Yelp
Hammond's is an excellent homemade ice cream spot with a wide range of novel and interesting flavors. I wish that I had the stomach space to try them all but there were way too many intriguing flavors. Fortunately, they have a very reasonably priced ice cream flight (around $5) that allows you to try 3 different flavors on these cute little cones. You can also try samples of everything if you are uncertain of which flavors you might like. The service was great and friendly. They were very helpful with any questions and didn't mind giving our group as many samples as we wanted. I ended up getting the ube swirl which was a mix of vanilla and ube which had great flavor. It wasn't too sweet and had a nice texture with some ube pulp in there. I was a big fan and for sure will be back for more. The place it self has a great setup. Almost like a Hawaiian tiki vibe. Lots of chairs on the inside as well as some tables and benches outside. Parking is free and easy its a big lot with lots of options.

Yelp
Some of the most gourmet ice cream I've had indeed! This ice cream shop is a gem for the SD community! The location for this shop is in the same plaza where Phil's BBQ is. There are tons of parking spaces in the parking lot so parking is not an issue. Once you walk in, you are greeted by a bunch of different gourmet ice cream flavors to choose from. It was difficult for me to choose, so I had to sample like 10 different flavors before I decided. I ended up going for the banana toffee with the vanilla pandan and the flavors complimented one another so well! Overall, the staff here are very friendly and accommodating. This spot is a great place to cool down, unwind, and get some deliciously refreshing ice cream!

Yelp
Stopped by 30 minutes before closing so we were in and out in a few minutes since it wasn't busy. This place is located in the same plaza as Phil's BBQ so I imagine they occasionally are packed with customers. We ordered the mango sorbet and the POG (passionfruit, orange, guava) sorbet. Both were so good and refreshing! The decor inside was so cute. They had ice cream scoopers as wall decor. They had some seating inside and everything was clean and not sticky. I'd definitely recommend this spot!

Yelp
Love that we can come to this place without having to deal with the North Park traffic/parking :) Great service! Cute interior :) Mint chocolate chip was my fav!

Samantha W.

Yelp
Yummy ice cream! I really enjoyed the vegan chocolate. My husband loves their toasted coconut. The lychee one is really delicious and nice to know it's made with real lychee...it totally tastes like it. Really reminded me of the canned lychee my mom would get and put on ice cream when I was a kid. The location is kind of odd and tucked away but the ice cream is great and there's a good amount of flavors to choose from.

Yelp
Love Hammond's, just wish portions were bigger. I first tried it in North Park, and I'm glad I got the time to swing by this one in Midway right by Phils BBQ (great dessert idea). Stopped by on my day off, and enjoyed a flight of ice creams. No dogs inside, so I chilled in their only outdoor table enjoying the sun. They could really do with more seating options. I had hard time choosing what flavors I wanted, but I went with their Earl Grey shortbread, POG sherbet (a bestseller), and their Blueberry Cheesecake. OMG I could not pick a fave! I'm a hardcore cheesecake gal, so that was probably my fave because it really hit my dessert cravings for something rich. I feel like it's he best of both, I get my cake cravings filled and ice cream needs met. The earl grey shortbread was a close second. SO flavorful, and you can never go with anything earl grey flavored. Their POG was a great palette cleanser since it was so clean, tropical and delicious. I loved them ALL! I love that after you eat at Phil's you can stop by Hammond's to really top off that diabetus meter. But parking is a-plenty, and even though the shop is small it's worth the visit. My fave ice cream spots in SD so far (the list changes, mind you) are Cali Cream, Salt n Straw, and Hammond's. Hammond's is 3rd for me because the scoops are smaller and their ice creams are not as creamy as I usually like my ice creams. But they have A++ flavors, diverse array of flavors, and fantastic idea of tasting ice cream flights.

Yelp
Really good ice cream! We came after pigging out at Phil's BBQ in the same plaza. My son and I both got 4 taster sampler on a sugar cone. I got strawberry cheesecake and purple rain and my son got a mango flavored ice cream as well as cookies and cream. The purple rain ice cream I got was an ube ice cream with white chocolate. It was rather tasty. Not too sweet. I only tasted 1 chunk of white chocolate. I wish there was more but I mean, it was a taster so what could I expect. The strawberry cheesecake was also good. Tasted just like the name. I didn't get a chance to try my son's ice creams but he enjoyed them as well as we both finished them. I'd come back again and sample more ice cream. Definitely a place to go after you've indulged at Phil's. You can get a tasted ice cream so you don't feel too guilty.

Jalen P.

Yelp
This place was pretty good. The ice cream was good, but nothing worth raving about. The workers were nice and were very willing to let us try multiple flavors. Apparently it costs extra to have the ice cream in a cone instead of a cup (I'm talking about the basic sugar cone or cake cone options.) This was not disclosed prior to us purchasing which I didn't appreciate. I personally wouldn't go back here, I'd rather go somewhere else that gives the same quality of ice cream for a cheaper price.

Jeff C.

Yelp
We love ice cream so we made our way over to Hammond's on a Tuesday afternoon. It's located in a little strip mall right next to Phil's BBQ so the parking was good (since it wasn't around a mealtime). They've got a lot of unique flavors here, including a lot of Hawaiian themed ones. They all sound delicious and it's hard to choose! We got banana storm, lilikoi sorbet, and a mango sorbet. All the flavors were good and we enjoyed them! The one bummer for us is there are many flavors that have peanut here. Our kid has a peanut allergy so it limits the places we can go. We asked how they might be able to accommodate the allergy and they could use a new scoop, which we appreciated. However, not knowing which previous scoops were dipped into what, we just had to order something for our kid from a flavor that looked untouched by other scoops.

Alisa B.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this ice cream shop! If you enjoy trying different flavors, you need to try this place. The flights are a great deal and make sharing very easy. Plus the ice cream scoops are so darn cute! The flavors I recommend: + Lychee Cream + Toasted Coconut + Mango Sorbet + Earl Grey with Shortbread Cookies + Lilikoi Cream The Earl Grey with Shortbread Cookies was definitely my overall favorite! Great texture and has a strong tea flavor. I would come back and get it again!

Alixandra E.

Yelp
Omg YUM! I'll be the first to admit I'm not usually wow'd with dessert bc I rarely love having dessert. OMMMGGGG I think I'm obsessed with the raspberry sprite and their cappacuni or espresso (depending the location). The only negative is parking. Their north park location, there's a parking lot around the corner that's pretty cheap but the closest parking. The Point Loma location shares a parking lot with Phil's bbq which is always busy. So the parking lot is easier and closer IF you can get parking. The mini cones are my new favorite. The ice cream is about golf ball size which is perfect for me and for my toddlers. I should shut up about it but it's delicious. I've been to both locations...the Point Loma location 2 days in a row bc I was craving it! I've also inquired about catering bc this would be such a hit at a birthday party! Go and enjoy!

Dylan G.

Yelp
Had a blast trying some different flavors. We got a waffle cone flight and tried 6 different flavors. Each flavor was good in its own right. The shop stays open pretty late too which lets us go whenever the craving hits.

Michelle V.

Yelp
We stopped by for a nighttime dessert craving. Plenty of parking here. It shares a plaza with Phil's BBQ so I imagine cleaning your palate with some ice cream after dinner. Earl grey with shortbread: The earl grey itself was just okay but I was surprised at how short soft the shortbread was. That was my favorite part of the ice cream. The earl grey was not too floral and I wish the flavor stood out more. Coffee: The coffee was tasty. It's not too sweet nor too milky, so you can really taste the coffee itself instead of something like artificial coffee powder. I found both ice creams to be melty and sort of icey, not very creamy. Service was prompt and friendly. It's good for a quick dessert but I wouldn't call it a crown jewel of San Diego's culinary scene.

Justine A.

Yelp
I loved this location with its easy access parking. I hope future locations will be near the coast.

Kristina B.

Yelp
Had their mini flight of 5 flavors, and everything I tried was SO delicious! My favorites were Macadamia and Honey Lavender :) Would definitely try other flavors our next visit to SD from the Bay.

Ashi C.

Yelp
We promised the kids, we'll take them for ice cream. Quick google search near sea world lead us to this shop. It was our first time at Hammonds. Both the kids had usual vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. Actually , their ice cream was called Tahitian vanilla bean which had great bran flavor We tried a flight of 6 flavors. If you know us, we always have trouble deciding what we want to eat. My husband and I love trying a little bit of everything. The flights were perfect for us. They come in mini cones and you can pick either waffle cones or sugar cones. I would recommend this place for kids and adults. Come and try out their unique flavors.

Anna-Lisa D.

Yelp
Awesome spot with amazing flavors! Cute little shop with plenty of parking, lots of seating inside too. Loved the wall of old ice cream scoops! We tried a lot of flavors and I ended up getting a flight of black sesame, Thai tea, and matcha with white chocolate. Everything we tried was delicious! The black sesame was one of my favorites

Jenny G.

Yelp
The ice cream was so good!! The flavors that we tried (Cookie Monster, Lychee, and Ube) were perfectly sweet and really tasted like their names. Cookie Monster and Ube were so creamy to the point of being stretchy! Lychee wasn't as creamy as the other two, but tasted exactly like the lychee fruit. The ice cream was super fragrant and there were pieces of lychee.

John C.

Yelp
Glad they allow free samples and that the ice cream is shipped from Hawaii and has some amazingly delicious and interesting flavors! Great customer service and cozy atmosphere and will for sure come back!

Angela C.

Yelp
Stopped by for dessert after dinner at Phil's BBQ (in the same plaza). Their menu changes daily, but all the flavors sound delicious! My kids got a medium sized ice cream to share (comes with two scoops). My husband and I ordered a flight of two, which is two mini scoops on little cake or sugar cones. I got the earl grey with shortbread and he got chocolate (his usual). All the flavors we tried were creamy and delicious. Service was friendly, and they didn't mind us trying a few samples before committing to flavors. Cute decor too!

Rachel C.

Yelp
What a GREAT find!!! We went to Phil's BBQ for dinner, and discovered this ice-cream place - interesting flavors and the vibe was quite pleasant. When I first looked online, I got "sticker shock" wondering what ice-cream would cost $11.95, so I was skeptical going in at first. But thankfully, that was just the pint size, ha ha. If you ordered in person, it's actually even less than that! They gave you a lot of options, besides many flavors. Looks like flavors are also seasonal, so not everything is always there. The options included the different sizes of ice-cream, but my favorite was having a "flight" option - mini cones so you can try more flavors!! My husband & I each took a flight of 3 mini cones - so we ended up with 6 different flavors, and it wasn't too much! Perfect size for after a big hefty meal, LOL! Flavors were great - with our friends, we were also able to try more - My favorite one was the Earl Grey with Shortbread Cookies flavor (long name right?) and my husband really liked the Ginger & Caramel (who knew they would work together?!). Only one staff person working, but it wasn't too crowded. When we head down to SD again, I'll definitely go check out other flavors!

Amy T.

Yelp
I came here since I was in the area and it was a cute place. They had a lot of flavors to choose from but I went with a sorbet since I was going to dinner right after. I went with their P.O.G. Sorbet which was a passion fruit, orange, and guava sorbet flavor. I thought it was a pretty good sorbet. The only thing is that the guava flavor was pretty overpowering so I couldn't really taste the other flavors that was suppose to be a part of the sorbet but it was still a really good sorbet. I definitely want to come back and try some of their other flavors.

Audrey C.

Yelp
This is our first time at this location (didn't know there was one here!) And love it even more than the one in North Park cos 1. EASY PARKING and 2. It's in the same lot as Phil's BBQ so it's a great place to go after eating at Phil's. Hehe They have so many flavors on rotation, so you'll always be able to find something to try.. But the usual story is trying to minimize the number of flavors you DO wanna try! They have options for "cake" cones or waffle cone flights, or getting full size cups and cones. All their cones always tasted fresh/crisp! Our usual faves are Thai Tea and Kona Coffee chocolate chips. Never tried a flavor I didn't like. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will def be coming back!

Kim L.

Yelp
I absolutely love their ice-cream flight. It's a genius idea for people like me who can't even finish a cup of ice-cream but love to try a variety of different flavors. Friendly service.

JiaJia T.

Yelp
Cute concept of ice cream flights. Not very economical but great marketing because who doesn't like mini cones of a variety flavors. I tried the lychee cream, Lilikoi, pistachio, and black sesame. Lychee cream has subtle lychee flavor but delicious and pistachio was great. Lilikoi was strong and there was no mistake that it has passion fruit flavor. All in all good ice cream but the flights were too expensive for the portions.

Alejandro E.

Yelp
Really good size's and flavors, the service is 10/10 they give u many examples to try, i would definitely recommend this places and come back again

Ann Q.

Yelp
I was right to have bookmarked this place! Absolutely can't recommend enough!!! They make their ice cream in house all influenced by their trip to Hawaii! We tried the 4 taster sampler on cake cone Summer Berry sorbet - nice and tart, a tad too sweet for me Orange sorbet - wow this was deliciously creamy and mango-y tasted exactly like a nice ripe mango! Earl grey with biscuits - my absolute favorite of the 4. Lite Earl grey spice in sweet vanilla and the biscuits added great texture Strawberry cheesecake - this was a close second, hands down one of the best strawberry cheesecake I've ever had! There are tons of unique flavors to try! You can ask for free samples or why not just try their tasters instead?

Anne S.

Yelp
Love their ice cream cone flights! I recently visited hammond's for the first time since covid and noticed they changed how they do their ice cream flights and I ain't mad, THEY'RE SO CUTE, as you can see in the photos provided. My all time favorite is their Tahitian vanilla followed by their Thai tea. I recently started liking matcha more and more and their matcha cream is just so great. They offer vegan/dairy friendly options so that everyone can enjoy without worry. This location has way better parking than their North Park location and also has Phil's BBQ right next door. The staff is very friendly and welcoming!

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Hammond's was in the same plaza as Phil's BBQ so we stopped by to get some ice cream after dinner. The workers were really nice, and I was able to try a bunch of different flavors. We ultimately chose to get 1 scoop of White Tiger which has white chocolate with oreos and peanut butter. Personally, I love these types of ice cream shops with a couple of basic flavors as well as unique flavors to try. I would recommend checking this place out, especially if you're in the area!

Natalia M.

Yelp
such a cute little spot in Point Loma. lots of flavors and they do little ice cream flights! the ice cream was delicious. I got the raspberry vanilla (loved!), the banana chocolate (banana always overpowers anything it's with but this was nice and balanced!), and the vegan chocolate (perfection!) I loved all the variety and how helpful the stuff was. This place is also incredibly priced. Most places are $8+ for one person and a scoop. Ours totaled $10 for both of our ice cream flights. I'm glad my friend told me about this place because I'll for sure be back!

Samuel T.

Yelp
Nice flavored ice cream. We tried the Banana Storm in a cone and Lychee cream in a cup. The flavor of both ice creams was very good. I do wish the flavor of lychee was stronger. Though, the lychee flavor was noticeable. The banana storm had a delicious flavor. The banana and strawberry puree worked together perfectly. I like how both icecreams were not overly sweet. Though, the texture for both was more icy than creamy. There were little shards of ice in the lychee cream. I do prefer it if it was more creamy. The ice cream cone just tasted like a grocery-bought ice cream cone. The quality was ok. Again the ice cream did have bits of ice shards in them. The cone is somewhat of a downer as it was just a store-bought ice cream cone. The icecreams looked ok. I assumed lychee would be white, but is pink somehow. The banana storm is very appealing to the eye. The portion is honestly fairly small in terms of the price. Again, they used a cheap cone. It is also fair to mention that the cone is very small. A single scoop will bring you to around $6, and again the portions are small. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. They were happy in letting us try the flavors. They were quick to scoop out the ice cream and give us our order. The store looked very nice inside. It gives off a modern and young vibe. There are many spots in the store you can take pictures of your ice cream with a nice background. They have an aesthetic decor and theme. The inside is very eye-catching. The place was overall very clean. There is good parking because of their big parking lot. Great flavored ice cream.

Jocy C.

Yelp
I went to Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream back in Q4 2020 (November, I think) for take out. I really love Ice Cream and so does the man friend I'm seeing, so here we are! Ice Cream Date during Pandemic. Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream has a ton of flavors to choose from. According to their website, they specialize over 200+ flavors of Tropical Dreams super premium, Hawaiian ice cream and sorbet. Super premium means it is handmade with 18% butterfat, adding a rich and creamy texture. Their website also notes fun flavors like Tahitian Vanilla, Chocolate Coconut Macadamia Nut, Lilikoi Sorbet, Peanut Butter and Guava Jelly to name a few. After looking around, I decided to try their Earl Grey flavor on a Waffle Cone. NOM NOM NOM! Delicious!! ENJOY!!

Paul B.

Yelp
Very unique tasty different flavor ice creams. Funky combinations that work! They had large cones to small. Bowls to waffles. We got blueberry cheesecake. It is delicious blueberry with bites of cheesecake, and butter pecan, which is buttery flavored pecan ice cream in one cup. The other was strawberry lychee, and it was very tasty. Bites of strawberries and lychee pieces. One of my favorites.

Rolaine C.

Yelp
So many yummy flavors, and unlimited amount for you to try! Granted not every flavor was my favorite, but I really did appreciate the variety. I loved the ice cream flight option! You have the decision to choose either sugar or cake cones.

Lahela P.

Yelp
I have been wanting to check out this shop for a while. We finally got a chance after we went shopping at a store in the same center. We bought a flight. But wow! The flavors were so delicious and the texture, so smooth. We tried: Kona Coffee POG Sorbet Salted Caramel Strawberries n Cream Ube Macapuno Chocolate Coconut Macadamia Nut They were all soo good. The POG tasted just like the juice I drink every time I'm back home in Hawaii. For those that don't know, POG stands for Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava. It's a very popular mix in Hawaii. Ube Macapuno was a smooth creamy mix of the sweet yam and coconut. The others are self explanatory. I definitely recommend checking this place out. It looks like a great place to bring a date and try different flavors. Giving you something to talk about. They have vegan options as well. Which is always good for people like my husband who can't handle dairy too well. Now all I have to decide is what flavors to try next!

Annemarie P.

Yelp
I had heard great things about Hammond's but I had no idea there was a location near me in Point Loma or I would've checked this one out a long time ago! The store was totally empty when I visited on a weekday evening in April. Maybe it's more popular when it's warmer out. There were some classic flavors and a lot of unique flavors to choose from. There were a couple different kinds of vanilla - my boyfriend went with a green vanilla (I forget the exact name of it but I had never seen it before) that had a nutty flavor to it. They have some vegan ice creams which was great to see - the vegan dark chocolate had a great, rich flavor but a slightly ice crystal-y texture which can be hard to avoid without adding dairy so I don't fault them for that. I also got a scoop of the earl grey which was delicious and tasted just like the tea. And it had pieces of shortbread which had the perfect level of sweetness to balance out the tea flavor. It's a pretty strong flavor though so I wouldn't recommend pairing it with another flavor. I definitely want to come back for a huge ice cream flight to try their other flavors!

Somi J.

Yelp
Another miss... I have found the ice cream that I did not like. WHAT. Unfortunately, there was no tasting. So you had to go with your gut. They had interesting flavors that is not common from other places. Blueberry cheesecake, lychee cream, earl gray with short bread, ube and lot more. Since I could not taste those beforehand, I went with my safe choice, pistachio cream and lychee cream. So disappointed in their flavors. Lychee didn't have much taste, very light. And for pistachio, I couldn't even finish the rest. It was one of those where you could eat little bit at a time or you would get sick of the flavors. Unfortunately this place was a bust.

Jill L.

Yelp
YUM! such delicious flavors! My favorite was Cookie Monster !!! Love the blueness of it. It's just cookies and cream but so much more fun cuz it's blue haha. I love the concept of the flight where you can get 6 mini cones of whichever flavors you like. Great to share with friend(s)! There is seating outside and inside.

Jessy H.

Yelp
Great place for ice cream! Their ice cream was perfect texture and they have a variety of flavors to choose from :) The worker was nice and let me try out a couple flavors before deciding. Had a scoop of Vanilla Pandan and another scoop of Thai tea; both were delicious and not too sweet. Definitely will come again!

Christal M.

Yelp
When you can't travel anywhere due to the pandemic, the easiest way to escape is with an ice cream flight! Hammond's is known for their mini ice cream flights, which is a ingenious way to allow people to enjoy multiple flavors at one time. And trust me, with so many unique flavors you'll have a hard time choosing. But if you're a one flavor kind of person, you can get regular scoops, floats or sundaes as well. I chose to do a flight of 6 mini cones ($9.50) and upgraded to waffle cones ($1.50). But you can create a flight with as little as 2 flavors or as many as 32 flavors. They're normally served upright in a plastic holder but due to Covid, they're being served upside down on a disposable plate. Out of the 6 flavors I tried (Apple Caramel Pie, Butter Pecan, Chocolate Reese's, Mint Oreo, Strawberry Cheesecake and Lychee Cream) I was most impressed by the Lychee Cream. I had never seen lychee ice cream before and it tasted just like the fruit. Although you can't eat inside currently, it's a cute shop with ice cream scoop decor on the walls. It's worth checking out if you want to indulge in some premium Hawaiian-inspired ice cream.

Christian E.

Yelp
Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream offers a delightful experience that sets it apart from other ice cream parlors. The ambiance is charming and nostalgic, with a vintage-inspired decor and cozy seating that adds to the overall enjoyment. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff who go above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. The ice cream itself is the star of the show, with a vast array of inventive flavors made from high-quality ingredients that result in exceptionally creamy and indulgent treats. Whether it's their signature sundaes or handmade waffle cones, Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream delivers a sweet experience that is truly unmatched.

Stephane J.

Yelp
Found this hidden gem on Yelp. So glad we found it! This place is clean and the ice cream was amazing. We got the two POG sorbet, chocolate macadamia nut, chocolate brownie, raspberry sorbet, and coconut almond caramel. I especially liked the chocolate brownie. It was so decadent and rich that had chewy chunky brownie pieces. As we ate in the car, we noticed that the young worker was very diligent and cleaned the ice cream counter glass. He could have gone on his phone or just sat around, but he didn't. He took the initiative to keep up the shop! We will definitely be back when we visit SD again. Thank you!

Brittany W.

Yelp
No samples were allowed due to COVID, but the staff was super helpful in making recommendations. I ordered the raspberry sorbet in a waffle cone and it was light and refreshing. There were plenty of seating options both inside and out and the staff worked really hard to make sure the tables were clean. It wasn't the most memorable or unique ice cream shop I've been to, but I would go back if I were in the area and try other flavors!

Shirley L.

Yelp
It's not as good as my first time. After one year of yearning to go back to San Diego so I can stop by this ice cream place... I was disappointed the second time. I ordered the Lychee ice cream but it wasn't as flavorful.. not sure why. I ordered lemon.. that was okay. My husband ordered some kind of banana and I didn't like it.. too much banana for me

Allison C.

Yelp
We are usually so full after Phil's that I've never noticed this place but glad we saw it today! On a hot day after a great meal, this is the perfect pallet cleanser. Cute little shop and they offer flights as well. What a fun way to try more flavors. We were able to sample which is nice. I opted for the lychee cream and my niece got the raspberry sorbet. Both were refreshing and tasted like the fruits. The lychee cream also had little pieces of lychee in it which was a nice touch. $4.75 for a small cup. SYOY!

Naomi G.

Yelp
If you need to hit that ice cream craving head to Hammonds! They have so many flavors it was hard to pick. I went with a mini ice cream flight of 3 since I was craving ice cream but didn't want a giant scoop of one flavor. I ended up choosing Oreo cheesecake with graham cracker crumbs, butter pecan, and Amos island (white chocolate with cookies). They were all really tasty, creamy, and perfectly sized. I only wish I got a full flight of 6! I'll definitely be back another time to try out some new flavors!

Ramona G.

Yelp
I love Hammond's! I first went to this place 4 years ago for the UYE (Unofficial Yelp Event) soft opening! I've been to all the Hammond's locations and I can vouch that they have some of the best tasting ice cream around! I brought my sister here earlier this month since she was visiting from out of town. I love how they have mini sugar cones so you can try out a bunch of flavors without feeling too guilty. Their flavor options are extensive and so yummy! My favorites are their Pineapple Coconut Cream and any of their Kona Coffee flavors. Mmm I want some ice cream now!

Windy M.

Yelp
We love this place!! Flavors are always so unique and tasty. We also like their flight options. Gives you the ability to have a gazillion scoops and try all their interesting flavors. Today we went for lychee, strawberry cheese cake, mint chocolate chip, pistachio, and matcha. My daughter dropped her scoop of lychee and they were so nice enough to replace it.

Evelyn C.

Yelp
Hammond's is my favorite go to ice cream in SD. I always have to stop for a scoop when in town. The ice cream never disappoints and the service is always great. Employees are always helpful and welcoming!

Jane J.

Yelp
Wow!! I just happened to be in the neighborhood and had to find an ice cream shop for my daughter and boom what a cute spot I found! The vanilla ice cream is so yummy with like rich gelato taste and heavy texture then light after taste, people were so welcoming and friendly, and I'm a fan of their hip hop R&B music, clean and nice bright inside with tables with little cute plants and a few outside tables, definitely recommended for a date or family outing:)
