"Brunch isn’t for weekends only, not at this Alfond Inn looker where locals and out-of-towners converge inside HK’s breezy digs for a daily brunch from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. House-baked breads prove too irresistible, while dishes like the powerhouse oatmeal with coconut milk and chai spice, as well as the blackened grouper sandwich with house mojo mayo, goes beyond the standard fare. On weekends, bottomless mimosas and a build-your-own bloody mary bar keeps things fluid." - Faiyaz Kara

To say the food is amazing is an understatement. The service was nicely paced and we never felt rushed. Our server Brian was gracious with his recommendations and didn't hover over the table, checking in when necessary. I love short ribs and Hamilton's Kitchen's recipe did not disappoint!! It was lucious and fork tender. The sauces were fresh and elevated the whole dish. Everything on the menu looked amazing, and there are so many choices, you shouldn't be disappointed. The experience felt like fine dining without the pretentiousness of most Winter Park restaurants. They have a bar/lounge adjacent to the main restaurant which would make for a nice, casual cocktail hour before dinner. Make an early reservation for dinner so you can walk it off on Park Ave after.

Super delicious delightful meals 10/10 service, taste, flavor, quality, we were originally on our way to walk to Romes Flavor but heard the music from the roof pool top here and wanted to stay for the peaceful vibe. Gorgeous restaurant will definitely be back and have to stay at the hotel as well 🥰🙏🏼 our server was incredibly accommodating and sweet and I will recommend this place to anyone in the area, perfect for a date, birthday or celebration dinner. So stunning

Ate dinner and breakfast here. Amazing in every way. Short ribs are very delicious. Yogurt parfait was the best I've ever had. Farmers breakfast platter has amazing sausage. Highly recommend eating here.

Where food is art, Hamilton Kitchen delivers scrumptious masterpieces. Located at The spectacular Alfond Inn in Winter Park. **Brunch** Key Points: 1. Ambiance: Upscale, cozy with plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Fresh floral arrangements. 2. Service: Prompt, exquisite service. Every staff member was very kind. Our server Joshua was incredible. He has a great personality, menu knowledge, and anticipated our needs. One of the best servers we have had and highly recommend asking for him! 3. Menu and Food: Their brunch menu has just enough variety without being overwhelming. They have fresh, quality choices that are well balanced. 4. Beverages: No drinks listed on brunch menu. Was offered their delicious coffee and they have Pepsi product options. 5. Price/Value: While on the pricier side for breakfast items the quality and service is well worth it. **Final Thoughts:** - Recommendation: Highly recommend the Egg White Frittata and house coffee. Walk through the beautiful hotel lined with artwork for a wonderful end to your experience here! - Rating overall: 4.8

Hamilton’s Kitchen is, without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Every visit here is a delightful experience, marked by exceptional service and a menu that never ceases to amaze. The chef’s creativity shines in each dish, offering a culinary adventure that stands out from other dining options. Whether it’s for brunch or dinner, the food is consistently delicious and satisfying. The live music nights add a wonderful, vibrant atmosphere, enhancing the dining experience. Additionally, the artwork displayed throughout the hotel is a real treat, adding an extra layer of charm to the environment. The beautiful lawn is the perfect spot to unwind, and I absolutely appreciate the choice between indoor and outdoor seating. My years of patronage have been marked by consistently great times, and I’m continually impressed by their ever-evolving menu. It’s a unique gem in our area, and I look forward to many more visits!”

Google
Such a cute, classy, boujee-vibes restaurant! I've been here multiple times and I always have a great experience. It's located inside The Alfond Inn at Winter Park but still has a unique experience. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking can be a little full depending on the time you decide to come. But Winter Park is beautiful so the walk wouldn't be terrible :) The food is not too overpriced and it's always tasty. My go-to is the chicken & waffles! The service here is great, the team is always kind and helpful. Be sure to check out the art around the hotel lobby and the beautiful courtyard outside.

Really good food. We went there for magical dining. I had the mahi and my wife had the steak and fries. She wasn't a fan of the steak and fries, but I loved the mahi dish. What really stood out was the beats on top of goat cheese app, best beats dish ever. Oh I added the mushroom side dish.....wow it's in the pics. Enjoy.

Yelp
There have been some changes here and it's for the better. Have eaten at this restaurant more times than I can count, and the last time was a huge disappointment. Happy to report that the food seems to have taken a step up recently. Above all else, the service by the team, including our fabulous waiter Eduardo, was exemplary. I'm not going to count it against the restaurant that the valet parking service was borderline rude. Needless to say we did not tip. But Eduardo? 25%!! he was so attentive and anticipated our every need what a great guy. We had reservations for Mother's Day brunch. Brunch is the meal we eat most frequently here I was pleased with the new, which had two different white dishes on it. Both of them were phenomenal. We also enjoyed the pastry basket. It's a beautiful restaurant with a lot of charm, but it is very loud. Be prepared to have a tough time hearing. TL/dr: absolutely delish for brunch

Yelp
Hamilton's Kitchen provided a delightful brunch experience for my friend's birthday celebration. The food was not only delicious but also memorable, leaving a lasting impression. The ambiance was enhanced by the lovely music and the abundant natural light streaming in through the huge windows. The convenience of free valet parking and the ease of making a reservation added to the overall experience. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring that every aspect of our meal was thoroughly enjoyable. After brunch, exploring the beautiful hotel surroundings proved to be a pleasant activity, with its inviting ambiance and elegant decor. A stroll along Park Avenue added to the charm of the day, offering a picturesque setting for a leisurely walk. The drinks served were as delightful as they were delicious, adding to the overall satisfaction of the experience. Overall, Hamilton's Kitchen provided a perfect blend of culinary excellence, impeccable service, and charming surroundings, making it a brunch destination worth revisiting.

Yelp
The food was too salty!!! Tastes like they used table salt too. Which is a shame, ruined the dishes, making them taste heavy and metallic. The fries were over salted and so was my gnocchi. The gnocchi was unique, being more like soup with broth. It is a vegan option, the only one they had to offer. I didn't mind that it was soupy since it's winter time and cold, however it is sooo salty. It's all I could taste. I even tried tweaking it by asking for lemons and squeezed several over to no avail. I also chopped up the tomatoes. Nothing could stop the overpowering, overwhelming amount of salt of the dish. The gnocchi was unlike any gnocchi I've ever had, it has the texture of a puffed marshmallow with the flavor of tofu - bland air. The saving grace of the courses was the drunken pear salad. It has butter lettuce, pears, candied walnuts and Gorgonzola. Had a strange but good maroon dressing that was sweet, spicy, and sour. It has a generous amount of cheese. The key lime mousse was more of a key lime cake. I wish I had known what I was in for, it was heavier than the mousse I anticipated. I liked our server, he was chivalrous, addressed me as Bella, good memory. Nice guy from Peru. Beware the cheese and charcuterie board does come with meat even though it doesn't say that in the description. Also, it came with foie Gras. The ambiance was ok, it's in a nice upscale hotel. Nothing too spectacular for the decor, the fountain outside is beautiful. Too cold to sit by it right now. I'd come back for the salad, ask for it to be no cheese when it's warm and sit outside. They're a farm to table restaurant so the menu constantly changes. We came for the menu we found online but it was different when we got to the restaurant.

Yelp
The food was decent. I went for lunch with a group and it was very quiet and cute inside, had esthetic decorations around the hotel and restaurant made it all very enjoyable. The service was amazing! Our server was such a kind man, I wish I remembered his name so I could give him a shout out.

Yelp
Not sure what took me so long to check this place out but I'm glad I finally did. First off the whole vibe of the Alfond Inn and Hamilton's kitchen is awesome! It's hard to describe but I'm looking forward to returning. I was meeting a group of friends for brunch and they had already snagged a table outside. The weather was perfect! Our server was prompt and gave her suggestions on what to order. I started off with a cup of the chicken and sausage gumbo. It was ok. Would have liked more meat. I had a few pieces of chicken and no sausage but it had good flavor. For my main meal I opted for the chicken and waffles. Everything came out hot and fresh. I'm not sure what seasoning they use on the chicken but I'm here for it all day! It gave a Mediterranean/ middle eastern flavor profile. Overall it was a great dining experience and I look forward to coming back for dinner.

Yelp
On a picture perfect-weather Sunday I enjoyed a brunch at Hamiltons Kitchen. As your patronage supports scholarships for students attending Rollins College in Winter Park this lovely restaurant fuses locally sourced ingredients with a rustic farmhouse yet upscale feel in a warm setting. Hamilton's Kitchen was named after the former President of Rollins College from 1925-1949, Hamilton Holt ~ who was quite a philanthropist~ loved to invite people to his home for dinner ~ and had lived just a few short blocks away. I plan to stop in and try for lunch as the menu offers several items that are right up my alley and would love to try. The service was attentive and friendly. One of the better spots for drinks and food. Love the environment and enjoy the artwork that is featured throughout the hotel main areas. This property is only getting better as its expansion is just about over and there are more offerings than ever including additional guest rooms, spa and wellness spaces, communal cafe and event rooms.

Yelp
The restaurant itself is a neatedlly decorated spot located inside of The Alfond Inn. It is advisable to make a reservation for dining inside of the restaurant. However, there is first-come-first-serve seating area just outside of the restaurant but still inside of the hotel). I had brunch here with a friend and we didn't have reservations so we were able to grab searing in the fcfs area. The Host brought over the menus. We noticed that the first page of out menus were different - I had snacks and appetizers and my friend had cocktails on our respective pages. My friend attempted to order the breakfast bread but we were told that they were out of breakfast bread for the day. I decided to forgo the $6 coffee and just have water. I ordered the Rollins Burger with no bun and no fries but with mustard side of 2 fried eggs. The burger came and it had one sunny side egg and no mustard. I received plenty of mustard on the second request. Although I mentioned that my order was incorrect, the server didn't seem to understand why it wasn't correct. I decided to drop the issue and just eat what I had. Overall the burger was decent it just needed salt, thankfully I'm ok with eating sunny side eggs. The atmosphere was pretty laid back and there was the added bonus of lovely live music. Today's experience was just ok but I still think that it's a cool place. I may return to try something different like lunch, happy hour or dinner. Lastly, The Afond Inn offers complimentary valet parking (don't forger to tip) and dining at Hamilton's Kitchen supports Rollins scholarships.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here && the service was wonderful. There is def something magical about this place. The menu has changed since last we came but it was great exploring the new appetizers and mains. Loved everything overall. We really appreciate how easy it was to reserve a table and the attention they gave to my notes on the reservation. Brian attended to us && he was wonderful as well. A must for sure if you're in Winter Park.

Yelp
Just had the most amazing breakfast here on the outdoor patio! Sitting looking out at the garden on a beautiful morning I felt transported to a different time in Florida! The " Hamilton Omelet" was cooked perfect, fluffy an dense, just enough cheddar cheese to enhance the taste, The potatoes with Grilled sweet onions needed no ketchup, and the bacon was perfect! My wife have the avocado toast and it was also perfect! Fresher Orange juice and a cappuccino... This hotel ( The Alfond) is an Oasis.

Yelp
A great place to meet with family visiting from out of town. The food is always good and their brunch menu is laudable and quick, but the service is hit or miss. We've had great experiences, and we've had a few we were disappointed in. I believe they use a training model, so perhaps that explains this inconsistency.

Chris K.

Yelp
I've seen the reviews for this place and I've always wanted to try it. After so long we decided today would be the day to try some brunch spot in winter park and we ended up here. Once again Winter park is a very crowded area, so parking can be a headache since you need to figure out places nearby and walk over to the locations you're visiting. I was able to park in a lot that's about half a block down from the restaurant. Unique thing about this place is it is actually located next to the Alford Inn! Great spot and very nice appearance from the inside and out We were greeted by the guest, servers, and waitresses and all very happy, pleasant, and helpful ! I ordered the Red Rocker which was almost like a margarita , but just slightly smoother and infused with the fruit to make it taste less of the alcohol. Also chose to pair it with my farmhouse platter which was a mixture of an omelet , toast, potatoes and bacon. Overall wasn't as impressed as I expected , but food was good and we all were satisfied. Together it cost about $30, but not too bad for everything overall. The place was nice, but with the ratings of the food at about a 6.5, service a 8 , and then design an 8. I give this a solid 8 for this franchise.

Yelp
Great food! The service was excellent! Our server Go to Hamilton I will be going back.

Yelp
This was my first time at this restaurant and it was wonderful. The location is great and perfect for any type of meet up. I dined in for dinner. I definitely recommend reservations just to be on the safe side. It's located inside of an hotel, there's also complimentary valet parking. The meal that unordered was their Salmon. It gave me Thai vibes which I loved. Also the service was great and our waiter Justin was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The atmosphere was very classy. A lot of little nooks to hang out before dinner or after and the plenty of photo opportunities throughout the hotel and restaurant. Overall I will definitely return and bring even more friends.

Yelp
We recently dined here for a wedding brunch in their private dinning room. The space was very chic and sophisticated! We appreciated the complimentary valet, and the gorgeous outdoor areas too! The food was really good! Some of the items on their menu aren't descriptive enough, which resulted in a lot of people in our group having a surprise when their meal came. The portioning was very fair as well! The prices were a little more on the expensive end, but still very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you were receiving. The service however is what earned a lower rating. Our server started off great ordering drinks, but it was a quick and slippery slope the rest of the service. Meals were not brought out in a timely manner, orders were not correct, and even in an attempt to correct them they still did not make the simple modifications that were being requested. Our water was never refilled, and most people were having Prosecco, which we had multiple bottles in the room but she only came around once, maybe twice to refill some glasses. The server also failed to mention last call for drinks, and explained to us that she was getting yelled at for putting in drink orders still, so if we wanted another drink that we would have to go to the bar ourselves. While none of had an issue with going up to the bar ourselves, the delivery of that was very unprofessional and not what I would expect at a restaurant like this. Overall I would consider coming back here to give it another try. The service was lacking, but maybe coming on a different day ( and getting a different server) might make our experience a better one!

Yelp
I love Hamilton's Kitchen. The food is amazing and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh. I got the lobster mac and cheese was delicious. The outdoor seating area is beautiful as is the Alfond Inn. I will say my pasta was a little over $30 which is a lot for pasta. I would definitely come back here though but only for a special occasion because it is pricy.

Yelp
As a general manager within the restaurant industry, it takes a truly remarkable experience to inspire me to write a review. However, our recent visit to Hamilton's Kitchen exceeded my expectations in every sense, thanks to the outstanding service provided by our server, Jacob. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, Jacob's warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put us at ease. His extensive knowledge of the menu and the restaurant's offerings was truly impressive. He effortlessly guided us through the culinary journey that awaited us, ensuring that each dish he suggested would delight our palates. Jacob's attentiveness throughout the entire evening was impeccable. He anticipated our needs, providing timely refills of our beverages and discreetly appearing whenever we required assistance. His ability to balance being attentive without being intrusive was truly commendable. What set Jacob apart, however, was his unique ability to create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. His calm and composed disposition enhanced our dining experience, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the flavors and ambiance of the restaurant. It's rare to encounter a server who possesses such a natural talent for making guests feel at ease. The culinary journey that Jacob took us on was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish he recommended was a true masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a testament to the culinary artistry of the chefs. Our visit to Hamilton's was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Jacob. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine passion for his craft were evident throughout our entire dining experience. We left the restaurant feeling not only satisfied but also grateful for having encountered such an exceptional server. To anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience, I highly recommend. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable evening, you can trust Jacob to guide you through an unforgettable culinary journey. We will undoubtedly be returning to Hamilton's to relive this incredible experience. Thank you, Jacob, for making our visit truly exceptional. Your dedication to your craft and genuine care for your guests are qualities that deserve recognition. Keep up the outstanding work!

Yelp
Always wonderful to dine here. Though a bit expensive, the service is dependable and the food is very well crafted.

Yelp
Outstanding food. The salmon Benedict is a favorite of mine for sure. Very bright in flavor because of their homemade hollandaise sauce. I order it without the bacon. The picture is my mom's plate. We both enjoy it either way. As for the service l, it's always friendly and warm. It's a dim sweet vibe. Elevated casual like all of Winter Park!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Since my prior review, I have come for dinner many times. The service for dinner is much better than my prior experiences here. Last night we had a group of nine and service was great. We had Stephanie and Fernando assisting, and a third gentleman whose name I did not catch. Food is usually fantastic. However, the short rib was a bit dry and needed some sort of sauce or gravy. It also lacked salt. The kurobuta pork was sous vide but I think they should have seared it just a touch to give it some texture, especially since I declined the apple topping. The filet was the best option- cooked perfectly. The jerk chicken pasta was pretty good as well- a little spice, very creamy, lots of chicken. A couple folks had a salad with shrimp added- the shrimp were enormous!!! Appetizers- crab cakes smelled a bit fishy but tasted good, octopus is always a good option and the crispy pork belly lettuce wraps were definitely crispy and messy to eat lol. The meat and cheese board has too many nuts and I don't like the crackers. Bread service is good. The cocktail list needs updating. Seemed very summery and in need of some fall spice. I had the Alfond Lada, which is light rum, coco Lopez, pineapple juice and a dark rum floater. Afterward, I had a boulevardier and later, a decaf coffee. Coffee and tea service is fantastic. Dessert was good too- we had a densely chocolate mousse style cake and a key lime mousse cake; Both were tasty. Of course we will be back. We always come for dinner, magical dining or just a night out at the bar with dancing . I love how the art in the hotel changes and that the valet is included.

Yelp
4 stars for great Shrimp & Grits but mediocre service. We arrived for lunch and found out that we could only sit inside by reservations only, but we could sit in the bar area and order from the same menu. The bar included live acoustic music which was lovely. Our waiter must have been busy because we were greeted with "What can I get you?" and no pleasantries. My friend asked about coffee and when we discovered it was $6, I decided to splurge on a mimosa at $10. Instead of a drink for $16. They were out of bread baskets so we went straight for food. My friend ordered a burger, no bun and 2 fried eggs on the side. I ordered the shrimp and grits. My friend got her burger with one egg. When she ordered she asked for yellow mustard which they forgot. She asked about the yellow mustard, they brought her several packets. I would have at least thought that for the Hamilton at Alfond they could have put it a small ramikin or at least put the packets in side something instead of just putting packets down in front of her. Oh well. When she questioned the burger, they basically said she got what she ordered. No apologies. My shrimp and grits came out nicely presented and it was delicious! Sweet and garlicky and the shrimp tasted like they could have been rock shrimp. It was delish. Our server never returned to check on us and when we finished he never came around to ask if we were ready for the bill. Valet is complimentary but don't forget to tip! I'll go back for the artwork which was more pleasing than the service.

Yelp
Made a brunch reservations over a month before attending. Our party was originally 6, but we adjusted it to 4 the day prior. To be seated, we waited about 20 minutes after our scheduled 11:00 reservation. The outside area was lovely, but we noticed the tables were at a slant and our first was unstable. We were able to move and continue our brunch. It took a bit to be greeted, but our server was friendly and helped us navigate menu questions. We shared a bottle of Prosecco which was great as we do not like the amount of juice in mimosas. There did not appear to be brunch cocktails. I had the recommended chicken sandwich with Buffalo mozzarella, blistered tomato, and pesto aioli. When it arrived, I sensed something was missing--the cheese! And only one halved cherry tomato. The sandwich and fries were both good, but I felt having the missing ingredients thrown on after made it lose its allure.

Yelp
Truly a Magical Dining experience tonight at Hamilton's Kitchen at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park. My first stop this year for the $40 menu including appetizer, entree, and dessert. I've heard nothing but raves about HK and I can see why. Very easy to book my reservation online and received a text prompt 30 minutes before I was due to arrive. Also lucky enough to find street parking right outside the hotel. For tonight's cocktail how could I pass on the fruity/minty Clara Bow? I could not. My arancini was served piping hot and was just perfect in texture and flavor. The much-touted short rib was tender enough to cut with a butter knife. To finish it all off, a yummy serving of berries (biggest blueberries I've ever seen) with cream. Incredible! I've heard the brunch scene is just as extraordinary and not to be missed. Bravo to a lip-smacking degree!

Yelp
Our first visit and our last. An incredibly disappointing experience. We were potentially running 10 mins late for our reservation, so as conscientious guests, we called ahead. As it turned out, we arrived in time...and they made us wait 15 mins because they had moved our reservation based on our courtesy call. If they just didn't have a table ready that would've been understandable, however, they flippantly told us "we can't seat you until your reservation time." Wow, shockingly poor customer service from 2 hostesses standing around looking bored. We are seated and still optimistic about our evening. We sat for 15 mins before a server came to greet us. He explained that he would not be our server but would take our drink order and our server would be by soon. 10 mins after that, our server showed up; still no drinks from the previous order. My husband wanted to leave but I foolishly insisted we stay. We got a bottle of wine, ordered food and thought our evening was on the upturn; unfortunately, it was not. The appetizers were good (caprese salad + beet salad) but the steak left a lot to be desired. There was an interesting green sauce on the fries that I would've preferred on the side (didn't love the taste and it made the fries soggy). While our server was polite, it was difficult to get anyone's attention when we needed something (our table faced the server station and by appearance 6 servers were standing around talking). For the check, I had to go to the server station to ask for it. Overall I would say the location is nice, the food is mediocre and the service all around needs improvement. My friends advised us against going to Hamilton's Kitchen, based on their own disappointing experiences, but I wanted to judge it for myself. There are better places to go, for certain.

Yelp
Popped in for a mid week lunch before an event in the area and it was a lovely experience. As we were in a hurry and without reservations we sat at the bar and were very well taken care of. The bar ambiance was very quiet and made it easy to hear my spouse and just take a breath before our event. The food and drinks were both wonderful (BLT for me and hamburger for him). In a time when it's difficult to find servers it's important to note that our service was also top notch!

Subhash C.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Our server, Christian, was super nice, polite and very helpful. Made our anniversary a really great experience. Thanks.

Yelp
I did not know this restaurant existed before seeing it listed with other Magical Dining participants. The menu has a variety of vegetarian and pescatarian options. All of the dishes that I had from the Magical Dining menu were outstanding (beets/pasta primavera/butterscotch). My friend had the mahi mahi entree and noted that the fish was dry and the coconut rice seemed lacking in coconut flavor. The servers were nice enough but it took a looooong time for our food and drinks to be ready. Like awkwardly long. Especially since there weren't a lot of people in the dining area. It almost felt like we were being purposely forgotten. Overall, I enjoyed the meal itself. I didn't enjoy the excessive waiting. The decor throughout the hotel is really nice, but I don't feel like that sense of luxury spilled into the restaurant as much as the bar area. The next time I visit, I'll sit at the bar and hope we don't have to wait as long.

Crystal R.

Yelp
Perfect place for Brunch! This restaurant is nestled inside the Beautiful Alfond Inn. The ambiance is amazing and the food was delicious. I decided to go with a heaping portion of French Toast. They have plenty of delicious options to choose from. The service was incredible as well. I would highly recommend making a reservation.

Greg S.

Yelp
Good food and service. The setting it all Winter Park! The menu is a bit limited but the kitchen was flexible. I wanted salmon on my salad but they were out at the time. The kitchen came back with other fish options. That's a how it should be. I had the Waldorf Salad, it was the best I have had outside of New York. Parking is on street but we had no issues. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Every element in Hamilton's Kitchen exudes classic elegance, from the beautiful setting of The Alfond Inn to the blissful symphony of flavors in every dish. The dining room is refined and well appointed, while the service is prompt and attentive. It's very apparent that every dish on the menu has been meticulously designed to present the diner with a harmonious composition of flavors. I started with the Wagyu Beef Chili. It didn't have the traditional favor profile of a chili but that's what made it so wonderful. Bold, rich and sharp. For seconds, I had the chicken served over risotto and capped with artichoke coulis. It was a great and balanced dish. For dessert I tried the butterscotch pudding. It was sumptuous and velvety. The salted chocolate garnish was a good balance to the sweetness of the caramel.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Went there for brunch. Since there was a 25 min wait for a table my husband and I sat at the bar to eat. The service was okay. The building was just beautiful and the food was great. I had the shrimp and grits and added 2 over medium eggs. It was very rich and flavorful. I loved the cherry tomatoes. I wouldn't mind going again mainly to see if the service is better.

Cindy M.

Yelp
Nice place in winter park. Came here for a girls night dinner. We were able to use a Groupon certificate for our meal. They brought out bread and the butter was seasoned and fantastic. The food was out in a reasonable time. Very very tasty! The dessert was a bit sweet for me but the presentation and texture were great. Parking is a little rough, have to do street parking or valet. Overall nice environment for a fancy dinner.

Yelp
I've been to Hamilton's many times for weekend brunch. The atmosphere is absolutely exquisite and my primary reason to leave 5 stars. It's located within the Alfond Inn of which the grounds and gathering areas are gorgeous. Even if you don't eat here highly recommend walking around the property to take in the beautiful scenery. As for Hamilton's, they have great service and a lovely menu. I'd recommend sticking to the classic brunch/lunch items like the farmhouse breakfast or burger. They are a bit less successful with the other menu items like avocado toast and shrimp and grits. They have mimosas, espresso and a full bar. Sometimes live music on the patio. The Spanish guitarist last time I was there was exquisite.

Yelp
This was the 2nd time I came here with my book club. The first time I had the shrimp and grits that were richly delicious. This time I had the almond chicken salad although the chef salad my friend had looked yummy. The chicken was tender, included not too much mayonnaise, crunchy slivers of almonds and juicy dried cranberries. I have a gluten allergy and I was fine with both meals. All the food on the table looked good. I liked that it was a brunch menu. I think they serve breakfast until 2 or so. The waitress was average, the hostesses were not very friendly but the front desk and the valets made up for them. We had a great meeting and went home full of fellowship, artistic memories and good food. BTW, we read "The Masterpiece", fantastic book!

Yelp
What a beautiful location. Perfect for a small intimate wedding, or just your casual weekend brunch. It's highly advisable to make a reservation as you probably won't be able to get a table especially if you want to go on the weekend. It most definitely is quite busy on weekends, when we went there were lots of empty tables, and not enough servers. It did take a little while for our server to come and take our order and bring our drinks. We started off with the avocado toast. There is a generous amount of avocado on the toast, but it was kind of underwhelming and nothing special about. The farmhouse platter was pretty Average as well. The bacon was nice and crispy though. I probably wouldn't get this dish again. The chicken and waffles were delicious. A generous amount of crispy chicken. Could probably do with a bit more syrup on top, but this was the most outstanding dish out of the three we ordered .

Yelp
Dined her for magical dining on a Thursday evening. Chose the lamb meatballs for my appetizer and it was divine. For my main, I chose the Faroe island salmon which was pretty good (not a fan of the broccoli rabe) and for desert I had the key lime mousse (yummy). The cocktail was strong, 1 was enough for me lol Service was alright...the restaurant was mostly empty on the evening that I visited. This restaurant is located in the beautiful Alfond Inn and I'll definitely have to plan a stay.

Yelp
Went here for Magical dining and the food was amazing! The portion sizes were huge and def worth the money. Our waiter was on top of everything and very diligent with whatever we needed. Has options for Indoor and outdoor seating. Will def. Hit up Magical dining again here!

Yelp
I visited Hamilton's Kitchen with family for brunch last weekend and had a nice experience. We started with some Truffle Fries as an appetizer. The fries were decent: lightly crisp on the outside with a soft inside and lightly salted. However, I did not get any truffle flavor. I also had an order of Avocado Toast and Bacon Shrimp & Grits. The Avocado Toast was delicious. Lightly crisp toast was topped with creamy and lightly salty and lemony avocado, crisp arugula and juicy tomatoes. The Bacon Shrimp & Grits was my favorite part of the meal. Very creamy and buttery grits were topped with tender shrimp, crispy bacon bits, crisp scallions, and juicy tomatoes.

Yelp
If 10 stars was an option, that's what I would give. The food is absolutely incredible, but the service is even better. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. The ambiance is lovely. The art in the Alfond was bold, thoughtful, and electric.

Yelp
Beautiful setting in the Alfond Inn hotel. Had dinner last night with friends and the service at first was lackluster. Waited over 20 minute after receiving water to make an appetizer order. There were two servers and about five tables occupied. Picked up after that. Food was okay at best. Two of our guests had to ask for the mashed potatoes and and veggies to be reheated. Filet was over cooked. Lobster Mac and cheese was very good. Airline chicken was dry in several spots. For a $280 meal we expected more.

Yelp
We always come to Winter Park & didn't know about this place until now. Definitely recommending people to come out to eat & drink here. Great atmosphere & great vibe. If u drink to much u definitely will have a place to stay . Most Fridays & Saturday they have live music. Jacob was our server and was very nice. Will definitely be back

Yelp
Had a Saturday night reservation for a group of four at 8:30, and just as another review stated here, we didn't get seated until 8:45. Stephanie was great. She was personable, prompt, and takes amazing group photos(!!!). :p We went here for magical dining and all ordered pretty much the same items among each other. I had the crab & crawfish cake, blackened veal, and butterscotch pudding. Flavors were all amazing and the portions were very filling. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Since I didn't want to dictate the entire itinerary, my friends gave me four different restaurant to choose from and I ended up picking only two - Pizza Bruno & Hamilton's Kitchen. The restaurant is located within a boutique hotel called The Alfond Inn and I was able to find free street parking on Sunday morning. I believe my friend's original intention was filet mignon / short rib, but we all ultimately ordered dishes from the brunch menu instead. Yelp recommendations weren't very helpful this time around and I had the waitress to help me making a decision on what to order. She mentioned their chicken biscuit is one of their best sellers and also recommended grits - so I went with her recommendations. *** Hamilton's Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit (fried chicken, house made biscuit, IPA mornay, sunny side egg, and a choice of side [Bradley's North Florida Grits], $13): Biscuits tasted really bland. Chicken was mediocre at best and it wasn't even spicy at all. The texture for grits could be more smooth, but I actually liked the overall creamy taste. *** You know the experience is a-okay when all you can recall is clean & fancy restroom.

Yelp
I love visiting the Alfond Inn! Such a great hotel in the Winter Park area! Everyone is just so friendly and welcoming! The amazing still art in the hotel is absolutely amazing to observe! Great tasty menu options! You have to see it with your own eyes!

Yelp
Good food, though the grouper sandwich was a small piece of fish. Mediocre service. We came for brunch and the wait staff was moving in slow motion. Sharline was very friendly but never filled our waters, asked how our meal was or brought boxes.

Yelp
Food was ok. Service was friendly... sadly I came during a time when the restaurant was mildly not busy, and the staff had a lot of time to talk and do busy work. It was a Monday, a day for me to be off work after a crazy busy weekend, and I just wanted a Mimosa with my brunch. Well... I could hear my waiter talking to the other support staff about my order. So yeah... not great. Beautiful restaurant tho. Too bad I won't come back after that incident.

Yelp
One of the best birthday dinners I've ever had! My mom and I visited Hamilton's before going to see Hamilton (the play). Yep, we're extra like that. Everything from start (stellar cocktails, apps, and bread service) to finish (the flight of desserts) was simply delicious! The duck was the star of the show. If you're looking for an epic dinner date with ambiance, killer service, and ALLLL the noms-- look no further!

Yelp
- Abrupt, rude welcome at check-in - inexperienced servers who have no support from the manager - - Poorly managed wine list. - Nobody willing to be accountable for bad inventory management and service. There are plenty of options in Winter Park, spare yourself the aggravation of going through the arrogance and insolent attitude of the management, and go somewhere else.

Yelp
We went a little crazy on the appetizers, unfortunately, and were not able to get to the entrees. Its a shame, the salmon looked great. The octopus was just ok because it had too many flavors: it came atop a balsamic glaze, hummus, pickled tomatoes, and a fluffy cheese. I really enjoy the flavor of well cooked octopus and there was just too much going on here, in my opinion. The crab cakes tasted fishy, I do not recommend those. The veal meatballs were good but there were only 2 and they werent too large. The cheese plate was good with white cheddar, gouda, and goat cheeses, prosciutto, salami, jelly, craisins, pecans, pickles, and crackers.
