Sweetgreen Grabs a Sunny New Corner at Westfield Century City | Eater LA

"Out in Redlands, Hangar 24 is voluntarily recalling some of their beers after a bit of cross-contamination led to their flagship brews coming out funkier than usual." - Farley Elliott

Google
Very much based on the elements. Only 1 out 6 indoor heaters working. No a/c, no swamp coolers, only one flushing restroom for men (there is a porta potty sometimes). Restrooms are gas station level. Mosquitoes will eat you alive. Beers heavy on IPAs. It's been over a year since there was a sour here.... Luckily, there are nicer choices in Redlands... Many taphouses and breweries in downtown Redlands now carry h24 beer and they are out of the elements. Skip this brewery if the weather outside is ugly.

Google
We had an orange wheat beer, that was tasty. The other dark beer was pretty strong almost whiskey like flavor, very rich and would get it again. We enjoyed the Coaches Pit BBQ, loaded brisket fries, and pulled pork tacos. Over all very fulfilling and very tasty. The vibes where nice, the music was fun, the live music was awesome too. Good place to hang out with friends or of age family.

Hangar 24 has really grown over the years and still impresses me with their beers. The brewery has expanded but still has that small quaint feeling that it had when starting out. Recently came in and there was a food vendor doing Hawaiian food that was not very good. But the beer and atmosphere is still amazing!!

Google
I genuinely love coming here but was disappointed in this years Octoberfest event and left after a drink to enjoy my time else were. Decorations falling everywhere very sloppy. No music, no decent food to enjoy, food vendor scratching his private area. Who ever corninated this event simply didn't put any effort into letting families enjoy their time together. I hope next year will be better. Management needs to better attend to their audience. Hope for a better outcome next year!

My wife and I come here often and love this place. The beer is great. The place is dog friendly and we always bring them.

Google
Cool spot to grab some brews. On the weekends it's super happening. Even late night the place is buzzing. Outdoor seating and limited indoor sitting are available. The beer selection is good. A lot of year round beers, and seasonal or limited edition brews. If you get there when it's busy be ready to stand up. But still, you will have a good time. Cool atmosphere, you will have a good time. The staff is cool and really friendly. The drive out there can seem far, but it isn't, and at night it may seem a bit hidden, but once you get there, it's all good. Give it a try. They have events, which are always fun, check their website for up coming ones. Cheers!

EDIT: 10/5 Sunday: not only have they cut their Sunday entertainment (the discotech DJ that was here) , they cannot stock their own flagship beer (the orange wheat), while Riverside and Irvine locations had it stocked....this is absolutely unacceptable and disappointing for what should be the flagship, original location. Time to move on I guess..... Heavy on IPAs. Currently no sour beer. They have one unisex restroom for dudes to use. Occasionally there is a porta potty out back. It is fun to watch airplanes land and take off....they have bands on the weekend as well. They are cutting promotions to align with big name breweries (see Monday cutting law enforcement discount from 40% to 20% ) but they don't have the same amenities of the big name breweries they're trying to compete with (eg orange county powerhouses like ballast point, Karl Strauss, golden road) and The amenities suck even compare to their Redlands neighbors (see escape, ritual both have at minimum 2 restrooms with plumbing for men to use )... remember when they had a vending machine in the tap room? I do...... I guess everyone has their something...

Google
Beer, Beer, Beer. There's plenty to choose from and what I tried was tasty. The main seating area was in a tented outdoor area that did have some heaters. Not sure if this is up all season. The view is looking at the airport and the mountains off to the side. Plenty of staff on hand to help out on a Friday lunch time. They don't serve food but they did have a food truck at that time. Have to say, it's one of my favorites logo/t-shirt.

Yelp
Hangar 24 in Redlands never disappoints. The vibe hits that perfect balance between laid-back and lively--you can roll in after work, grab a table outside, and just enjoy the moment. The staff is friendly, quick, and they clearly know their beer. The brews are the star here. Fresh, consistent, and full of character. Orange Wheat is the classic, but the limited releases always surprise in the best way. The food menu has stepped up over the years too. Everything comes out hot, well-seasoned, and actually matches the quality of the beer--which isn't always the case at breweries. The outdoor space is spacious, the live music is a great touch, and it's one of those places where time slips by because you're just...comfortable. Hangar 24 is absolutely worth the stop whether you're a beer nerd or just looking for a chill afternoon spot.

Yelp
I really love this place! I've had Hangar 24 beer plenty of times before at bars, but they have a lot of beers at this brewery that I've never seen at other locations. The thing that makes this spot super cool though is that you're located right next to the local airport. Because of that, the spot feels very secluded and isolated from the rest of Redlands. Where else can you enjoy a cold beer on the patio with the absolutely beautiful sunset while seeing small planes take off and land. All of the beers I had were great (I got the sampler and then had 1 or 2 more after that). Also, we ended up meeting the head brewer (he was chillin on the patio with his beer after his shift ended) and he ended up taking our whole group on a tour of the facilities. This was a SUPER cool experience that I really enjoyed. If you're in the area and love beer this place is definitely worth a stop.
google avatar

MJ E.

Yelp
In the elements. No central heat, no central cool. One flushing restroom for men. Have a dong, be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes to pee pee....Mosquitoes Love this place, so be prepared to bathe in DEET... Love beer but not IPAs, look elsewhere. Very few choices not named IPAs. No sour beer. They had 2 experimental sours since 2020. Look elsewhere

Yelp
Attentive staff, atmosphere was excellent, the drinks were good, outside seating allows you to walk in with food

Yelp
Totally fun place to visit. I really like all the different events they host there. The outdoor seating is really spacious with a beautiful sunset in the evening.

Yelp
I have always been a fan of Hangar 24 especially this location. They have a cool outdoor space and live music depending on the day. It's a fun place to hangout with friends and always good vibes. They have a wide selection of great craft beers. You can't go wrong with their Orange Wheat - it's one of my favorites! Don't know what to get? The bartenders are friendly and always have great recommendations.
google avatar

Heber P.

Yelp
I loved the ambiance of this place. They had a DJ playing the classics, beautiful view of the mountains and the beers were delicious.

Yelp
Come here for the atmosphere and to just HANG. ;D All jokes aside, this is a really neat brewery in Redlands. We stopped in for a crisp beer at sunset. They had a large selection of brews to choose from. I was a bit overwhelmed but the bartenders were very friendly and let me try a few before making my final decision. I always appreciate when this happens. It's the worst when you commit to a beer you don't love lol. To be honest, I cannot remember the beer I landed on but I do remember the atmosphere was so chill. You could see the outline of the mountains in the distance. It was super relaxing and beer-autiful! I'd hang here any day.
google avatar

Vince G.

Yelp
Hanger 24 practically started the craft beer culture in the Inland Empire's. Their beers are constantly good, the atmosphere is super nice and food offerings are good.
google avatar

Robert G.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go to in Redlands. I love the beer, the ambiance, the locaition right by the airport (makes my kids happy to look at the planes), and the food trucks that come by. Definitely worth the stop! Bartenders are always friendly and helpful. They have a good parking lot, and bike parking as well.

PG F.

Yelp
The beer was good! The self service and multiple checks throughout our visit was annoying! Having to order with the QR code and getting our food at different times was not a great experience. I will not be returning! Plus expecting a tip to run food or drinks, with no added value was disappointing. I like to engage and reward our server generously in most cases. Disappointed overall !
google avatar

Steph G.

Yelp
This place was just the perfect way to spend Sunday with the family. It had such a friendly environment for everyone & as someone with kids I can definitely appreciate this! The food & drinks were great! I had the honey sriracha wings & I was obsessed! Also- very happy they had cocktails since I thought it was a beer only location. Can't wait to take the family back!!
google avatar

Gretchen H.

Yelp
Love Hangar! Their beer is the best. Orange guava is my favorite. Staff are really great. They often have food trucks, especially on the weekends.
google avatar

Sonic M.

Yelp
Used to be great years ago. The beer is still good quality with plenty of varietals. But as of 02/2025, so many changes - growler value is gone, to go orders from fridge get tip auto-added at times, menu w/current pricing is non-existent on social media or company site, poor mgmt and communication/follow up with customers. Smells like growth/expansion sapped some of their OG brewery soul. Oh well, there's other local breweries to enjoy.
google avatar

Crystal F.

Yelp
Love this place! It is family friendly and dog friendly. Lots of space to find a seat and hangout. Food is great too!
google avatar

Alicia D.

Yelp
Good vibes all around from the counter server's to the DJ. The day we went was Hollywood BBQ. It smelled good but the food was far from tasty. The rib ends tasted boiled with a very unflavored sauce. The brisket fries were drenched in some sort of sauce and not good at all. It was a utter disappointment not to mention a waste of 35 bucks. The smoker they had displayed was just that a display there was no smoke ring or any smoke flavor. What a shame
google avatar

Nikki P.

Yelp
Cool vibes all around. Sat outside, enjoyed the live music, watched some planes take off and even saw a guy paragliding in the far distance. People here are pretty friendly. Good pit stop if you're in the area or want to try some good brewskis! Recommend the orange wheat, it was bomb! Even bought a few cases of beer. Others recommended the guava and rotten orange, which were ok. For parking, you can park along the street. Be careful to not park in front of the peoples homes nearby. PROS: you can bring your pups, they have public restrooms inside, there is plenty of outdoor seating w/ shade, they have mist sprays to keep you cool, food truck is outside, you can buy their beers in cans/bottles, and they sell Hangar gear (shirts, beanies etc.) CONS: N/A

Yelp
Hangar 24 Craft Brewing in Redlands, California, is an amazing craft brewery. They offer a wide variety of delicious beers, from traditional lagers to hoppy ales and barrel-aged sours. Their core beers, such as the Orange Wheat, Helles Lager and Pale Ale, are all solid choices. But they also offer a variety of limited releases and seasonal beers, such as their Double IPA, Baltic Porter and Barleywine. No matter your preference, there will be something to please your taste buds. The taproom atmosphere is great, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is also tasty and reasonably priced. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. Love the location that is right AT the airport.
google avatar

Justin K.

Yelp
I'm not a beer connoisseur, so I shouldn't even be commenting but because I have gone here, I figure I would write a review. This place is in the best spot! Away from the town where light pollution at night isn't a disturbance. Quiet surroundings make the ambiance even better. Staff is friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is easy.
google avatar

Mark R.

Yelp
Decent beer. Ambience is that of a metal hanger building at the airport. No food available that I saw. Really nothing special other than decent beer.

Trafton

Yelp
Good beer selection on tap. Great environment and pet friendly. They have food trucks on occasion and live music and other events.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to ride my motorcycle and hang out with my friends. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
Great drinks, beautiful ambiance and very good service. Amazing place to have a few drinks and play some games.
google avatar

Sue R.

Yelp
Atmosphere was nice. Great views of the mountains and sunset. Beer was nice and cold, looking forward to coming back. Lots of games like connect four and tic tac toe for the kids!
google avatar

Anaid C.

Yelp
The location of this place is super cool! It's a pretty site day or night. It is a bit of a drive and next to hangers but pretty easy to find and plenty of parking. We went at night and it was pretty cold but they have an enclosed patio with heaters so it wasn't too cold to enjoy some beers. They also had a good vendor outside but we didn't try any. It was a fries vendor. We had never been here before so we got some flights to try it out. I loved the Guava and their Aventura in michelada. The porter was good as well if you like beers like that. I'll def be returning to check it out during the day.
google avatar

Kellsie T.

Yelp
Fun place to get brews and chill with friends. Vibes are always great and the atmosphere is dope!
google avatar

Estela D.

Yelp
It's a bit out of the way, but it's a chill spot to hang out and drink at. There's a pretty decent amount of seating, and the service here is quick. There's a good variety of beer options here, too. I recommend parking on the street since the parking lot gets full quick. I recommend checking this place out.
google avatar

Celia C.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I always have the best time when we come here. The staff is awesome and the plethora of beers you can choose from is awesome!!! Taco truck was there this time and they were so good. They are also selling hand sanitizers. We had to get one! Can't wait to come back!

Derek C.

Yelp
I truly love this place. Such a nice location, right next to the airport. What a great place to sit out on the patio in the afternoon, and watch the sun setting over the mountains. I know there are other H24 locations, but this is the only Hanger I want to Hang at. Truly awesome brews on tap, and an exceptional team of beertenders. Erin, Chad and Cassie are just the best. It wouldn't be the same without them. I almost hate to share this review, because the selfish side of me would rather keep this hidden gem private. But credit goes where credit is due; and this little hideaway is just such a great place. Doesn't get much better than this!

Yelp
Went to see a comedy show the other night and was pleasantly surprised! Not only do they have tons of different craft beer, but they also had seltzer's which was my biggest surprise! Everything is made in house and everything I tasted was delicious. Being across the street from private planes taking off is fun ambiance! They do not serve food however there are usually food trucks every working evening there. You are able to bring the food back into the brewery. The only thing that is annoying for anyone with a disability is parking. There's only one handicap parking space, and while this may be perfect for their regulations, it makes it hard to find accessible parking. People park curbside on the street, or in a dirt parking lot. Street parking required us to walk so far that we opted for the dirt lot. My husband has a hard time walking on loose gravel, so this was the ONLY annoying thing about this venue. Would I go back again? Yes! Do I recommend their beer and seltzer? Yes! Guava seltzer is my favorite and mango beer (it has a fancier name) is my favorite. Their bathrooms were clean and serviced. Great place for date night with cool swag for memorabilia. Next time I go I want to try the beer flight. It looked incredible.
google avatar

Priscilla L.

Yelp
Dope little brewery in front of the Redlands airport! The view and sunset is so nice. The beer is excellent and occasionally there is live music and food trucks! Outside and inside seating available & brand merch is sold on-site.
google avatar

Kevin F.

Yelp
Staff is always friendly and gives good advice on which beer to try. They had a good stand out there when we went and that food just hits perfectly with a cold beer. It was a nice day so we sat outside and were able to see the tv while we relaxed with our beers. We both had the taster flights and were able to try some stuff out of our comfort zone when it came to beer. In the end we bought a growler with the citrus beer (I cannot remember the exact name of it right now) and then a 12 pack of the American beer.
google avatar

Ron K.

Yelp
Love this brewery. Every time I'm in the area I swing by for a flight. I can't wait for the airshow day at the brewery to come back. It's been canceled till 2023 bec of covid of course. Great beer selection and always a food truck outside for food. Lots of open air seating.
google avatar

David J.

Yelp
A community favorite and landmark for some quality craft beer. Seasonal brews available throughout the year. Service is excellent. Standing tables to have some good times with good friends.
google avatar

Keri C.

Yelp
Closer to 3.5 ..... Came by for brunch with my best friend and fiancé on a beauty Sunday morning. Every Sunday they have the Brunch Club (food vendor) serving brunch options and the breakfast sandwich went great with a light and refreshing beer! Positives: - Incredibly nice employees! Very helpful - Good selection of beers - Dog friendly Other: I was surprised to see how small the attached patio seating area was but luckily they've converted the parking lot so there's plenty of picnic tables for people to utilize (also still ample parking on the street). Speaking of the patio, the music was SO LOUD we had to yell to hear one another. We probably would have stayed longer and for another beer if we could have conversed better. Lastly, unless you got a table on the right spot of the attached patio, there was no shade! I would guess that during the warmer months, they probable have shade but on this unusually warm 77* January day, it would have been nice to have more shade
google avatar

Erin S.

Yelp
We have gone to the Hangar 24 in Irvine a ton but never ventured out this way until just now. Super chill location with ample outdoor seating and a great view of the mountains. I love that we were able to do a flight to try some of the other options that we hadn't over in Irvine. They have food trucks come to provide the food which is awesome. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.
google avatar

Mylesha D.

Yelp
Getting there: Hangar is located on the far East side of Redlands. There an empty lot that they use for parking, so that shouldn't be a problem. Experience: I have always loved this brewery. Not only do they have amazing beer, but they have a great outdoor space and they've added even more due to COVID regulations. The taco truck has amazing food. I ordered 3 carne asada keto tacos and I was not disappointed. Who doesn't love beer and tacos? Tips: - If you want to enjoy the outdoor area, get there earlier than later because it fills up fast.

Yelp
fun place! went for trivia night on thursday and it was enjoyable!! would definitely go again, drinks were good too! not too busy the time we went thankfully

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Great place. Would love to see the return of "Spec Hops" on the menu. Over the years, it was by far the best brew in my opinion.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
I think it's really cool this brewery is in an old hanger and right across from a little airport. I just think it adds to the Uniqueness. Great beer! Giving 4 instead of 5 stars because I wish they had other beverages and some food so I can visit with some friends that aren't beer drinkers. I highly recommend a visit.
google avatar

Jill H.

Yelp
Came on a day that was absolutely packed due to an St. Patrick's Day event. Hard to find seating, but we did eventually find a nice shaded spot to stand (with a place for our beer) outside. Tried the Bramble Berry Latte, which was refreshing and different. The Chocolate Bomber wasn't bad. Loved the Laval the best. Awesome beer!!! Would enjoy coming back for another round of tasting. :)
google avatar

Yelp
Always a great time at Hangar 24! From their beer selection to their theme nights and food trucks! Everything is refreshing and delicious! A definite popular hang out for the locals!! My husband and I love coming out to relax and enjoy ourselves especially on Thursday trivia night. Great indoor, patio and outdoor seating! Great variety of food trucks that change daily. Totally recommend! Check out our YouTube review! https://youtu.be/DTLSJckpJEs

Yelp
Nice choice of brews. Open air setting across from small airport with Mountain View's. Decent ambiance. Nothing special. Service consisted of a guy at the counter filling glasses with your choice of brews. Enjoyable

Yelp
After returning from Lake Arrowhead, we decided to try this brewery out since I have been wanting to go for awhile. So I was excited to try tis place out. I have been to many other breweries and this place didn't really do much for me. I thought it was really cool that the brewery was located next to the hangars so you can see airplanes flying in and out but I thought it was actually located in a hangar. The atmosphere was pretty chill but there was hardly anywhere to sit to enjoy our flights. I didn't really have too many favorites after tasting 8 of the different beers which was disappointing. The staff was okay but not as friendly and helpful from other breweries I've been too which really bummed me out. So disappointed with my first experience which makes me sad.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Great views! One staff member was not the nicest but everyone else was outstanding cool. The beer is ok and nothing to rave about but the atmosphere is awesome with the mountain backdrop. Stay away from their hard cider sours- they are not good. The original orange wheat beer is probably my favorite. There was a lot of people around and there's a good amount of space but seems like it's gets a little too busy sometimes. There was a good truck outside which was nice too.

Yelp
Hangar 24 Craft Brewing is located in a quiet residential area with its own parking lot and street parking available. This brewery is dog friendly (dogs are available inside and outside on the covered patio. There are heat lamps overhanging, available for cold nights). My husband and I came by here with our little girl dog last Saturday around 3 pm. It was pretty crowded on our visit, as there were no seats available initially after we bought our drinks. Although other fellow Yelp members had mentioned that there are food trucks at this place (since this place does not really sell food, other than small snack size bags of chips, pretzels, etc), there was none at the time we arrived. So feel free to bring your own food like we did (and others around us). We ended up getting: Golden Bloom $8- My husband ordered this drink and liked it. I didn't have any. Root Beer $3- I opted for their in house root beer and thought it was pretty good. It had a nice smooth flavor with a nice balance of sweetness. ---------------------- (Total= $11, tax included) I liked that this brewery was laid back and the employee behind the counter was friendly. With the variety of drinks available, there are a few that my husband would want to try if we were to come back here (I am also curious for a few drinks myself). There is very few seating inside, but there is a large communal table, with bench style seating and also standing room available to place drinks on counters. There are 2 restrooms inside the brewery, the ladies restroom was clean upon this visit and adequately stocked with the essentials. The free WiFi available was quick and easy to get onto. I did like this place but probably would prefer to come when it isn't as busy.

Yelp
I wanted to catch up with a buddy since I was in the area (which I rarely am). He suggested to get some beers at this spot since its his favorite. They have a small dirt parking lot but most of the people park along the street. Tons of beers on tap which were pretty tasty. Space has indoor and outdoor seating and it looks like there are live bands occasionally due to set up.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here on a friday night and this place was packed!!!! People everywhere, inside, outside, standing room only, it was crazy!! What corona virus?!?! Fortunately for our group we were able to snag a table before it got too busy. They have a great selection of beers on tap, like over 20 of them. Not knowing what I wanted I ordered 2 flights throughout the night. From fruity type beers, to dark beers, to chocalate flavored ones to stouts to blondes and everything in between. They have a great selection to choose from!! The beers were all pretty good. Some were light and fruity, others were punch you in the mouth bitter and strong. But all were cold and refreshing. They have a food truck outside. But you order the food inside at the bar. Then they will deliver the food to your table. We ordered their wings as well as their pretzel. Which really tasted good. Their wings were just lathered in thick bbq sauce. The actual wing was juicy and cooked well considering this isn't a wing place. The pretzel was huge!! With a crunchy outside lathered in butter with huge amounts of salt on it with a cheese dipping sauce. The atmosphere was loud!! With local bands playing extremely loud music. Somewhat hard to carry a conversation even sitting at the same table. Nice that the outside patio area also had large screen tv's playing the Lakers vs Bucks game(which by the way the Lakers won!!!). Also they have heat lamps which was much appreaciated, and made the area a lot more comfortable. People are friendly here, just random strangers talking to you and striking up random conversations. Large family style bench seating too where you can sit with random strangers, to bar like seating with high top chairs to round high top tables for a party of 2 to a party of 6. Overall this place does live up to the hype!! It was a really fun place to just hang out, have a couple of beers and just have a good time. Beers were great and even the food was good. Not my type of music, but seemed like everyone else was enjoying it. And the prices are not bad. 2 flights and a pretzel for about $24. Definitely a must visit, and I will definitely be back again!!!
