I was so glad I finally checked out this spot; the atmosphere alone is fantastic! It has a genuinely cool vibe—perfect for a relaxed dinner, especially if you snag one of the comfy booths. The entire experience was made even better by the staff, who were consistently friendly and attentive throughout our meal, ensuring everything was served hot and fresh. I tried their brilliant Half-and-Half Ramen option, which is a perfect way to sample a couple of their top offerings, like the Kara Miso and Black Tonkotsu. The broth was flavorful, rich, and had the perfect amount of seasoning and spice, making it some of the best ramen I've had in a while. It’s clear they put a lot of care into their bowls. But what really blew me away were the smaller plates. The sweet and spicy chicken is absolutely incredible and a total must-order—I could honestly visit just for that! Their takoyaki and the chicken karaage were also delicious and perfectly crisp. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. If you're vegetarian, they also have some great options, including a delicious curry and a vegetarian ramen. This place is consistently fresh, flavorful, and a great time. I highly recommend stopping by; I'll definitely be back soon!

So first time going. We waited outside because we thought the door was locked and the workers didn't make any gestures to come in. The waitress was very nice. The Ramen soup we got was delicious. Reasonable prices.

Really cool spot with some good eats. Service was very quick and the atmosphere was great! Will say it's a tad expensive for lunch, but this place would be great for a date night. Highly recommend!

Place looks and feels cool, food is underwhelming. Your place has ramen in the name and the best things to eat aren’t the ramen. Their sweet and spicy chicken is amazing, ramen is very ok, the meat in the ramen feels like its just boiled and unseasoned when thrown in it, no broiling it no seasoning. Broth feels rushed. Beers are a bit overpriced unless you go in happy hour, their takoyakis are really good. Just don’t expect really good ramen if you’ve had amazing ramen before.

Ordered Ramen here and asked if the pork could be taken off of it due to dietary restrictions. The waitress adhered to my request but failed to inform me that there was also pork in the broth. I didn't find out until I went back and the waiter told me. And unfortunately for me, that was pretty good Ramen. The eggs were also amazing. But I think they are also soaked in broth with pork in it :(.

After having a roller coaster of a day, I decided to come here to eat because it’s always caught my eye on the street. I was helped immediately, my server was so nice. And then I get my food, and it was absolutely delicious. I almost cried (maybe cause my day, maybe cause I’m pregnant) but ether way omg. Will. Be. My. New. Spot.

We tried their spicy chicken broth ramen and few appetisers and a rice bowl , they are soooo delicious, the place has cool vibe to it , the staff was friendly, and the service was really great

My daughter got The Chicken Ramen, it was great tasting, food came out fast and the service was good. The ambiance in the restaurant was nice as well, chill vibes.

I have been to another Hanabi location before and this one was just as good. The location is clean and well-maintained and the staff did a good job making sure everyone's drinks stayed full and we were happy with our service. I love the seafood ramen, it's my favorite thing on the menu. It has a nice variety of ingredients that are all good quality. I am very pleased that we live near a Hanabi, I'll be back for sure!

I love trying ramen spots that have tan tan on the menu. This broth has a lot of depth, different than others and worth trying. It's spicy, the ground pork is flavored well. The ambiance eating there is laid back, the servers are bubbly kind people. Ordering to go is packaged conveniently, uber eats ordering-- the broth is still hot when it makes it to the house. I recommend giving it a try!

The Hanabi restaurant in Denton offers excellent service and a great ambiance. It's a fantastic place for a date if you're in the mood for ramen. The only issue the prices have increased (but that's obvious in this economy ), and the menu prices listed on Yelp are not accurate (the Tokyo Tonkotsu is $14, not $9). I only had the Tokyo Tonkotsu compare to other Hanabi, it was similar. Overall tho I love the ambiance and I had a great time here

The ambiance is really chill and the decorations are really pretty upon walking in. Christian was an extremely kind, patient, and thorough server, thank you for a great time! All of our food came out in 12 minutes after ordering, which surprised me because I came in a group of 10 people. The takoyaki was delicious, crispy on the outside while soft and hot on the inside! I got the tan tan men, which was peanut-y and extremely thick/creamy. The gyoza is crunchy and delicious, and the tonkotsu was light and the meat is soft. Great place!

The cold season is here and you know what that means... ramen time!!! it was pretty busy when we got there, but the weight staff did see us down pretty quickly and got our orders pretty quickly. They were pretty friendly and answered any questions that we had about anything on the menu. I tried the spicy Ramen and it was really not spicy but overall good taste.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner. It wasn't busy. We were greeted and seated right away. The food came out pretty quick and the spicy ramen was really good. I also enjoy their fried squid for an appetizer. Don't bother ordering their shrimp shu mai....its definitely frozen from krogers or something. But I'd definitely come back for more ramen.

We wanted some tempura and the waiter told us there were 6 pieces of tempura on rice that they have, it was only 3 small pieces. They don't offer beef noodles, but they had beef on rice, and we just mixed that beef with our noodles. Also, they don't have udon or anything other than ramen. It's definitely more tailored towards college students.

The best raman place in the DFW area! We consider this our " secret meeting place at work" great atmosphere, good food, and staff is amazing

imma be so fr rn, the black garlic tonkatsu was not flavorful enough. the broth was too highly diluted. the ramen base seemed as though it wasn't properly made with consideration. as though it was a premade base. i've got beef with the toppings too. the chashu pork was the blandest, whitest, chashu pork meat i've experienced in any ramen dishes. no flavor, not properly cooked. the veggies toppings also lacked sustenance and flavor, quite bland as well. the ajitama egg was not split correctly nor properly marinated. there was no fish cake either. not even one. overall, i would have to say this would be at the bottom of my list in regards to ramen. as someone who has experience in a ramen shop, and have also tried various ramen dishes throughout the world, i am deeply disappointed. i'm sorry, do better. do not come here if you are japanese, you will be disappointed.

My daughter's eye has been on this place for awhile now. When I rolled into town to visit, she decided to take me here to finally check it out. After walking in, we were immediately greeted and seated. There is a barcode on the table that we scanned to view the menu. They have a variety of dishes to choose from for everyone. We ordered the fried rice as an appetizer, and boy let me tell you, the fried rice is poppin... it's very flavorful and delicious. My daughter had a spicy bowl of Ramen, and I initially had a bowl of Curry Raman. The Curry Raman was very flavorful, but the broth was very thick like gravy. I really tried to like it, but I just couldn't get over the texture after a few bites. I never like to make a big fuss when I dine out, but I just couldn't eat it. Reluctantly, I asked our server if I could exchange my Curry Ramen for the Veggie Ramen. He was very kind and understanding about it. My Veggie Ramen was piping hot and on the table within 5-7 minutes. It had a very unique, earthly flavor to it. After a few bites, I couldn't eat anymore of it. However, my daughter tasted it and loved it. She said she was going to take it and eat it for lunch the following day. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was pretty awesome. I really felt transported to Japan while we sat and ate. Staff is excellent, responsive, friendly, and service is fast. My daughter absolutely loved this place and said this is her new hotspot. Highly Recommended!

I've been coming here for a couple years now and the service and food quality is consistently five stars! I also modify my order more than your average person and they are always kind, helpful, and know how to help me order what I want.

Love this place. I always order the vegetable ramen. We have eaten in and have ordered takeout, both great.

Watching them microwave our dishes wasn't encouraging. We ordered the karrage don and miso ramen. The chicken was greasy and rubbery and the miso broth tasted fishy and foul with overcooked noodles. I never ask to remove items, but after two bites, our stomachs just could not stand to eat anymore. Pretty disappointed.

I've eaten at plenty of Ramen places. This one ranks pretty low. I went with a coworker during lunch. There weren't alot of people there but at the same time, at 70+ degrees, I wouldn't expect many people wanting Ramen! It took awhile to place orders but when someone finally came by, we started with Edamame, shrimp shumai, and the fried squid legs. The Edamame was a little overcooked in that some of the pods were a bit wiggly or soggy-ish and alot were split open. The shrimp dumplings and squid legs were hot and very good. My friend ordered the vegetarian Ramen while I ordered the seafood vegetable Ramen. We both agreed that the Ramen was very bland. She added a spicy paste to hers and said it helped alot. The price point for the food was good but I wouldn't visit again. The people working there were nice but the food quality and the service needs improvement.

Everything I've had here is delicious. This place is a go to favorite. The atmosphere inside and top notch too. Highly recommend the gyoza and karikara chicken.

I came in on a whim alone, right off the bat the staff is kind and caring. I ordered gyozas, the tonkotsu ramen, and a Sapporo (on tap! Score!) Everything was reallly, great! The whole restaurant from the window to the.... W Table, got cha! Was extremely well done. I like the wood benches. It was semi-romantic with the right amount of privacy and openness. Just watch where you're going pulling in! The parking lot can be a little confusing to get into with one way streets. It's totally worth it though! You'll forget all that road rage once you eat

It feel like you are transported somewhere in a Japanese dojo. The waiters are nice and the food comes out delicious! My personal favorite has always been the Kara Miso. Picture (from top left moving clockwise): tan tan men, half and half of Kara miso and black tonkotsu, tan tan men, Kara miso.

Amazing food, service, and ambiance! Came here around 3 months ago because I had a craving for ramen and this place did not disappoint. All of the flavors were on point and I left satisfied and happy!

The shoyu ramen has milk product in it somewhere. Heed my warning lactose intolerant people The ramen was really tasty though. I also like the fried rice here. It has a good, strong ginger flavor

One of my favorite spots. Very easy to order for pick up or go in person. The tricky part is the location being on a corner with limited parking. The gyoza is so good. I love the sauce it comes with. I typically stick with a black tonkotsu, but add spicy pork. I love the new half and half option to try something new. I went for the shoyu and did not like as much probably because I'm not big on seaweed. My partner got the spicy miso and really liked it. It wasn't spicy as we anticipated.

Best ramen in DFW! I have been to the Denton location and the Fort Worth location, and they are both consistently mind-blowing. I've tried many ramen shops in DFW, and this is my favorite. On my last trip to the location in denton, I got the Karikara Chicken, which is my favorite appetizer of all time. I then did the "half and half" ramen bowl with the Black Tonkotsu and the Shoyu. The Black Tonkotsu is deliciously garlic, and the Shoyu was smooth and refreshing, with a taste of seafood. My wife also got the edamame and fried rice, both of which were great. We tried the fried tofu, but we weren't a huge fan of how big the pieces were. The only opportunity that I'd mention was the service. The waiter and staff weren't rude or anything, but they did not attend to us very well. They also brought all of our food out individually over a 10 minute time frame, which was kinda weird. They were also out of order in terms of main dishes and appetizers. But I still give them 5 stars, because the service is usually better and the food was amazing.

I have been coming here for over a year now. I love this place so much. I try to come here once a week. I always get the same appetiser the Age Gyoza. I love it so much. It's always a perfect start to my meal. I then get a bowl of ramen. I usually get the Tokyo Tonkatsu, but here and now I switch it up. AND THEY HVE BAMBOO SHOOTS. My favourite on top of ramen!!!!! This will always be my favourite place to get ramen. The service is quick and amazing. The music is a vibe and I love just getting to sit at the bar and do my own thing and eat. I love this place. I would recommend it to anyone. 10/10 on everything.

The tonkotsu ramen here is really good. The staff are always friendly, service is quick, and their ramen broths are pretty flavorful.

Green tea Gyoza Japanese Curry Visited for a quick lunch this week. Was not disappointed with the food. It was slow when we visited- I liked the clean interior and prompt, attentive service. Our food came out quickly and my favorite was the gyoza, which were perfectly flavored and light/crispy! I got the curry katsu don- the breaded chicken was delicious- the curry, which was like a gravy, complimented the chicken and rice. Really great selection! I like that the minty has pictures that accompany so if u are not aware of what a dish is, u can become more familiar before ordering. Will be back to try the ramen!

Appetizer here is the must! The Ramen is good. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. I need to take off one star because they serve us with wet plates! I like to visit when I'm in the area on occasion. Obviously, as always customer service need a little bit improvement.

It is a very tranquil ambiance. With excellent customer service. The different Ramen dish were absolutely amazing. The Octopus balls pictured below were so awesome it left my son speechless.

Yummy ramen and good customer service! I've never been a hardcore ramen fan, but this place has me wanting to come back over and over again! I got the spicy pork Tokyo Tonkotsu and it did not disappoint!

The service is excellent and the restaurant is really well decorated. The food seems expensive until it arrives and the bowl is bigger than your face and full to the brim with delicious ramen. And if you're like me, with the stomach capacity of a small bird, you've got leftovers for days.

I have driven by this place many times on my way to work and have been waiting for the day try it. I was with my husband, brother, and mom and we all decided we wanted to try something new and I remembered this place. We had just gotten down playing a kickball tournament on Labor Day, so we were starving! We arrived and the small parking lot in the back was full! Luckily as we drove up someone was pulling out. We walked in and were warmly welcome and seated at our choice of booth or table. Our waiter was so friendly and was able to point us in the right direction for all of our food choices. My husband and I decided to order an appetizer of gyoza for us all to enjoy, on top of the fried octopus legs, shrimp shumai, and karikara chicken. We all just dug in and tore it up! So much flavor and they all came out fairly quickly even with the crowd. My and my husbands favorite was the Gyoza. My moms favorite was the Karikara Chicken, and my brothers favorite was the Shrimp Shumai. While we were chowing down we all ordered our meals. I ordered the Kara Miso Ramen, which is the spicy version of the regular Miso Ramen, and when I say spicy I mean spicy. My brother and mom both ordered the Vegetable Ramen and added a side of the spicy ground pork, warning it is really spicy for those of you who don't like spicy things. And my husband ordered the Baisen Miso Ramen. When our meals were brought out our eyes were wide with how big the bowls were. Can't say we left even a little bit hungry. The bowls were piping hot and chocked full of fresh delicious vegetables and tender meat, like literally it fell apart as I picked it up with my chopsticks. (just a little tidbit if you want silverware just ask) I'm sure you're wondering why the three stars, one is because I feel like there wasn't a whole lot of options to choose from, and two is because the the seating wasn't the most comfortable. But I would love to come back and try a whole new set of foods and just explore.

The best ramen I have ever had. I've tried a lot of ramen places around dfw but this one is hands down the best. The miso ramen is so flavourful. Not the mention the food comes out so fast. The portions of ramen are huge. Very clean restaurant and the staff is really attentive and kind. Jose is almost always my waiter and he is also amazing.

Excellent menu options. Food is fresh and expertly prepared. We highly recommend this restaurant for a ramen experience in the Denton area.

We tried this place a couple of weeks ago for our date night. I was worried because I'm vegetarian and most a lot of ramen places don't have veg options because the broth is meat based. Hanabi had a couple of vegetarian options. I got the curry ramen and it was really good fresh. I took half home and tried to reheat it and it wasn't so great reheated. My hubby does eat meat and got a couple of small plates over ramen and he really liked his food as well. It has a fun little atmosphere inside and we would go back!

Though I like ramen quite a bit, I don't have it often because I'm definitely a rice girl at heart. Nonetheless, I was excited when I saw this place being built, and glad to find out when they opened! Yesterday, we were running errands on a cold, rainy Saturday and decided this was the perfect time to try them out. We arrived a few minutes before they opened, but as soon as they flipped the open sign, a couple beat us inside, lol! The décor is entirely light wood, including the seating. It wasn't comfortable long-term, but it wasn't bad and was quite eye catching. They have a patio area, so I am curious to see the décor set up there. We were enthusiastically greeted and seated quickly. I can say this is something they are very consistent about! They got busy very quickly and we heard everyone being greeted upon arrival. We only had a few moments to look at the menu when our server asked our drink order. I had been considering a tea, but being so unfamiliar with the menu layout, just went with a soda. When it arrived, I tried really hard to keep a blank face. They charge $2.50 for a *can* of soda? Okay... not ordering that again, lol. We had more time to look over the food options and that's great because we were going back and forth and being so indecisive! I was tempted to order one of everything. Part of what changed my mind was that our server couldn't answer any questions about customizing our meal, seemed impatient and then started saying things that were contradictory, like you can't customize because they don't make it ahead of time. I think maybe she was still learning the menu or nervous and misspoke, because later she said something different. However, this was a sign to me that we should keep it simple. I ordered the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen for $9.50 and the Chashu Don for $4. My husband got the Gyoza for $5, fried rice for $3 and the ajitama topping for $1. There was plenty of staff on hand. Enough that our server had time to stand in the hallway with her arms crossed and stare blankly at us. Not sure if she was too inexperienced to realize the perception of that, or if it was purposeful. About 15 minutes later, the food started trickling out a few minutes apart. For this reason, it took a while to realize that they weren't bringing my husband his egg because they had added it to my ramen. If they brought the meal together, this would have been easier to point out to our server. When she checked on us and we asked about it, she said the kitchen made a mistake and put it in my ramen. We waited expectantly for her to get him another, but instead she got a plate for me to put the eggs on. I pointed out that he didn't order it soaking in ramen, but she offered no other solution, so my husband just agreed. It was only $1, but I thought it was pretty eye roll worthy that they didn't remove it from the check, considering they made the mistake and didn't want to bring another one. Everything was pretty good! Nothing was a perfect dish, but they had some great potential and it's worth checking out. My broth was creamy and delicious! It was among some of the best broth I've ever had and was soothing on such a cold day. I'm not usually that into the broth and I finished almost all of it by the time we left. The noodles were adequate. The pork was very thin, and not as tender as I had hoped. Tasty overall, but portion wise I felt this was several dollars too high for what we got. The pork belly in the chashu don was excellent! That was very flavorful and very tender, the fat literally melted. Absolutely perfect and what I had hoped for. My plan for the left overs was to put this in the rest of my ramen. The rice was decent, there was just too much garnishment for my taste, especially of the green onion. My only other suggestion is they serve this in a larger bowl as the small bowl was packed and that made it hard to eat without making a mess. Since this is considered a side, I felt we really got the bang for our buck on the portion The dumplings were fried nicely and only a little greasy. I love the crisp from a fried dumpling and these delivered, but I couldn't taste any pork, only the veggies. The fried rice was as expected in flavor, and the portion wasn't bad for the price. In determining a rating, I would have to say the food and price were 3 1/2 stars. If that was my only factor, I would have rounded up to 4 stars because they've been open less than 2 weeks and I feel confident they will find their groove and it will reflect in the food. However the service was a bit under 3 stars and was a noticeable part of our overall impression of the place. This too, I think will improve drastically as the servers get comfortable with the menu and taking care of customers, and the kitchen gets faster. For what it's worth, some servers seemed more seasoned, and ours was nicer on later check ins. I bet if we give it a few months, the experience will be a solid 4 stars or higher.

I got the curry ramen and I thought that the egg was perfectly cooked. The egg was boiled but it wasn't rubbery like most boiled eggs and had a soft center. I also thought that the cabbage, noodles, and the soup went really well together. The dish was also very fun to eat using a spoon and chopsticks together. Overall, the ambiance of the restaurant was really nice and I appreciated the effort they put into making it have a homey vibe. There were wooden tables, Japanese symbols, and other things that made the place feel complete.

Our server was awesome and very helpful. They do not have a kids menu, but I ordered the black tonkatsu and just got a side of extra noodles and chasu for my toddler. She absolutely loved the edamame and the ramen. Definitely recommend this spot and town square is two blocks down.

Servers make or break restaurants and tonight's service made us never want to come back and tell every person we know about our experience. I have no idea what our servers name was, he never introduced himself. There were multiple times through dinner when we needed something and he never stopped by, he never asked us a single question the entire time we were there. We had to verbally holler at him anytime we wanted something. When we ordered, we had to holler and flag him down to tell him what we wanted. I was watching his every move the entire time we were in there trying to get his attention and he never looked my way. Also not a single piece of trash, empty Dr. Pepper can or dirty dish was taken away from our table. We had a pile of trash, cans and dirty dishes on our table the entire time we at dinner. This trash pile was not hidden or hard to reach, it was directly on the edge of our booth table and could clearly be seen from any place in the restaurant but not a single person working here gave a shit. The bus boy came out of the back multiple times to clean tables but never looked our way. I personally will never step foot in this place again because of how lackluster and incompetent the entire staff is. There are too many other places in town that give a damn about their customers that I'll spend my money at.

Denton doesn't have ramen spot around and I was excited to try it here . I know it was opened around two years  back but I didn't have the chance until last Thursday. I really wanted to like this ramen place since I had heard good reviews of it's another branch at Carrollton. However me and my partner are both very disappointed. He got the seafood ramen and I got the tonkastsu with extra pork chasu.We both found the broth r the  since the broth was flavourless. Ramen is all about the noodle and broth . I hope they could work with the flavours.

The karakke was amazing very hot and fresh. The Shoyu Ramen is my favorite type of ramen and this place does it justice. Quick service the servers are very attentive and constantly checking up on us. Very cute place a lot of Japanese inspiration for sure with not too loud music that's popular these days.

It was our first time eating here, we ordered the Tokyo tonkotsu, it was well seasoned, just the right level of spicy. Very delicious ramen. The service was great, definitely recommend!

I've been here many times, and every time I order the same dish because it's just that good. I order the spicy miso (as pictured), and even though I've tried the spicy miso at many different ramen places, this is definitely my favorite. The amount of spice in the broth is the perfect amount. It's not too spicy where it makes it unenjoyable, but it's also spicy enough to where it MIGHT give you a runny nose. The bowls are huge, so you know you're getting your moneys worth. The inside has a really cozy atmosphere with large windows that make visiting this place perfect for a rainy day. Try the spicy miso!!!!

The gyoza, the atmosphere, and the service were all fine. The ramen, however, was honestly just boring. The chashu should've been seared or something, but it was fatty and soft. The broth had almost zero flavor, although the Black Tonkotsu's garlic did help some. The noodles were okay, and the ajitama was cooked well, but had almost no seasoning. Sigh. We really wanted to have good ramen, but we're used to Ramen Tatsu-ya in Austin, so I guess we're spoiled. Sorry, not trying to be harsh, but... seasoning, man. I saw other reviews that mentioned the lack of flavors, but I'd hoped the restaurant had read those reviews and improved... but alas, it was not to be.

The food was delicious and I love that you can pick a half and a half bowl of two different types of Ramen! The wood box seats weren't super comfy but everything else was awesome. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and helpful!

Found this place by near the square. Friendly people, great service. And the food is amazing. We've. Been here twice already and it was both great. The bowls are huge and I can usually share my bowl with two of my younger kids. The broth is thick and full of flavor. The noodles are perfect. The add ins and eggs are perfect. Prices are also great too.
