Wow! Definitely a must try! We opted to do take out due to a busy schedule. The food portions were huge! Filet Mignon, fried rice, veggies, chicken, and shrimp combos. All of us were stuffed and thought the quality was spot on! Great tasting food, and very reasonably priced! Give ‘em a try!

I've been coming here for a few months now, and the food has been consistently good each time. The filet mignon is super soft and cooked perfect. I order Medium. The price is fair for the amount of food they give you. The ladies that work there are very nice and the place is clean. Its recommended to call in your order as every order is made fresh and it does get busy.

I was extremely excited to come here after the raving IG posts. I did make the drive to Norwalk to try it out, and after finally eating the food, I was very regretfully disappointed. The wait was long... about 60 mins wait for my 2 entre to go order. I ordered the New york steak, chicken and shrimp with the fried rice, and the 2nd entré was the New york steak with chiken and steamed rice and 1 drink. I sat waited for my order. Saw people come in and order for indoor dining , get their food, finish and leave. Not sure why my order was taking too long. The staff did seem apologetic and I was told twice that my order would come soon. After $66.00 on 2 items and an hour wait, my food was ready, and I took it home to eat. The steak was bland, flavorless and so was the chicken. The shrimp was overcooked yet salty. The fried rice was very mushy, soggy and had a not so appealing taste... it reminded me of heated up plastic. The vegetables were great and so was the steamed rice. But $66.00 for vegetables, steamed rice and 1 drink is definitely not worth it. The portions are generous but now I need to figure out how to recook my food so it's edible. The food was very disappointing and now I wonder why I questioned the universe as every time I tried to make it something came up, I said screw it and still made it happen... next time I will listen.

We waited 20 minutes for one plate of teriyaki chicken. Which was around 18 bucks. The chicken was salty, dry, and disappointing. Even the teriyaki sauce was salty. Overall not a good experience here. Extremely Overpriced.

I share my experience with you, as I want you to be aware when you see foodie reviews on Instagram and decide to visit them as I did. I was inspired to visit this location today based on a popular IG foodie post. It seems I wasn't alone as there were customers calling in orders and stopping by. I only wish I had the benefit some of the later customers had of being told your food would take 45 minutes. Before I was done with my meal, customers were being told 90 minutes. I wasn't informed of this, and as I was only there 3rd customer when they opened, I didn't even think about waiting for food. The tables were empty except for the two previous customers. It took 45 minutes for my steak and chicken combo plate with no special extras to come up. This only happened after I saw the clerks give away other food to call-in customers who were arriving well after me. The food did not stand out as extra special to me, as stated in the IG post. The prices did. Sorry to say, I have removed this restaurant from my favorites already and don't plan to return. The clerk was friendly and there was soft music playing. The tables were also very clean. Some benefits. I don't want a full negative review, but there is plenty room for improvement. Teamwork might be one of them, as the clerks were not agreeing on how long to tell customers the food would take to cook. Work it out and do better please. Better luck in the future.

We live nearby and my husband and decide to give this new spot a try and we absolutely loved it! Keep in mind we ordered filet mignon +shrimp +lobster no rice all veggies and it was still delicious! Very well seasoned/cooked. Full of flavor and def recommend their diablo sauce and garlic butter We can’t wait to go back and try their fried rice and noodles !

Placed an order online for pick up after reading some reviews online. The restaurant was empty and has enough seating for a couple of families. My food was ready at the estimated time which was great, and was still hot once I arrived to my hotel. My food was amazing!!! Every single bite had so much flavor! I LOVED the fried rice. On the side of my pictures is the side portion of the yakisoba noodles, which honestly is such a good portion for the size. I will def be back once I visit California!

This plate was fully loaded!!! I've had hibachi at a few different spots and they usually serve so tiny portions size but here they did not skimp out on anything! For the price this has probably been my favorite hibachi spot I've tried!! The food was very flavorful mouth watering. My only issue was I asked for my steak medium and they gave it to me well done, other than that this place was 10/10!!!

We stopped here for dinner while visiting the area. The dining area was simple and very clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Our order took about 45 minutes to get to our table, but they did tell us up front that it would be about that long so it wasn't unexpected. The quality of the food was great. It was extremely fresh and deliciously prepared. The only inconvenience was that they do not have a restroom for their customers to use. But even with this in mind I would definitely still recommend! The food was good enough to make up for it.

Fam was really craving teppanyaki so decided to give this place a try! Did not disappoint! Placed an order online and was ready on time upon arrival. The portions are HUGE. Easily shareable or save as leftovers. My boys can eat and none of us finished our plates! Got the filet and chicken with fried rice. Got a side of garlic noodles BOMB!!!! My hubby got the NY steak and chicken and how dry the NY steak had more flavor, our filets were a bit dry. But do not skip the garlic noodles! We'll be back for sure!

Food is ok, nothing special .. speed of service is really bad , took about 45-50 mins to get the food for two bowls and noddles.

I came here since Yelp kept recommending the spot to me. I checked the reviews and pictures and was very excited to check it out. Upon our arrival, the restaurant was quiet with a few people having dinner. It appeared to be clean and well maintained but the dining area was smaller than I had anticipated. It's not a sit down with a wait staff restaurant but more of order at the counter. The food is then brought to your table in to go boxes, which I really didn't mind but again expected the opposite. Now for the food, the pictures in Yelp just look amazing so I was looking forward to trying several dishes. I ordered the chicken and salmon combo with an upgrade to their chicken fried rice and side of garlic noodles. The food was very good, bursting with flavors, and delicious except for the chicken thus the 3 star review. The chicken was not cooked or even cut properly. It was totally tough, dry and had zero flavor which was totally disappointing. They also offer great sauces which were required to drench the chicken in to make it even edible. We literally brought the chicken home, cut it into smaller pieces, put it in a skillet with a little water, added seasoning, and enjoyed it! Other than the chicken not up to par, the noodles, veggies, salmon, and chicken rice were good! The food wasn't cheap either, my combo with the chicken rice upgrade was almost $32. Include my wife's plate, side of noodles, and drinks my bill was $63. Will we be back? That's up for debate!!

It's not really a dine in location but the food itself is worth the price. It was delicious & flavorful. We got 4 plates with all different proteins and they were all cooked so well.

Food is always on point and great people there always so nice. If you don't mind spending a bit go for it.

Ordered pick-up via DoorDash. Order was ready in 30 minutes, at 6pm on a Wednesday. Ordered the steak and chicken combo. Huge portion. I'm stuffed and I only ate half of it. Very simple, yet great buttery, grilled flavors on the protein and veggies. Rice was cooked perfectly. Very good. Would def eat again.

I've been to Hanami Teppanyaki Grill over five times and have tried all the proteins they offer. On my last visit, I got the chicken fried rice as my base and added two proteins: salmon and New York steak. It also comes with vegetables. They will ask, "How do you like your steak?" I always go with medium rare. The meat is always tender. The portions are pretty big, and I always have leftovers, even though I can eat a lot. One meal can easily be shared between two people. I recommend this place. I typically go here at least 1-2 times per month.

Saw this place in Instagram a while ago. We finally had the opportunity to go. The lady Grace who took our order was very friendly and sweet. She came over and checked in us several times to make sure we were good. The food was delicious! I know when I am craving Teppanyaki, I will be heading here.

ORDER AHEAD ORDER AHEAD ORDER AHEAD!!!! Saw this spot via a Reel/TicToc on FB. My family loves Teppan, so the idea of having a "fast option" to Teppan was ideal. Read the reviews and they have a 4 1/2. I'm going for a 3; but if 1/2 stars was an option I'd give it 3 1/2. There were several ppl waiting but didn't seem like an issue. We placed our order and expected to wait; but we were told...1 HOUR!!! You read that right 1 HOUR to get our food, then asked if we wanted to wait, we decided to wait. And she said she would call us when the food was ready. I clarified if she was gonna call or text and she said call. Okay...here's the cell # We then went to the Boba spot and on the way to sit in the car to wait, there was line out the door! I ordered the filet/Shrimp combo w/fried rice, my husband got the chicken/Shrimp combo w/Chix-shrimp fried rice. I liked that she asked how I wanted my filet. On to the food- the rice and veggies were on point! The filet was cool; but the shrimp was less than impressive. It could've been grilled better and longer. My husband's chick/shrimp fried rice literally had 1 chicken chunk and 2 1/2 small pieces of shrimp, Disappointing! I like the options of the different sauces. One of the menu pics say you get 3 sauces w/a platter; but they've obviously changed that because it's only 2. Price point-we paid about $60 for 2 meals. Of course cheaper than Benihana; but for an hour wait we coulda sat down to eat. Convenience-good for the area; but we'll continue to go to Tokyo Hibachi (Benihana alternative) which is closer to our home. There's lots of parking; but the spot is kinda small. Oh and the lady NEVER CALLED US! My husband went in after an hour and there were meals stacked up with patrons complaining... I highly doubt I would return; but would recommend to try if Calling Ahead!

Extremely friendly staff. They always get the order right, reasonably priced and the hibachi steak here is delicious. In my opinion you definitely get what you pay for here. Nice quiet little take out spot but they have seating if you want to dine in as well. Love the yum yum sauce here too.

UPDATE: Manager responded to my review and seems like they might've been trying to insinuate that I may have not even been a customer as they found no "security footage" of someone ordering 2 kids bowls recently. I went Sunday, April 7th in the evening. Not that I need to, but I'm including a transaction receipt from my bank, which is dated April 8th after the final charges were posted from my visit. She also mentioned that my review might come across as accusing/discriminatory(?) when I was simply recounting my experience. Everyone interprets things differently, so I understand. I think her response and the countless other reviews about wait time frustrations/food quality speak for themselves. Hope you can take the feedback and improve the experience for future customers.

Food is great! Great value for your money. I love their lunch special. I've been coming here since they opened. TIP: There is a a 30-40 min wait time so order ahead online THROUGH THEIR website. They need time to prepare your food! ENJOY!

Fresh ingredient. Tasty dishes. We tried the filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp combo over garlic noodles and fried rice. Everything was so delicious and the variety of sauces gave it that extra flavor. If I could order again, I would do all shrimp with veggies over garlic noodles and steamed rice. Bc the shrimp and noodles were fire. We will be back.

Hanami Teppanyaki brings back fond childhood memories, and now I'm excited to share this experience with my family. We loved their steak, shrimp, salmon, and chicken, all prepared in the delicious teppanyaki style. The prices are reasonable given the generous portions and high quality of the food. Plus, the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, making for a great dining experience.

This place is a perfect example of not going by what you read on social media. I read that the portions are small and they are overpriced. Based on my order I found this to be false. Instead of dining in I placed an order online for pick up instead. It was a 75min wait and upon my arrival I did noticed the place is very small and they do have a sign stating this isn't a fast food restaurant and everything is made to order. I do get the feeling they are understaffed. Quality of food: The portions were very generous each container of food was heavy. Unfortunately the chicken and steak were dry and lacked flavor and so did the Yakisoba noodles. The bottom portions of the noodles were better because they were soaking in the sauce. The rice has been compared to it being "Just like Benihanas" or better. I'll admit it is close enough but they definitely need the mustard sauce if they want to live up to the Benihanas standard of rice. My recommendation is give this place a try and if you don't want to wait long call in advance.

Been hearing about this place and finally had a chance to go. Restaurant: Inside, the place is clean and welcoming. Plenty of seating inside to enjoy your food. Could have a group in there if you push the tables together. Experience: Came in right before closing and I was the only one inside. They took my order and I waited for maybe 10-15 minutes for them to make my food. I really appreciated that it was made to order. Food: Got the New York steak and chicken combo with yum yum sauce and garlic butter. Fantastic quality for everything on the plate. Having the two sauce options gave me plenty of variety. Veggies and steak were cooked to perfection. The fried rice upgrade was worth the money I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted teppanyaki. Quality service, quality food and fast. I'll be coming back!

By far the best! A must try. We order this on weekends and pick up my boyfriend's cousin loves to come over so we can order this. Everything is so good with lots of flavor you won't be disappointed

The shrimp and New York steak here is delicious. I love the hanami sauce with it. The price is really good compared to other teppanyaki restaurant. When we came, we need to wait for an hour for the food to come out and the owner tells us to call ahead of time for the next visit. The place is small but clean. Definitely come back for more!!

I am very happy and satisfied when I come here. I usually take out but I do order the New York steak plate with fried rice. Honestly, for the price and the quality it's very much worth it! If you're looking to eat great tasting hibachi but don't care to go to Benihana or deal with the fuss of going to a sit-down hibachi spot then this is the right place for you! The prices aren't too bad either. Good service all around.

This place is OKAY! It's not bad by being so close to my house. But it doesn't beat other benihibachi type grills further my house. Workers are very awesome, service is always top tier and food is made on time. Quality is good. I just feel like the bowls here are small and pricy compared to others I tried.

This restaurant is absolutely tasty. I ordered the comb entree NY steak and shrimp plate and a kids bowl. I've been before and this isn't the first time I ordered take out and have been disappointed to be missing something from my order. I wanted to surprise my bf with this place since he's never had it. I was so excited for him to try it only he didn't get to try my favorites. I was missing shrimp from my order and my steak wasn't medium rare. I called them to let them know what we got and they wanted me to go back to just pick up the shrimp. I unfortunately didn't have the time to just pick up shrimp. This place is pretty pricey to be messing up. If you order take out make sure you got what you paid for.

Hidden Gem! Ordered 9 plates for pick up and Hanami hit it out of the park. The quality of the ingredients the made to order food and flavor was outstanding. The service was top notch as well. Shout out to Grace. What a great person. Because I called in an order with multiple plates it got confusing because I had to make changes and add additional orders etc. this resulted in several phone calls. Grace was super patient and explained the options so that I could convey it to our group. Best yet, everything was ready for pick up exactly on time and even better, it was accurate!!!!! How many times have you picked up food only to go home and find out that the restaurant left something out? Hanami got our order just right. Because Hanami is using quality ingredients it really shines in their dishes. For example, the steak cuts are not cheap low grade meat, but instead the quality you would serve your family. The veggies were also very fresh. The sauces were all excellent as well and by ordering a variety you can try different flavors with your meal. Although we ordered pick up, after having checked out the interior, I wouldn't mind eating inside as well. You could tell that they recently renovated the place and everything was clean and new. Pride of ownership was apparent because there was a great deal of attention to detail. It is located within a strip mall plaza with plenty of parking. Inside the plaza is a Starbucks and a north gate market so there is plenty of activity. Just a few final thoughts. During lunch hours they offer a lunch plate special. It is extremely high value because it comes with your choice(s) of protein along with veggies and fried rice and choice of two sauces. You save some money as compared to the full plate. There is sufficient quantity as well. I posted a picture of the lunch plate special of steak and chicken so you can get an idea. A few in our group did order a regular lunch plate and the difference was the size of the tray that the food came in. The container was bigger and when I lifted the food out of the box it was noticeably heavier than the lunch special. More likely than not the lunch special is more than enough food for a meal. If however you are hoping to save some leftovers then the regular lunch plate would be a great deal because for a few bucks more u can have two meals. Lastly, each dish is made to order. This means that they need time to cook each meal. If you come during busy hours and place an order you will likely have to wait. Plan ahead and call in or order off the website is my recommendation. If you go in person then perhaps a weekday or slightly before or after peak hours would be my suggestion. Overall we were all very happy with the food and we will be back. Thank you Hanami.

Saw this place on IG, and decided to come with my sister to check it out. Service was good, place had about 8 people when we came in and a steady flow of customers during our visit. After ordering we were told it would be about 30 minutes, but it was under that time. Food was fresh and hot When we got it, vegetables were cooked perfectly, and filet mignon was cooked delisciously at medium well, and my chicken (Loved that it was white meat, but the texture on some pieces was a bit tough) which was a bummer, but hey... I upgraded to shrimp fried rice for my plate and was not disappointed, and also ordered extra garlic butter, cuz extra garlic butter is always betta! In closing... Is it better than Benihanas as the foodie influencer on IG said?... NO. But I would definitely go back for more because of the formentioned. Oh, my sister ordered the chicken with a side of Salmon and raved that it was so good and moist that she'd order just salmon on her plate the next visit. 8.5/10 for me

Great quick service version of Teppanyaki. Quality ingredients and generous portions. Sizes. Their fried rice is as good as it gets just like any good Teppanyaki house. They have more reasonably priced lunch bowl specials as well. I just wished they added a small salad with the ginger dressing or soup like the table service Teppanyaki places. Super friendly helpful service too. No thrills quick service dining area but great food and service!

So saw the video on tic toc and drove all the way out from North Hollywood. First of all, the establishment was very plain and for the price of each meal it was too plain. Not impressed. One tiny tv regular chairs and tables and small. In a strip mall and easily seen from the street. I really thought it was going to be a bit more restaurant style with a chef in front of us or a grill at least. None of that though just a counter and a register. Everything is cooked behind a wall where you don't see it. The prices are pretty much on the high end for a fast food establishment like this. Small selection of drinks all cans and bottles some Pellegrino flavors and a Sunny D option. Ok so food came and it was really good. Their sauces were good the spicy ones were delicious. If the review was based on just the food I would have given it a 4 star, but I don't want to not review the entire experience.

I'm really happy that to have a local hibachi spot. I learned about this place on Instagram and I got to see the video that got me here showed some frying and things that would make you think that it's like Benihana's but it's not there's no show you don't see the cooks or anything like that, however the food was great. I had shrimp and chicken along with the Yaki soba noodles and I enjoyed it. If you're looking for a vibe this place is not necessarily it. You can eat here but this is more of a takeout spot in my opinion.

Decided to stop on by last night ( Thursday ) to get dinner for the family and I. I got two plates which were filet mignon and salmon & New York Steak and Shrimp. The filet mignon I asked for med well and for my New York I asked med rare. For two plates , and including tip, I payed around $70. Very pricey ! The salmon and filet plate weighed so heavy ! But, according to my parents it was absolutely delicious. That was their first time having teppanyaki style cuisine. My New York was cooked just to order, med rare and everything on that plate was seasoned and cooked well. Actually, I just got back from Hawaii and spreading that garlic butter all over the shrimp and steak and having it melt was a craving satisfied for garlic shrimp Overall, the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and very pricey. I'd love to go back , but at $70 .. maybe next payday.

If you like Benihana, let me tell you this place is way better of course you don't get the whole show but if you only care for the food this place is the place to go. I ordered a chicken bowl and steak and chicken plate both lunch specials with chicken friend rice. Both were delicious, great flavor, the chicken is not dry and the steak was juicy. Ginger sauce with steak is the way to go. Diablo sauce was a little spicy. I will be coming back for sure.

Preorder ! Food is yummy , Hans down. Surprisingly delicious! Definitely a place to come by when you wish to treat yourself because the meals are a bit pricey, but they are definitely fresh and delicious. I do recommend to pre order or order Go shopping and then come back for your meal because the cook is legit, making everything from scratch .

The food here is so good! The service is great and efficient! The ambiance is great as well! The prices are very good. It's in a little strip mall, so it adds variety to the area. There are no fountain drinks or public restrooms.

I came across a reel on IG and decided to try it because I love going to Benihana but hate the wait Definitely recommend checking this place out, we drive all the way from Anaheim and it is always delicious. The fried rice is an absolute must have! The garlic butter is We have tried chicken, shrimp & steak, we loved all of them. Every time the food is made order and always delicious We have also tried their garlic noodles & Yakisoba noodles, both are delicious and would recommend both!
