The H&M store in Roseville Galleria is big, but I feel it needs to be remodeled soon. The store carries a lot of clothes for all ages and genders. They have a lot of accessories items in stock too. The cashiers at the checkout counter are fast. The line moves quickly. I think I saw a sign that said H&M will close for remodeling soon. I hope I will go shopping in a new store next time!

Manager with long hair / pony tail very rude. Sassy and no customer service skills. H&M corporate- make sure you hire people that is respectful

Google
Their fitting rooms are very dirty. I saw clumps/balls of dust in the fitting room. Customer service is bad, employees were sweet and humble but I guess management should focus on the cleanliness of the store. Also, hope they should have better seasonal sales.

This store is very clean and usually has everything advertised online. My issue with this store is that they hang only one clothe in each size. So if someone grabbed your size before you, then you don't get to buy anything. Because the employees are busy and they won't go get your size in the back of the store for you (understandable). But just put several sizes in the rack to satisfy your customers please.

Google
The staff here are so nice and helpful and I really enjoy shopping at this store. This location is always so well organized and clean. It’s probably the most well organized clean store that I have ever seen and they also have so many sizes to choose from you’re guaranteed to find your size in my opinion.

Google
H&M used to have a great selection for men. Over the years the men’s section has shrunk, thus much less clothing to choose from. It almost seems the men’s section is an afterthought. We used to buy bags of clothing. We haven’t bought anything from them in quite a while.

Tim Vasko

Google
H&M offers a good selection of styles at reasonable prices. The store was organized, and the staff were helpful. A reliable spot for everyday shopping.

Dressing a teen. Why me??? Looking for clothes for a funeral. Not much. It was outlet quality selection. The jacket does look good.

Yelp
I had a very disappointing experience at H&M in the Roseville Galleria (Roseville, CA) and feel it's important to share, in hopes of encouraging better customer service. During my visit, my son and I were looking at a skirt on a mannequin to see if it came with built-in shorts or an underlayer. As we gently lifted the skirt to check, a manager abruptly approached us, snatched the skirt out of our hands, and said, "We don't look under there!" He didn't give us a chance to explain, and he walked away with attitude. It was unnecessarily rude and made both me and my child feel uncomfortable. Later, I returned to the counter to ask if I could exchange some underwear I had purchased just 15 minutes prior due to a sizing issue. I had bought four two-piece sets. I was aware of the no-return policy on underwear, but I still asked politely if an exception could be made given how recent the purchase was. That same manager was once again rude and dismissive, although he did eventually process the exchange. The problem wasn't the policy--it was the disrespectful and unprofessional attitude I encountered. I spent over $200 during this visit, and to be treated so poorly after making a significant purchase is unacceptable. Every customer, especially when shopping with their child, deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. For reference, the manager was a skinny, light-skinned Asian male with long hair tied back . I truly hope this feedback reaches the right people and leads to better staff training on professionalism and communication.

The Dude ..

Yelp
I come here often to buy baby / toddler clothes. The selection changes often enough to warrant me to keep coming here every two months to see if I can find something for my boy. They have good deals when they get their next batch, making it even more if a reason to come here. Management doing a very good job at switching selections. Even better, the large prints that kids love are sturdy here and goes well with the kid friendly vibe. Like chubby dinosaurs. They even have kids toys at the check out stand and a little shack where kids can hang out or sit on. They removed the kiddie chairs. Dirty adults leave their trash on the tables tho. I use it to feed my kid snacks in between shopping. The female attendants here are super nice. Especially the more experienced ones. The new people and dudes, ehh not so much. Waited in line and the dude stalled on me on purpose probably because the way I looked. Even laughed about it. Was told by his co worker to act like an adult and even reprimanded after I left. Homeboy did not even keep the courtesy to keep a civil face when I spoke to em. His body slanted backwards marked him a coward. Racism exists, it just needs to be called out more. Not ignored. A culture and place worth coming to, especially when employees are calling out evil when seen. Even if they are a co worker. Props to the two female employees. Thank you man. Thank you. Five stars to management. Five stars to the female employees.

Yelp
What a GREAT Store! I ONLY went in for a Gift Card - Christmas Present for a family member. But I am always looking for a good deal on clothes. And I walked in and saw some nice men's clothes for real low prices. I checked out a few things and made my way to the register. On the way I saw a display of heavy "Pendleton" type shirts and they were ONLY $20.99! I know they are not Pendleton quality - but they also don't cost $150! And I don't wear them that often so this one will last me quite a long time and it was NICE! The cashier was very friendly and efficient. Got my Gift card and opaid for my shirt and was on my way. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
After months of closing due to renovations, I came to the mall today and saw they had opened back up! I was excited to see what they had done with the space! To my huge disappointment, it really felt disorganized, and stuff was spread out all over the place. The new space didn't feel welcoming. I thought that with all these renovations, they would do something about that darn AC! Nope!!! It was still hot and stuffy inside! There were so many new lights installed! It's too much! It really discourages customers from shopping in there, as it's too hot and uncomfortable! I saw the cashiers getting sweaty and heard them complaining it was hot. How is that, ok??? I would hate to work in that type of environment! I am never returning to this H&M, I can't shop in there. It's like a sauna! H&M, you need to do better and think about your employees and customers.

Yelp
One of my favorite stores, well It used to be. After being closed for re-modeling I was super excited to see it was open again...what a disappointment! It looked half empty! Not even half of the inventory they used to carry. Where did all the cute clothes go?!! Seriously they have NOTHING in the Roseville Galleria store. Guess we will have to drive to the Folsom store now.

Sunset S.

Yelp
Their stuff is fairly cute but really, you need to watch out when you're getting rung up. The tags will say one price and I was charged five dollars extra per pair of pants. I will definitely be taking this back to get this corrected. Check your receipt before you leave. And report any pricing fraud to Placer County Department of Weights and Measures.

Yelp
For those of you who know me should already know that I don't care going to shopping malls and/or shopping for clothes. But if there is one clothing retailer that is worth checking out, I would definitely pick H&M as one of my favorites. Located at Westfield Galleria shopping mall in Roseville, H&M is located on the 2nd floor and is a very sizable store complete with a wide selection of mens, womens, and even kids clothes. The way I see their clothes is trendy yet very affordable. And when I mean affordable, prices here are much lower than what you would find at Macy's, JCPenney, The Gap, and American Eagle. For instance, a regularly priced shirt only sells for $14.99 while a nice pair of designer jeans can go as low as $19.99. And if you somehow make it into the sale section, they have extreme drastic markdowns on a lot of their merchandise. The photos shown in this review, I was able to score on a nice button-down shirt for only $3.00 and two great looking Hawaiian shirts for $6.99. I was even able to find a trendy pair of shoes for only $7.99. Keep in mind that this place does get busy and it can even be challenging trying to find an employee to help you. The lines can also be very long waiting to get rung up so be patient. As far as the quality, it's just average at best but with the prices that you pay, you won't be burning a hole in your wallet. I bought my share of clothing here and much of it seems to last through multiple wash cycles. Everything is also pre-shrunk so the size you try on will be the size after washing and drying it. Overall, H&M is an above average clothing store that I highly recommend. They also have an app you can download to your smartphone and get even more savings the more you shop. My rating, an above average 4 stars.

C J.

Yelp
Found a lot of cute kids clothes on clearance at great prices. At the register, cashier named Paul helped us. We needed two gift receipts so he was very willing to ring up our purchases into two separate transactions. Paul was extremely welcoming and friendly plus very professional as he neatly folded each piece of clothing before placing in the bag. Kudos to him for being an outstanding H&M employee!

Yelp
Definitely not a Nordstrom experience! If I could give no stars, that's what I'd give. I've been in customer service my entire life and at 49, I'd hope that the service I provide to my clients is 100% better than this. I asked if I could try on 2 shirts at approximately 11 minutes before closing, and the rep told me that the fitting rooms were closed. A shirt takes a minute on, a few seconds to inspect & a minute off. That said, my less than 5 minutes would've had me out with 5 minutes to spare. I could almost guarantee that I'd buy the 1 sweater, because I already own it in another color. They told me that I could speak to a manager, who said the same and he added that they have a 30 day return policy. I live about 20 minutes out, so that additional 40 minutes here & back wouldn't work well for me. I'll just keep shopping at Nordstrom, thanks for nothing.

Yelp
Turn on your AC it's always hot in here!!! Them recessed lights are too low to just have doors open for air. Even the employees look miserable in here. Yes I'm standing in a long line feeling the heat.

Yelp
I have never been here before. But I came in needing a simple plain white button down shirt. Seemed easy enough! My experience broke my heart. It took me a few minutes to search for someone to help me navigate this huge store. As I had previously stated, I've never been here. So it was a little overwhelming. I asked a kind woman who was mid conversation to simply point me in the right direction. She was so sweet and showed me a few locations where they may have what I was looking for- but alas, they did not. I tried on a few things but I continued my search for other necessities on my list. Now I want to add a personal detail- I recently had a surgery. And because of this surgery, I haven't been able to wear a bra in about a year. I had no idea what my size was now! I saw they had a huge mismatched selection- but large nonetheless. Definitely no organization at that moment- I'll give them the benefit of the doubt by saying it could have been because of the customers. However... this is one of the meanest and worst things anyone has ever said to me. I went up to the girl at the counter and asked what bra sizes they carry. She looked me up and down and said "we don't carry plus size" I... have never ever felt like this in my life. I'm not even big. I was literally trying on small/medium shirts just moments ago. Not that it would matter. You just don't treat people like that. How awful to make a paying customer feel this way. And what a snotty bratty thing to say from that girl.

S M.

Yelp
Customer service sucks. No one who works in this store cares about customer service, or furthermore larger size women just trying to see if this store may work for them. Staff seems to favorite guests in this store and everyone seems not friendly unless you have "the look". Will take this a step further with management if I have to. This is what's wrong with the world.

Yelp
I lost my sleek aviator raybans. Hence I bought 3 pairs for half the price but the glasses were fancy-smancy. I told the gentleman at the cash register, "TGIF" it was actually Wednesday, he asked the colleague beside him, "it's o my weds"... hahaha. Oopsie. It's my day off work, hence, I always called it my Friday. Hahaha. He was nice though. He could have laughed but I wouldn't be offended. "Oh, I guess my time rolled a little faster than yours" he chuckled. Hahah, but I sure look fancy-smancy in the glasses.

Yelp
Am I at Ross or H&M ??? Good for cool looking cheap threads but the standards have come down on this location. It was like a tornado went through the store. Staff was friendly but kind of like a click when we came in. Seemed like they where a bit understaffed for the size of the store. Will I be back... yes but hoping I don't have to walk over all of the mines

Sand S.

Yelp
Good prices here, but I cannot say the same thing about fabrics. Kids clothes section have a wide variety
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
H & M, by mall standards, has better deals and more often than some of their competitors. For example, I can get pants here that are the same fabric and style as Nordstrom's brands but at a quarter of the price. For that reason, I always like to stop in when I'm mall shopping. My recent visit was pretty disappointing. They have a serious shortage of XL shirts. I'm a big, tall guy and brands like H & M run small, requiring an XL or even XXL sometimes. I searched four different racks of basic t-shirts looking for shirts in my size and did not see one XL. In short, the stocking is horrible, the quality for the price great.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite H&M locations, out of the few that are in the Sacramento area. I just wished it was closer to where I am! I really like that there are pretty good finds in the clearance sections. The staff are pretty nice here, too. I think their return policy recently changed as far as returns without receipts due to COVID-19. They are only able to give exchanges on the spot...so you can't get store credit to spend for another time. Also, at this time, they are unable to have people use the fitting rooms to try clothes on, but they do encourage you to try things at home and return if you don't like it!

Yelp
Went to this store, thinking it's clean and organize because it's Roseville. You know Roseville are one of the best place to shop, lots of selections and great people. Except this one. It's a messed when I got here. Some of the clothes are in the floor. Line is too long. I must say the cashier was very helpful.

Yelp
Great deals! I'm not one to do reviews on mall clothing stores because I would tend to give general comments for all the stores but I have been here a few times already... okay, nine check-ins to date, and almost always I can't seem to leave without purchasing something. There are deals as low as $3 on crew neck solid color tees to $15 deals on dresses, jeans, tops, etc. I don't spend a ton of money on clothes because, first of all, I don't have a ton of $$ and second, clothes shopping are no longer my top recreation thing to do plus! I'd rather spend $ on food! #truth! but even when I'm just browsing thru the deals in store it's hard to pass up some of the items marked down that it's almost a steal. Last year I caught a 4th of July $4 sale and got 7 cute tops for less than $40. My teen loves this store too! I can't speak for the guys' section, though... this review is just for the girls/women's clothing. The store is huge and kept neat and organized by store staff. This H&M is located in the Roseville Galleria on the second level across Daiso and near Crate & Barrell. Currently their Summer Sale is going on - Up to 60% OFF [Jun 13 - Jun 27] Happy Shopping! Yelp
Really nice clothes but prices are a bit expensive but they have a great selection of styles and overall great store!

Yelp
Where has this store been all my life???? I went in for the the first time a few weeks ago hoping to find some cute clothes for my new job I am about to start. I needed a complete business casual work wardrobe makeover cause I'm a jeans & t-shirt all day every day kinda girl. Not only did I find a TON of things to purchase but the prices! I could not believe the deals I was getting! I bought 4 pairs of pants, 2 cardigans, 1 sweater and 4 shirts for just under $128!!! What a steal! My only complaint was the changing rooms... there was a super long line! Also, the rooms are tiny and the lighting is TERRIBLE! Customer service was great though, very helpful. The cashier that checked me out was very nice and talkative. He had a great personality and added to my experience. I am now a H&M addict... It's all downhill from here. If I disappear for a long period of time you now know where to find me.

Yelp
Worst experience today went in 30 minutes before closing got what I needed went to pay my items rang up differently then it showed online and the online add says the price is online and in store the girl was very helpful but asked her manager Miguel or Michael I think his name was if she could match the price he came up with an attitude and stated it is not his stores pricing I proceeded to ask why it says it's in store and online then if they can't match there own company's pricing he said he couldn't do it I asked once again for a clear understanding why he couldn't when the add says in store and online ignored me when I asked why he was ignoring me he said with an attitude I heard you the first time and walked away he was very rude and I never leave reviews but this man needs some training in customer service especially if he's a so called manager couldn't even give me a straight answer as to why he couldn't match the companies pricing I'll for sure be contacting the district manager asap I'm definitely done going there I get better customer service at the Folsom location

Yelp
Extremely disappointed in this store. Lack of customer service skills from employees, no store greeting or asking if I needed any help and no dressing room attendant. I've been to this location before about a year ago and had better results which is why I was extremely disappointed this trip. While the store looks stocked it is mostly stocked with small sizes like size zero and size two. It would be nice if they kept the larger size in women clothing in stock too. When I inquired about a dress I wanted to buy but it had a snag, since they had no more left I asked about ordering online. No offers to ship to store or a discount on shipping or even to help place the order for me. Leaving the store disappointed and I guess if I wanted the item it's better to buy online. I don't think I will recommend this store anymore.

Great place for shopping for adult and kids clothes

Yelp
I love H&M and the affordable, stylish clothes they offer. But this H&M is so dark, crowded and messy. I rarely find anything I even want to try on since the set up is so disorganized and chaotic. I love going to other H&Ms which are clean, organized and easy to navigate. It's worth stopping by occasionally but sadly it's normally a let down.

Marisa Marie M.

Yelp
Isaiah was very helpful and has great customer service skills. He went out of his way to help me get me a specific jacket in store. It was the last jacket in the store and he managed to get it for me. I asked 2 employees before Isaiah helped me. Those 2 employees didn't go out of their way like Isaiah did!

Yelp
There was not alot of people, and the stuff is sorted out, I was expecting more things to be there, I probably just came on the wrong time

Yelp
Wow. I normally don't even write reviews for retail stores but this one, I just HAD to do. Blake, who was the cashier was such an amazing help. He really went out of his way to show outstanding customer service. His patience? Don't get me started. Soooo patient that he would probably still be helpful in a room with 20 kids throwing fits. Such an amazing person and his service really went above and beyond during this hard time. Not many people are as nice or sweet but Blake definitely was! Thank you for signing us up to be members of H&M and explaining how it works. Trying to save us money with a smile. Thanks Blake! You're amazing and deserve so much amazing things during times like this! Keep doing you and being you!

Yelp
horrible & hot as hell in roseville galleria no dressing rooms open, lines out the door

Yelp
Took my niece here to get some new clothes. The store was a mess and no one there to help. Selection was limited and not a lot of sizes.
google avatar

Rianna S.

Yelp
I'm sure this location is just fine and the manager was very nice but my issue lies with a H&M policy that doesn't allow you to return undergarments or bathing suits without the protective seal. I drove 40 mins to the nearest H&M- I had the receipt, all the tags were still on the item and I had my card I purchased it with. Because of Covid the dressing rooms where closed so I never got to try it on before buying and now I can't get my money back. This policy makes zero sense. The "protective seal" is a sticker! Those things come off all the time and I genuinely can't say it was even on the item when I bought it because I never even got to try it on. During such stressful times as this is is extremely disappointing and unacceptable for a international corporate business to not allow a return because of a sticker that they can't guarantee was on the item when I purchased it. And lastly this is a policy that only applies to WOMENS CLOTHING I mean talk about sexist!

Yelp
I was excited to hear there was an H&M at the Roseville Galleria and I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. They have TONS of options and lots of cute stuff. I liked how one section was a little more trendy and one section was more classic. The accessories are amazing and super cheap. As for the sizing, that's true of all clothing manufacturers. Every brand has their own sizing chart. I've never had an issue. The dressing rooms are great but I've never been to a clothing store that's had good dressing rooms. At least these aren't as packed as they always are at Forever21.
google avatar

Mei W.

Yelp
I always walk in with a mindset that I'm going to find something cute from here but always walk out empty handed! They always have cute clothes out on the mannequins which is what lures me into the store. One thing I don't like about their clothing is that it's not form-fitting. I'm not trying to be a cheap skate here but for the quality of their clothing, I think the prices are a bit on the steep side. I could pay for a shirt at the same price at Nordstrom or BR outlet that will last me for years. Though on a lighter note, they do have great accessories such as scarves and purses! I did come across a scarf that was on sale for only $5!!! But too bad it started falling apart the second week after!! What a disappointment!

Yelp
Came in to spend a few hundred dollars since my new job requires at minimum business casual attire.I had already pre-shopped online with ideas in mind. So I had a general idea of what I wanted. I came in early a little before noon so that I could avoid the crowds and maybe get help if needed (even though I prefer to shop on my own) 1 1/2hrs later. Only one person out of the 5 associates in there spoke to me. The girl with the blue mermaid hair ran from me twice thinking I needed help, the chubby chick with horrible fashion/makeup sense pretended like she didn't see me several times, her boss, short with short blonde hair) never acknowledged me. Instead she talked to hr about what she the chubby chick did wrong on her latest clothes merchandising fail. Thank you for the guy with gauged ears. He helped tremendously. He asked the chubby girl about white pants he knew we sold and she insisted they didn't..low and behold they did have plenty of them on the front rack. I spent under $200 because the experience was frustrating..love their clothes but the customer service was below mediocre excluding the wonderful guy who assisted me. (Mind you there was maybe 5-10 shoppers in there the entire time)

Todd B.

Yelp
I went into the dressing room and found a 1/2 long tack going through my shoe and into my foot. I pulled out the tack and showed the dressing room attendent which seemed like I was a bother and said in a snappy ride voice "Sorry". No concerns on my injury or checking in on my foot. Costomer service does not exist here. I am older and worked in retail when the customer mattered. Not anymore I guess. I advise that if you go to H&M expect a drive through service Sorry I could not give a negative star to this place
google avatar

Pon K.

Yelp
I am a big H&M fan but this store is missing a lot. Like the whole Fall collection lol. Very unorganized, small space, very cluttered, and where are the workers?!! No one is ever around to help. Why don't we have an H&M in Sacramento?! It's like a roadtrip going out there.
google avatar

Jenny B.

Yelp
No comment on the service since the place was very busy and none of the sale associates were on the floor to greet people. My cashier was fast. Not cheerful. But just fast and efficient. Not like that was a bad thing. He kept the line moving. This store is really hit and miss for me. Some items I can live without or you can easily find it elsewhere. But once in a while you will find an extremely cute and unique top or dress that you know can't be found anywhere else. Some pieces have good material, while others feel cheaply made. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes even cheaper than F21 prices. Definitely more affordable than places like Express.
google avatar

Amanda V.

Yelp
The clothing is cute, though not the greatest quality. The staff is only helpful if you ask for help, but I guess it's nice they aren't breathing down your neck like some people in retail lol. More often than not, I walk out without a purchase. I like the European flair and generous discounts here, though! The sizing (in jeans at least) is smaller than usual (because it's European, I was told. So don't feel bad if you're a size 2 or 4 like me and you have to buy a size 6 here).
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite clothing stores. This stores offers casual to business to trendy chic. I'm actually a fan of their purses and jewelry because they're very simple and very modern. No gaudy stuff here! The number one reason I love this store is because of their prices. Sweatpants for $14? Ok...! Poncho for $29....? Ok...! Even though the prices are cheaper, the clothes don't look cheap. The quality is still there. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Like today, one employee told me that I can scan a product bar code in store on their H&M app and order it online in my size! Ahhh....snap.

Ashlee C.

Yelp
Doesn't enforce masks being worn properly, no sanitizing between customers, social distancing not enforced. Store itself is fine, it's handling of covid is awful
google avatar

Yelp
A line for the fitting room, and an even LONGER line for check out. BOOOOOOOO Deals are not good enough to come back again. Live and learn...
google avatar

Sohail Z.

Yelp
Very poor costumer service and they didn't provide us bag. The girls were in their periods and they had really bad attitudes. We don't appreciate it at all and I hope the manager should take care of it. And it was specially the girl with nose piercing.

Boutit 3.

Yelp
Terrible. There's no reason my shipment should take two months almost. That's bullshit. And COVID isn't a fucking excuse cause I work for Amazon delivering for them and we get shipments done so wtfuck is wrong with this dumb racist business. You guys suck!
google avatar

Yelp
What a horrible experience. There was a worker there GianCarlo who was such a complete jerk! While I was waiting in line for the dressing room for over ten minutes I changed my mind on several items to try on, there was a 7 item limit and I had over that. Since they were busy I decided to skip trying on the things I was iffy about and just try on 7 items. Once finally inside the entry to the dressing room I placed the unwanted items on an empty clothing rack. I told GianCarlo that I changed my mind and no longer wanted these items. He walked over to another associate and loudly announced that she shouldn't let people set clothing on those racks because it wasn't Target or (and he turns to look at me) Walmart. Needless to say I didn't purchase any of the items I was planning on trying on. GianCarlo, get off your high horse.

Yelp
Cute trendy clothes for CHEAP. Mostly women's clothes, though there IS a children's and a men's section. They just opened yesterday and there were tons of people there still at about 9pm on a Thursday. The line for the dressing room was huge and the music was on waaay too loud last night. Have I mentioned "CHEAP" already?! Located in the new addition to the Roseville Galleria. Upstairs next to Crate and Barrel.

Yelp
This place has cheap clothes and a decent return policy. Their customer service is hit or miss. If you go on a tuesday morning the staff is usually great and helpful, because they can afford to be. If you go at lunch time on a saturday, be prepared to dig through clothes, wait in line to try things on, and wait in line again at the register. It's just BUSY! I would never go to the mall on a weekend and expect NOT to wait in line. Don't complain when everyone else had the same idea as you, people. Patience is a virtue. You had better try EVERYTHING on. That 10 minute wait in line and messing up your pony tail is worth it! The sizing can be funky for sure. But it's better safe than sorry, I try on clothing everywhere. Yes, this store has much less selection than the SF stores. But it's ROSEVILLE! That's WHY you go to SF. Oh the shopping! HUZZAH! Oh and I almost forgot, the clothes are decent quality for the price. . .but DO NOT put them in the dryer. Hang dry it all! I'm serious! Especially you guys, unless you want a midriff, HANG DRY! WASH COLD AND HANG DRY!!!!!! And don't complain about this! it's better for your clothes, and the environment. Go green ;)

Yelp
The Swedes may one day rule the earth. First, they come up with Ikea, then H&M. Both stores offer attractive, stylish, inexpensive merchandise, and I couldn't be happier that both can now be found in the Sacramento area. I came to H&M shortly after its opening at the Galleria in search of work clothes. I bought a whole new work wardrobe for around $300. My eyes were bugging out at how cheap yet nice everything was. H&M has quickly become my favorite store.

Yelp
Large store with great selection. More organized than I've seen other H&M stores be. But the associate didn't give much notice to us- barely missed a beat talking to her friend the whole time we were checking out.

Yelp
After several years of asking girls where they got their cute dress/shirt/skirt/etc and hearing the answer, "H&M in the Galleria", I finally made it up the hill to check it out. I go through clothes pretty quickly because I'm a klutz so I'm constantly tearing, spilling, and otherwise destroying my clothes. For this reason, I'm fine with buying cheap clothes from places like Forever 21, Wet Seal, and Target because I know I'm going to find a way to ruin them before they wear out naturally anyway. H&M was disappointing, to say the least. The store was cramped and sloppily merchandised (which I can get over) and I barely found anything that I would actually wear. I grabbed up my usual sizes in some skirts, dresses, and pants and tried on the first seven items and nothing fit even though I'd grabbed a size up or down in some of the garments. The fitting room itself was a nightmare. It's co-ed, cramped, poorly designed, and a total pain in the neck. I spent the majority of the two hours I was in the store waiting in line. After my first round of potential purchases didn't fit, I chose sizes more carefully and held things up to me. I am aware of what size I am and take this into account for certain cuts and styles. I used to work retail and I know my sh*t. At H&M I ended up trying on a size TWELVE that was too small and a size FOUR that was too big - WHAT? Think about that for a second. Their sizing system is completely screwed up and does not at all reflect the generally accepted concept of sizing. It was like shopping at a thrift store or rummage sale. Over 40 items and over an hour spent standing in the fitting room line, I gave up and left empty handed and annoyed. If I'm at the Galleria for some other reason, I might stop in and see if I can find anything, but I won't be making anymore special trips.
