One of the best things to eat when the weather is cold. You can have oden as a snack with some drinks or go on a spree to make it a full meal by ordering different meats, veg, fish cakes, and tofu. What makes oden great though is the quality of the dashi that all your choices are simmered/warmed in. This place has such excellent dashi that locals come everyday to wait in line to dine and they offer a little something extra on their menu to diners, whale meat! If you go know that it's very casual, it can be very tight, it's very affordable, but you'll almost always have to wait in line so come early.

I found a very large cockroach in my soup, unfortunately, and the food was promptly replaced, but I still had to pay. this was probably just a one off. enjoy at your own risk! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Highly recommend the oden, especially during cooler weather when the flavors truly shine. The food is absolutely delicious, particularly the white carrot (大根), which is large, juicy, and incredibly sweet. The green onion bag (ねぎ袋) and tofu (豆腐) are also must-tries, as they’re both excellent. I was fortunate to arrive early, so I didn’t have to wait long, though seating was limited. The prices are a bit higher.

The test is mild. I feel like it’s pretty alright—just right, but not exceptional. I read a lot of reviews, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. I went there alone, so I’m not a local. It’s pretty famous among locals here, but for me, being alone and not a local, I felt the atmosphere wasn’t friendly.

This is a very popular store for the locals, we queued for around 1 hours plus, their oden and soup pretty good, especially like their toufu, really soft. Luckily they also provided English menu, so it is very convenient for the foreigner to order. Please expect a long waiting hour during dinner time.

This restaurant is crazy. All of the dishes are just simple, but they are too tasty. Yes, the simple is the best. If you have a plan to visit Osaka, I strongly request to visit and experience dishes of this restaurant. For your information, the budget is under JPY 1,000-2,000 except for beer and sake for each person. Thank the chef and staff you for my enjoying Japanese real odens. See you again.

The best best best oden in Japan. This is my first oden special restaurant in Japan. The serve variety of different oden. The dashi or soup is the best. Full of flavour and umami. Prepared yourself for super long q... You can make reservation if you have at least 6 persons. Is about 5~10 mins walk from Fukushima Station. The price is very reasonable, super high CP value. Will come back again. 😋😋😋

A cozy shop with very good food! Some of the oden ingredients are new to me. The soup is sweetly tasted 😋 There are only 10 seats inside the shop. I recommend you to try if you like oden!
