Hana Hawaiian BBQ

My friend and I had the best experience here and truly couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. The customer service was excellent—everyone was friendly and welcoming—and the food came out super quickly, which was such a plus. We ordered a little bit of everything and not a single bite missed. To start, the drinks were perfect: I had the taro bubble tea (so smooth and creamy) and my friend had the strawberry fruit tea, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. For appetizers, we shared chicken and beef musubis, crab rangoons, and a spicy crab roll—each one fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. For our mains, I had the Hawaiian Chicken Platter with rice and macaroni salad, and it was comforting, hearty, and packed with flavor. My friend ordered the mixed platter with beef, spicy chicken, and short ribs, and every protein was tender, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. As if that wasn’t enough, they surprised us with two Ramune sodas—lychee and strawberry—which were such a fun and tasty touch. They also let us know they offer party trays for groups, which is such a great option and something I’d absolutely try for a get-together. Amazing food, fast service, and thoughtful hospitality—Hana Hawaiian BBQ is a must-try, and we’ll definitely be back! 🌺🍱

I finally got to try their food. The Hawaiian chicken was fresh and filling. My boyfriend got the BBQ platter. I wish I would've got that. The meals were amazing. The seasoning was just the right amount. The flavors were mouthwatering. Everything hit the spot. We met the owner Ming, who was so down to earth. He talked to us about the history of his business and continuous ideas he creates to keep the menu wanting more. He even gave us a sample of his creation. The place was immaculate. The menu appeared endless.

Saw this place on TikTok so I knew we had to check it out. Very clean restaurant, employees were very nice!! We got the Hana Spicy Chicken and BBQ Beef. Everything is very well seasoned and tender. Mac salad was good! Definitely can get full off of a portion. Passionfruit tea was great and I love that you can choose the sweetness level

I went here with some friends to try their food as we saw the advertisements on instagram. The food was great! I ordered the shrimp with rice and broccoli with a side of coleslaw and a strawberry drink. I loved the coleslaw and the strawberry bubble tea, they had a lot of flavor and tasted amazing. I also ordered the ice cream mochi which was delicious. Service was good. They gave us a some kind of alarm system that whenever it rings, it means your food is ready, which was pretty cool.

This is my second visit. The food is so tasty! The chicken is melt in your mouth. My husband got the BBQ shrimp this time and he thought they were amazing. We look forward to you coming back again real soon

I came across a video that showed this place had fried crab rangoon and I really wanted to try theirs. We live within walking distance, so we picked up 2 orders of fried crab rangoon and brought them home. Absolutely, the best fried crab rangoon I have ever had. The pastry was so flaky, so crispy and absolutely delicious! The filling was delicious too; hubby noted a spice or something, in the filling, that makes them taste different than most fried crab rangoons. I noticed it too, but I actually liked the taste. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the sauce. I am used to a sweet and sour sauce or a dark red sweet sauce when I buy these and this sauce really didn't have any flavor. I didn't really like it and neither did my husband, but we both loved the rangoons! Maybe they would consider changing the sauce, or offering more sauce options, but I would still buy these again and maybe just buy my own sauce if there aren't any other sauce options. Overall, delicious and I will be back for more!

Food is good. Seems to be a mix of Korean style meat options also, which kinda matches the sweetness of Hawaiian marinades. If you told me it was a Korean BBQ place, I would believe it. I wished the macaroni cup was filled to the top with another scoop. I do think a side order of something extra is necessary to get full here. I added the hot chicken bites, which were great, but not face melting hot, although it looked like it was. Would like some chopsticks, because those plastic spoon and forks were kids sizes. You get your food in to-go boxes, even if you dine in, which was unexpected from the menu pictures. There is no self-serve sauces, napkins, or water.

Definitely a place worth visiting, food was great, not a fan of the macaroni salad tho, will be going back for sure. Ordering inside is a lil wait but they got a table made of pennies so look for your birth year penny to kill some time. Place is very well kept

Decided to try a brand new place near my store and ordered some takeout for a quick pickup. I got the hot spicy chicken bites and they are excellent. wonderful texture plenty of garlic, little sweet, a little spice. chicken perfectly cooked and lots of chicken for the price. I would absolutely come back and try some other things, also very efficient and the staff was very friendly. Plus it smelled wonderful as soon as you walked in. Great stuff.

Ok for the discounted price. I got $6 BBQ chicken plate. I got like 3 or 4 pieces of chicken. but I didn't like the cabbage it tasted bland. rice was good and fresh. I got fries over macaroni salad. But portion was small. BBQ chicken didn't taste like it had any bbq sauce. Not sure if I would try again. Needs more flavor.

Need to stop undercutting their customers there's no need to give small portions in order to have more profit. Ridiculous. unprofessional. Underwhelming. I hope things are better by the time big ole me comes around. TLDR; small portions and bleak flavor.

Food was too sweet for me. I'm more of a savory eater. Service was prompt for a called in order. The decor is nice. Parking lot is small.

My first time getting take out from this restaurant and it was not worth it. I got the chicken combo and crab rangoons. My plate had two small pieces of chicken breast which was underwhelming. Another Hawaiian Bbq spot in Center City Philly has the same prices, more options, and overfills the plates. Would not recommend Hana.

Went a second time and ate inside. The restaurant is clean and staff friendly. Food was prepared quickly and still tasted pretty good. Passion fruit tea was ok.

Friendly staff, fast service , very clean. Food was great. I definitely recommend the spicy chicken and the mac salad. I got a little of everything, portion was great. Nothing was a disappointment. The food was even packed nice and secured.

I was very disappointed with the food. The elbow macaroni salad was overwhelmingly mayonnaise and barely a full serving--though that may have been for the best, as it ended up in the trash. We also ordered the strawberry fruit drink with no ice, but it was completely watered down and had no real strawberry flavor. It honestly tasted like it had been diluted. Overall, the food and drinks were both lacking in flavor.
