Hamilton Family Wines - Tasting Room

I went in for a tasting and came out a Som!!! Greg’s knowledge of wine is out of this world and it carries through to the quality of the wine they produce. Just got my first wine club shipment today at the office and left early to pop a bottle!

This is a family-owned and operated winery - if you like getting to know the owners/wine-makers, this is the stop for you. Greg and Lindsay are just the most gracious hosts, not pretentious in the least and super knowledgeable about their wines. I'm usually a strictly red fan, but I love their rose. Honestly, there isn't one I don't like, but the Pinot and GSM are favs! Go visit, buy wine and become a member - the Hamilton's treat everyone who visits like family.

My friends and I had an amazing time tasting. Lindsay is very warm and knowledgeable and had a beautiful table set up for our arrival. It was exactly the experience we were looking for. Highly recommend

I love the experience and the wines. As a local tour guide this is one of my hidden gems that I enjoy bringing people to. There are very few places anymore, where you can sit and taste wine with the proprietors of the business and learn their story first hand, and this is a great one. Greg and Lindsey are sweet and their wines are delicious. I love the little bit lighter style that I think is becoming very trendy. I say definitely pop in if you’re in the area.

Truly a great spot for a nice intimate wine tasting experience. The wine is also amazing!! We joined as members after our first visit and haven’t regretted it. It’s one of our hidden gems when we visit from the Bay Area.

This place was an amazing experience. The owners and their team (especially Jesse) were wonderful to be around and knowledgeable. We had a group of 12 and this winery was my favorite out of the 8 we went to. If you are in Sonoma or going to visit, I highly recommend Hamilton winery for a relaxed, personal atmosphere, great wine, and overall great experience.

We had such great time meeting Greg and Lindsay and trying their new tasting room and delicious wines. We had a very personal experience where the couple answered all of our wine making questions and were beyond patient while explaining the process to newbys. It felt like a private dinner in their home with beautiful wines and amazing design.

We pulled into this tasting room with no knowledge of what to expect, as we were simply looking for a pre dinner activity. We were blown away, ended up joining as members, and left wanting to tell our friends about this wine, and winemaker. Great wine, excellent service and education. Beautiful tasting room with great outdoor seating. We are excited to get back home to Ohio and get our first shipment. Highest recommendation for those who are interested in great wine, supporting the craft, and finding the new and not-yet-discovered winemakers.

I haven't been a wine club member somewhere in years but we stopped over here on a random day just because and it was a great idea. We were greeted with smiles and room to taste with no reservations. Greg was awesome and gave us what felt like the royal treatment with tastes, education, and friendly chatter. I was so blown away by the wines and the vibes here we joined right then and there. All of the wines we tried were lovely. The Phoenix was one of our favorites. We've been back to take friends and share the love of this special spot. It was equally lovely on our return visit, and we got to meet his wife, Lindsay, who took care of us. It's really nice to have such a gem tucked in on the east side away from the hustle and bustle of big winery energy. Super chill vibes, really nice outdoor seating area. Nice artwork from local artists inside. Local jewelry for sale, just a sweet example of local love. The vibes are friendly, the place is cozy, the wines are delicious. All in all, a win-win.

This was a welcome stop with an even more welcoming host. April is a knowledgeable sommelier, describing the wines and the different varieties while making us feel like family. I would highly recommend this place, the inside tasting room is lovely, and the outdoor space is perfect on a warm day.

Wonderful tasting room in the middle of Kenwood with friendly service and delicious wines at a reasonable price point. Everything we tried was delicious from whites, to Rosés, to reds. All were very clean tasting. Nothing too sweet or syrupy. Nothing too heavy or astringent. The space is cute as well. There is a lot of outdoor seating and enough indoor seating as well if it is too chilly out. It's not as flashy as some of the bigger estates, but that is fine since this place feels a bit more personal and the wines are fantastic and that is really what counts.

Our wine tasting here was our favorite among all the others we have been to during our trip. Although they are smaller than the other wineries, they had the best grenache we have ever had (we dont even like grenache to begin with). We also brought home their Phoenix blend that was very good too. My most favorite part is the very personal service that Jesse and Greg have given us. The ambiance is very relaxing, perfect for couples and group of friends. We can't wait to come back!

Lindsay is incredible! The winery is so cute and the family that owns and operates it are so personable. And on top of that, they have some of the best wines I've ever had!

We had an absolute blast when we visited this past weekend. Setting up an appointment was so easy and Greg was so welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. We were very interested to know the history of the wines and Greg was so accommodating and explained each tasting in such detail. One of the best parts of the experience was when Greg gave us a tag to write our names down and gave us the address to their vineyard where we can pick out our grapevine and name it after us! It was such a thoughtful experience. We were so happy with everything that we became members.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Hamilton tasting room! Excellent wines, reasonable prices, outstanding service, and a great cozy locale. We really appreciated their "outside food OK" policy, as well as their dog-friendly approach. Definitely recommended!
