Hanoi Buffalo Hostel

It was a once in a lifetime trip and I’m really happy we chose to do it with Buffalo tours. Nick was our team leader and he did an awesome job organising everything. Hung was my easy driver and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide, he went above and beyond during our trip. He handled the rough terrain really well and also pointed out and explained things we passed as well. He also gifted me a bracelet as well which was really sweet. All the tour guides treated us like family and everyone was always included. The bonus activités were also really good. We had a boat tour, a few hikes and a stop at a water fall The accommodation was amazing for every night, and all the amenities were up to a good standard. They also organise all transport before and after the tour which made everything really seamless during our trip Couldn’t recommend Buffalo Tours enough!!!

I did the 4 day 3 night loop as an over 30 solo traveller and had so much fun. The drivers are careful, skilled and friendly. I met heaps of great people of all ages. The views are amazing. One of the best experiences during my travels. One small thing was the private rooms I stayed in were comfortable but could have been cleaner. Thanks to our group leader Timmy and Dũng for making it a great week.

I did the 4 day / 3 night trip Ha Giang Loop Trip with Buffalo and I can really recommend doing it. I had Panda has a driver and he was such an amazing driver. I always felt very safe and had a lot of fun. The Homestays are nice and the food is amazing. In the evening there is always happy water and karaoke, which is a lot of fun. I‘m super happy about the experience and had an amazing time!

Life changing experience. I planned for three days, had a amazing time and made friends across all groups, Jinh was my driver and first leader, he knew all the best stops and made every effort to ensure we had a good time. I had such a amazing time I extended to the 4 day trip, I changed drivers and went into Timmys group. Hes another great leader and king of karaoke! He made us all feel so comfortable. Forever grateful to have had this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it more.

A real adventure. The four day tour is easily the best activity to do in Vietnam. The views are amazing and the food is brilliant. Every driver is accomodating and wants to be your friend. We used Google translate to speak with our drivers and even had a few laughs! Po, Khien and Châm were the best, we even got to see Po's home and meet his family. I would highly recommend to do this trip with Buffalo. To add, we was put in a group with other couples and all the solo travellers were in another.

I did the Ha Giang Loop 4D3N with Buffalo and it was amazing. Our group leader Timmy had organized everything very well and we never had to rush. I drove with Loi who is a very good driver but actually all drivers are good. All of us felt safe all the time. In the evening there is always a little party with happy water but it’s definitely not a party tour. It’s a must do in the North of Vietnam!!

We did the 4 night 3 day loop with Buffalo Hostel and had the best time. The drivers were all extremely friendly and we felt super safe, the stops for coffee were a welcome break. Super well organised with lots of activities included as well as lots of Happy Water. We upgraded to private rooms and they were all super comfy and clean. Our leader Pó spoke a great English and always made sure we were okay and enjoying ourselves. The food at all the stops was super delicious and there was always plenty to go around!! There was the chance to party and sing karaoke but there was no pressure and it wasn’t too loud. The groups were small enough to not feel overcrowded and we made some great friends. Really really recommend going with Buffalo if you’re considering doing the loop.

I just spent four days with Timy's group on the Ha Giang loop, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The scenery is incredible, and the drivers are so kind. A big hug to Hung, who took such good care of me. The atmosphere is fantastic, you become a family traveling through the mountains. The dorms are clean, the common areas are welcoming, and we party just the right amount. I recommend it 10000%
