Hangry Dog

I was told about this place from a friend and decided to go try it out. The restaurant is in a strip plaza at the end in the corner. There are no restrooms there, but the hot dogs are 1/4 lb hot dogs! They are really good, loaded with toppings and soft bread. My friend got a taco and said it was really good too. It's clean inside and fine to order but there is only 1 table inside with 2 chairs. There is a bigger table outside with more chairs, but I think most people get their food to go. Staff is friendly, but they do get pretty busy. I definitely recommend if you like hot dogs.

Delicious!! I had a chili cheese dog wrapped in bacon, and my husband had the Hangry taco, and we loved them! The food came out hot and quick. We will definitely be back!

One of My Favorites. The workers are always nice and kind. The food is AMAZING! I’ve told everyone I know about this place and they all say it’s a favorite of theirs now as well. The fact it’s walking distance from me makes it better. I’m hoping maybe one day they could add Enchiladas to the menu Or Tamales. 😊

LOVED these dogs. We tried a hot dog and a burrito. The dogs were unreal. Ended up getting 2 more because they were so good. The burrito was a little bland, but I like a lot of flavor. But the hot dogs were insanely good. Def recommend this place!

An amazing mix of Mexican food and Hot Dogs! I loved every part of the food. The menu was simple and to the point. I will be going here again within a week or two. Smothered fries were delicious. Danger Dog: 4.5⭐ Chili Dog: 5⭐ Classic Dog: 4.5⭐ Loaded Fries: 4.5⭐ Street Tacos: 4.5⭐ Overall a 4.5 ⭐ on food, but the speed of cooking, price and order accuracy bumps it up to a full 5⭐ for me. I'd definitely dine in if it was an option.

The service was uncomfortable. The girl behind the counter barely acknowledged us and made it feel like she didn’t want to help. The man who walked in right after us was immediately greeted and given great service, which was very noticeable and awkward to watch. The food was good, but the service needs serious improvement. If the service matched the food, this would be a 5-star place.

We finally got a chance to try this cute little place out! We were not disappointed and wish we had gone sooner. We got the Sonora dog, the queso birria tacos, the danger dog, and the bacon and cheese fries! We loved all of it. The hot dog itself was huge and had such flavor so adding the toppings made it even better. I also loved that the hot dogs were stuffed with toppings but when you bit into it they didn’t fall apart or get all over you. It stayed out together very well. Highly recommend getting out to check them out. The food was yummy! Oh also, the owner said that in a month they will open the shop a few doors down to add additional seating so you can really dine in. That will be a great addition to the place too!

I reviewed this place over a year ago and at the time they said they were going to expand their seating. That still hasn't happened. The food here is really good. Today I had a Chicago dog and it was very tasty, if not completely authentic. The sweet relish is not neon relish as you would typically find on a Chicago dog. They could easily resolve this by buying pickles that are made in Kaysville called Story's Sweet Memories. The jars are sold at Kent's and Winegars. This is the pickle I use to make my own sweet relish when I make Chicago dogs at home. They only come in chips so I have to grind them up with a food processor. Regarding their menu.. they have a lot to offer. This place may be small but the food is high quality and is made quickly. I can't wait to come back and try a different item. I'm thinking next time, I will try the Hispanic side of their menu. Recommended!
