean absolutely nothing just show up and wait in line for 45min to an hour in the sun.

Yelp
I had a great time with my friends here. It seems to be a popular place for birthdays (which is why we were there). Both the entertainment and the customers were very lively which adds to the experience, and we enjoyed singling and chair-dancing along to the music. The food was bland though and the drinks were very watery. This was definitely a good time and I appreciate the energy of the entertainers.

Yelp
I'll have to say, it was such an amazing show, I'll have to excuse the bad service. I took my daughter to brunch with my 8 closes friends and family, we had an amazing time! At the end of the night I learned 3 girls didn't get their food. Honestly I got my food quickly and the was so much going on, they got missed. You do have to wait in line when you already have reservations. Like I said , it was well worth it, I hope they get a little more organized in the future.

Yelp
Food is very below average like everyone already pointed out. Drag show is a good time, exactly what'd you expect. Maybe eat before so you dont have to waste too much money on the food and just get apps/drinks lol Good for bach/birthdays etc. pay the extra $5 for VIP front row seating so you dont get stuck in the back

Yelp
Out of all the Hamburger Marys this is the best set up internally. Parking is great Love the outdoor kick it area Drinks and food come at a reasonable time and price. Actually price is a lil expensive tbh but ill let it slide cuz it's really fun inside. However staff/service offers us the ability to split checks yet get the orders incorrectly placed on each check. They may need to work on that cuz it was frustrating trying to have fun and then figure out who ordered what later since we thought it was taken care of

Yelp
Hamburgers don't disappoint! Shareable portions and always a GREAT time! Very safe and friendly environment Cover charge is now added to bill (aka taxable), which is not my favorite. Especially because later in the night they accept covers at the door in cash.

Yelp
After paying a $7 cover just to get in. We had a reservation. We were seated. After 30 minutes of looking for a server, No one ever came so we left.

Yelp
Hi just so you know I have been several times to see a brunch show here at hamburger Mary's Long Beach and it was fun and great before But last a bday February 25th I went and believed me if I say I was so disappointed 1. Those party tables with ugly wrinkled linen . Will definitely ruined pictures 2. The drinks are highly the worst drinks I ever had with 1 % alcohol. I don't mind drink prices now days but they should have the correct amount of alcohol and well made by a professional. 3 . This is the most important Now this is the 3:30 Sunday show I'm referring to Drag queens my people are extraordinary artist and are known for the make up art peace amazing wigs and tremendous high heels and those great dresses that makes you not regret spending every penny to watch a show, The show host was on flats , a Celine Dion show was probably the best dressed and beautiful choreography but no wig regular makeup to regular for a drag. And the rest not sure what was going on but not entertaining at all . My advice is to bring those artistic shows back spend time and money on your beautiful costumes and wigs and shoes I'm sure you will get back because customers know the work and don't mind paying for it . You're set ups ,drinks and customer service Because customers don't mind paying unless is worth every penny and can also be great for post in social media and recommendations.

Yelp
We went here last Sunday to celebrate a birthday. BEYOND FUN. The portions for the food are massive, the show was so fun and it was very sweet for them to thank us for coming- most places don't give go out of there way to do that. We will be back!

Yelp
Hamburger Mary's is ALWAYS a fun time! Seating in the back does have view obstruction, but you'll still have fun

Yelp
I brought my friend for her first drag brunch show. We came to the 12:45 show and it was packed. They sat us all the way in the back in the booths and we missed a lot of the show because we could barely see anything. So that was a bummer because my friend didn't get the full experience. Our drinks were good and the food was tasty. She got her food maybe 15 minutes before mine came out. I was expecting more a brunch selection but hey it's a bar right. What we saw of the show was pretty cool but I'm going to have to take her to another show to get the full experience. Maybe we'll try West Hollywood next time.

Yelp
I had my birthday brunch there and boy was it a treat!! The food was good & the drinks were awesome. Servers were definitely present & making their rounds. The performers were "FABULOUS" & the Venue was adequately sized we had VIP front row seats to the extravaganza.

Yelp
Overall outstanding experience from beginning to end!!!! Everyone was amazing and I look forward to going back soon! Also they are amazing at accommodations. I use a wheelchair and they didn't make me feel like an inconvenience but more like family and it was no problem. It warmed my heart!

Yelp
Been here one time since then and still no change. Most show is missed due to pillars/seating and food service took forever. I got my food at the end of the show, I could barely make a dent before we had to leave. Drinks are good but over priced, just hoping third time will be when I'll have a good experience here...if I go back.
