Easy to order! Beautiful and delicious cakes. Strawberry lemon, passion fruit, chocolate cake and cappucino were all amazing. Moist cakes with thick layers of buttercream- it was very tasty and bursting with flavor. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

I ordered via email and the the bakery staff was helpful in deciding what to get and discussed what I was looking for. I loved how easy ordering and paying was! The cake is even more beautiful than the inspo pictures. It was so tasty as well, my whole family was impressed. This is an 8 inch heart shaped cake with chocolate cake, funffetti cake, and vanilla mousse. So light and delicious and fresh. We'll be back!

Our venue Manzo's works with Hanna's Bakery for weddings & we decided to go with Hanna's.. I AM SO HAPPY THAT WE WENT WITH YOU!!!! We went for our tasting earlier this year. Me and my husband fell in love with the strawberry/vanilla cake. So light, airy and not too heavy on the frosting. I love that they are a Polish bakery as my wedding did have a lot of family. they LOVED the cake and so did we. They made it so beautiful. Please go to Hanna's. You will not be disappointed.

I was having an event & needed a cake with no nut cross contamination. They were the only ones that assured me of this. The cake was delicious, so moist & light, the buttercream was amazing, light, not lady or super sweet. Overall I would highly recommend them. They were a bit pricey, but it was worth it!

The most delicious bakery!! Their bread is exceptional. The pastries and baked goods are also excellent, especially the strawberry rhubarb crumble. I come here multiple times per week for fresh bread, and everyone is always helpful and friendly.

My family picked up 2 cakes to celebrate a birthday, the mango passion fruit and the lemon cake. We were blown away. The lemon cake was beautiful and delicious. The mango passion fruit cake was nothing short of magical. The hazelnut cake was so light and airy and the perfect compliment to the sweet mango. I’m normally a Black Forest cake person….but this cake will live rent free in my head forever. Our family has decided that moving forward every birthday cake will be from here. We took orders for the next 2 people whose birthdays are coming up. We were blown away.

My friend and I found this Eastern European bakery after shopping in Bloomingdale and Carol Stream on a Saturday. Unlike many bakeries which close in early afternoon, they close at 5. They had an array of pastries to choose from, and you can also order cakes, including wedding cakes. My friend got a rum ball which she said was really good, and I got a pistachio raspberry tart; the pistachio cream and raspberry topping was delicious, but the tart shell was tough as old boots, to borrow a phrase from "The Great British Bakeoff": I couldn't cut it with either a knife or fork! They also sell a small array of grocery items from Poland, but not much in the way of ready-to-go beverages, which would have been nice to see.

Had a team party so I saw this bakery on the way and stopped by. It half bakery and half grocery polish store. There's a lot of great bakery options. I got the fruit tarts and they were really good maybe needed a bit more tart but other than that they are fairly priced. The workers were very friendly.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! We had a mishap with our own cake so we had to toss it and I desperately called hoping a bakery could help us out last min. They were the first to say yes and were not too far. HUGE MISTAKE! First, the woman who answered the call didn't speak English well and wasn't understanding my order so I made sure to specify in detail what I wanted multiple times. I wanted a traditional red velvet cake, with cream cheese icing, absolutely no decoration on the cake, minimalist, and Happy Birthday written on the board. I said "no decoration", "cream cheese icing", "do not use that other icing" (she first told me it didn't have cream cheese icing and whatever icing she said I told her absolutely no), "no decoration", and "minimalism" multiple times. She then handed me to someone else who I repeated the same instructions to be very clear what I wanted. I thanked them for being able to help save the day last min and we set a pickup time. I show up the next day and out walks a cake with red crumble all over it. I told her that wasn't what I ordered, repeated AGAIN what I wanted and she brought it back to be fixed. Out walks my fixed cake along with a woman who pokes her head out to complain to me how they priced the cake incorrectly (it was more for less work?) as if I made that mistake. I said that was fine I'll pay the difference and she just said it was "information for next time". They then show me the instructions they wrote down, to blame me for the mistake on the cake, as if I wasn't clear what I wanted, and all they wrote down was the word "traditional". Fine whatever I had the cake now I needed to go. It gets WORSE! We cut open the cake to eat it and, sure the center icing had some cream cheese flavor, but it was a custard! It had a thick gelatinous texture. And to top it off, the icing on the outside was the icing I was very clear we did not want. The combination of the two icings was disgusting! We all took a bite or two and couldn't eat it. We honestly would have been better off eating the cake that got ruined out of the garbage it tasted that bad. I can't stress this enough, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! They are awful and the cakes DO NOT taste good.

Went here for an offer and walked away with more goodies. Staff behind the counter is nice but also limited so they will want to move you through the line. Have enjoyed bread and savory treats. The 'sweets' are European style so not as sweet as some might like but still quite tasty. Give them a shot!

As an update to my earlier review the owner of Hanna's contacted me personally and refunded my money. I am very grateful for the way they handled the situation and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Kinga!!

I received a little cake on Mother's Day as a gift for my children and it was the most beautiful little cake I ever had I just couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. In addition it was very tasty and moist inside. We will definitely be ordering from this bakery in the future.

The staff is extremely nice and they work hard. Plus the cakes and snacks there are really good they have lots of tastes and more. It's also really relaxing in there and not crazy people screaming at the staff. Over all the place is just in general a great place to shop at for foods cakes and treats!

Food is amazing and the service crew are really friendly! I highly recommended this bakery! All the food we ate are freshly made and hot when it was served!

This place does deserve actually a 5 star rating for the products that they produce. Have wonderful croissants as well as cheese filled crepes... It's just if you are not A Polish speaking person, They tend to Treat you differently. I'm sorry that I have to say that. But anytime I had gone in there that was the way they made you feel. I'm all for diversity but i'm Also someone that treats every individual the same.

Staff was very helpful in helping me plan out and pick out the kind of cake I wanted for my besties birthday.She was very patient with my indecisiveness. Ended up ordering a chocolate cake with chocolate and strawberry mousse with strawberry filling. It was 75 ish in total for a pretty big cake, so it jiji it was very reasonable. The cake itself was moist and spongy it was very delicious! She followed the inspiration photo pretty well wish there might have been a little less pearls and smaller sizes and more strawberries. But overall was satisfied with my purchase.

The desserts are divine but the service we received from the black haired girl just now was unacceptable! My mom is in from Texas and I couldn't wait to bring her here to pick out Thanksgiving desserts. She scolded us for not knowing exactly what we wanted and kept rolling her eyes at us. Ruined our experience!

Came here for the first time to check it out. Was unaware that it's a Polish bakery but okay with it either way. You walk in and are greeted by a service desk to order cakes which I was rudely stared down by who appear the be the owner/manager. They had one girl working the counter/pastries while there is a line six deep. Other people are just roaming around in the back. The fill is very light on the pastries and the bread is stale. I definitely won't come back.

I ordered my son's 3rd birthday cake from here. It was sooooo delicious. We ordered the "strawberry lemonade cake", which was vanilla cake, lemon mousse, strawberry mousse, and we added fresh strawberries. We ordered a simple spider web design with red buttercream and put our own topper and candle on it at home. It was not only cute, but VERY tasty. Highly recommend this bakery to all!

Beautiful and delicious wedding cake and pastry set up for our sweet table a couple of months ago. Would recommend 10/10

FAT TUESDAY! The line was out the door and everything looked fabo! The bakery had to have served 1000 Paczki's already so we ordered one dozen. We still had 4 left by the end of the night which is unlikely for our crowd. The Paczki were good but not great. Underfilled and dry but honestly, they were so busy i would go back to see them on a "normal day" Clean, nice and friendly.

This bakery is A-mazing! The minute you walk in the door, you're hit with the most delicious smell EVER! I ordered a 10" round Jurassic World cake for my son's birthday! The over the phone ordering process was quick & easy. The cake had 3 cake layers - vanilla, chocolate, vanilla with fresh bananas w custard between one layer and fresh strawberries w custard between the other layer. The cake layers are light & airy! The whipped cream frosting was amazing! Besides the cake, I left with a delicious poppyseed roll & rolled waffles filled with fresh whipped cream....also amazing!

Picked up 2 cakes for my granddaughter & daughter's birthdays. Both were excellent! This is my new bakery for cakes! The staff were very helpful and patient with me. I asked a lot of questions.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We were referred to Hanna's Bakery by the banquet hall we were using for an event. The bakery was very accommodating the week of when we made a partial cancel to our multi cake order based on a reduction in expected guests at our event. The tier cake we received was absolutely beautiful and our guests raved about how good the cake was. I would recommend and plan to use Hanna's Bakery in the future as well.

Best cake I've had in a looong time!! I was at a wedding shower and Hannah's Bakery made the cake. Everyone was marveling at the raspberry mousse filling. When I learned who made the cake, I ordered a Tiramisu cake for my boss's birthday and everyone was fighting over 2nd slices!

I have driven past this bakery almost every day for the past 3 years and I finally decided to stop in. I was thrilled that they have a yelp check in offer which gets you $2 off. What I didn't know was that it is a Polish Bakery! There were tons of polish people when I went there, which is nice to have a bakery with ethnic food. I have tried several things there but my favorite desserts are the peanut butter cup cream mini pie and the chocolate rum balls! I have also purchased the peirogis and layered cake which were pretty good. Definitely try a few of the mini desserts if you go in! Everyone is very friendly and is happy to make suggestions. Plus their pricing is on point! They are so affordable!

Stopped by for a quick treat and such a delight...luv the smell of fresh bread when u walk in the door. Nice little seating area, tried the mango pastry and it was very fresh and true to taste. My colleague and I shared half a pastry and I got the rest home which was able to feed 4 other people.I absolutely enjoyed the sunflower seed bread from the bakery very crisp and crunchy after toasting. Checkin with YELP and get $2 off , remember to bring cash for less $10/ purchase.Certainly worth coming back with the very reasonable prices!!

Hanna's stuffed cabbage is really good, you get two fat ones with either tomato or mushroom sauce on the side. The stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce was full of nice lean ground meat, very good. The stuffed cabbage with MUSHROOM SAUCE was absolutely beyond phenomenal - for people that love mushrooms this is IT. Absolutely the best stuffed cabbage I have ever had. We also got a beet, cucumber and cabbage slaw salad they threw in. Normally I don't like beets but the way these were fixed were very good. All three sides were delicious. The food was fresh and tasted homemade. The bakery looked like Heaven, but since getting older we don't go in for sweets anymore. If you have a sweet tooth try this bakery. Fast and friendly service. Excellent food. We don't have many Polish / Russian / Slavic restaurants around here so hopefully these folks stay in business. Can't wait to try their pierogi and artichoke zapiexy with garlic sauce or their potato pancakes. Man oh man the mushroom sauce on the stuffed cabbage was beyond expectations to me even better than the tomato sauce. WOW. If you are into mushrooms get the stuffed cabbage with mushroom sauce you won't be disappointed. WOW JUST WOW. UPDATE: NEXT DAY........The pierogis are very good. Went back for more stuffed cabbage with mushroom sauce.....YUM.

Love this place! They have awesome paczki here year round. I highly recommend the rose hip jam filled ones (^_^) I've been coming here forever but had never ordered their cakes. I walked in on my daughter's birthday and bought one on the spot. She picked the chocolate/chocolate mousse cake and they personalized a birthday greeting on the top right away. The pricing was very modest for the quality of the cake. It was absolutely delicious. We are not fans of buttercream (which most places like to use) but the cakes here were all whipped cream or mousse. I'd like to point out that there are many cake shops that do beautiful cakes. The problem is that all their efforts go into appearance over taste and texture. This little find has beautiful cakes that win in appearance, taste, AND texture!!

100% 5 stars! Every single time I go in, their baked goods are fresh and delicious and I stock up since I always drop them off at friends and neighbors. I saw a bad review they got over covid restrictions and all I have to say is this. Some people have no life to try and trash an amazing business with hard working people for their own agenda. Shame. Btw everytime I went in there was always a sign on the door for masking so idk what she expects them to do. Even the police wouldn't enforce this so writing a review and giving them a bad rating for that is juvenile. This place is amazing!!!

The latte was good. Service was horrible. You'll noticed this is a common share in their reviews, which means it's not just an isolated incident! It was my first time there and they were not remotely welcoming. I asked 2 questions about the cookies and I hardly got any eye contact to share anything else. Try to smile folks!

Awesome place. You can tell based on the signs, products and people, this is definitely a Polish bakery. Kind a neat, my visit felt like making a short trip to Poland. Half the people in there were probably talking in Polish. This place was hopping on a Saturday morning! I took my place behind the line of customers waiting to be served. I was a little overwhelmed by the huge selections of breads, pastries and cakes they had. Just the selection of cheesecakes there were probably half a dozen choices. There were cookies, eclairs, chocolate waffles, caramel waffles, decorated cakes, apple cake, all kinds of breads, you name it. I tried to chat up a middle aged Polish woman in front of me to ask her for any recommendations but she didn't seem to understand (my) English very well. I should have told her to go back to her own country... :) (just kidding, that would have been a) wrong and b) hypocritical since I am an immigrant myself). Fortunately, the person who helped me spoke perfect English and was friendly. I settled on ordering some croissants, some pastry cream filled danish and some meat pastries. Grabbed some butter from the refrigerator as well. Prices were reasonable too. I tried them all when I got back home and my only regret was not buying more stuff..... :)

We went to the new location in Roselle! Absolutely loved it! My husband is 100% polish and was in heaven. Everything is homemade and delicious!! We had the potato/cheese pierogi, Hungarian goulash, and artichoke zapiexy with garlic sauce. Sooo good! I'd ask for light garlic sauce next time. It was amazing but overpowering.

Amazing bakery with wonderful service !! Ordered my son a cake at the total last minute after he got his leg cast off & they were able to whip up this beautiful thing based off pics I sent !! It completely blew all my expectations & tasted phenomenal!

Their food is absolutely amazing ! Pastry are beautiful and delightfully sweet-- the service, not as sweet as their food. This makes me sad! I love their food but I do not feel welcome when visiting. Not a warm feeling.

Customer service is some of the worst I have experienced. Rude and judgemental. One of my friends had ordered pastries from them and when she went to go pick them up they handed her trays in which she thought were hers. They proceeded to call her 30 minutes later with an attitude saying that she is required to bring them back because a portion of those trays were not hers and that another couple was coming to pick those trays up. Not only were they rude but also very unsanitary to require somebody to bring back food that has left their establishment.

My friend told me about this bakery when I was looking for a good cake to buy. It was pretty far from my house, but decided to go for it. I bought a tiramisu cake and some other treats and IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER. It was worth the drive and I will definitely be back.

Had our gender reveal cake made here. We provided some idea and they made an awesome cake for us. Would recommend them. Cake was not too sweet and delicious. Will be back again to try other options. Reasonable price and great service.

Generally good pastries. I've ordered multiple cakes/cupcakes from here and they are very average tasting, not much flavor. They do a good job decorating the cakes though. I like to get my latte here when I go, but they are ALWAYS out of the English toffee syrup & no consistency in the drinks- why sell the toffee if you are always out? Or why not order more??? Customer service is definitely lacking here- I do not speak polish so I definitely feel uncomfortable and like I should not be here. The young blonde girl is very nice- but the others are not!! I'm sure since this is one of the only local bakeries that's why they do well. But if there was another locally I'd probably go there.

This place has an amazing selection. We have started going weekly for their breads. A family favorite is the rye. We also love the cheesecakes

Worst customer service ever! We were passed over and totally ignored. I guess you have to be Polish in order to get waited on. My money isn't good enough for you??

Customer service was just okay. The cake looked very pretty but the taste wasn't great. The buttercream frosting didn't have much of a taste other than it tasted kind of stale like if you left a cake sitting out uncovered for a week that's what I imagine stale frosting would taste like. The filling was overpowering and just a little too much, there was not much actual cake - just a lot of filling and frosting. I haven't tried any of the other pastries or cookies, but everything looks good, I was just very unimpressed by the taste of the cake and I won't be back and wouldn't recommend.

I like to buy different cakes every time i shop over there. I love lesny mech and snickers. EVERYTHING looks very tempting and GOOD.

What a fabulous cake for my daughter's 15th birthday! Couldn't be happier with the excellent service and selection of cakes. Would definitely return! I posted a picture of the pink and white cake.

A great Polish bakery with bread, a wide variety of pre made cakes, custom cakes, wedding cakes, dessert tables for events, cookies, etc. They also have packaged salads, soups, pierogi, etc in the refrigerator. All of this sits in a cafe style environment with seating. I found this place after I was disgusted with the freshness and quality from "Oak Mill Bakery"...they sold us several mold covered coffee cakes. We are very impressed with Hanna's and we recommend her to everyone. The pricing is very reasonable too.

I'm a sucker for a good pastry. I was spending the day with the kiddo and looking for a place to stop for something sweet. We were by hubby's school, and the link for Hanna's came up.SO GLAD we did because I think we found a gem! This is a completely polish bakery with (what I assume) traditional desserts. Their cakes are served in, for lack of a better term, SLABS! You can get a slice....literally 10"x5", and varying in height! I got hubby the opera cake, which was chocolate and coffee. Although it definitely looked like dark chocolate, he said it was more tiramisu-like, but very good. I had what looked like a giant slab of cream puff with custard in the middle. Very light but delicious! The best part was the cheese cigar that I ran across! The person behind the counter told me the real name, but it was in polish, and I had NO idea what he actually said. All I knew was that it looked awesome! A little background....there's this pretty famous bakery in the LA area, Porto's Bakery. They are known for their cheese rolls, which are flaky pastries filled with a sweet cream and topped with toasted sugar. When we go to LA, I tend to come home with a box from Portos, and believe me....I don't share :) Well, I'VE FOUND IT'S TWIN!! These cheese cigars are so addictive that I came back the next day and ordered 10! It looks like Hanna's has been at their location for a while, and I hope they'll be there forever....just for those cheese cigars!

This place is hands down our family's favorite for cakes for any and all occasions. We probably get cakes from here at least once a month if not more for every birthday, shower, party etc. The cakes are absolutely delicious and they can do just about anything with a little fondant! Bring them a picture of anything you want and they will recreate it for you, and are extremely affordable compared to many other bakeries in the area that do comparable work. The European style cakes are moist and layered with delicious puddings and creams and absolutely melt in your mouth. They also serve up some fantastic little bites and nibbles , from cannoli's to eclairs and again..everything is absolutely delicious!

Nothing less than a 5 star for them,I do remember when it was a deli place and almost it was empty but now doesn't matter when or which day you go there you might stay in the line for good 15 minutes . I almost did try everything here and one is better then the other, Highly recommended.

The sweets are amazing. Everything is super delicious and this is my favorite place to go and get desserts. But the last two times we have been there we got really bad customer service. An older lady was super rude and unfriendly. When we were ordering the older lady with glasses kept rolling her eyes and gave us bad attitude.

I stopped back in at Hanna's for some of the Polish Rye they have, but they were out. (I guess you have to get there early!) The only option was the Sunflower bread ($2.99). I had a Yelp Check-In Offer for $1 off and asked if it applied to the bread/such a small purchase. The staff were unfamiliar with the deal and, while they accepted it, one of the girls took a picture of my phone with the deal. The same girl who took a picture mentioned that someone else had come in with the same deal, and she was going to ask the manager/owner about it. The bread, though, was pretty good! I tried to use it for sandwiches, but it's very small. so I had to make a few. I'd get it again, but I'm still going to try and get there early on the weekend to try the rye!

OK so figured i write a review on this place since i started to use Yelp and would like them to know that they can BAKE. We used to go to Oak Mills but we found this place by a family member who recommended them to us. My wife went there and looked through some cakes and could not believe the prices. The prices on these cakes were so good that she ordered three. Two for our kids birthdays and one for my birthday which was a surprise. I would recommend the passion fruit with raspberry cream ohh it is so good and not to sweet and just right. This is where we will begetting our cakes from now on. The prices are great the cakes are amazing and just a little drive but so worth it.
