This is one amazing hamburger joint! The first time I was in Denver, we found it more or less by accident. When we came back to town a year later, it was on my definitely have to go to list. It is advertised as Mexican Style Hamburgers, which seems to mean great big hamburgers loaded down with a wide variety of tasty toppings. These vary from the mild, such as avocado and grilled pineapple, to the wild which include fried bologna and bacon wrapped wieners. There are few other choices, such as hot dogs, and chicken nuggets for the kids. However, the main course is the magnificent burgers and fries. The fries are indeed good, very hot and fresh.
This place isn't that impressive to look at from the outside. Just a small square singe story orange and white building in a commercial area. Inside there are old-style red vinyl booths, and simple tables. Then there is the menu wall, which offers the various choices, each of which pictures the finished product. They can certainly customize any of the burger combinations, in case you don't like onions for example. There also are bun-free options for those who want them. After browsing the wall, go grab a drink out of the coolers (the selection includes Mexican Cokes and other soft drinks). Then order at the counter, pay, and wait for your number to be called. Then eat a magnificent meal!
