Hamdeok Beach

Hamdeok Beach in Jeju is a popular and picturesque beach, known for its clear, shallow waters, soft sand, and scenic views of the coastline and distant mountains. The combination of turquoise water, soft sand, and surrounding scenery makes it very photogenic, though it is relatively ordinary compared to more unique or dramatic beaches in Jeju, with no striking rock formations or cliffs. Overall, Hamdeok Beach is a pleasant, relaxing spot for families, couples, and casual visitors who want a safe and scenic place to enjoy the sea, though it’s more of a classic, easygoing beach experience rather than a must-see natural spectacle.

I visited with my wife on a weekday. It wasn’t exactly empty, but it wasn’t overly crowded either. On the beach, there were separate areas: one for parasols available for rent and another where visitors could set up their own parasols. Since there were plenty of activities and food options nearby, we were able to enjoy everything without needing to go elsewhere. As for parking, we used the free parking lot, but on busier days it might be difficult to find a spot there. So, it would be better to plan ahead for parking before visiting.

This beach is really beautiful. Even though i didnt have chance to explore this place properly. Stopped there for about 20 minutes. But liked it! i wanna go there next time....

Loved this beach except there isn’t any shade so you have to bring your own. Most people with tents were respectful and set up at the back. There’s a trail on the east side to walk along.

The hamduck beach in Jeju-island is so beautiful place on earth. You can see so many fish and enjoy water sports as like snorkeling, surfing, sailing and foods.

Beautiful beach. White sands. I imagine it would be nicer in the warmer months when you can enjoy the water. Otherwise, there's not much to do here. Photo ops are plentiful, though.

Great beach with beautiful water! Quite busy - even in the quiet season. Definitely worth a visit! Tables and umbrellas are available to rent
