Hamburger Mary’s

What a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and adorable with homage to Mary in everything. The staff was gracious, helpful, and prompt. We attended one of the Sunday brunch shows. The food was well prepared and well seasoned, as were the drinks. There were two performers and both were classy, vivacious, and entertaining. Mz. Gizelle put on a show that boggled us. I've also been to a dinner show at the Vegas location. That one is more of a "club" like environment, so very different between the two.

Was in town for a friend’s wedding. The show was fun, the staff genuine, and the bar set up vibey. It’s lovely to be in a space in which one’s queerness doesn’t come with standards or expectation-you can just be. In the here and now. Toledo is a cool lil’ space.

We ate outside on the patio to enjoy the riverside view. We unfortunately did not make it to the drag show. We will be back for that and those $3.00 mimosas! Our waitress, Heather, was awesome! She managed half the patio and the bar with excellent service. We went to eat at about 3-3:30 pm on a Sunday. It wasn't very busy. We ate the chicken strips for our appetizer, I had a salad that starts with a "V" (it was Delicious I just can't remember the name of it) and my husband had the Proud Mary hamburger, he really loved it. We both enjoyed the Tuxedo Bome. That really brought the whole meal home for me. If you go to this restaurant at least try that dessert it was stellar. They have a strip of restaurants here and a volleyball court and a park with many walking paths. Great way to spend your afternoon or evening.

I am thoroughly enjoying the delicious food here in Ohio. As a vegetarian, I am on the lookout for new places that offer vegetarian options. Apart from great food, I also appreciate excellent customer service and creative surroundings. It's always a pleasure to dine in a restaurant that offers a great ambiance and picturesque views.

Nice smaller venue than their previous place. More human scale. Convivial and drag positive.

My family was downtown Toledo. We happened to see Mary's Burgers. We stopped by cuz we were hungry and the place was excellent. Hazel was a waitress. She was awesome. I loved everything about this place. Nothing is better the great people with good food..I will definitely be finding my way back.

Absolutely love it! The entertainment was great, food and appetizers are delicious. Justice was the best, knew how to read the crowd and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a good time! Hands down a great place. If you’re nervous don’t be, go have dinner and a show you won’t regret it!!

Fabulous decor though I didn't ever see their previous location. The burger was juicy and full of spice and flavor. Fries had a good zing and went well with the Bahama Mama. The shared deep fried twinky was delish.

Had Mary's for early dinner tonight. Great spot! Very friendly staff. Loved my burger ! The spice girl! Like that they make in house pickled peppers. Made the burger very flavorful. Had a bowl of chili. Pretty good. Needed to be hotter. It was luke warm. Sadly no show was going on at the time . Love a good drag show.

If you haven't been to a drag show you really are missing out! The queens are always an amazing show and are positively filled with energy! They have a great food and drink menu, but the entertainment is by far the best part of this place. It's a must visit!

Where to begin! Hamburger Mary's is nestled in downtown Toledo... near nothing it seems. The inside is well decorated and clean. Full bar! Everyone was super friendly. Over all service was sorta slow however the entertainment kept you occupied for sure. This place was a fun stop!! If you're looking for a. Ice quiet conversation place, keep looking. It was loud for sure however it was full of fun!! The cheese curds were an ok appetizer. The burgers are good. Plenty of burger options. Our burgers were tasty. Come prepared to tip the queens! They are fun to watch and interact with. They will interact with different tables as they go around. FYI they can be a bit vulgar so if you're not into that don't stop. This was a fun stop for sure. We will stop back in again.

3-1-2024 The food and drinks are ok at best. Our dining companion found raw chicken on her salad. But hats off to the performers, who did a nice job of trying to include all the patrons in some fun. I really appreciated their spirit!!!

Just not my thing. Went for a friends birthday and had to pay a cover charge to eat dinner here because they had a "show". No the food was decent that everyone had. The problem was it's WAY over priced. I had three drinks and it was half a hundo. Plus the drag show while eating and being loud. They also come up to your table asking for tips during the performance. Just not my cup of tea. I definitely wouldn't go back there.

Okay, I had been to the old location a few times and although overpriced, I never had any complaints for the most part, except the customer service at times. I just discovered they moved and was excited to see the new location for myself! I was not disappointed: the ambiance, decorations, SHOW and building itself were immaculate AND everyone was friendly. What I thought was kind of ridiculous was that I had to wait for my food for 2 hours just for the queens to say we would have to pick all of our food up (even if we just got it) and go find a new seat with the hostess........, I had already watched an entire show and been there over 2 hours. I should have had my food and enjoyed the show. Not "enjoy the show, but hey if your food comes afterwards, you may have to move seats for the next guests. Feels quite shitty when everyone in the building has eaten (not an exaggeration) and we're about to get kicked out of our seats. Also, the birthday girl waited over 30 min for her alcohol along with half of our party. I GET YOU HAVE LARGE PARTIES, I've worked in restaurants. But if y'all can't handle large parties all at once, something needs to be done. Overall, thank you but could still be improved.

I'm from out of town. My daughter lives here in Toledo. When I said I wanted a good burger she recommended Hamburger Mary's. I was totally not prepared for this place! Went with my 8 yo granddaughter and we both loved it! Staff was super friendly. Burger was just what I was loooking for. And the decor! I won't spoil the surprise for others, but I would love to go back and see a show!!

I ordered the Proud Mary burger (20$ burger) it was huge I could barely fit my mouth around it.It was decent I wish they would've seasoned it. They charge 4$ to watch the drag show which was also okay, it was entertaining.

Well they moved location but they must of found the cheapest location and the furthest away from all the acitivity downtown. I've stopped here several times, food I give a C and drinks I also give a C. when I heard they moved I was hoping the location was closer to the ballfields area where all the action is. They did a nice job and renovating the location and staff are very friendly. I remember back in the 70's Toledo had a huge bar scene and just wonder what happened over the years.

Alright, I've heard so much hype about this place, and I was so freaking excited to visit! We went on a Saturday for lunch, and we were, quite literally, the only people in the place. *sad trombone* Listen, I ordered a burger smothered in mushrooms and a side of fries, and both (the fries being a tad overdone) were yummy, but I wish I had understood that there would be ZERO drag queens in attendance at 1pm on a Saturday. Sure, as I type that out loud, it makes sense because 1PM ON A SATURDAY, but still, was sorta let down. Our table did face a window overlooking the river, so there's that. The servers were super nice, the host was fun, the food was good. Checks three important boxes. Will be back at a more suitable drag time to check the final box.

Stopped by the Hamburger Mary's while on a quick trip through Toledo this weekend. My partner and I sat at the bar. This was my first time at a Hamburger Mary's so I was pretty excited. I was left with mixed emotions and pretty underwhelmed. The cocktails were great and the service was fine. I had a Mariah Carey and it was a nicely crafted cocktail. After that I had some beer on draft. We had already eaten dinner but decided to order the Cheese Curds and fried pickles for something to munch on. The curds were great, the pickles were so so. The ambiance itself feels very sterile and not what I had pictured. There was a drag show going on which I normally love (I am part of the LGBT community) but the performers were just ok. It was obvious that they were playing to the mostly straight crowd there and I love that there were families but the show was very boring. Perhaps it's more of a happening place on Fridays or Saturdays but it just left me severely underwhelmed.

Justyce Sinclair is hilarious and entertaining and we love seeing her around Toledo being the Queen of Drag Queens. We had a great time last week- my husband had a great time being teased. I had the macaroni and cheese burger and fries- it was delicious and the Toledo Cosmo was tasty. Loved the atmosphere and the food! Our server, Emilio, was fantastic and adorable. His lashes were amazing!

Came with a group of friends. Only one other table with customers so pretty empty. Service was terrible. Once the other table finished we were the only customers in the restaurant. Took forever to get our orders placed. My sister ordered a frozen margarita and it was terrible. Had to send it back twice to get a drink that was still not very good. Took forever to get our food and 2 of my friends had to wait about 5 minutes after everyone else got their food. They had to sit and wait while the rest of us were already served. Two of my friends ordered chili, neither liked it. I ordered the bird of paradise sandwich which was supposed to have avocado on it but when I got my order there was like a drop of avocado on each half. Almost $40 later and left very unhappy with this visit.

Went with my girls for ladies' night. We ordered a spread of food and all shared to try everything. Everything we got was hot and delicious. Drinks were flowing and they were all great as well. We sat at the bar and had the honor of having Theo take care of us. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Super funny guy who could handle our crazy group.

Restaurant on Huron st is amazing wonderful entertainment and service or server theo was super nice and helpful even though he was obviously busy overall amazing experience from a non drag fan lol

Hamburger was amazing Mojito was best ones I have had besides Vegas. We will definitely go back.

I visited some family members over the holiday and my sister-in-law had been raving about this place all year. We were really looking forward to this experience and our visit exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived for Ham Bingo with Gizelle De Veux on a Wednesday and I will recommend this event to everyone I know who is in or will be in the area. Gizelle has amazing crowd work. The timing on everything was met to perfection. It seemed like everyone in the establishment were working together very well. Our server was amazing. Everything was timed perfectly and she knew exactly when to come and ask if everyone was doing well or if we needed anything. The HAMBINGO! winners were brought up on stage to have their moments and Gizelle kept the ball rolling in a fun way. We were all given the option to play a final round or to enjoy a dance performance after the meal. Of course everyone loudly declared that we wanted a dance performance and Gizelle brought the house down! Mind you there were probably only 40 or so customers, it was a Wednesday night, but it was a party. This was a great show. The burgers were a hit with my family members so the name "Hamburger Mary's" passed the test. Burgers are not my thing but my salad was simple and fresh. Just what I wanted after a long holiday of naughty foods ;) I highly recommend my beverage of a Mahoning Valley Moonshine Bloody Mary. If you are feeling down, this will cure what ails you!

This is a fun unique outing, especially if you have a fun group. It was definitely entertaining, the food and drinks were basic, 2/5, but the atmosphere was fun and our group really got into the entertainment and even danced and performed with the entertainers!

Of course a very fun experience if you go for a drag show performance. The burger I had was surprisingly very good. The chicken tenders are a pass, just the cheap below average frozen tenders. The drinks don't have much alcohol, not really worth the price. They put on a good show though and offer great views of the river.

Definitely need to come experience the fun. The ladies are all nice. The dancing and singing during your food makes it so fun. The drinks are pretty good, and the food is good.

Alright - let's focus on the main emphasis this is a really cheeky restaurant with entertainment that you may not see outside of this chain or Las Vegas. I took my college (Go Rockets!) daughter and her roommate and we laughed and cheered for over an hour. The show was cheeky without going too raunchy and it was fun to celebrate other tables' birthdays and wedding engagements. The food, our burgers and fries were good if unspectacular. Cooked per order and vegetables / toppings seemed fresh. The mac and cheese was a disappointment but it's not called MacNcheese Mary's. The staff both wait and entertainment were friendly, full of energy and prompt. Are you a dad or a 'normal' guy (whatever that means anymore), you will be fine enjoying a meal and show at Hamburger Mary's and have a great story to tell co-workers.

The food was good, the drag show was fun.. service was pretty good. Hidden fees are bad, and make you look shady.

Had the chance to experience the Sunday drag brunch and had the best time ever!! The place was packed and everyone was having a blast!! The hamburgers are high quality and delicious. Note that during brunch the menu is very limited...1 burger and breakfast items like biscuits and gravy, eggs, etc. It would be great to have a few more lunch options on the brunch menu.

I tried Hamburger Mary's for the first time, and was Very impressed with their food. I had it delivered to my home. The burger was the best I've had in a long time, and I'm now addicted to their onion rings. I will have to visit their restaurant in person. I'm sure the atmosphere will be first class...a New Toledo Tradition!

Delicious and fun! I was pleasantly surprised...felt like a fun night out but it was only 6pm on a Sunday! Toledo is lucky to have this place.

It's frustrating when restaurants and retailers are not open during their stated operating hours.

The burger was the best part. I ha the Queen Burger. I would rate it as top 5 burgers I've had (probably #5). I wasn't too pleased with the prices. They charges me for a taste sample of beer. As a beer enthusiast, I've never been charged at actually breweries. Although it was only $0.25, the waiter never told me that, and it's the principle of it. The Drag Show was cute. But I kinda knew it was the sam performers you'd see at the bars throughout the city. I think there should be more of a variety or different types of performances. The drinks over all were way i overpriced.

First time experiencing Hamburger Mary's last night with a friend. The atmosphere was much different than I expected. It was very light and airy with a lot of hustle and bustle. Drinks were good. I had the Pink Mary because I'm a "fruity" drink kinda girl. Appetizer was onion rings which were perfect, followed by entrees of the Hamburger Mary (I took half home because it was so big) and a BLT. Both were good, but my burger was not cooked properly and the bottom of the bun was soaked in grease. Had deep fried twinkies for dessert just to bust the calorie intake fully...delicious. I'd like to see some salads and healthier stuff on the menu, but the experience was one of a kind for Toledo! I wish them much succes

This place was fun-ish. Most of the queens out little real effort into their performances, but rather walked around pandering for tips. The food was mediocre for the hefty price tag. I'd give it another try later in the evening - maybe it's more fun at later shows?

This was a very entertaining place to have dinner at. I really enjoy the queen's they made my birthday very wonderful. The food was really good to.

The best part of drag shows meets delicious food. It's one long drag show while you eat. The good is great, the drinks are awesome, and the performers are fabulous!

It was a first time experience for me Thursday evening. The appetizer and food was a bit pricey but the performer was was very good. The down side was allowing kids. Two children were there and gave money to the performer. In my opinion not suitable for children.

The food was above average and the entertainment was great, however, I spent over $50 for 1 burger and 2 drinks and waited over two hours for a table. It was a fun, novel time but was not at all worth the money.

The atmosphere AMAZING! The dancing AMAZING! The food AMAZING! I loved this place. The Queens are all so nice and very friendly.

went there yesterday instead of them saying they were closed this lady out and asked us why we was there and we said came for food and lady were closed no sign door was unlocked I won't be back even when they are open I think we can find a better place then hamburger Mary's

Fantastic burger and awesome entertainment. The performers are hit or miss but there's always at least one or two who are really passionate about putting on a show. I'm proud of Toledo for continuing to evolve and grow in multiple capacities. If you haven't tried Hamburger Mary's, I would definitely recommend getting a group together and doing so!

Always happy to support a gay business. Great patio and views. Food is typical Hamburger Mary fare. A little pricy but typical for those type of places. Entertainment isn't that great. Toledo needs some new queens. I hope they start doing bingo. Plenty of free parking and service is always good and they take appropriate covid precuations.

Here from out of town with my family. We got burgers and chicken fingers and the appetizer sampler. Wow. The food was incredible! The service was top tier. Steven was our waiter and he was very attentive and personable. We will definitely be back. Excited to see a show here.

Great food, fun atmosphere, and amazing staff. We had a great time watching a show for a birthday celebration. I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse crowd with everything from grandparents with their grandkids to bachelorette parties. I have not stopped talking about the Swedish fish martini. Highly recommend.

So disappointed. I've been wanting to try a Hamburger Mary's for a long time. The service was slow, drinks were watered down & the prices for the quality didn't match. Very sad.

The service and wait staff were exceptional! What a great time with some fun entertainment! Cudo's to Hamburger Mary's! The burger was delicious and our reservation was ready when we arrived. If I had to make any needs for improvements, it would be the front entrance as the landscape was poorly planted and the front façade and pick up drop off area was dirty and broken. Other than that, wee had a hoot and left fully satisfied! Thanks! WQe will be back!

Stopped in for lunch. Walking in the lobby smelled like toilet bowl cleaner, the smell got more subtle when we sat down but it was still lingering. I got the queen Mary burger, when I received it the bun was soggy, like really soggy. I took 2 bites and was done. I am hoping that it was just an issue at lunch as maybe they are more on their game at dinner. I'll give it another try at dinner, hoping that they are more on their game. Extremely disappointed.

We came here for lunch today (Sunday) and it was perfect! Tyler was our server- he was super helpful and so quick with refills, food suggestions and grabbing us extra sauces or last minute order additions. He was so sweet and happy- awesome to presence and cool atmosphere. I actually got the chicken tenders- I was expecting the average frozen/ reheated ones but NO- these were handmade and with freakin love! Hands down best chicken tenders I've ever had--- and I normally wouldn't even order them. We will definitely come back and bring the girls! Can't wait to see a show here!

If it was based on the taste of food, it would 5 stars...unfortunately, the price is astronomical...it cost my family of 4 over $80 to eat at a burger place...and on top of that, most days, they aren't even doing a show...so if you want expensive burgers, this is your place.

Great food and a really fun drag show! We had the mac & cheese bites and vegetarian burgers (Beyond & black bean). Everything was really good and the service was excellent! The queens were fabulous as well! I am so glad there is finally a Hamburger Mary's in this area!
