The food was too salty!!! Tastes like they used table salt too. Which is a shame, ruined the dishes, making them taste heavy and metallic. The fries were over salted and so was my gnocchi. The gnocchi was unique, being more like soup with broth. It is a vegan option, the only one they had to offer. I didn't mind that it was soupy since it's winter time and cold, however it is sooo salty. It's all I could taste. I even tried tweaking it by asking for lemons and squeezed several over to no avail. I also chopped up the tomatoes. Nothing could stop the overpowering, overwhelming amount of salt of the dish. The gnocchi was unlike any gnocchi I've ever had, it has the texture of a puffed marshmallow with the flavor of tofu - bland air. The saving grace of the courses was the drunken pear salad. It has butter lettuce, pears, candied walnuts and Gorgonzola. Had a strange but good maroon dressing that was sweet, spicy, and sour. It has a generous amount of cheese. The key lime mousse was more of a key lime cake. I wish I had known what I was in for, it was heavier than the mousse I anticipated.
I liked our server, he was chivalrous, addressed me as Bella, good memory. Nice guy from Peru.
Beware the cheese and charcuterie board does come with meat even though it doesn't say that in the description. Also, it came with foie Gras. The ambiance was ok, it's in a nice upscale hotel. Nothing too spectacular for the decor, the fountain outside is beautiful. Too cold to sit by it right now. I'd come back for the salad, ask for it to be no cheese when it's warm and sit outside. They're a farm to table restaurant so the menu constantly changes. We came for the menu we found online but it was different when we got to the restaurant.
