H&H Bagels to Open at Least 10 Locations Nationwide This Year | Eater NY
"Set to open in March or April in the Penn 1 LIRR concourse at 32nd Street and Seventh Avenue, this Penn Station outpost is part of H&H’s comeback and nationwide franchising push as the company aims to become the best-known bagel shop in the country; the new store will receive kettle‑boiled, par‑baked bagels shipped from the Woodside production facility to be finished in special ovens and will feature the company’s new branding." - Melissa McCart
A slight step up from a grocery store/dunkin bagel .. but not by much. I got a toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese but I would think I was eating a plain bagel with plain cream cheese if I closed my eyes. It is very tough as well so it’s hard to bite or rip. Overall… I wouldn’t recommend even if you’re really in a pinch. I will say, the employees were very kind and very efficient, my bagel was ready by the time I got to the cashier!

To be frank, the bagel makes me sad. We are in the bagel capital of the country and you have the audacity to sell this? Two bagels and two medium cold brews for nearly $30 and THIS is what you feed me? The bagel was grainy and somehow hollow. Where is the passion in baking this?
Jalapeño CC was fresh, but not worth it. Go somewhere else.

This spot is amazing! The bagels are huge, and the Spicy Scallion Cream Cheese should stay here forever. The vibes were great; spot to sit in Penn without commotion. The staff is also great and very helpful!

The service was excellent and done with a courteous smile. The bagels are out of the world good, and the place was clean. One more thing, the coffee was sublime, I literally felt my eyes rolled with the first sip— so delightful!

Everything bagel with spicy scallion cream cheese was the most incredible thing ever! Please make that a permanent item on your menu! So good!

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place - as a New Yorker, this is a totally fine bagel. Not the best you’ll ever have, but it’s good! Definitely does not taste like a bad “Starbucks bagel” per one of the other reviews.
