I love Hanji gifts! I’ve been to all 3 locations but the Koreatown location is by far my favourite. They have a huge selection of stationery, jewelry, home items, and ceramics. The team is always so friendly when I’m there and I really appreciate the free gift wrapping - it really helps when I’m running around getting a last minute gift. The new location even has a super fun Photo Booth and a craft table for customers!

This Business Exploits Hardworking People  Avoid at All Costs My name is Willie. I was referred by Naderr to handle demolition and disposal for a storefront at 645 Bloor St. The job involved tearing down walls and removing heavy glass hard, dangerous work that took me and my helper two full days to complete. I was promised $2,000 for labor and disposal. After finishing everything professionally and on time, I was never paid. Not a dollar. They didn’t cover disposal costs, didn’t offer basic respect like water during the job, and completely ignored their responsibility after the work was done. The only person who showed any decency was Nader who wasn’t even the one hiring me. He gave me $250 out of his own pocket because he felt bad. The actual owner disappeared without paying what he owed. I’m an American. I work hard for every dollar. I don’t have money to lose and I certainly don’t work for free. This was outright exploitation. If they did this to me, they’ll do it to you. Stay far away from this business.

I LOVE stopping by Hanji gifts whenever I am in Toronto. They have the cutest selection of cards and stationery ever! Highly curated and thoughtful. I love the pop up cards. If you are looking to brighten someone’s day - this store is a must to pick up cute little supplies to have on hand - cute cards and stationery go a long way - when you want that extra touch to elevate a gift 🎁 add a pop up card! But seriously - the card alone is like a gift. Super nice and helpful staff too!

Google
Such a beautiful shop with so many high quality things to choose from! Their pop up cards are like little works of art, and the gift wrapping is next level. My online shopping experience was also great and super easy. You can tell they really put a lot of care into their business. I am in love and really want to check out their other locations!

The gift wrapping service is always worth it. The shop isn't to big but has a great selection of stationary and great prices for cards. The employees are always nice and helpful, and the variety within the store is nice.

I absolutely love Hanji! They are my go-to for notebooks, stickers, agenda’s, stamps and crafting supplies. I am a nurse, and they sell my favourite pen for work; it is a the width of a regular pen, but has black and red ink, plus a space for lead as well. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and can wrap the prettiest package you have ever seen! I highly recommend stopping by!

My name is Oswaldo. Naderr recommended me to do a demolition and removal job for a storefront at 645 Bloor St. On March 17th, we began the job. Starting with the demolition of a low wall and replacing two panes of 8mm glass with two panes of 12mm glass, the job was risky because one pane of glass broke during the replacement, practically falling on us, and my helper cut himself. It was a physically demanding two-day job. I brought in a helper, completed the entire job, and was promised $2,000 for the work and removal. I wasn't paid anything. Not a single dollar. They didn't even offer a glass of water while we worked. I had to cover the entire cost of the job and the debris removal. The only reason I got anything was because Naderr personally felt ill and gave me $300 out of his own pocket, but he wasn't even responsible for paying me. So instead of earning, I lost money. Added to this, I don't speak English well, and finding work is already difficult. This wasn't just theft, it was exploitation. This person took advantage of the fact that I'm a migrant worker and is hiding to avoid paying a cent. If they can do this to me, they'll do it to anyone. Therefore, I warn you that these people are not to be trusted and will not make the stipulated payment.

Google
Hanji Gifts is hands down the best gift shop in the city. Even when I don’t need to purchase something, I love just going in and browsing all the adorable items. The owners are incredibly helpful and provide such a warm atmosphere and pleasant shopping experience. Hanji is also my go-to for when I need gifts for work events and all my colleagues look forward to gifts from here now!

Yelp
I happened to notice this store as I was going to Sarah & Tom. It's a cute store with tons of stationery, decor, paper and notebooks. Everything seems pretty affordable and at a reasonable price. They carry Amanda Rach Lee's notebooks and washi tapes which was a pleasant surprise. It's nice to see what they look like in person than through a screen.

Ana E.

Yelp
One of the employees at this business stole $55 from me off the counter where the register is and refused to show me the video surveillance even though there's signage in the establishment that there's video surveillance of every angle of the store. I've emailed and called several times to review the footage and nothing. I'm left with no choice but to leave a bad review. Please be careful of leaving your cash or credit cards on the counter. That was my mistake.

Yelp
I love this beautifully curated shop. I love paper, journals, stickers, pens, art prints, tapes this store has it all. I've found some very unique goods and gifts here - highly recommend. Amazing selection and reasonable prices.

Yelp
My girlfriend took me to this small stationary store to buy some envelopes for me and we got so much more than we expected. When we stepped in, we were met with stacks upon stack of paper and envelopes, with plates, dishes, and small trinkets on the side. When you walk further into the store, there are some gag gifts, and funny cards. If you go to the back of the store, you'll find fabrics and strings to choose from. Their paper and pens are of high quality, and ever since I've left, I've been meaning to go back. A definite 10/10. If you need some high quality bullet journals or good highlighters, Hanji won't let you down.

Yelp
Having done art in Korea, I think this store is a super cool concept. In theory.... Hanji, meaning Korean paper, has a unique texture and color. I used to use it to make Korean traditional jewel boxes and tea tables, but at this store, there weren't a lot of "authentic" Hanji products, which was a bit disappointing. They have cards and other cute stationery products though, but everything is a bit overpriced. :/ I think for the same Korean products, I would shop online or go to bigger stores that carry the same thing.
google avatar

Una W.

Yelp
Hanji offers not only beautiful Korean handmade paper, but a lot of artistic stationaries, cards and tea ware from Korea and Japan. They were truly authentic at a very reasonable price. I came on a Tuesday afternoon after work to do some gift wrapping. Yes, you can bring your own gift and they will wrap it for you with a Hanji of your choice(cardboard box can also be provided at a few bucks). On top of that, you can choice to add a paper flower or a ribbon. There were already many people in the store at 5pm but the customer rep was very warm and helpful. The gift wrapping was done professionally within 5 minutes and the outcome was definitely above expectation. My gift looked not only beautiful but way more expensive after the wrapping lol. For 2 cardboard boxes, two Hanji and two paper flower it took me $19. Not a cheap price but absolutely worth the value, not to speak of the attentive and professional service. I highly recommend it if you are sending a gift to an important someone.

Yelp
Here at Hanji, you can find cute, thoughtful and unique gifts for that special someone to celebrate all kind of life events. All these pop up gift cards are all so well made. And there are also other small gifts for someone that appreciate better things in life. I always have so much fun browsing around. And if you are shopping for someone special, maybe you should come to Hanji take a look!

Yelp
When you want to get someone a gift that they will be blown away by then definitely come here! Everything looks like you made it by hand - from the cutest cards - they even have those pop up ones that frankly are amazing. It's not just a card - it's a work of art. There is a variety of gift wrappings, school supply type items (but way cuter) like pends, agendas/journals, stationary etc. Almost so beautiful that I wouldn't use it but just love to have in my house so I can look at everyday kinda pretty. I saw some lovely looking umbrellas by the front door and some bowls/mugs on display. It really has everything. It's an eclectic mix of gift items (for you or someone else)! that can be found in here. One of kind items that will really amaze the recipient. Yes it's a bit pricey but the pieces are unique and perfect for gift giving.

Yelp
Extremely pricy for individual items (ie. sticker sheets, postcards). I got around 10 small items and it totalled to almost $60! Though the products were cute, I probably will not be returning. They do have adorable gudetama socks for about $6-7.
google avatar

Yelp
Products - amazing and beautiful. Loved the details. Shipped from Korea and local too, which was great. I got a few notebooks, envelopes, and socks. All so cute! Service - above and beyond! A girl named Wendy helped me who answered all my questions, provided support while choosing what to buy, gave great recommendations, and told me about the history of Hanji (Korean paper). Best customer experience I've ever had in a while! Will definitely return and have already recommended friends and family to revisit. Thank you!

Yelp
As i strolled along Bloor Street West, i saw HANJI, a handmade paper and gift store across the street. A PAPER store!!!! The last time i went into a paper store was in Japan, so i was curious as to what this store is about. With my cueiousity aroused, i decided to give HANJI a gander. When i entered the store, i was welcomed by a table display of potteries. Vases, tea cups etc were calling out to me to view them. To the side, there were a variety of really nice cards for sale. I usually love the PAPYRUS brand, but these cards were equally beautiful, and prices were decent. At the back of the store, papers of all colours, designs, and textures lined the wall. They were so pretty!!! I saw some displays of packages all wrapped up with beautiful flower garnishings instead of the usual ribbons. The lady working at the store saw my fascination, and said, "i can teach you how to make those flowers if you want." But of course i want!!!! I made an executive decision to be late for my appointment, and stayed to learn how to make those beatiful flower garnishings. While i was attempting to create my flower, the lady would also help other customers by offering to wrap and garnished the gifts for them. Going into HANJI was one of the best parts of my day. Such a beautiful store, quaint displays, and super nice lady working there. I have to go back to this gem of a place again.

Yelp
Hanji is an adorable, unique, sweet-as-apple-pie kind of store that carries everything that I love in a convenient location. They have hand-cut pop-up cards, vintage umbrellas, hanji paper (where they get their name from!), and a seemingly unlimited supply of stationary. A lot of their stuff is made in Korea, actually, but the actual origin of most of their products is a bit mysterious to me. If you come here to pick up a gift for a friend, you really can't go wrong with anything you choose. Everything is so lovely and your friend will probably squeal in delight. Alternatively, you can buy a myriad of things for yourself because TREAT YO SELF. Every time I go into Hanji, the same workers are there, chatting and having a good time. I think their energy really brightens the place up! On rainy days there are less customers, but otherwise it's hustling and bustling with people wanting to browse. (p.s. on a very rare occasion, the staff gave me a postcard for free! I am silently waiting for the day they'll give me another freebie.)

Yelp
"Hanji", according to Wikipedia, is the name of a traditional handmade paper from Korea made from the bark of a Mulberry tree. The shop Hanji opened recently in Korea Town, selling handmade paper and gifts. The back of the shop is lined with sheets of paper, some plain and some with vivid colours/patterns, suitable for wrapping gifts. There were also a selection of lamps made from the paper, with hand carved wooden bases. They had some other items made of the same paper and a selection of other gifts from Korea. They also had a few greeting cards and paper items from other countries, I noticed some stationary sourced from Sweden at the front of the shop. They had a large craft table set up at the front where you could sit and work on your DIY craft kits, were also for sale at the shop. (You can make your own jewelry boxes and a few other items). It's a nice looking space with modern interior, great addition to Korea Town - would love to see more shops like this opening up in the area!

Yelp
I love this shop. From great gift wrapping the wax seals, this spot is classy and aesthetically astounding. Do you want a unique pop up card? Need a wax seal for a letter? Want some pretty fn cute paper? Check out Hanji. Everything in this shop will leave an impression. In a time when emails and texts are the main show, snail mail and a little care for attention go a log way. If you want to get a message across quickly, send a text. If you want a message to last a long time, send a letter. This place will up your flirting, thank you card, job interview, resume, invitation game up 17 arbitrary points.

Yelp
DIY-galore. If you are a fan of DIY or stationary or just need things for school or gifts, this is a place you need to check out. They have an assortment of papers, gift wrap, agendas, pens, bookmarks, twine etc. for your DIY projects. The employees are so helpful and will provide suggestions and even tell you about some of their personal experiences with the product. Majority of the things are unique and items which you cannot find at your local chapters or michaels.

Yelp
This is a beautiful shop - great for gifts or for anyone who is into doing crafty things. It kinda reminds me of The Paper Place on Queen West. They have lots of cards, fancy Korean paper, stamps... basically anything you need to make nice gifts. They have several boxes and gift items that have 2 prices: they make it or DIY. If you want to DIY, you can call and arrange a class and then you buy the materials and make it yourself in the store (or at home). There's a big table in the front where you can work. They play very zen instrumental music, making for a calming shopping experience... When I went, the man at the counter was very nice. He took extra care wrapping my gifts carefully with pretty ribbons and tissue paper! He also gave me some stickers for free. I found the prices overall to be quite reasonable (unlike other places -- what's with greeting cards costing over $5 these days?!). Definitely worth swinging by here if you are in Koreatown!

Yelp
This little store on Bloor West in the Annex is a little jewel box. If you are like me and can't resist pretty stationary, cards, pens and pencil cases Hanji is the spot for you! Sometimes it gets boring buying the same cards from Indigo for every occasion and you want something more unique. This is the spot in Toronto if you want something out of the ordinary. The cards are beautifully cut pop-ups in many designs. They would be perfect for weddings - so many of the cards are romantic and sweet. I know where I'll be buying my Christmas cards this year!
google avatar

Jiao S.

Yelp
My New Year resolution is to write Yelp more often :) Yesterday, while I was walking as fast as I can in a "feels like -25" to get a hair cut in Korean town (which turns out to be a personal style disaster), this warm little paper shop caught my eye right away and I walked in. This store sells all handmade Korean paper (called Hanji). Comparing to Washi, (the Japanese made one), it looks thicker and more like cotton texture, can clearly see the plant fiber. Store also carries other beautiful paper related products like cards, journals, cute stickers and stamps. You can also DIY a paper box there.
google avatar

Ryan J.

Yelp
Popped in because I saw the store advertised in a magazine. Seemed like a cute place to grab a Christmas gift or two. Very unique paper items - cards, stationary etc. Loved the French music that was playing in the store and the two ladies that worked there were incredibly friendly. I ended up buying something and they gift wrapped it for free! Great little store, great service.

Yelp
It's such a delightful experience to browse Hanji. For anyone who has an appreciation for beautiful paper goods, this is the place to visit. Though, for my first visit... I actually came in here hoping to get some help with gift-wrapping. Thankfully, Robin was ever so gracious in lending a hand. She expertly took care of my oddly shaped item. I love how she paired the colours of the bow and paper. Everything was done in under 5 minutes and under $5 at that! Thank you, Robin!!

Yelp
Hanji is a charming gift store in the heart of Koreatown, primarily stationary-related but full of oh-so-clever fun and beautiful items that you know you want but can't justify having practically. So fool yourself into thinking that you're going to give them as gifts and then when you get home, you can decide that they're really too nice to give away as only you would appreciate them. Particularly acquisitive for me were the incredibly intricate laser-cut pop-up paper greeting cards and the 24-kt gold-plated delicately laser-cut steel bookmarks. Hanji's items are a little on the pricey-end but highly irresistable too!
google avatar

Teresa H.

Yelp
Another awesome stationary store in ktown! They have all these cute planners, journals, postcards and more! I think most of their products are imported from Korea so that's why their prices are high. Some of their items are currently on sale..I picked up a planner for just 17.95! And if you're buying something as a gift, they will gladly wrap it for you! And the guy there does an excellent job at wrapping too :)
google avatar

Yelp
This store brings out the inner-child in me. Everything they carry is beautiful and inspiring and I've never had a bad experience.

Yelp
Having grown up in this city, I have my established favourite shops since high-school and childhood. Courage my Love, Soundscapes, Pages (RIP), Magic Pony (psst- they are opening a new shop and also a gallery soon, one at Dundas and Keele and the other at Dundas and Davenport! Can't wait!) and the list goes on. Hanji is a contender for this sacred list and would fulfill the paper/stationary/unique gifts category. I also like The Paper Place, but I'm keeping it hood for now... Anyway, when I was a teen I LOVED stores like the Outer Layer and Red Pegasus. These are very "Toronto" and have a blend of nice products with a touch of cheeky/ironic stuff. Hanji is not like this at all. Less cheek and more charm. I walk into this store and feel calm and sincerely blissful. There are delightful and well-priced items that instantly speak to me. Most items are from Korea and I basically want everything in there -- the message in a bottles, the puzzle cards, the miniature food magnets, the mini Polaroid postcards by various Korean illustrators... Oh I just love their cards and postcards. I also love my notebooks, file and document folders and other more whimsical finds from Hanji. I appreciate that this isn't a super upscale, modern or pretentious type paper shop. It's cheap, cheerful and exceedingly CHARMING. The couple who own it are really nice and also offer DIY sessions right at the front window table.
google avatar

Kanika S.

Yelp
A small shop in Koreatown carrying many unique types of Hanji (Korean traditional handmade paper) and many other types of Korean products, housewares, stationery, etc. This shop reminded me on an area in Seoul; Insadong where you can find many handmade paper and ceramic crafts. Beautiful store, worth a visit if you're looking for unique gifts & stationery, handmade wrapping paper, and ceramic housewares.

Yelp
I stumbled in here during an afternoon stroll in the neighbourhood. Who doesn't like stationery?! Hanji offers paper items like lamps, stationery and greeting cards. My friend's birthday was coming up so I decided I wouldn't leave Hanji until I found an appropriate birthday card. The mini cards right by the door were too cute for me to handle. I did a couple of laps around the store making sure I got a good idea of everything it had to offer. In the end, I settled on a boring letter set - lined paper with envelopes. But wait! This set included a four-leaf clover! Not only is my friend's birthday close (enough) to St. Patrick's Day, this Leafs fan also owns an old Toronto St. Patricks hockey sweater. How perfect. Disclaimer: these four-leaf clovers are not real, but they certainly look natural (from afar). Cool stuff!

Yelp
I ordered some gifts for the holidays and was so impressed by the quality of the products, and how quickly the order was sent out. I also received a beautiful thank you note. I love their products, and the pricing is very reasonable. I would sincerely recommend Hanji Crafts to anyone looking for beautiful paper products!

Yelp
WARNING: YOU CAN SPEND YOUR WHOLE DAY HERE!!! This store is a must if your in the area of KTown. Upon walking in to the store you will be greeted pleasantly by the array of unique and beautiful cards and stationary. They also sell Korean motif mirrors, chop sticks, and other types of accessories. In the back are beautiful handmade paper, boxes, and stamps. This is a wonderful place to shop at, especially if you want to buy a unique greeting card for a special somebody! The owner is also really sweet and personable, she wrapped my gift up beautifully free of charge! The store also hosts workshops on how to book bind and paper mache boxes.
google avatar

Yelp
Let's dispense with all the wind-baggish detail about the excellent service and brilliant cards and paper products and simply say that Hanji is an utterly delightful must.
google avatar

Yelp
Needed to get my sisters bday gifts wrapped and sorted out. Walked into Hanji, dropped off the items on the table and told them to do their worst. Arrived a few hours later to find a gorgeous job done. Everything boxed, wrapped with a beautiful bow and a great gift bag. Ended it with a gorgeous card (that had a cool pop-up paper flower on the inside). The gift and the wrapping were a huge hit and I will now be returning to Hanji for all my gift accessory needs. Great service, nice store and they just made it very easy for me. thanks guys!

Yelp
I love this store! I noticed it today for the first time. I don't know why I never noticed it before, but probably because I only go to Ktown when I'm hungry and have a one-track mind to put food in my belly. The store is truly one-of-a-kind ~ I'd describe it as a more mature, sophisticated and upscale version of Morning Glory (is that store even still around??). It carries Korean products and stationary, things that you would not find elsewhere. I could have stayed in the store for hours, looking at the various knick knacks and beautiful handmade paper. This store makes me want to do crafts and make pretty things that are Pinterest-worthy ~ anyone who knows me, knows this is not my hobby nor my forte! The owner was at the store today. She was very kind and helpful ~ she let me explore but was available when I needed assistance. I ended up buying cute tags for my friend's bridal shower favours. The only reason I didn't give this store a perfect score is that I found the prices to be a little steep for my liking. I say that but I guarantee you I will keep going back and buying a million things I don't need! If you are looking for unique items for your home or gift cards and wrapping paper that will make a statement, check this place out!

Lillian G.

Yelp
Very cute shop with a variety of beautiful journals, cards, papers, stationary, etc. The people who work there are so friendly and welcoming and will also wrap your items that are gifts!! Definitely worth to check out if in the area!!

Yelp
I came in looking for a gift bag, which unfortunately they don't carry, but discovered some other fun things. Their paper runs from about $6 per sheet up to around $13.50, though there were a few more expensive options. Most of the paper was on sale for buy 2 get 1 free. Aside from paper they have a small selection of cards, lamps, and a few other household trinkets. February Food-Free Yelping Challenge 17/29

Yelp
This place is gorgeous and it stocks wonderful things--when I went in, there were several people just browsing and talking quietly to each other. It feels like a very meditative shop. The craftsmanship of the items on offer is clearly evident, and prices seem very reasonable for handmade goods. And if you want to cut the price a bit, you can always purchase one of their kits and assemble the products yourself (you can even do it in-store for a $5 glue-and-seating cover charge). The staff is a bit pushy, though--I'm pretty good at evading chatty salespeople, but the friend I was with got sucked into a conversation that ended in the salesgirl trying to convince her that she needed a $70 leather iPhone case. Admittedly, it was a beautiful and useful gift, but not really something you buy on impulse.

Yelp
Love Hanji! Tried both locations and always find unique stationery items. They are my go-to for greeting cards, but also for small gifts like tote bags, handkerchiefs, stamps, and little notebooks. The owners are lovely & I wish them all the best!

Yelp
Terrific, stupendous, wonderful, and amazing. My only lament is the time I spent consoling my wallet after I, albeit willingly, emptied it at this spectacular establishment! Wonderfully friendly Catherine was a delight, answering any and all questions I had. Rest assured, I'll be back for more VERY soon!

Yelp
This store just opened at Bloor and Dundas West, and it's immediately become our favourite little shop in the hood. My daughters bring all their friends here and the owner is always lovely. The items are stunning and whimsical and unique. Even though they've been open for less then a week, they were very happy to donate a generous gift basket for my daughter's school concert (and yes, she wants to bid on it). So happy this store is here, a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood.

Kiki R.

Yelp
It's beautiful in here. The owners are so kind and lovely, the items for sale are all gorgeous and unique. The place is well priced considering quality, I feel. They do workshops which I'm sure are really great. They're very helpful and genuine here. Be sure to take a browse through here when you can and support these lovely folks. Also, they sell a kind of super-glue here called Loc-and-Loc, it's Korean, possibly made of magic - recommended if you uh, need to really glue something to something else.

Christine N.

Yelp
Cute little store that offers beautiful paper products! They'll also gift wrap for you if you ask, and the gift wrapping was beautifully done.

Cara R.

Yelp
This is such a lovely little paper, card, stationary gift shop. I can't walk by this shop without stopping in. Perfect if you're looking for a gift. And perfect if you want to charm yourself with a nice pen and some old-skool paper or notebooks. I recently discovered that if you purchase a gift box or wrapping paper, they will professionally wraps your item. I even bought a robe for my grandmother at another store and they changed me $5 for the most lovely wrapping job I've ever seen. Friendly and warm. I will keep stopping by his shop, again and again.

Yelp
If you are anything like me and spend hours browsing stores like Chapters you'll love this place ! Well I don't know if that is a fair comparison as this place is nothing like the branded items you find at Chapters. I came after work late in the evening and the atmosphere inside was enough to put me at ease. The store is quite small so I really don't understand how I ended up spending nearly an hour in there ! They have quite a few items I had seen online but could never find in stores. There were quite a few Alice in Wonderland and Le Petit Prince Vintage items to be found. I picked up a really cute handmade card for my friend, a couple of sticky notes as well as a pen for $30 ! The prices are a little steep so it adds up quickly. It's a wonderfully adorable place full of unique items and I can't wait to go back.

Ben B.

Yelp
Perfect for gift shopping! Their array of goods is all so fascinating, and the gift wrapping service is fantastic. The owner is a delight to talk to, too!

Yuliya B.

Yelp
I love this shop. They have lovely stationary from Korea as well as a large assortment of greeting cards and gifts. I'm a huge fan of the little prince and was thrilled to discover they have several LP themed items. The owner also does workshops where you can make your very own handmade journal from hanji. Makes for a great gift or a lovely activity to do with friends or a date (if that's your jam).

Yelp
Great store! So many unique and cool things here! I go bought sealing wax, which was in great condition and the lady was very kind and helpful, but knew to give space. Things can be pricey, but they are rather reasonable. Definitely worth visiting.

Yelp
This place is amazing. It has everything you could ever want for journals, diaries, agendas, cards, art journals, scrap books... It keeps going. The staff are so friendly, as well. Perfect for gifts or even just for yourself. This is the absolute place to go if you're into these products.

Yelp
This place is wonderful! The couple who run this shop are very sweet! Their stationary is beautiful, and there's lots of variety! They are also super helpful when you need help picking out that special something for your loved ones, or something for yourself. They offer unique cards, beautiful delicate papers, stamp pads, cute stamps and so much more! Their prices are also fairly reasonable for imported goods! They also offer a crafting table - you can book and reserve a spot with them for a fee and you can purchase materials for different paper craft projects to work on. Catherine was kind enough to guide me through a simple bookbinding project, and another time helped me make a beautiful mirrored jewellery box and a handheld mirror for my friend. This store is located in a row of Korean eating places - and directly across the street from snakes and lattes.

Yelp
Hanji is an ideal place to find unique and irresistibly cute gifts and stationary. In this predominantly Korean stationary store I was really surprised to discover some European themed stationary that brought me back to my childhood. There is a great supply and selection of adorable cards, gift papers, notebooks, calendars and novelty items. I highly recommend the spot to any stationary addict.

Yelp
I buy all my cards I sent to my family over seas. They also sell great quality paper, notebooks and Agendas.

Yelp
We were up visiting Toronto from NYC over the holidays. This place was amazing. The paper products were stunning and beautiful, and the cards are magnificent and inexpensive. We suggested they open in NYC to compete with Papyrus and Kate's, which sux and are waaaaaaaaay overpriced. Hanji would CRUSH it down here. Open in the Village!
