Amazing food, amazing service and a good bang for your buck. I had the chick fried steak, the gravy was not what I’m used to, as a south Texas native but it was good! Hoe Fries were amazing!! My buddy had the chicken and waffles, and he thought the chicken was some of the best he ever had! Another buddy had the sausage skillet plate and loved it as well!

Great restaurant with a diner vibe. Menu is American / Latin. Prices are reasonable. Service is reasonably quick. Can't beat the location. Right on campus next to the dorms and medical center. Food is lackluster but one of the better spots near campus. Parking can be hard to find. This spot is either packed on the weekend or deserted on weekdays.

I have skipped over this restaurant on door dash so many times. Today, I decided to order from them. When I tell you this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had, is an understatement. The seasonal pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. How do you get that perfect cinnamon crunch on them? I also got the hoe Benny and a side salad. The Benny was phenomenal. The pickled onions shot a plain side salad out of this world. Whoever designed this menu knows simplicity , love, and what makes breakfast the perfect meal of the day. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, it’s been a while since door dash brought me anything other than average. This restaurant put my faith back in ordering out. I WILL be ordering, again. Do yourself a favor and don’t skip over this place.

I ordered the smothered and covered on grubhub and it was awesome! I almost didn't order because it was $15 and the picture on their website made it look kind of small. The portions are actually quite large and the taste is amazing! It didn't feel too heavy either.

Easily some of the best breakfast food i’ve ever had. This place was PACKED and somehow we got sat immediately and served super quick. Nicole was a fantastic server and was very knowledgeable in the menu and gave great recommendations. We had never been here before, but we will definitely be back. They need places like this in Lexington Kentucky. (Where we’re from.) I got the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend got the smothered and covered. Both were delicious and come out within at least 10 minutes of us ordering. I cannot rave enough about this place! Thankyou Hangover Easy for an amazing breakfast experience!!!!

This little diner is unique and has excellent breakfast foods! It was a perfect spot to have brunch with my girls and chat. The decor is also really kitschy and fun. I'll come again when I'm in the area.

Small and busy college breakfast spot. Found this spot passing through town. Food was average. Service was good. Fast and friendly. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was like fried chicken tenders with buffalo type sauce. I personally did not care for the waffles underneath. They got a bit too soggy with the hot chicken sauce and juices placed on top. I personality could not handle the heat on the chicken. Needed ranch. Should have asked for the sauce on the side. The chicken fried steak was ok. Eggs were cooked and served as ordered. The drink was the highlight. Their menu was entertaining with the creative food options listed. The walls were covered with cool and amusing jokes and wall art as well. We parked on the street.

Shoutout to Kurt and the beautiful host on duty. The stood on business over their HOE. I think somebody in the kitchen was having a rough day. But Kurt made it right ASAP with no issues and what stood out to me most other than his personality was the ownership that he took over the problem and the way he thanked me for coming back to let them fix it! lord knows Ima junkie for the HOE's. I love this place!!

First timer: the atmosphere was super fun with lots of references to the acronym of their name. The food was great, service was quick and friendly. Not pictured, my friend's chicken and waffles. I loved what I got, but the chicken and waffles were so freaking good! Can't go wrong with anything here.

Great place to grab some delish food. Once you walk in, you will install see why people talk about this place. The workers are great and there to help in any way you ask, but remember to always be nice!

It's been awhile since I've been to Hang Over Easy, but came on a Sunday around 1, parking was a bit annoying but there was no wait at the restaurant. I ordered a coffee and Bloody Mary for drinks. They were good, but I had to practically beg for refills of my water and coffee. Got the breakfast tacos with guac added forizo and my boyfriend got the avocado toast. Both so yummy, really filling. Just wasn't thrilled with the ambiance, and the service was really poor. Like I mentioned, I had to wave the waitress over to get more coffee, then again later for water, maybe it was the end of her shift but she did not care about checking on us. Good food though, just not my favorite place anymore.

Food was good, except I wish it was warmer/hot--biscuit wasn't cooked all the way. The server didn't look like she was happy. You can definitely tell when a person is in a good mood versus bad mood. It shows ALL in their face. My sisters and I all ordered the same food, but when server asked me "same question as hers" instead of "what would you like" girllllllll learn some manners....food was delicious, servers were eh.

Food is good. Staff seems like they are only interested in interacting with one type of person. Definitely a campus spot with campus vibes.

First lemme preface this by saying that this place is perfect for what it is: a greasy spoon breakfast place on a college campus. You get a lot of food for the money you spend and it's a great meeting place for breakfast (the morning after) and/or for brunch (when you sleep in). The service was ok, not great, just ok. The food was as you would expect, but keep in mind that they've got HOE-fries on the menu so don't expect a lot of gentility. They're a bunch of hard working people trying to keep up with gangs of people falling in the place with great regularity. Besides they give you the good hot coffee with both regularity and abundance. If you're by yourself I'd suggest sitting at the bar because it's quite the convivial environment that's just perfect for groups. A very likable place, just be ready for the energy that it provides.

We stumbled in this spot on Friday around noon. It was pretty packed and there was about a 15 minute wait. This place has so much character! And the menu options are pretty much endless. I got the breakfast sandwhich and it was absolutely delicious! This is definitely the perfect spot for breakfast after a night of drinking (hence the name).

Nope, no thank you, never again. I'll stick with the Cincinnati location. I decided to grab a burger after working night shift. I frequent Hang Over Easy Cincinnati often and decided to try out the Columbus location. Big mistake. This was not a smash burger. It was an unseasoned thick patty. Smash my ssa. Came with a thick bun. Should have sent this back.

The last time I went to Hang Over Easy on The Ohio State University campus, they served Pepsi products. Very happy that now they serve Craft made Sodas. Very happy with the Chicken and Waffles with HOE Fries and my friend and coach had the Avocado Toast with HOE Fries. Best Chicken and Waffles that I ever had. He enjoyed the Avocado Toast and both of us loved the HOE Fries, their version of potatoes. My drink was Cola Zero, the hand crafted soda and he got great coffee. I will be going back to Hang Over Easy again and check out their other locations too.

The service was very good. It took us a little to get seated but everyone was pleasant. The ambiance is similar to a diner and I just got a classic french toast and bacon so nothing stood out, but I was still apart of the clean plate club! I wish they had combos including protein with french toast/pancakes!

Hang Over Easy is a classic college breakfast and lunch restaurant/bar. I was there as the students were returning to school so lots of parents with kids. The food is good, it's a simple but solid menu, the service is great. The place has a great vibe and reminds you of where you would had as a staple when you were in college.

Wonderful wonderful breakfast! Had the corned beef hash which was tremendous. Had tasty buttermilk biscuits, sweet and fluffy French toast. Breakfast burrito was huge. All the breakfast items today were on point. Great service, bigger seating space than expected. Definitely would eat here again in a second

Delicious breakfast and great service. The food here is really delicious. They serve a variety of mimosas and we love this. The place is right by Ohio State University and parking is a pain sometimes. Pay for parking of course. You need to go for the food!

We wanted someplace to start the day off right! I'm a brunch girl, so taking me anywhere that entails brunch will always make me happy! After looking for places in the area, we found this unique spot! Their concept was greasy spoon and hair of the dog to start your day off and fend off that hangover. We loved it here! When you walk in, there are a million things to see. The walls are COVERED in all sorts of random things. We enjoyed checking it all out. Our waitress was so incredibly kind! She was quick to bring us our drinks and our food was pretty quick too. All of the drinks were perfectly made. They have a cocktail list to choose from, or you can order one of your own favorites. The food...holy moly! The food was amazing. Everything was homemade! You definitely want to grab the biscuits when you come! I chose a more traditional breakfast with sunnyside up eggs and extra crispy bacon. The home fries were so delicious! My travel mate chose chicken fried steak with gravy. I had never had it so I got a taste. It definitely wasn't my thing. But it was gobbled up quickly! We both agreed that the biscuits were delicious. Guess I have already said that though. We left with very full bellies and a smile on our faces. We absolutely would come back. If you are in Columbus, COME HERE!!

Needed to speak to someone after I placed an online order. "Zero callers ahead of you." But no one ever answered the hold. Food was just ok. It was a to go order and food was just throw into boxes. Didn't give us our coffee or juices.

Stopped in for an early weekday brunch and a bloody mary after a concert the night before. The top-shelf "local" bloody mary was pretty great (and fairly priced) but could have used more than a half-stick of celery as an add-in. But worth ordering. I had their "Hoebennie" (HOE-Hang Over Easy?). Okay to good but not great. The avocado was fresh and the best part of the meal. The eggs were "medium" rather than poached for some reason (TBF, it says that in the item description). The chorizo was okay. Side potatoes not bad. Service fairly friendly. Prices reasonable. So not the best brunch I've ever had, but not the worst by any means. The atmosphere/vibe of the place is solid.

You need to get here early or prepare to wait but believe that it's worth the wait. The place gets really packed quick. My sister had the Pollo Party and she loved it. I had the chicken fried steak. The steak was cooked perfectly, eggs and HOE fries were well seasoned. Get yourself some merch too while you're at it because they are hilarious.

Yummm, We stopped in here on our way back home and was not disappointed. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive although they were fairly busy. I tried the HOEburger while my husband had the Black and Blu burger, both were great. The kids had some breakfast items and there were no complaints from them either. Also the hoodie they sell is super comfy.

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered takeout, but asked to eat in the restaurant because I was in between work and an eye appointment. There were other customers eating at tables so I didn't think it would be an issue to sit down and eat. The girls working were very rude and seemed annoyed that I wanted to dine in. As I sat at the bar I noticed a strong musty stench that smelled like a mix between an under kept bar and sewage, however I tried to just eat quickly because I had 15 minutes before appointment and was very hungry. As I began eating I realized the takeout menu does not match the restaurant's menu. The takeout menu gives an option of "tots" however they are actually sweet potato tots (which I would never have ordered). I was hoping to just get full on the Rueben sandwich but it had very little meat, and the one tot tried (before I realized it was sweet potato was burnt and heavily salted). I had to get up and track down someone that worked there because they were preoccupied with cleaning up for the day (it was 2:10ish and they close at 3:00). When I asked to just have fries instead and she was very annoyed and wanted verification from the website. Once I was finished I placed everything in the bag, wiped any crumbs , and waited for the fries (this was at about 2:30). I did not see a trash can so I let them know that I was finished. As I was walking out one of the workers called out "I guess we will clean it up!" I really tried to lead with a smile and clean up after myself because I understand that they were about to close, but I left completely offended. The food was a 2/5 because the meat that was in the sandwich was good, however, the fries tasted like old fries recooked and were over seasoned. The customer service was a 0/5. I will not return to Hangover Easy nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

No matter how many times I come to Columbus I always make my way here. It is def a place to go to cure a hangover. The menu has a little bit of everything and the drinks are pretty good as well. While it can be busy on weekends and game days. It I surely worth the wait. The decor is nice and lively and even though the tables can be a little tight you always end up chatting it up with the tables around you. They are also great with carry out and delivery

I'm so glad I stumbled across this place on Yelp after my son and I finished our tour of THE Ohio State. It was amazing! I had the sausage party skillet, and my son had the cinnamon roll French toast. We loved both!!! Cute little place with friendly, hard-working staff. Will definitely return if he ends up going to school here.

Bloody Molly is crave able and the eggs benny were fantastic. My husband had the dirty and was impressed as well. Laid back atmosphere, with cool photos on the wall.

I placed an order through DoorDash, I have an dairy allergy and there is no option to get my order without dairy on the app. I tried to call to get my order updated, couldn't get anyone on the line. I called through my DoorDash order, and the woman on the line said I would have to place an new order (I would still run into the same problem), their phones were down thats why they couldn't answer the phone. She offered no solutions and was completely rude. Disappointing.

I got the cinnamon roll French toast, and my husband got the corned beef hash. Both were great, as were the home fries, though I might order those crispy next time. Service was good, though I'm not a massive fan of the layout, you end up sitting veeeery close to other people, but it's not a big deal.

I stopped by here while walking around, and boy, was it a good decision. We got in right before the breakfast rush.,the menu is a barcode scanner on the table. It didn't take long for the server to take our drinks order, followed by food, and even that came out pretty fast. The potatoes were so good I could have enjoyed that alone, lol. I would go back because I saw the waffles which chicken on someone else's plate, and it looked delicious

Pretty neat college breakfast spot. Stopped in with my daughter before Autumn commencement. A special alum and soon to be alum breakfast. We had two new menu items that were very tasty. A smothered sweet potato hash and chorizo sausage gravy biscuits and eggs. Both were very tasty. The service was most excellent. Could use a larger washroom though. Otherwise a great experience.

Amazing food, ambiance, and service! Fabulous menu with fun, creative names for dishes and drinks. A huge selection of Breakfast/brunch and lunch type items along with delicious alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options which is sure to provide a perfect option for anyone in your party. I had the CBH and a friend of mine had the sausage party. Both excellent and a perfect portion. We each had a specialty iced coffee too and grabbed one to go which was perfect to sip the entire ride back to Toledo. If you're in Columbus you have to give this place a try! You won't regret it:)

I've always heard good things about hangover easy so I thought it was about time to give it a try. We went on a week day so we were seated right away which was nice. Inside it has an old diner type of feel. The food was good I had the breakfast quesadilla and hind sight looking at everyone else's food I wish I got something more exciting but it was delicious non the less. I will say we got our food quickly but had to wait for silverware to be available which was an unusual ordeal. I also had a spicy Bloody Mary I thoroughly enjoyed on lunch, don't tell my boss.

I really like their food, and usually get the chicken chorizo skillet as a brunch entree. It's super savory, well cooked with crispy potatoes, and plenty of food to keep me happy well past usual meal times. I've also usually had friendly service, and they really make an effort to get food out quickly. However... why does "alternative, hip breakfast spot" always mean "the music is so loud you can't hear yourself think"? If I'm actually hung over and walk into this location, my head would be throbbing within minutes. If I'm sober and going with more than one person, there's no way to have a conversation. So I get takeout, which is always great, but generally precludes brunch cocktails and just... isn't what I want sometimes.

The food is overpriced. As a vegetarian, I ordered the dirty with the black bean patty. It was ice cold on my plate still. There was really nothing the waiter could do about it. The wait would've been too long to recreate it and there wasn't a microwave to warm my food. The hash is not as crispy as you would like it to be. The pancake was pretty typical, nothing special. It was a good try though.

I have been waiting to write my review for this place; it's the best breakfast I've EVER had at a restaurant! The atmosphere, location, staff, and food was outstanding! I always enjoy trying local breakfast spots when I travel and I can whole heartedly say that this is my all time favorite. If you are able, you have to try anything with biscuits!!! They were huge and delicious I could have eaten so many of them. Parking is easily located and accessed behind the building and it worked out great! Cannot recommend enough!

We had a great experience at HangOverEasy today! They do not take reservations, so I recommend joining the waitlist ahead of time. I found the waitlist underestimated how long it would take, so I would recommend putting your name in early. When we got there we were still seventh in line, but there were seats available at the bar so we sat there. The service was very fast and the food was amazing. The pancake was among the top pancakes I have ever had. It was big and fluffy and delicious. The eggs were also well cooked and seasoned. My sister loved her Hoe Benny. The breakfast potatoes were amazing and all the flavors complimented well. Overall, we had a great experience at HangOverEasy and plan to return soon.

This is a must try! Whenever we're in Columbus we always come here for brunch. It's absolutely popping on a Saturday morning and the wait times can be long (we waited almost an hour at 12 pm aka busiest time) but it's SO worth the wait. The servers are super friendly and very attentive and sweet although because of the sheer volume of customers they can get swamped. But don't let that pull you away from coming here because bottom line is the experience and food is spectacular and you won't find better hangover diner food anywhere else

Hangover easy is a classic place to go at OSU's campus. It's a perfect place to go after exams or after a night out! I always get the hoe Benny which is my favorite for sure. But there are so many options so you will definitely find something you like. Their drinks are great too. It's a little crowded but they usually seat you pretty fast!

This is a very cool place to have breakfast, I really enjoyed it. The friendliest service and tastiest food and drinks. I more than recommend coming here I want to go back again and again. Parking sucks like everyplace in Columbus. Great food fun atmosphere pace is always packed.

I had heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try. Parking was street parking, wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning surprisingly. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the french toast. I got a small side of sugared pears to eat with the waffles. I wasn't a huge fan of the french toast and the chicken waffles was alright. The chicken pieces with the waffles were small and not as crispy as I thought they would've been. The toast was fluffy and good with the regular maple syrup. The place has diner vibes which is cute but felt the seating was very jammed together.

Went here for Saturday breakfast and it was hoppin'! Hostess said it would be a half hour wait but it was only about 10 minutes which was a pleasant surprise. It's super loud inside but that's to be expected! Service was great and food was good too...basic diner offerings. I got a BYO (build your own) omelet with a biscuit (you get to choose toast, English muffin, or biscuit as your side). The omelet was great - highly recommend getting the hoe fries inside - yum! Wish I would have chosen a different bread side though, as my biscuit was burnt on the top. Overall a solid choice for the campus area.

Truly the perfect hangover food. Staff is friendly, quick, and the environment is enjoyable! Their breakfast potatoes are perfection and their food is always fast. Love this place and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun breakfast spot!

Love this place! I will add this to my repertoire of brunch places!!! What can I say it was alllll good. It was extremely crowded, but the wait was not too bad for a Monday morning. We ordered the chicken and waffles and I got the sweet potato hash browns and some yummy eggs and deliciousness!

Our daughter goes to school at Ohio State and we have been wanting to try this place forever . We could never get in!!! Now we know why!!! There were four of us for breakfast early on a Sunday morning. No problem getting in. The atmosphere is wonderful, so bright and friendly. The wait staff was very attentive. We all absolutely loved what we ate! When the bill came I was pleasantly surprised; I felt as though we had all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and it was absolutely worth what we paid for!! We will be back!!!!
