Absolutely Outstanding! We had the pleasure of dining at Hanna’s Middle Eastern Restaurant while passing through Danbury, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, cozy atmosphere, and spotless dining area, every detail was perfect. The food was beyond exceptional - the best Middle Eastern cuisine we’ve ever had. We started with the baked lamb and rice grape leaves (handmade daily and truly exquisite) and the stuffed cabbage, both bursting with flavor. A side of French fries with garlic whip was a fun indulgence. For our main courses, the lamb chops and lamb kabobs were cooked to perfection, delivering incredible taste in every bite. To top it off, we ended with Turkish coffee and homemade baklava, the perfect finish before our drive back to Boston. If we lived in Connecticut, we’d be here every week! Hanna’s is a must-visit, and we highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful dining experience at Hanna's Middle Eastern Restaurant. The restaurant is cozy, perfect for a casual yet intimate date. Lina was our server and she immediately made us feel welcome. We ordered: Hommous (with spiced beef and pine nuts added), Meat Pies, The Gyro Platter (with lamb) entree, and the Mixed Grill entree. Let me tell you - I was blown away by the flavors in every bite. Consider eating here and supporting a local business that's sure to get you thinking about your next visit as soon as you walk out the door. (p.s. cash tips are appreciated at this establishment)!

I recently dined at Hanna’s in Danbury and had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing, with rich and diverse flavors in every bite. The highlight of my evening was the exceptional service from Lina—she was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The hospitality here is truly top-notch, making newcomers feel right at home. I highly recommend this spot for dinner or a date night. As a bonus, they treated me to complimentary Baklawa before I left. I hope they expand and open a location in Bethel soon!

Good food, good vibes. Hanna’s a great warm & friendly restaurant with the owners making sure you’re enjoying the food. Not sure what to get? They’ll be happy to recommend. I ordered the stuffed squash and chicken sharwarma. They were both full of flavor and the sauce from the stuffed squash was amazing. Come experience an authentic Lebanese cuisine and make your taste buds dance.

I never had a moussaka so damm good!! I was mind blown by it. I ordered the brozini fried fish and it's super delicious as well. It goes so well with the rice. I can understand why this is highly rated! Definitely worth another visit soon!!!

From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and warm service set the tone for a perfect meal. I went with Hanna’s Combo, which was an absolute standout! It’s a generous platter packed with a variety of flavors that truly showcase the restaurant's expertise. The Mixed Grill was a perfect mix of tender meats, cooked to perfection, and full of smoky, flavorful goodness. The Lamb Kebab was exceptionally juicy and seasoned beautifully, with just the right balance of spices. The Lamb Chops were another highlight – perfectly cooked, with a nice sear on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside. Every bite was a delight, and the portions were more than generous, making it great value for money. If you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, Hanna’s is a must-visit. Can't wait to return for more of these amazing dishes!

I had the most wonderful lunch at Hanna’s the what a gorgeous display of Lebanese food! Everything was fresh, clean, and beautiful thank you to Maha for facilitating such a lovely meal!

This is for the market not the restaurant — Really great, interesting, well priced Middle Eastern food specialities. Amazing Turkish pistachios (yes better than California!) and yogurt drinks, cheeses, desserts olives— a lot of yummy things.

I feel everytime I come here, I'm dining in someone's home and they're feeding me incredible food. On the weekends, Lena is usually the hostess and she makes you feel right at home. My go to is the lamb chops (pictured). Another of my options is the branzini. My wife will get a vegetarian dish of her choosing, and there have been many over the years. Wrap up your meal with some Lebanese dessert and coffee. There's a reason we've been coming here for 25 years.

Yum! We enjoyed the beautiful Lebanese spread with red wine everything was so complimentary and delicious!! The restaurant was so lovely to sit in relax and enjoy.

Wow! What a find! This unassuming strip-mall restaurant was amazingly good. Huge menu, great soups and the usual Middle Eastern classic dishes.... Many also sold in Hanna's market next door. Service at our Friday lunch by server Luna was fast and efficient. She was so anxious to please and gracious in her service. We will be back!

The market itself had some VERY high prices on packaged food on the shelves. Got a take-out counter pint of baba, some hummus and spinach pies and all were very good!

I came in for lunch today. The restaurant is cozy and service is friendly. Not only is the food very good, but it is a great value. I had the number 4 combo which had falafel, hummus, tabouli and stuffed grape leaves. All of that was less than $13! I don't think you will find a better tasting deal out there. The falafel was not hard like some falafel can get and the hummus was thick and creamy. The tabouli was fresh and the grape leaves had a nice lemon accent to the flavor. It was a large plate and very filling.

Discovered Hanna's one day through the amazing doordash during a "hangry"/middle eastern food craving while stuck at work. I absolutely loved it then but I loved it even more NOW when going physically to the market side of Hanna's. John and the team were absolutely amazing and helpful. Love that you can walk into the little market side and pick up local flavors like hummus, baba ghanoush, bread, spices, grape leaves, anything and everything really! You can also do pickup, takeout or even dine in right next door. Did a big order of falafel, grape leaves, baba ghanoush (the S M O K E Y ness hereeeeeee!) and some other little sides for a little dinner with friends and we were all amazed and in love with everything. It was so easy to place the order and also the quality ingredients were truly what hit the spot. Family owned businesses like this that make you feel like you are part of the family. Thank you to Hanna's for cooking with your heart, it really shows through every single bite. If you're craving some middle eastern flavors, you'll absolutely fal a la la la la la fel in love with them!

One of our favorite restaurants. Anytime we are driving through Danbury we stop and then stock up on hummus from their store.

I went to Hanna's for the first time last night and had an amazing experience. Lina greeted my party as we walked in and had us sat in seconds. She gave us ample amount of time to peruse the menu before asking if we had questions. She knew it was our first time so she gave recommendations and even showed us the "right" way to eat the falafel appetizer (it was so good I forgot to take a picture and next thing I knew, the food was gone). I got the mixed grill entree and I was extremely impressed! The chicken was juicy, the lamb melted like butter in my mouth, and the spices in the kafta were perfect. If you like garlic, ask for the whipped garlic....my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area and if you're not in the area, it's worth the drive!!

This restaurant is a jewel! The food was excellent and the service was perfect. It was the best hummus I have had in years, and the ma'amoul was outstanding!

One of my coworkers ordered from here because she likes trying different places to eat. I decided to get an order. It was my first time also, and I loved it. They have a large selection, and everything looks and sounds good. I had a hard time choosing what to get. I ended up getting Naan bread, grilled chicken, tomatoes, onions, and tzatzaki sauce. I really loved it and I wish they delivered At least I don't think that they deliver. I'm about to find out right now, though!!!!

Highly recommend. Restaurant on the left side and market on the right side. Head over to the market to stock up on staples. The to go food I ordered lasted about 4 meals. They had plenty of vegetarian options - baba ghanoush, hummus, eggplant, lentils and rice, pitas, baklava, to name some options. The location is also very accessible when you are traveling by Danbury with easy parking.

We got delivered food from Hanna's and it was exceptional. I can see their service is beyond great! Food was so fresh and tasty. Thank you Hanna's for serving the best eastern Food in CT.

10 stars, not 5! Ordered for 55 people for a backyard party. I like to cook and know food well and so am very particular with what I eat and where I order food. This place was absolutely amazing. The presentation was also very good. Worked one on one with the owner who himself oversaw and helped with the making of the food and even helped to transport the food to my car. The food was perfectly prepared, very fresh, not at all oily with very good flavors. Would recommend this place to everyone everywhere.

We found this restaurant purely by chance on a road trip to NJ. The food and service were excellent - everything was so fresh and delicious! The server was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend!

Where do I begin? If you're looking for something that will exceed your expectations, Hannas is a must! I went to Hannas on a whim, thinking of bringing my mom, her favorite Middle Eastern food. I was greeted by Mr. Hannah, who guided me through their well thought out menu. Shortly there after I was greeted by Mrs. Hannah, who helped me choose pita bread, baklava, and made lovely conversation. I promise you will not be disappointed. My mother and I are both looking forward to our leftovers for dinner.

The food is excellent and the service is amazing. I have nothing more to ask from this place. You leave happy! That's is all I can say. I could go on about the food but I leave that to the critics.

Food was not authentic Mediterranean. Ambiance was good and service was fast. The Turkish tea was good and the baklava but the main course was below average. Toum served with shawarma was too garlicky. Wouldn't recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Lebanese food.

This restaurant caters to Lebanese food and they easily handled my Celiac (gluten-free) diet. Service and food is excellent.

Amazing food and service. Highly recommend Hanna's Middle Eastern Restaurant. We went on a week day for lunch and the we had the place to ourselves, the ambiance made you feel you were in Turkey (not that I've ever been) the music and service was great!

Basically everything I have had off their menu was prepared well. Felt like it was fresh made with fresh ingredients, nothing imitation or processed here!! The Hanna Salad is awesome , tabouleh is one of the best I have had. The Chicken Tawook is unique and delish as are their falafel! Speaking of falafel, theirs is the perfect combination of crisp not overly crunchy and soft inside packed with flavor. They have a market with refrigerated and shelved goods and some specialty middle eastern bakery items. Try the labne spread on toast! I am so happy I was told about Hanna's as it is a gem. Oh yeah if I want tahini I would go there it is the best. Any other pales in comparison. One of the only things I have not had is Mousakaa entrée because it is different to the Greek version and I am very partial to the Greek variation. But I will eventually give it a try and am sure it will be delicious. The first think my husband had when I picked up dinner after work a while ago was the Chicken Tawook with lettuce and tomato sandwich and he was sold. Now it's on our take out list in the #2 spot. Be prepared to feast if you get a dinner entrée and do not hesitate to try the mezzas, sides, and desserts.

Best lamb kebob around. This restaurant has exceptional service with a cozy feel. Servers give great recommendations for wine pairings & salad parings with entrees. The lamb is melt in your mouth delicious and cooked to the desired temperature perfectly. Definitely will recommend to friends from all over. Make this a stop in your travels!

Food is amazing! You will have a great meal at a great price. They have wines by the glass. Service is fast and friendly. Will definitely go again. They also have takeout and a great market. I've bought the hummus to go and it was exceptional. The ambiance is casual.

Went there last night, We had the lamb kabob and the Hanna plater The lamb was cooked perfectly and you can't go wrong with the stuffed squash, grape leaves and baked Kibbie.

Hands down best Lebanese in CT. Menu is well made staples Lebanese families treasure. Everything you hope for in other Mediterranean places. Highly recommend the baked kibbe and stuffed squash. Right next door is their own market with specialty goods.

My friends and I stopped here and LOVED everything we ate. We ordered the Hanna's sampler, falafel, moussaka and knafeh. Also our server was delightful.

My fiancé and stopped in to try out a new restaurant and loved it!! We don't have a ton of experience with Lebanese food and Lena (our waiter) was awesome and so helpful with what we should try off the menu. The food was delicious! Definitely one to try if you are in the area! Great family place!

We visited Hanna's on a spur of the moment decision during a road trip, and wow, what an excellent dining experience! We got the mezze platter for lunch and were very happy with the high quality of the dishes and generous portions provided. We were also big fans of the Turkish coffee and baklava. The service was top notch as well. It felt like we had stepped into the home of a family friend!

My wife and I were both blown away by the amazing food at Hanna's. We had recently relocated from the Chicago area and were lamenting the lack of high-quality Middle Eastern food when someone recommended we try out Hanna's, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The food is both delicious and moderately priced! The Baba Ghanous was the best I have ever had, and the pita bread is light and very tasty. Make sure you leave room for the baklava or one of their other excellent deserts. We'll be making regular trips to this wonderful restaurant now that we have discovered it.

You would miss this place driving past it, but the food is amazing and priced appropriately. Definitely a regular now.

Incredible hidden gem in Danbury. The food and service were excellent. Even my kids were impressed. My five-year-old said they made her favorite rice ever! We devoured everything. A truly special and delicious find.

If you're looking for the best service and best food, then this is the restaurant you have to go to. I had the Baba Ghannouj - best I ever had - and vegetarian Stuffed Grape Leaves for lunch. Bost very delicious. Every was super happy with the food and the service. Fantastic vegan options. Nad better yet: you can buy some of it in the store next door.

Hostess opened the Restaurant early for us for lunch ! Lovely interior! All that we ordered was delicious . After lunch we visited their grocery store next door and took home Halawah and other delicacies!

Hanna's is great! We had falafal with tahini sauce for an appetizer. It was recommended by Lena our waitress. It was very good. I had vegetarian mousakka which was also very good. They also sell the mousakka at the market next door as well as their hummus and baba ganoush. Once you have eaten these you will not go back to store bought. Great staff and great food.

It was worth the ride from Clifton NJ to be wined and dined by the beautiful Maja. Mr Hannah prepared the most delicious Middle Eastern food I've ever enjoyed. We must have tried almost everything on the menu and one delicacy was better than the next. The ambiance is charming and the food is unrivaled The attached grocery store, where I purchased a stash for my freezer is an added perk. It was a delightful afternoon
